[Resolved] Reader's Digest — Renewal of Suscription + 3 gifts | |
Dear Sir, I have applied for renewal of my subscription through the offer made by Reader's Digest in december, 2008, Through their offer at 42% discount by paying Rs.379/- only (THE CHEQUE WAS DRAWN FROM MY SON'S ACCOUNT -PRADEEP KUMAR JAIN).I have twice called at their office on 5th of this month (Feb, 2009)at NOIDA, they promised to reply within 72 hours but it is almost 14 days passed and since than i have received no reply at all. This is the example of their poor service. Is paying in advance results like this?. 40 years and counting. my wife and i are also dispointed in Readers digest. we receive two many mailings to pay our account then after paying get another offer at a lower price. also tryed 3 gift awiting for you and come into this site to see so many complaints is not good for RAD. WILL SEND MY COMPLAINTS DIRECTLY TO READERS DIGEST

I should have learned this a long time ago: no one gives anyone something for nothing. Loking at all the others RD has scammed, I won't fall for this scam again. Editors of RD - SHAME ON YOU! Who do you think you are: ENRON. AIG. BAC and the list goes on

i agree to all complaints that was sent . i am a readers digest subscriber for over fourty years and renew subscription to all my to sons and my neice and friend .i am very up set of this false represtation of these free gifts waiting for me, if able please respond. as i am almost ready to cancel all my subscription coming next year.

Well I see that I'm not alone when it comes to the "3 FREE GIFTS" rip-off! You would expect more from a company with the reputation of Readers Digest but I guess it goes to prove that once they have your money... screw you! Thanks Readers Digest, you will not get another subscription request from me!
Last July I reorded several years re-subscription from a company called Coastal Marketing - wrote a 36 dollar check - I haven't received any issues of RD now for a really long time ... can u help me out - did I get ripped?
i agree have not been able to claim 3 free gifts as special subscriber gift rewards what has happened to readers digest company reputation??? i even wrote directly to readers digest about the problem and got no answer thru there either what a scam don't care to even see another readers digest book anymore will just throw them into the trash and am certainly never going to subscribe or accept anymore free subscriptions from friends that send them at xmas time like my brother dal gruber does every year

What is this, dont you see the subscribers list, I have paid the amount against the three books parcel. But afterwards no magazine is recieved upto now . How do you manage such a big company. I hope your system itself is faulty.
