I am have a prepaid connection of Airtel. I am still receiving their promotional emails even after NDNC registery about 2 months back. I have been subscribed to some services like "Picture Post Friendship" and they have been deducting Re. 1 daily from my balance. I have been receiving pornographic material from Airtel promoting " Hot Babes, Cute Girls, FTV Girls, Free Girls Invitation" etc. which does not suit the status of the company like Airtel. I think Airtel has gone bankrupt and is doing cheap gimmicks to extract money from the customers.

    Regarding postpaid to prepaid connection
    I had applied for a prepaid connection on the 11th of March 2008 from the mobile ARC Ghatkoper (E) Mumbai I have submitted all the necessary documents i.e ID, application and a photo ID received the new sim card No:[protected] on same day but the connection till this date is not activated. My no [protected] service is not activated saying sim registration failed

    I visited Relationship Center City Mobile at Sangli (Maharashtra) for the same.
    I got the information that premium numbers cannot get transfer from Postpaid to Prepaid. from 08/05/2008.
    They also show me the mail they have received from Mr Rohit Roy regarding the premium numbers.
    I also requested them that give me in return that they are not able to transfer from postpaid to prepaid.


    Plz help me out for the above problem.

    Airtel — ALLOT OLD SIM CARD

    AIRTEL IS ALLOTING OLD SIM CARD WHICH IS USED ALREADY BY ANY OTHERS COUSTMER.MY AIRTEL NO IS [protected] & I HAVE PURCHASE THE SIM BEFORE 2 MONTH BACK.FROM THE DATE I M RECEIVING CALLS ON MY NO AIRTEL'S OLD USER (MR.PREDEEP)
    WHY AIRTEL IS ALLOTING THE SAME ?????

    Airtel/ Pre-paid — No return since 08/08/2008

    Still, i've not recieved any feedback from the company after continuous contact and assurance that your recharge money will dispay within 24 hours.

    Therefore, i think on that whether this site is time pass or Airtel is fraud.
    No transparency in the overall system.
    The system driven is person based, who are operated without any fear.

    If the company operated with such kind of fool personnels, then definately it's goes to down fall in the future.

    Now i take oath that i never propose Airtel to anybody and who are the user, i definately shows the data and try to avoid Airtel.

    If company spend crore rupees in advertizing then, i will loss million through negative promotion i.e. mouth to mouth publicity and collect the data personnaly.

    If have some sense regarding the business then, i want immediately action on my complaint, my complaint number is[protected].
    Amount is not the matter, only system/ commitment could play great role in the business.

    on 03/06/08 the service provider came to my home & explained us the plan (199 corporate plan).The plan was very good .I & my wife changed from Pre paid to post paid & he assured us that next date person from Airtel wil come for verification & after that within 24 hrs my service will start.The verification was completed on 06/06/08 & till date my service is not updated.I am running from pillar to post to get it started.
    I have contcated n - number of Airtel customer executive on this behalf, but no result.
    It is really pathetic that the customer is harassed .Today without mobile you are cut off from the rest of the world.

    If someone tell me to rate about the service to customer I will rate it poor.

    AirTel — SHIFTING FROM PREPAID TO POSTPAID

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am using Airtel Prepaid No. from Jan 2007 onwards([protected]). For the past two months, I received calls from Airtel office regarding the offers and benefits for shifting from Prepaid into Post Paid.

    Finally, I accepted their offer and from Airtel Office, they told that they will send one person, and they asked the papers regarding address proof etc. I had given my ration card copy, bank pass book copy and 1 photo alongwith Rs. 300/- to the executive K.Suresh on 10/12/08 (Wednesday) to ARMS CONNECT and he given a receipt also.

    The receipt shows the Name of the company(Dealer or Subdealer) ARMS CONNECT (ALLIED RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SERVICES (I) PVT.LTD. Address:780 (old No.429), Anna Salai, 3rd Floor, Nandanam, Chennai -35. PH:[protected] AFter 2 days when i contacted to this no. the message is This no.does not exit). My Receipt No. is 523 dt.10/12/08 and the name of the executive K.Suresh.

    They given one NEW SIM pack and told that they will activate this SIM within 2 days.

    The next they contacted me, during my office hours, and i said that i am busy, so could you pl. contact me after some time.

    Then on Sunday (14/12/08), I had checked the new SIM, but it shows Inactive SIM. The next day (15/12/08), I gave a complaint to the Airtel Authorities. They told that they would solve this issue within 19/12/08.

    Then, I verified with the Airtel People on Wednesday (17/12/08) regarding my Complaint. They told that they deactivated my Complaint and took a fresh Complaint and again promised to solve this within 24 hours.

    The very next day (18/12/08) again I contacted them, but now they told to raise a complaint with the nearest Airtel Showroom which was located in Alwarpet Near Boston school. From my office after 6.00 p.m., I went their and discussed with them, but they told that I had paid the amount and gave the papers to a Airtel Subdealer, so I have to contact them only. Therefore from there, I went finally to the ARMS CONNECT office (searching for more than 1 hour) and met Mr.FARUQ and Mr.ANSAR.

    I raised the same complaint with them also, and they given another Land line NO. 24331905 and ANSAR's Mobile No.:[protected] and promised me to solve the entire problem the very next day itself and they asked SORRY for everything.

    The next day (19/12/08), first, they de-activated my OLD SIM, which I used for the past 2 years, when I contacted them, they told that they checked the NEW SIM which they given on 10/12/08, and it shows some technical problem and they want to give another SIM.

    Today (20/12/08), they contacted me (ANSAR) and told that they will send one person alongwith another NEW SIM, and I have to give one more proof and finally the executive (Vinod Kumar) came to my office and collected xerox copy of Passport from me and given one NEW SIM. (I am unable to give my Complaint No., since I had noted the no. on the SIM pack, which they collected today from me)

    However, this time also, it shows INACTIVE SIM. Again, I contacted ANSAR, he said that within 1 hour he will activate that SIM.

    Until now, the NEW SIM also not yet activated and they deactivated my OLD SIM also from 19/12/08 afternoon onwards.

    The only Mistake that I did was, that I decided to change from Prepaid to Post paid.

    Now, I do not want any Post paid connections, I am requesting you to activate my OLD SIM[protected].

    Airtel India(Postpaid sim) — Yet not get return my documents

    I have submitted my driving license and rent agreement paper and also on demand on pick-up boy i gave Rs 350/- as registration fee. but due to some problem my verification was negative.
    Sales people promiss me to return my document along with Rs 350/- from 1 month each and everyday i request to return my document and money but yet i did not get bot.
    I am fearing that may be my document used for other task.

    i had 3 life time pre-paid connections. airtel has called and offered post-paid connections and i think it may suit me and therefore i hv opted for migration. out of 3 connections, only 2 hs been activated, inspite of mails and phone calls to customer care, it has nt been activated. the exe who came our door step has nt picked the mobile for past one week. since due to this very poor service i hv sent a mail stating that i dont want to continue.

    they hv asked 2 weeks time to reply my complaint for the delay in activation. but even after 25days there is no reply, which clearly shows there inefficiency and poor service. they hv disconnected all the 3 connections and nt refunded rs.899 which i paid for life time prepaid connections neither the balance amout available with the prepaid connections.

    BEWARE OF AIRTEL!!!
    Airtel is cheating customers money in many ways, there is no assurance for neither service nor the money which we pay for the service.

    instead of doing such fradulent activities, it may close down the show or go to the street and beg to people for meeting its requirements like salary, etc.

    if the exe in airtel cannot work in a profession manner, they hv to hang in the rope instead of giving trouble to customers and giving mental harrasement.

    Even for escalations, there is no response in airtel, which is very pity. they are doing business like a monopoly market. their service is very below than the par.

    As I am transferring from chennai to bangalore, I do not want to take my mobile there and I want to leave it here with my friend. Already for the past one month I was telling to custercare about this, but none action taken. So, please kindly change from postpaid to prepaid.

    Airtel Postpaid Connection — Pre Paid to Postpaid conversion has taken more than 1 1/2 month

    I have been using a AIRTEL PrePaid connection ([protected]). I wanted it to be converted it into PostPaid, I have applied it through our Company's AIRTEL executive. He has taken 500/- for the connection and 100/- for SIM and did not give any receipt., took all the details from me. some how after 20 days a person has come for verification and confirmed that the verification is done.

    Even after the verification, i waited for more than weekto get my card activated, when i called back to an executive in AIRTEL she said that verification has failed because of bachellor accomdation fee (500/-) has to be submitted (which i was never told before), it seems the rules have been changed. Ok fine I agreed to pay the amount, i went to Krishna Nagar AIRTEL office to pay the amount, to my astonishment, the executives in the AIRTEL office said, as my number is PrePaid he will not be able to collect the amount towards Bachellor accomdation.

    I called the Customer Care, she said it will be done, but I never find it done till now . This delay is too horrible .

    This is basant residing delhi and had heen using Airtel (postpaid)mobile no near about last 2 and 1/2 yrs. i was trying to convert my no postpaid into prepaid . i have visited Airtel outlets 30 times out of Aug 2008
    to jan 2009. but no body responded properly. some time they asked me today we can't do this thing, some times it takes times 1 month and many more reasons they had for not to do this thing. in-between
    i requst to customer care but same way they were responded me.

    there was 25 dec 2008 i called to customer care and assure me manage ur documents we sending excutive at ur home address to collect doc and ur problem would be solve within 7 days. as usual no boby come to collect documents again i called customer care after 15 days an excutive came at my
    home collect documents and for this i have paid Rs. 40/-

    i have service request nos as well as cash receipt of Rs.

    Remember one this time th bill amt Rs.342/.

    Now Airtel send me notice to pay oststanding amt which is Rs.1800/-

    I am requesting what should be fair.

    AirTel — Airtel Postpaid to prepaid

    SirMadam I got a call from Airtel customer care agency saying that your mobile usage is to low so why don't you convert your postpaid in to prepaid .On that I agreed an they sent a agent on 2369 to my place for the documents which i handed over to him with the cash amount of RS 173 in which 128 was unbilled amount an 45 for the talk time he gave me e receipt for it an the receipt number is A1 1237447 .after 3 or 4 days the phone service was started but after 15 -20 days later the phone become incoming that time I was in Pune when I return from pune on 22 I went to airtel gallery in mira road an place a complain for the same .the agent named Akshay told me that the phone will start in 2 days that is by Friday.but when the phone did not start up on Friday I went back to him on Saturday for the same when asked about the problem he told me that I have to summit the form again which I did on the same day an the form no is 4200393 .He told me that it will start within 48 working hours that is by Wednesday.when the phone did not start on Wednesday I went back to him an he told me that the software from which they get the Activation date is down from monday an due to which they were not able to process the form an the form is still with them an they will do it tomorrow .An now when I went today he told me that the software is still down. An when I told him that now even there is no signal in the card he told me that the card has been PD (Perment deleted) On this he gave me the form back an said that nothing can be done .Sir/ madam You say Where is my fault in it .It is the problem of your airtel costumer care for which I have to suffer .Sir it is my 5-6 year old card an in every important document it has been given .Sir/madam pls help me in this .I will be really great full to you'll .Sir/Madam it is not my fault so pls help me I have done what airtel have said now pls You help me.My cell number was [protected]

    Airtel Postpaid service — changing from post paid to prepaid

    I have enquired about converting my postpaid service to prepaid through internet directly the area manager, and has given suggestions how to proceed.keeping these I consult a local airtel showroom and they asked me to come tommrrow, day after tommorrow and at last they told that there is no scheme to convert to post paid tp prepaid, where as some of my friends got that.

    Hi,

    I have been a postpaid customer of Airtel for 2yrs(appx). My problem started as soon as I tried to get it changed to Prepaid. I called up Airetel helpline and got the details if local Airtel local Relationship offices in South Delhi.

    They directed me to Lajpat Nagar office. I went there around Jan 14 and they told me that Airetel is having problem for changing from Postpaid to Prepaid and I should contact them on after Monday. I went there again on Tuesday and told that they do not have Duplicate SIM and directed me to go to New Friends Colony Office.

    I sent there on Jan 20 only to be told that they are still having problem for duplicate SIM and check on Friday-Jan 22. I again sent on Jan 22 only to be told to come after Jan 26. Otherwise, I should go to their Gurgaon office to have the SIM changed. I taken their helpline number [protected].

    So again I called up on Jan 30 mornings on this number and they confirmed that they had SIM and I could come. I reached their New Friends Colony Office to be told that SIM has been allotted to another customer and I should go to Nehru Place office and they have duplicate SIM.

    I had no choice but reached Nehru Place office, only to be told that they will not change the SIM as they have month end. When I told them whole situation, still they were in no mood to help and just wanted me to come again on Monday. When I told that your New Friends Colony Office only has directed me to come to Nehru Place to have Duplicate SIM, they told me to go back and get the permission from the gentleman, Ravi/Sanjay(Floor Manager).

    Hence, I called [protected] and asked them to connect me to Floor Manager and fortunately Floor Manager told the guy at Nehru Place to change the connection. From this the guy at Nehru Place office got angry and told me that no matter what you will have to come again on Monday for the process.

    In this agument, there was a lady who help me. Even when I was talking to the lady, this guy was telling her to help only on her own risk. I filled up the Airtel Prepaid Enrolment Form and gave the copy of my Election I card, which mentions my address. However, this guy told me that this is not clear and I should give some other proof. I gave him my driving licence, to which he was telling that it is not enough and he will make sure that my application is rejected.

    I then got a photocopy done of driving licence and the lady took the documents after checking the form correctly and asked me to pay for the last amount due. I paid the amount due, Rs 450. The lady asked me to get a Rs 43 Recharge for duplicate SIM. She handed us the duplicate SIM and told us that after the Postpaid is cancelled, we have to use new SIM and call 121 first.

    If it does not happen on Saturday(Jan 30), then you will have to come once again on Monday to have it activated. However, my new Prepaid SIM got activated and I got an SMS on Monday-Feb 1, 2010 confirming that changeover is completed. I was happy that I do not have any problem after a series of visits.

    Then again in the evening at 8pm, I received a call from a landline number,[protected]. This guy threatened me that Airtel will terminate my connection in 2 days if I do not submit all the forms again as they have lost the documents filled me. I told him that I cannot come as it is not my responsibility if they lose the documents and I cannot come on weekday. I asked him to connect me to his superior and he blasted me saying that he is not obliged to so and his office is closed and he cannot talk more. I asked him to give me an interaction number or case number so that I can call Airtel and speak on the same, he told me that they do not have any interaction id or case id. He just hung up the phone.

    In late night, I again called 121 and spoke with a guy named Manjinder and told the whole thing mentioned above. He told that he cannot help me as Ariretl system is under upgradation. I asked him to give me an interaction number or case number so that I can call Airtel, he told that he cannot give the same due to this reason.

    Now, I do not know what is happening?????????

    Will anyone from Airtel call me and explain. My number is [protected] as of now.

    Airtel — Shifting from postpaid to prepaid

    Dear Sir

    This complain is regarding interchanging of service from Postpaid to Prepaid. As i just want to convert from Postpaid to Prepaid & continously i am visiting to AIRTEL outlet to change & from last 1 month they are telling the same thing that prepaid sim is not available with us & just in this regard i had a lots of word from customercare, regarding this & in one of my # [protected] plan has been terminated on 24/feb & without my permission they have continued same bill plan & after that i had a word with customer care they told that you have to pay this whole bill & till date i have not paid the bill & it has been clearly told to them that i am not going to pay monthly bill plan amt, late fees, surcharges, taxes & i'll pay only the usage amt & service will be same levied as it was running till i get the new prepaid sim.

    Pls advise by when prepaid sim (in case of change from postpaid to prepaid )
    will be available in faridabad.

    I HAVE APPLIED FOR CONVERSION OF MY PREPAID NUMBER TO POSTPAID OF AIRTEL SERVICE AT THE TIME OF THEIR DOOR TO DOOR MARKETING CAMPAIGN AND PAID THE ADVANCE FOR THE SAME ON 14/04/2010. THE EXECUTIVES WERE FROM PAGEPOINT SERVICES. THOUGH I DAILY REMINDED THEM FROM 22/04/2010 TO 08/05/2010 AND CONVERSED WITH THE OFFICERS OF AIRTEL AS WELL AS PAGEPOINT THEY HAD NOT PERFORMED THEIR DUTIES TO TRANSFER THE CONNECTION FROM PREPAID TO POSTPAID SO.I DECIDED TO CANCEL MY CARD ON 09/05/2010. FROM 22/04/2010 I M REGULARLY IN CONTACT WITH SOME OFFICERS REQUESTING THEM TO START THE SERVICE OR REFUND MY MONEY NONE OF THE OFFICERS ARE REPLYING ME SATISFACTORILY.     I was an airtel prepaid customer. I converted it to postpaid and wanted to shift back to prepaid. I have contacted Airtel and the response was we need to use postpaid connection for a minimum period before converting back.( As far as the employee who made this prepaid to postpaid conversion, I can convert without this constraints. I have contacted 121, and first they said that it will take 3 months, after 3 months I have contacted and they said it will be 6 months( I have mails from 121, specifying these dates).

    Okay around 2 year is over and I want to convert back it to prepaid and contacted Airtel office at Pattom, Trivandrum. They said it will take 24 hrs to make conversion and I paid the full amount on Sep11 and applied for that. There was no response. I have contacted them and made this kind o[censored]nbilled payment 2 more times, and last time I told the Customer care that I wont pay any bills further if they treat in the same manner. Then they acted and canceled my Postpaid connection(On Oct11) and the migration to Prepaid is not happened yet(I am getting sms in my mobile but not able to make/recieve call).

    If anyone try to make a call to my mobile, it will go into voice mail box and the caller will loose their money.

    My simple question is as a reputed Telecommunication company, why Airtel is making these kind of cheap fraud with their customers?

    I am planning to shift to Airtel from Vodafone(using since 5 Years). Recently I bought new airtel postpaid corporate sim(iGATE). I choosed number [protected]. But assosciate promised me that number will be alloted to me. But after activation some other number is been activated(9740...). I need my choosed number to be activated. Otherwise I move back to Vodafone. Please take necessary action.

    Airtel Prepaid — Privacy

    I am using the mobile number [protected] and all the call/sms details are hacked by some one.I guess this person is having a friend/relative either in in the customer care or an airtel outlet from whom the information is leaking.

    My family is getting calls from this person and hence it has become a unavoidable pain for me from the last 2 years. I tried chaaging the number but still the new number (the present number as mentioned above) is still hacked.

    Do i need to officially launch a complaint about this person as well AIRTEL (since Airtel is responsible for provinding the personal information) and SUE? Please advice.

    Airtel — No Transfer of Postpaid to Prepaid number since more than 1 month

    On 19 March,2011, I submit documents at Air-tel Dealer Office sector 37 Chandigarh to Ms Dimple for the transfer of my Air-tel postpaid number to get converted into pre-paid. My number get disconnected since then. It was told to me that the number will be active on 21 March,2011 by max.But number didn't get active as it was showing SIM registration failed.

    I visited again Airtel Dealer Office sector 37 Chandigarh, at that time Ms Dimple said it will be active in 48 hrs as she need to update the documents.I left for the time promised.

    As still it was showing SIM registration failed, I visited Air-tel Dealer Office sector 37 Chandigarh on 24 March,2011. There I was told to meet Ms Suhani as Ms Dimple had left. Ms Suhani checked the status of my connection and told me that my number is updated as pre-paid in the system but need to change the SIM. I again submitted the document for the SIM change and was told to wait for 24 hrs for new SIM activation. I left for the time promised.

    As still it was showing SIM registration failed, I visited Air-tel Dealer Office sector 37 Chandigarh on 26 March,2011.Again Ms Suhani told me to wait for 24 hrs as documents still not updated in the system. I left the premises.

    As still it was showing SIM registration failed, I visited Air-tel Main Office sector 35 Chandigarh on 2 April,2011. Their executive took my address proof photocopy and said your number will be active in 24 hrs. I again left.

    As still it was showing SIM registration failed, I visited Air-tel Main Office sector 35 Chandigarh on 6 April,2011. Their executive promised me that it was final 24 hrs for activation of your SIM, if still its not active,please call at no. [protected](Mr Amitabh/Jatin) for complaint. I left the premises.

    As still it was showing SIM registration failed, I called at no. [protected] and talked with Mr. Abhishek on 15 April,2011. I again explained everything and after that he did a conference with Ms Suhani that why the number is still not active.     I am here with the complaint of my Airtel number [protected].I have been requesting the airtel team and the relationship center here at my place for migration of my number from postpaid to prepaid since 4 months.The relationship center here starts telling me "we cannot approve your request and they told me to go Vijayawada which is 140kms from my place.I have been mailing the Airtel customer care, they dont read my mails completely as i have clearly mentioned stating the same to them.But their one and only one respective mail is "KINDLY VISIT RELATIONSHIP CENTER FOR YOUR REQUEST".They also start telling me that visit me another relationship center for the same.Even they are aware of how many relationship centers are at each place as they send me the file of the airtel centers every time i write a mail.

    How come they can start telling me to visit another center though they are aware of them.I here by say that there is only one and one Airtel relationship center at our place.I dont know how come this problem gets resolved?.

    I have been using this connection since 2004. Airtel had lost its quality of service in all perspectives. Excessive billing even for the non-usage.Many of my colleagues are even doing the same.

      submitted all the documents on the tym of activation....

      but after few days, i got a call from a personal number....and a girl was talking from the other side...
      she was asking me for the address verification...
      i said ok...
      ask me..
      first question was what is ur name sir..
      i said gauta jain..

      thn the next ques was...whats ur billling address...?
      suddenly at that spot...i got a clue in my mind of an advertisement of jaago grahak jaago...which tells us to not to give our personal details thru fnes nd emails.....these calls and emails can be fake also.....

      and i refused her to provide any info at that tym and told her that i will submit a new fresh copy of my documents in ur office soon....
      after 2 days i found my incoming and outgoing calls service barred.....
      immediately i went in an airtel care and submitted my proofs....

      i was shocked to hear from that so pleased lady customer care executive tht...Sir.., ur number is permanentaly disconnected....pls help

      I have taken one Airtel Prepaid Number in the month of Jan 2010, but after 3 months (April) its got disconnected on (04th April 2010), I have taken this Prepaid Number after giving all necessary documents,but now company is saying that I have not submitted the Form. How is it possible, that without proper Form I was using Airtel Number for Three Months. I was also a balance of Rs.450/- in this card but now the company is saying that I will not get this Balance and number is disconnected.

      On 5th Dec 11 (at 16;18 hrs), I received following 'AZ Alert" by SMS (Please note, no such request for documents was received before this date),
      Quote......
      As per Govt. directives we have to discontinue the service to your airtel Mobile as we have not received your Prepaid Enrollment Form at the dealer from where you purchased your airtel Mobile to avoid discontinuation of services.

      Same SMS was again received on 6th Dec.
      On 8th Dec as self was busy, My wife went to AIRTELCustomer Office on F.C. Road, Pune, to check what documents needed to be submitted.
      She also mentioned to them that similar SMS was received in 2007 by me and required documents were submitted then. I had also received confirmation of receipt of documents by SMS from AIRTEL on 9th Feb 2007.
      When I went to same office on 9th Dec to submit the required documents, I was told that the person who receives the related documents was sick and absent, hence I could come next day or go to other offices in the city.
      When my wife when to same office on 10th Dec (ie today) to submit the documents she was told that the number has been deleted and was asked to go to their "Karve road office" to check further action/solution.
      At Karve road office I explained the situation to the official who in turn directed to call their customer service centre on 999 from landline provided in their office. I spoke to various call centre operaters and their executive " Anita" for about 30 minutes. They could not explain as to why was the number deleted without giving sufficeint time to submit the documents. When I insisted that since I had the number for many years I must not lose the number, they mentioned that I can get the same number by applying for new Postpaid connection but not prepaid connection, which is quite strange.
      Please note that this number was post-paid many tears ago. Due to some billing problems, when I dicided to cancel the Airtel connection, I was told that under a new offer, I could keep the number as Prepaid with lifetime incoming free. I agreed to this plan and since then have this number under Prepaid plan ( I do not remember the year this happened).
      Please note that recharge for Rs 500 was done on 23rd Nov and most of which was balance when this number was disconnected.


      Wish to highlight following:
      1. No notice to submit the documents was received before the above mentioned SMS dated 5th and 6th.
      2. I feel that sufficient time was was not provided to submit documents.
      3. AIRTEL office on F.C. Road did not mention the urgency of submitting the documents.
      4. My mobile number of many years and lot of balance is disconnected for no fault of mine.
      5. It is possible to have same number by applying for new connection for Postpaid service onlt and not Prepaid!!!

      Please advise further action to enable retain my mobile number with the remaining balance.

      Internet plan money of Rs 749/- was accepted on 16 Jul 2013 though net banking and disconnected 4 days. On contacting the reason given as disuse. The sim was used primarily for data on my ipad. Now they do not want to refund the amount as the number is permanently deactivated by them.

          This is to bring to your notice that my landline connection [protected] is not receiving dial tone since 18.09.2010.I had complained to [protected](complaint no[protected] in 18.09.2010 and it was assured that 19th being Sunday the problem will be rectified on 20th by 12 noon.As no action was taken then again we launched a complaint on 20.09.2010, it was informed that in the customer care computer, problem was mentioned as resolved BUT SADLY NO ONE VISITED NOR THE DIAL TONE WAS RESTORED.Again the customer care executive noted the problem(Complaint no[protected] and assured that by today evening the problem would be resolved.

          Repeated reminders to the customer care has nor evoked any response as they are not able to understand the problem.Nor the customer care executive connect to higher officials.It is a new connection and the problem has started after about ten days itself.

          Kindly do the needful so that the dial tone is restored.

            I called the number [protected] on 13th Sep '2010 and booked my order for a MEGA PLAN with a parent and one child connection. I was put through a payment gateway and I made a payment of Rs 3380 from my HSBC credit card. The order was confirmed by the executive and a transaction Id was provided to me which is : 10790047. He confirmed that payment of Rs 3380 has ben debited and also confimed that the connection will be installed at my home address within 72 hours. It is 22nd Sep today and as of date I have not heard back from Airtel. Its been 9 days today and there is no revert. I have fanatically been calling Airtel DTH customer care center and I am just being transferred between executives without any satisfactory response. I have contacted their nodal office as well but there is no revert. All they have to say is that we have marked an email and soon you will get a revert. After 20 repeated calls within the last week , they provided me with a compalint number which is : 3899532. I kept following up on this complaint number through their email id but there was is response at all. After taking the money and repeated complaints no body has even bothered to give a call back and look into the matter.
            Paid for connections but installation still pending and there i sno revert at all from the company


            I have already paid the amount of Rs 999/- through my HDFC Credit card, the payement details is 13792 TPIVR on 18th sep. He confirmed that payment of Rs 999/- has ben debited and also confimed that the connection will be installed at my home address within 72 hours. After taking the money and repeated complaints no body has even bothered to give a call back and look into the matter.

              Dear Sir,

              We bought your AIRTEL Digital TV set top box and entire antenna and accompanying equipments on 29th of September last year from M/s SHAH and Co., Chromepet outfit, Chennai. A fortnight ago, the set top box failed to function. After our repeated attempts and follow up of complaints registered with your toll free number, your representative or employee came in to see only today, that even, did not replace at all. They are quite arrogant and refused to reply properly to our enquiries. At last they tried to fix a very old, dilapidated and not in good condition, smaller box, which is incorrect. They mis handled the new one also, which we purchased.

              When the warranty is on, how can they replace with a oldest, dirty looking, smaller outdated version, was our repeated question, which was confronted with a very rude and discourteous reply from those service personnel. They told us to contact their team lead one Mr. Senthil by Mobile No.[protected]. His reply was much more arrogant, asking me to do whatever I can.

              This is not the way a genuine customer can be slapped with, for all the trust and confidence with which we have gone in for your DTH Digital TV.

              Request please look into this immediately as any more drag will only entail lapse of time to warranty. Kindly arrange to replace the set top box with a new one, which only you are to do with a moral conscience.

                THIS IS NOT A COMPLAIN BUT NEEDS HELP. I RECENTLY PURCHASED AIRTEL DTH HD VERSION SINCE I WAS HAVE A SAMSUNG LCD MONITOR (SYNCMASTER 2233sw) WHICH SUPPORTS FULL HD (1920X1080). MY MONITOR RUNS FULL HD WITH DVI CABLES OF COMPUTER GRAPHICS CARD.

                I CONNECTED THE AIRTEL DTH HD WITH A HDMI -> DVI CABLE TO SAMSUNG MONITOR (AIRTEL PROVIDED HDMI TO HDMI).

                PROBLEM IS THAT THE PICTURES COME FOR 15-20 SECS WITH RESOLUTION 1920X1079 SENT BY DTH, AND SINCE IT IS NOT MATCHING 1920X1080, THE SCREENS GETS BLANKS AND SCREEN SAVER POPS OUT SHOWING OPTIMISE RESOLUTION NOT AVAILABLE. TO GET BACK I HAVE TO SWITCH ON OFF THE LCD AND THEN THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER 15-20 SECS. I HAVE TRIED ALL POSSIBLE SETTINGS OF LCD AND DTH BUT ALL IN VAIN.

                  i am Facing Problem regarding the security and other refunds for the last one year. The Problem is I had disconnected Airtel Telephone No.[protected]which is STD Coin Collection Box) on July 2009 and deposited the instrument in the local airtel contace center. After That i have submitted request for refund of security deposit and instrument cost and the total being 1700 i.e 500+1200 deposited by me in the first six months bills in the local contact center. Every time i have visited the contact center they told me that your request is in process wait for some time and this process take more than one year. After that they told me to Issue a new telephone connection and the refund amount shall be transfered to that number and for the last four months i am using the airtel landline number[protected] but no refunds amount is
                  transferred to that account number till date. This shows that the Local Airtel Contact Center i.e PNS TELECOM AMBEDKAR CHOWK KARNAL makes Fool of me as
                  well as by fraudlent activities by telling a lie, because Either the amount shall not be transferred to my another airtel number nor the amount is refunded by them till the
                  date because it takes more than one year.Mr.Gagan is the person dealing with me for the last one year regarding this complaint,many times i have visited there for the resolution but they told me that i have forwarded this complaint to airtel . Several times i have lodged the complaint in the customer care but no positive response is received from them.Following are the Request Number for the complaint which i had filed in the airtel customer care:

I have complained to the service provider on 19 Aug 2010. The service request no. is 33631416. They said they will get back to me on 31 Aug 2010. They did get back to me only to say that this no. belongs to the other service provider & they have informed them. By saying that Airtel people have washed off their hands.

                      Airtel sent to me a code for free gift, when i checked the details they want Rs 150 as courier charges..the watch and the googles they seem to offer is not worth Rs 100....If they announce as free everything should be free this is not fair......Corier charges should be borne by the sender.....Nowadays they charge for the free number 121 if we talk to the customer care executive.....These are restrictive practices...TRAI should object to all these activities of aIRTEL COMPANY....aLSO in foreign countries they charge less for broadband width....Airtel increased or doubled and announced as free but shelved all the schenmes Rs699 and Rs599 and forced us to change over to 799 scheme for 512kbps How this can be fair practice?
                      Al;so keeping the same equipment and adding a few incurring less cost they charge the customers heavily...
                      Sometimes in the prepaid accounts they go on deductind money without our knowledge.How to trust these private piracy? TRAi shopuld intervene and not be silent spectator.

                      Yes! they charge 150 for the courier and the calls made to the 121 customer care number is being charged 0.50paise per minute. TRAI should step into this 121 call charges issue and do the needful so that calls made to the AirTel Customer care is not billed.

                      Come on, i dont think airtel would be making a huge lot of money by charging 50paise for 3 minutes. this is just a filtering mechanism to avoid unnecessary support calls. Earlier, one had to wait for 5-10 minutes to get to speak to a customer operator. All this is now past.
                      Genuine complainers do not mind paying 50paise, if it saves them 10 minutes of their time plus the same 10 minutes of battery can be used to make other important calls.

                      I am not sure about whether the gifts offered by airtel are genuinely for the value they mentioned. however if they use a good courier company then too they would be shelling out atleast 100 bucks for delivery.

                      For the rental of 799 and more. i think they still have best rentals compared to other true boradband players like tata indicom. Obviously we cannot and should not compare airtel with MTNL or BSNL as their customer support is poor or non-existant.
                      I totally agree with the above complaint, FREE means FREE. Just have a look at the quality of the watch and sunglasses they are displaying in the offer. It surely is not worth 150 and I'm sure will not last 150 days. I have opted for the wrist watch. Will let you guys know... how much worth it is ...

                      I did face same issue. I got offer of teo Reebok watches on taking broadband connection in Ganehs festival of 2010. I got gifts after doing followup 2-3 times. And at the time of delievery I ahd to pay charges of 300, which is nothing but the actual cost of watches. Courire charges to be borned by the sender. But here the case is courirer charges as as god as price of watch, which is a duplicate watch. This is really misguiding. and I wnat my 300 Rs back. My landline number is [protected]

                        We the resident of Asifnagar area brings to your kind notice that a Air-Tel Tower was erected at the roof of H.No.12-1-630/3/A in Asifnagar area beside Old Taddy Compound one year back. Many people residing the surrounding area of this house are suffering from different ailments with side effects of above Air Tel Tower. The doctors have also confirmed these side effects when approached for medical treatment. I have shifted my residence in Delhi about 11 months ago & had asked the helpline then (Oct 2009) to disconnect my connection, but Airtel has done nothing on that .                                   in response to my earlier complaint on 19/09/2010 i am very happy that my complaint is given attention and is resolved to day. at the same time i am sorry to say that to day i have recieved another sms on my mobile no [protected] that i have subscribed for i have used "bollysubcription" and rs 10/- was deducted from my balance. the same was not used by me. i am astonished to receive such an sms. please look into the matter and arrange to reverse the entry. also see that such unauthorised entries does not take place.

IN FACT I DO NOT HOW TO USE INTERNET SEVICE OVER THE MOBILE THOUGH MY MOBILE IS COMPATIBLE. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO "AIRTEL" AND QUITE SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES TILL THESE TWO INCIDENTS.                                   hi i am unable to speak to airtel customer care exwcutive. everytime i dial 121 198 it takes me to the automated voice. yesday airtel deducted 99 for a website i dmo not wish to ever subscribe. pl.help
                                  I recharged Rs.100/- for my airtel prepaid mobile number +91 [protected] on 06.01.2013. As the balance was NIL again I recharged for Rs.100/- on 15.01.2013. Even in that money was being deducted. Customer care officers are telling that I have subscibed for something. But I dont agree with them. Last time also in the same way money was deducted and again given re-credit. This time they are refusing to give re-credit. In my opinion this is as good as cheating the public.

                                  My question is
                                  1.Tomorrow If Bankers deducts some Crores from airtel bank account and say that airtel has subscribed to something / donated to some institution, what airtel will do?. Will they sacrifice that amount. Today Airtel is cheating. Tomorrow If Bankers cheats in the same way?

                                  2. Is it not illegal? deducting money when we have not subscribed for anything.

                                  3. Why even for making complaint, you are charging 50 paise for three minutes.

                                  4. Why we Indians should trust you?

                                      [protected] aire tel prepaid connection, during last 15 days they have deduced more than rs 20 un-necessarily rs 1 every day, we register complaint under complain# cbdpp[protected], but we have not received any creadit, please request them to credit urngelty

                                        sir i am irritated by bulk sms of Td-gulzar and other td sms my mob no is [protected] so pls pls stop this irritation i shall be highly thankful to u.
                                        Airtel is really worst...I have asked them to activate my number in DND on 30th April'11 and still not been done...
                                        Very irritated by all bulk messages and promotional SMS...can anyone help me in this regard...?
                                        This has to bring to some official notice...Airtel sucks...
