HI,

The professional couriers have not delivered the parcel, tracking number BLR20141019, sent on the 2 nd.
We were told it would be delivered on the 3rd.

The Professional courier website for the tracking does not work either.
Unable to track the parcel until tomorrow.

I HAD SUBMITTED MY DRAFTS WHICH WERE TO BE COURIERD TO ALLAHABAD MNNIT COLLEGE ON 2 ND OF JANUARY . THEY PROMISED ME THE DELIVERY OF MY CONSIGNMENT IN 48 HOURS. I HAD SUBMITTED MY COURIER TO THE PROFESSIONAL COURIERS, INDRANAGAR, BANGALORE.TELEPHONE No.[protected]. AS IT WAS DELAYED . I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM, AND IN RESULT THEY TELL ME IT WILL TAKE 4 DAYS. AFTER CALLING THEM UP MANY TIMES THEY FAILED TO CONFIRM MY COURIER STATUS. EVEN THE PHONE No. PROVIDED WITH FAILED TO RESPOND. EVEN THE CUSTOMER CARE No. TURNED OUT TO BE FALSE.

I was send a courier from Trivandrum Office in Kerala to Mavelikara Office in Kerala of the Professional courier company on 23rd Decmber, 2008. The ref no. given to us is 525286 dtd. 23/12/2008 which they say has been sent by manifest no.556113. On enquiry from Trivandrum office, the recepient office - Mavelikara has informed the receipt of the document on 24th ie., the very next day. I went to the Mavelikara office to enquire about the same on the 27th and I was informed that there is no document in my name in their office. Today it is 29th ie, a full week after the despatch and still now I have not received it.
Sending a document by courier is done to speed up the delivery safely. When I wanted to talk to the Manager of the Firm, I was denied the facility.
It is very pitiable to have such a very bad behaviour, and so I want to get a punitive action in this matter and to rectify the procedure so that people can get justice.
I submit this in the hope that I will be given advice on the legal steps that I should take to bring the wrong doers to light.

dear sir,
im dr. jitendra kumar dispatched a courier containing important documents on 22nd dec 2008. from sullia karnataka( india), to mohhammed chunawala, 7 M.G. road, wonderland building pune, maharastara (india).courier no is187486. it has been not received yet, no satisfactory response is given in the office while confirmation regarding non delivery of courier. i want delivery of that courier as early as possible or i have to take rigid actions, inform me soon.

A parcel containing sweets was sent through Professional courier from Mumbai to be delivered to Trivandrum Infosys.
By the time parcel reached the intended, most of the items were missing.
It was basically an assortment of costly sweets and somebody has teared the cover and taken the major chunk of it.Icalled up the courier office and their response was it could have happened while loading the parcel into aeroplane and taht they cant do anything about it.

And on 4th also i didn't receive it. I got relieved from pattambi on 4th.Afterwards i enquired at Pattambi . Worst thing is that they dont have any Proper Website for tracking, and their customer care never respond properly

They should change its Name to UnProfessional Courier Service

It is with utter shock, frustration and dissatisfaction that I am bringing the following issue to the notice of those concerned.

I had availed the services of Professional Couriers to send some important documents to Delhi on 10.12.08. (Consignment No : 5985310) . The consignment was dispatched from Valayakada, Chirayinkeezhu, Trivandrum Dist, Kerala. At the time of handing over the documents I had specifically enquired the time frame required for the delivery as the documents were really important, and I was assured by the staff that the article will be delivered on 12.12.08.

I gave it 2 more days time and tried contacting the office on 15.10.08 to ensure delivery. My ordeal with Professional Couriers starts then. No one would answer the telephone at the office and I then call up the Trivandrum office by acquiring the number from yellow pages (Ph 2339738). The office tells me that they have no record of such a transaction and they gave me another number for their Attingal office (Ph : 2626136) asking me to contact them. On calling the Attingal office, I am informed that they also have no clue about the consignment and that I should be contacting the office from where I had originally sent the courier. On informing them of a non responsive telephone, they give me a mobile no. to call up (Ph : [protected]). The person who answered the mobile said that he needs to get to office to know the details of the consignment. On calling up at the said time, I am informed that the consignment has still not reached as Delhi is not an easily accessible location ???. I was asked to call on 17.12.08 for further update.

As asked, I call up again today (17.12.08) and I am informed that Delhi consignments take about 10 days for delivery and that I should speak to their manager at the Trivandrum Office and was given his number. The manager’s name was given as Mr. Ramesh and his contact no is 2339567.

On enquiring with Mr. Ramesh as to why it was not informed about the delay in Delhi delivery when it was specifically asked, the person rudely remarks that the office where the consignment was taken is just a franchise and that he is not responsible for their actions. He just refused to discuss the matter and slammed the phone yelling ‘ You Shut Up Your Mouth’

I should say I am stunned by this horrifying behavior by a manager of an multinational company. It really surprises me that a person with such galling manners without the basic idea of customer service assumes a managerial position with a company which has a nationwide presence. His behavior, I must say, is totally unfit for a company like yours and these types of employees with out a minimum level of etiquette and manners will definitely slander your firm’s reputation. I hope the matter will be considered while recruiting new employees for your company.


I was shocked by the number of similar cases listed against Professional Couriers on the internet and more than a dozen of them posted just for the month of December. This can only mean one thing that Unprofessionalism is becoming the trademark of Professional Couriers and that the company has not been taking any action in terms of corrective behavior. Maybe that is one of the reasons why Professional Couriers website does not even have a link for ‘Customer Complaints / Redressel’.

May I hope that the matter will be taken up seriously and investigated and that measures will be employed so that the concerned manager does extend a similar behavior to another customer.

Also may I know when will my consignment reach its intended destination ?

this is with regard to a consignmant booked from chennai on 10 th december 2008 pod number[protected].Its not delivered till 15/12/08.whwn enquired the response is not good and they say its returned to the orginating destination.This is not the first time i am getting this response, its the third time, the delivery service of professional courier in kerala, cochin particularly is pathetic.

There was a courier was addressed to me(Chennai).
The address specified was correct and it is an official address and I had received my couriers in the same address earlier.But on that specific date, it was an urgent document(which I was supposed to submit the same day), but I did not receive it even after 2 days.(I wasssss trusting and Preferring PROFESSIONAL to other couriers for safe and speedy delivery)

A parcel with some important documents was sent to my residence address in Neyyattinkara, Trivandrum dist, kerala from Tellichery, kannur dist, kerala on 5-11-08. The sender telephoned me the matter and when i went to the professional courier office in Neyyattinkara on 7-11-08 to inquire whether the parcel had reached, I had to face with some indecent behavior from a lady employee in the reception chair of your Neyyattinkara office. She replied to my humble inquiry of the parcel with anger and annoyance as if i had asked something wrong. It was really shocking and was a personal insult to me. She said that if the parcel had come, then they will telephone you and then only i should come.(I have got about 10 parcels from Neyyattinkara Branch in the past and none of them was informed by phone.I received them all only after inquiring in your office.I don't know whether inquiring about the status of parcel is illegal for professional courier). Her behavior is, i must say, totally unfit for a multinational company like yours. These type of employees with out a minimum level of etiquette and personality will definitely slander your firms reputation. The employee, especially the receptionists, must be customer friendly. Then only the unparalleled service your company is offering, become complete . I wrote this complaint only to inform you about some small but damaging faults in root level activities of your company. I hope the matter will be considered while recruiting new employees for your company.

I V. Nageswara Rao working with Tegra premedia. I sent a courier tracking No. 8120638 to name of N. Chandrashekar, Margadarsi Chitfund Ltd., Gudivada branch on 24th October 2008. It has to be deliver 25th October without fail. I used Musheerabad (HYD) branch for sent that parcel. My parcel contained one Top-priority material and it has to be reach 26th October without fail. Unfortunately my parcel was not deliver till 28th October. For their irresponsible services, I lost worth of Rs. 20, 300/- only because of negligence.

Hence, I would like to know who will be fill my lost amount. If I want to put the case in consumer forum, Please let me know the process.

i sent a parcel to a friend in canada who was getting married. it clearly had a fancy pouch with a pair of earrings and a pendant(both were not made of gold, but were premiumly priced). the courier took more than 10 days to reach its destination. in the mean while the professional courier guys give me an isd tel no, to track the courier down in canada. how ridiculuos is that? on hearing that the courier's been reached i was quite happy.but then the pendant seemed missing. on trying to gather more info, the the parcel was neatly cut open and masked back so no one could make out. i had neatly bubble wrapped the whole thing and stuck enough of tape around it, inspite of all this, a little thing like a pendant went missing. why cant this courier service be strict with its employees. quite a sad service. i would really love to curse the individual who stole it. what goes around really comes around is all i can say!!.

I have sent the accor food coupon worth Rs 3000 i.e. two booklet each of Rs. 1500



This parcel delivered to destination address on 4th, and on delivery of the courier it was found that one of the booklet (worth Rs. 1500) is missing. Also, from the envelop we were able to make out that someone has opened the envelop.

Since I have sent the courier through Professional Courier they should have taken the responsibility to deliver the courier without tampering the envelop. But in this case not only my courier was tampered but also one of my food coupon booklet was stolen.

I have a corier(Consignment No-BLR3060207
) from BTM LayOut to CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore. It is already 5 days past but there is no track of the

courier. When I have asking their customer care number either they are giving some other number to contact

or saying I am checking it and inform you withing 10 minutes. after that I am am not getting any response

from them.

my mother sent me a parcel from professional couriers on 19th september 2008 and they said that this courier will be received within 4 days and its almost 14 days...i didnt received my parcel.i called up the professional couriers Jabalpur and they said that they will going to call me back with the status but they didnt called me up.i complaint about my parcel and they called up the chennai prof.couriers and made a complaint...and chennai people called me up regarding my parcel and they said that your parcel is lost between chennai to bangalore..and till the date i didnt received my parcel and i was having very important things in my parcel...this is highly unacceptable and i dont think they will understand...

DAMAGE OF COSTLY MATERIAL (AN 21 INCH ONIDA COLOR TELEVISION AND MANY OTHER LUGGAGES)--
I BOOKED A CONSIGNMENT CHARGING COUPLE OF THOUSAND RUPEES FROM BANGALORE PROFESSIONAL COURIER (J.C. NAGAR) BRANCH TO PUNE.
The consignment details are as follows-

consignment no. is BLR12549186.
consignment booking date- 14/03/08.

I booked my luggages on 14th march from Bangalore (J.C. Nagar branch) to Pune. There was a 21 Inch Onida flat Screen color Television and many other household materials. I asked Mr. Murthy (the manager of J.C. Nagar courier branch) to handle the parcels with care. He ensured he would take good care of the packets.

But when I received the parcel, the cartoons were all torn and the television was damaged. I asked him to stick notes with "handle with care" which was also not found. There were damages in other materials also for which I have not claimed. All the parcels were received in bad shapes. Moreover, . the parcels did not reach Pune on the predecided date for which also I have had lots of problem. This reflects a very bad service from the courier service.

I did not receive and returned the parcel containing the Television and also sent a complaint letter to Mr. Murthy on 26th march along with the Bills where the delivery man has noted his statement mentioning the damage.

But I have not received any communication from anybody yet. Whenever I call Mr. Murthy, most of the times he does not pick up the calls, sometimes someone else picks up and speaks in Kanadda which I cant understand. ths is just to avoid the responsibility. Then he told the packet was not packed properly but his executives only packed the Television in my house and took the parcels. Then he asked me to take pictures and send it to him which I have not doone yet. I am wholly confused about the whole thing and running in circles. I even talked with Mr. Umesh (the Complaint department manager) but he is also not processing the claim faster way. HE HAS STOPPED TAKING MY CALLS NOW.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME IN GETTING MY CLAIM PROCESS OR TEACH THEM A LESSON.

THIS IS VERY BAD SERVICE. READERS PLEASE PLEASE DONT BOOK YOUR LUGGAGES THROUGH THIS COURIER SERVICE. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY WILL BANKRUPT YOU. ANY COMMENTS WELCOME.

mail delay by courier company great problems faced by army personal courier company at mhow indore was given a private mail to be delivered at jalandhar for an urgent task related to army personal mail was registered at mhow on12sep 08 it was assured to be delivered at jalandhar in 24 to 48 hours but the company delayed it giving fake reasonsit was finally delivered on 18sep 08 but the loss had already created problem for the same the courier company kept on fooling me about the mail strict action desired for the company seek compensation

Vide consignment no.SBD/KPT-23088 I had booked a letter containing a rail ticket(booked under Tatkal Service (3AC costing Rs.919.00 for journey from Coimbatore to Chennai by trian no.2674 departure time being 10.20 pm/19.9.08) on 14th Sept-08 through THE PROFESSI9ONAL COURIERS, KORAPUT 764020, ORISSA for delivery to addressee at Coimbatore. While booking I was specifically told by one Mr Sunil of this service provideR that the shall be delivered by 18th or latest by 19th Sept, 08. As it did not reach as of this moment I enquired and learnt from the Chennai & Coimbatore Offices that the same did not reach them till this moment. Eagerly I enquired at booking place i.e. Koraput and to my utter surprise none of the service prioviders of Professional Clouriers (Koraput/Chennai/Coimbatore) are cooperating and simply lifting their hands; leaving the matter to air.
The letters sent through Postal Deptt. are reaching Coimbatore from my place of stay i, .e, . Damanjodi-763008, Orissa on 6th day of booking including Sunday; whereas the letter booked through Professional Couriers did not reach till the moment and nobody is bothered to the enquiry and is able to tell whereabouts of same.
Due to such irresponsible & careless dealing by the courier in question has not only DEFEATED THE BASIC PURPOSE OF RESORTING TO SEND THR'COURIER; NEGATION OF AIMED TRAIN JOURNEYMADE ME TO SUFFER FINANCIAL LOSS OF RS.1000, MENTAL STRAIN & SGTRESS.
Shall request for suitable action for suitable compensation and action against the careless/callous service provided by Professional Couriers; so that people like me do not suffer and such situation does not repeat.
