Punjab National Bank — Misguidance

I have saving A/c [protected] with Punjab National Bank branch at Feroze Gandhi Market Ludhiana. I went there to get the check book for my A/c. They said that I can drop my check requisition slip with any branch within Ludhiana. Next day I went to PNB branch at Cheema Chowk ,They refused to take the slip saying that they dont have that facility to offer.

All I want to know is if the branches dont have these kind of facilities to offer..then why they misguide us.

i want to check my balance. my account no is [protected]. and i also know that how i can check my balance in mobile. plz reply me asap. thank

Bank — ATM PIN Charges

Good Evening,

This is brought to our notice that all the private banks are charging the customers for issuing a new ATM PIN Number wherein it should be issued to the customer free of cost because, many a times due to technical issues the Debit Card or ATM PIN Number does not work in the same bank ATM where customer has his/her account.

The bank people will not accept their fault and they will try to imposed those charges on the customers. Its high time we need to look into these issues.

On 13/10/09 at 13:13 , i tried to withdraw Rs 5000 in Gangoh, Shahranpur.
I dint get money but 5000 got deducted from my account. So please try to revert that money in my account as soon as possible.

i try to dispatched my money from axis bank atm near cant bareilly utter pradesh but i didnot get my money and machine gave me recipt and my money is cuted from my a/c so its my request to transect my 3000 to my a/c.

i myself did open an avings Acc. by the PNB/Manali on the date (cus. number CNW002520) and untill dat i DID NOT RECIEVE te VISA-electron that comes with the account. reason (maybe?!) because the Junior Manager from the Manali Branch DID REFUSE the application about 5 (five!!) times for no reason at all.
for me (having good experiences with other banks in India) this is totaly unexceptable. and i do can relate very easy to the other complainants.
i would nobody advise to open a bank account at the Punjab National Bank.

PNB - ATM — not being provided with ATM

Sir/mam
This is to inform you that I had got opened a salary account (account.no- [protected]) at Punjab National Bank (KNIT Branch), Sultanpur (U.P.) on 06/Oct/09. Even after more than 20 days & several requests the bank is not providing me with the ATM & is neither accepting my ATM request form, making silly excuses that your signature has not been scanned & is not loaded on the computer and will be scanned after we will get time. However these excuses are fake because the bank rule says that the customers should be provided with the ATM facility immediately after getting an account opened.
Even after I had received my passbook I am facing problem in withdrawing my salary.
Kindly help me out and provide me with the ATM.
