HP Notebook — non receipt of promotional gift

HI,

I have purchased a hp pavilion dv2713tu notebook from Jalan Distributors, Gorakhpur on 14th may, 2008. The product have a promotional offer of free gift of a TV Tuner and a WiFi music device, worth of Rs. 9000.00. I have registered my purchase online for this offer and provided a Redemption Code FZEAQASZ 6. After that, I have send all the required documents with a DD of Rs 500.00 to:

HP Pavilion Notebook — regarding d negligence in repairing the product providing no information abt the product

i submitted my hp pavilion notebook for repairing (under warranty ), in simtech hp service centre dadar on 18-10-08. since then these people had nether made me a call nor gave the information regarding the repairing of my laptop, instead they use to cut the line whenever i used to make a call to them . i had spent so much of amount in making calls and travelling to dadar .kindly suggest what shld i do .my laptop is still over there ...
Replacement of HP Pavillion dv2122TU Laptop S/No 2CE7051VS8 P/No. RQ135PA

1. I have purchased above said laptop on 04/05/2007 from GEONET IT MALL, Mumbai.

2. It is very sad to say that the day I have purchased the laptop as it was unsatisfactory so, so many hardware parts have been changed by their engineer. At present it is lying unservicable and out o[censored]se.

I am facing various problems like the problem in the hardware of Bluetooth, BIOS, Hard Disk, RAM, problem while unable to access the Internet with bluetooth, unrecognised USB's. Sometimes while working with the laptop, it gets automatically switched off and again restarts itself, etc.

3. when I have visited their various centers for services, they have kept the laptop for service for more than a month and again after using it the same problem arise. Here I assure that I have to visit their service centers for more than 10 times and it could not rectified. I feel so that this laptop is an headache for me.

4. Keeping in above you I have purchased care pack also with an HP CARE PACK SERIAL NO. - G1NPIN027466 with an expiry date on 28/05/2009.

5. But it is very sad to say that recently I have visited HP Horizons Center, Karnal(Haryana, India). They have charged Rs. 550/- to solve my bluetooth problem stating that this is not a hardware problem and it is a software problem but they could not solve the above said problems.
Again I have visited them and this time they told me this is an hardware problem and as per stated in JOB Card they have changed the bluetooth device but the problem still persists.

6. I was provided with a free gift of HP Tv Tuner card with this laptop. I further assure you even though this is not working till date.

7. a laptop worth Rs. 53, 400/- + a care pack worth Rs. 6, 250/- and so many times amount spent to visit your various centers + various phone calls made to your HP Customer Care, did not satisfied me be your customer.

8. I have also emailed you earlier too on the email id: in.[protected]@hp.com but till date no response was made from this side.

HP Notebook — screen partially blacked out

I bought one HP DV9502AU from reliance digital cunningham road bangalore on 13th jan 2008 for rs 41474/24.
Within one month the screen was showing only in one half and I deposited the lap top with reliance who asked me to approach the HP service center.
The service center returned the comp after 6 months saying its not their fault.
I again asked for the repair charges and they have asked for diaplay screen worth rs 33035/18 vide their quotation no [protected] dated 29/10/08 .
For the laptop worth 44k HP is asking me for rs33k and for the last one year I am chasing their service center.
I have not used the laptop even for 45 days which may be checked from HP service center records and service center ladies don't even connect me to anybody senior.
shall be grateful if my complaint is resolved

HP Pavallion Notebook — Digital Camera Not Received

i have purchased my hp dv 5 series laptop on 8th december. there was offer of a kodak digicam at that time lt was told by you people that it will b upto you within 6 weeks but till now i have not found my digicam .

HP PAVILLION NOTEBOOK — HP Pavillion Notebook Promotional offer gift not received.

I bought a HP Pavillion Notebook on Dec 5th from India under the
promotional offer. As Per the Terms and Condition Written on your Website
It should take maximum 6 weeks to ship the gift to my communication
address. I checked the Shipment and it was delivered on 12th Jan 2009,
Consignment Number B[protected]DTDC Courier Services). But Till now the
Gift has not been delivered to me. I tried calling Many times to the
Redemption Cell Number. But Not sure unintentionally or Intentionally my
calls are being disconnected after 5 mins before talking to you Redemption
cell executive. I am feeling really harased as I never expected this kind
o[censored]nprofessionalism from World''s biggest/largest PC Maker.

When I wrote them they replied saying that due to cargo service problems
the delivery will be delayed by 15-20 days. This was communicated after
the stipulated time and when I asked for the reason there is no reply from
them till now.

Finally I made up my mind to write you. Please reply back soon.

I have all the supportings ready to justify what ever I wrote above. If
needed I can send across those.
Consequences : I called many times (STD Calls) from my cellphone even when
I was roaming. Also lot of my valuable time wasted in following up with
them. The Cost of Sending mails. I also felt very much helpless when they
didn''t receive my call. I got mentally tensed.

More over the extended time given is also over and still they didn't bother to contact me.

HP/Pavilion notebook — gift not received

Dear Sir,

I bought a hp/laptop on 30 jan 2009.
at the of purchase i was informed by the local dealer (sigma I.T.store) that i will get a gift within six weeks and a D.D. of 1499/= towards handling charges was send by first flight courier but it"s already 14 weeks and i have not got my gift till today.
So please take appropriate actions to this matter and order the concerned persons to send the gift and do not do this type of lingering with the other customers in future.

I have talked to Mr. Karun on 17/03/2009 & again on 20/04/2009 to Mr Shivdutt. Both of them promise d10-15 days but all in vain. kindly send me as soon as possible. My parent are also worry of this if this matter ll not taken seriously I ll have to go to consumer forum and report a case against Hp compaq. HP Pavilion Notebook — Have not received the motorokr mobile phone as student offer

i have bought the hp pavilion dv4 1414tx laptop on 24/8/2009

I chose an option to claim motorokr E8 as hp students offer.

I bought the laptop at Erode in Tamil nadu.they said that the product will be delivered with in a maximum of three month...but i haven't received the product so i made a complaint in the hp website..

i got a reply as"Claim has been approved against file no. 131576.

It will be dispatched at the same alternate address provided by you within 3-4 working days time."

HP Pavilion Laptop — problem regarding the product

I had purchased a laptop of hp pavolion and i am not satisfy with the laptop
because after some month of purchasing some problem come in laptop, than
i contact with the hp coustomer care in dehradun they replace some part of laptop
but after that the problem is still not working , so many time i have submitted my laptop but again and again the problem comes in laptop.
so sir i have decided to take a legel action (go to the consumer foram) against the hp

      My husband bought me a lovely HP envy touch screen for Christmas.......only for me to find out that the microphone did not work....this wasn't a problem and the people from support said the very next day they would collect it and have it fixed within 10 days.....
      you see although other companies have a Christmas returns system HP does not and my husband being prepared for Christmas actually bought the laptop on the 27Th of November so they deemed the laptop was a month old....and I could not just have a replacement....I had only used the laptop for 2 days .......
      anyway the first return date came and went......so I phoned up to ask where it was.......had they lost it? could they not fix it? well no one really knew........but they where certain it would be fixed once they got a part.........the next three return dates came and went..... and many distraught phone calls......and yes they may well have taped them!......so I demanded my money back in writing .......still nothing no computer and no refund......

      the customer service team...Bol***ks, they haven't a foggiest and the complains department even worse,
      Basically if you want a rubbish computer and worse customer service by a HP.........if you want something that works and works by an IPAD.

            The color reading input plastic part in the printer is not available from the company itself. I had contacted "Reddington India LTD" the official service centre in vadodara, from where i was told of permanent non-availability of spare-parts from the company itself. It's hardly been 16 months of the purchase of my printer and its of no use now.

              I have purchased a HP laptop from Dubai on 1/08/2012 and it carries a international warranty or 1 year. The Laptop got a Harddisk problem on 18/12/2012 and a complaint was raised with HP company. But the company people are saying the bill cannot be vaildated and not providing any support further. Kindly help as the company is not replacing the faulty part within Warranty.
              The have not even initiated any communication with Laptop dealier in Dubai.

                I have purchased a HP laptop from Dubai on 01/08/2012 and it carries a international warranty for 1 year
                The Laptop got some problem on 18/12/2012 and could not start. On raising a complaint with HP ( complaint No. [protected], [protected])
                the company told me that it is a Harddisk problem and you need to visit any of our Service center. On visiting Service center the

                  III-A, LEVEL-1 UPPER GROUND FLOOR FUN REPUBLIC MALL, GOMTI NAGAR, LUCKNOW-226010 (U.P). FROM DAY ONE THE LAPTOP HAD DEFECTS IN IT. THE OPTICAL DRIVE OF THE LAPTOP WAS DEFECTIVE AND LOOSE.ON COMPLAINING ABOUT IT TO THE JUMBO STAFF, THEY SAID TO TALK TO THE HP CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT THE DEFECTS AND THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAPTOP ONCE THE PURCHASED ITEM IS CARRIED OUT OF THE SHOWROOM. AS I HAD AN EMERGENCY, USING THE LAPTOP WAS THE ONLY OPTION FOR ME. FEW MONTHS LATER THE LAPTOP STARTED TO MALFUNCTION. ON CHECKING THE COMPUTER CONFIGURATION, I FOUND OUT THAT THE GRAPHICS CARD WHICH COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION OF THIS MODEL, WAS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MINE AND WAS NOT DISPLAYED,WHICH IS A HARDWARE ERROR. TO REPORT THE ISSUE TO HP I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM BUT NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I TIRED TO CALL THEM FOR MORE THAN A WEEK, BUT NO RESPONSE FROM HP.
                  ONE MONTH LATER I WENT TO THE SERVICE STATION ( HP AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE IN TARVO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, IInd FLOOR, DAYAL CHAMBER 3-WAY ROAD, OPP. KRISHI BHAWAN, RAM MOHAN MARG, LUCKNOW-226001) TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LAPTOP. THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER TO REGISTER MY COMPLAIN. MEAN WHILE I NOTICED ANOTHER DEFECT IN THE LAPTOP. THE PLASTIC BODY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE LAPTOP STARTED TO BREAK AND WAS BRITTLE. THEY ( H.P SERVICE) SAID A STAFF MEMBER WILL COME TO INSPECT THE LAPTOP AND REPAIR IT IN TOW TO THREE DAYS. THE STAFF MEMBER CAME AFTER 5 DAYS TO INSPECT IT. ON INSPECTING THE LAPTOP THE SERVICE GUY TOO FOUND DEFECTS IN THE LAPTOP APPROX. 11 DEFECTS WERE THERE.

                  8. KEYBOARD KEY FUNCTION ERROR
                  9. OPTICAL DRIVE LOOSE
                  10.COOL SENSE NOT WORKING
                  11.SPEAKERS SOUND NOT CLEAR AND VERY LOW
                  AFTER INSPECTING THE LAPTOP, THE SERVICE STAFF MEMBER REQUESTED TO TAKE THE LAPTOP WITH HIM TO THE SERVICE CENTRE FOR REPAIR. ON WRITING THE JOB SHEET, THE MAN ASKED TO WRITE A REASON FOR THE BROKEN LAPTOP BODY BUT THERE WERE NONE AS THE BODY WAS BRITTLE AND DID NOT FELL OR SLIPPED FROM MY HANDS OR ANY ACCIDENT HAPPENED. BUT THE MAN REQUESTED TO WRITE THIS DOWN: THE LAPTOP FELL FROM THE TABLE AND THE LEFT SIDE CRACKED.
                  BUT NOTHING LIKE THIS HAPPENED. THEY SAID I WILL HAVE TO AS THE COMPANY NEEDS A REASON FOR HOW THE LAPTOP GOT DAMAGED. SO I DID.
                  THE DATE THEY TOOK THE LAPTOP WITH THEM FOR REPAIR WAS 3RD DEC 2012 AND SAID THEY WILL RETURN IT IN 7-10 WORKING DAYS . AS THE TIME PERIOD SAID BY THE SERVICE PEOPLE ENDED, I CONTACTED THEM TO KNOW THE STATUS OF MY LAPTOP. THEY SAID THAT THE PART NEEDED TO REPLACE THE BODY HAS NOT ARRIVED AND WILL TAKE 2-3 DAYS MORE. ON SEVERAL SUCH TELEPHONIC ACCOUNTS THE ANSWER WAS SAME. ON THE LAST TELEPHONIC CONVERSATION, THEY SAID THE PART HAS STILL NOT ARRIVED IF I WISH I CAN TAKE MY LAPTOP BACK AND USE IT AND WHEN THE PART ARRIVES IT WILL BE REPLACED. I AGREED. THE MAN EVEN THIS TIME GOT DELAYED AND CAME 2 DAYS LATER TO WHAT HE SAID ON 26TH DEC 2012. WHEN THE LAPTOP ARRIVED IT WAS IN MUCH MORE DAMAGED STATE AND WAS COVERED IN SCRATCHES AND DENTS AND THE OPTICAL DRIVE WAS STILL LOOSE. WHEN THE LAPTOP WAS TURNED ON, THE SAME PROBLEMS WHICH WERE THERE FROM THE BEGINNING WHERE STILL THERE. THE WIFI WAS NOT WORKING AND SAME WAS WITH THE FINGER PRINT READER. SO NOT LOOKING INTO THE LAPTOP FURTHER I DECIDED TO RETURN IT BACK TO THEM. THIS WAS REALLY ANNOYING ! FEW DAYS LATER I SENT A LETTER TO THE H.P Customer Experience Team. AFTER SOME CONVERSATION EVEN TELEPHONIC ONE, THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE THE LAPTOP OR REFUND THE COST. FEW DAYS BACK ON 4TH JAN 2013 AN EMAIL WAS SENT TO ME STATING THAT H.P IS READY TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY PERIOD BY ONE MONTH AND REPLACEMENT AND REFUND IS NOT AN OPTION, AND WITH IT THEY EVEN STATED THAT IF I DID’NT LISTEN TO THEM WITHIN 24 HOURS AND WILL NOT REPLY THEM, THEY WILL VOID THE CASE AND CLOSE THE COMPLAIN. NOW ON SENDING THEM EMAILS THEY ARE NOT LISTENING OR RESPONDING TO MY LETTERS. WHICH IS MENTALLY HARASSING ME.MY FAMILY AND I AM UNDER A LOT OF STRESS AND HARD EARNED MONEY SPENT ON THE EXPENSIVE LAPTOP IS GOING WASTE.TODAY WHEN TIME EQUALS MONEY I HAVE SUFFERED A GREAT DEAL OF LOSS ! TODAY THE PRODUCTS PRICE HAS DEPRECIATED AND IN THAT CASE I DON’T WANT MY LAPTOP BACK INSTEAD I WANT MY AMOUNT REFUNDED WITH INTEREST. TODAY I AM HAVING A NEED TO BUY ANOTHER LAPTOP TO COVER MY LOSS. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO CONSIDER IT AS AN EMERGENCY.

                    I bought a Hp laptop, model number Hp[protected]TU on 23rd December 2012 from ComputerLand (HP World), U-199, Shakarpur, Main Vikas Marg, Near Metro Pillar No.32,Delhi-110092, and after coming home I found one of the key is popped out, which was gently pressed and came out after one touch, and so, I rushed very next day to the showroom with this complaints of manufacturer default and to exchange my system, but instead of helping me out the manager told me, now its responsibility of Hp people not ours once we sold means we sold and told me to speak with Hp help line and lodge a complaint so, I did they registered my complaint with the case No.of [protected], and sent an engineer to solve , inspite of my saying its only one day and I didn't use my system, they denied and took the details and sent it to Hp, on 26th of December 2012, and since then there is no response, whenever I use to call them they don't pick my phone or if they say its under evaluation it will take more 3 days, and those Hp people promised me they will rectify this problem within 3 days but nothing has been done till now....whenever I ca.ll Hp helpline they just give an excuse service centre will help. I'm suffering with this, now its more than 12 days but no response, like this its me only suffering and all my work got stuck due to this, my laptop is kept with me as it is. I lost my Rs 30,000 and there is no response from Hp side.
                    All I need either my system should be replaced or I get my money back, I'm bugged of by all this.
                    Kindly help me out with this issue as soon as possible.

                            2. On 05 Dec it developed a fault, due to a cooling fan.

                            4. Till date no action taken, No replacement has been provided for the defective laptop neither has any corrective action been taken.

                                  I just wanted to share an very unpleasing experience which I had with my HP Laptop(Serial No. CNF 7062JJ1). The case history is as follows :-



                                  I had purchased the above laptop from M/s JAY COMPUTERS on 23/03/07 vide their Invoice No. 176/Mar/06-07 by investing my savings of the last couple of years so that it could help me grow my business. But only with in a few months the laptop started creating various problems and I had to struggle a lot on the helpline numbers in order to some seek help. Only after continuous interaction with your service officers I was instructed to hand it over to your HP Service centre at kalina, which I respected by did first on 18th Dec’ 2007 and these after started my struggle to get back a repaired and and perfect laptop.

                                  Since 18th Dec’ 2007 I have been thrice faked by your service department saying that they had repaired perfectly my laptop but all my efforts have not shown any results till date. Even after two months and a couple of visits to the service department, I do not have my laptop and the same is with your service of names repairs. After going through all these useless efforts of mine, what I now feel is that is my laptop has some basic manufacturing defect which is not repairable as your service department has already tried to do almost three times.



                                  So I would request you to please accept back your useless machine and refund me mine money along with bank interest so that I can purchase a new and proper working laptop so that I am not faced with any more of such mental and physical harassment.



                                  Hope you understand the whole scenario and take appropriate action immediately.

                                      I bought my laptop from HP and sent the required documents with demand draft in the last week of Oct' 08 to get my gift of digital camera.

                                      I got the confirmatory e-mail from HP Redemption cell stating that my claim date is 03-Nov-08 and i would receive my digital camera within 6 weeks from claim date. i.e i would be receiving on 16-Dec-08.
