[Resolved]  Reader's Digest — 3 free gifts

I recieved a year subscription as a X-mas gift. With my Feb. 2010 I got a card with special thanks! and I could claim my 3 free gifts at www.readersdigest.com/3free. All that was found at this site were dozens of complaints, nothing to sign up or register for. I also am very sadden that this problem seems to be ongoing for months and has not been corrected by Reader's Digest.

No free gifts. I certainly did'nt expect a company like Readers digest to alienate subscribers over such a small matter, that they had promised. Very disappointed.
Hi, my name is Verlon Elaine Tucker and i like everything i read out my readersdigest magazine .Thank You Verlon Elaine Tucker
I never care for any claims for free gifts...Nothing is free. It is just another way
for them to get names of your friends and family. I have sent gift copies in the
past; after the hassel of getting them cancelled and keeping my own account
straight for this magazine; I stopped. They need to stop all this nonsense
and stay true to just the magazine. I will look, but I will not take the bait. I just
want my Book once a month.
I rec.d a card from Readers Digest today saying that I had 3 free gifts and to E-mail www.readersdigest.com/free to claim them. Why do this? If I'm due free gifts, why not send them to me?.
I got this 3 free gift card attached to my magazine. typed in the web site and this is where I landed. No free gifts, no information. I've had a subscription sent as a gift it stoped comming before it needed to be renewed. I now have a 6 year subscription.think I'll write to readers digest and complain.
I got the same "Thank You Card plus supposedly 3 gifts-Where are they?-Is this some kind of joke?
Special subsciber gift rewards, ya right, the only way I can get the 3 free gifts is if I agree to buy 2 or 3 books a month for just $21.98 plus $5.99 shipping. So much for the free gifts.
I got your card with my latest copy of readers digest but it doesn't tell me how to order my 3 free gifts. When I go to www.readersdigest.ca/3gifts it doesn't tell me how to go about ordering my free gifts. HOW DO I DO THAT
I have renewed 2 gift subscriptions and added 1 new gift subscription and feel that I am entitled to the 3 free gifts and would like a little more detail as how to order the 3 free gifts
I am like many of the complainants above--received a card and e-mail address to claim them. I did this and have gotten nothing. It isn't that I am that interested in getting 3 free gifts, but if you offer it why in the world isn't available? I have gotten this card several times, stating free gifts. I agree with all the complainants.

Readers Digest — Web site given does not exist

Received a card for 3 Free Gifts with my January Readers Digest. The site to go into to get them is www.readersdigest.ca/3gifts - does not exist. Another one of Readers Digest "too good to be true" offers?
on a card that you sent me it said 3 free gifts are waiting for you

claim them today at WWW.readers digest.com/3 free

Reader's Digest — Offering 3 FREE gifts is a hoax!!!

I WILL NOT BE RE-NEWING MY SUBSCRIPTION TO READER'S DIGEST, I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL SUBSCRIBER FOR MANY YEARS, THIS 3 FREE GIFTS HOAX ALONG WITH OTHER OFFERS IS WASTING TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE SOME KIND OF ACTION WILL BE TAKEN !!!!!!!!!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME TO A HOUSEHOLD MAGAZINE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR SO LONG, THIS IS TOTTALLY OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A friend subscribed to Reader's Digest for me as a Christmas gift. He was promised 3 Free gifts. When I went on line to clain these gifts for him, all found were complaints. Is anything being done about this??? Something certainly should be done!!!
I was not able to claim my 3 Free Gifts. What happened? Will they become avaliable at another time? I'm sure Readers Digest did'nt run out of gifts.

A concerned consumer.
