Reliance Communications — Unwanted service activation

I started using Reliance GSM connection after 4 months ( After 20 th June,I did not use this service, My number was off ). But as soon as I started using this service on 29th Oct 2011 ( Mob. No. [protected]), I came to know that many services have been activated on my number without my permission or any mode of communication like Caller Tune and Gold Music pack, for which I was charged nearly 55 rs. Then I called customer care and asked to refund my money, they told me it will take 48 hrs. But they did not refund my money and renewed it again and charged 30 more rs. Then I again called their customer care and requested them to transfer my call to their supervisors. My call was put on hold for 10 minutes and then call was disconnected. Earlier the Reliance customer care told me that I was being charged from a long time, even I was not using my Reliance number, They did not ask me for activation of any service and charged me as per following details:

29th Sep 2011 - Caller Tune (1 Rs)
30th Sep 2011 - Caller Tune (30 Rs)
19th Oct 2011 - Gold Music pack (25 Rs)
30th Oct 2011 - Caller Tune Download (5 Rs)
3rd Nov 2011 - Caller Tune (30 Rs)

These details were provided to me by their customer care on 3rd Nov 2011. I don't know weather I was charged for the same in month of JULY and AUGUST 2011.

Earlier when I was using same number in JUNE 2011, there was no such service activated on my number.

I want to ask Reliance communication that my reliance was off then how can I activate these services? Please be ready to refund my money for all these deductions and also be ready if I file a case against Reliance Communication as they are harassing their customers mentally and financially. I have to make complaint again and again.

This is not very first time happening to me, Earlier same issue was with my Reliance number [protected] (Bangalore Circle), Then they refunded my money and assured me that it will never happen again. But same thing is happening to me again on my other number.

Reliance is harassing their customers mentally and financially. A strict action should be taken against Reliance Communication.

Reliance Communication / Mobile — Portability

I Kunal Ashok Mahajani using Reliance CDMA Nos. [protected] opted for portability of the same no. from CDMA service to GSM service. I was filed my whole attested documents along with bill paid copy on 19.10.2011.
Since then I am fool to call customer care every time for the porting status and they told every time that your application is under process. but today only i.e. on 04th November 2011 when I call Nodel Officer at Delhi on his official no. [protected] then I have come to know that my application is rejected because of over due payment. Sir before porting when I have already submitted my dues along with extra amount, and the Company is lingering my porting request almost for 16 days then how the Company blame to me to pay the outstanding amount. For 16 days the Company is dreaming or what. No one inform me about that. Every time myself call to their call center for status update. I really fed up with this Company Now. Sir I am requesting you to take necessary action against the Company for this ACT.

Reliance Communications — reg call charges

Hi Team,
Iam using the mobile number [protected] for more than 1 year, got recharged with Rs.82/- (which reduces the roaming charges and home location call charges to 1p/sec in Oct'11 after confirmation of customer care however am charged with 1.2p/sec. Request to investigate the reason duly reversing the excess charges charged.

Reliance Communications Pvt. Ltd. — Cancellation of my number - 9322853630

Dear Team,

I am holding a Reliance CDMA number - [protected] for past 8 years and I have been now struggling to cancel the number from past 3 months.

I have spoken to many customer executives on the customer care but in vain. The number cancellation has not yet taken place instead a wrong request for converting my post paid into pre paid has been logged.

I have been struggling to cancel my number since August 2011 but the number has still not been cancelled. I was asked to visit the Web world which I did on 29th Oct and there I was connected to an customer service executive again who took my alternate number and assured for a call back which I have again not received till date. I called the customer care again but they have been only asking to visit the Web world. In the meanwhile I have already got an outstanding of Rs. 700 now and again a bill generation is due on 11th November which will make this outstanding into Rs. 900 and these charges are only the rental charges as I have not been using the number.

I am very disappointed the way and the time it takes to cancel a number. I had a GSM reliance number as well for which the request was processed over the phone. But my CDMA number is making me lose my patience.

PLease help me in this regard!!!!

Reliance Communications — baseless ambiguous charging and unsatisfactory complaint processing

Since Last Few months I have been using Reliance GSM connection. I have had a really bad and annoying experience with the company. Firstly, they deduct money from my prepaid balance without any reason or request from my side and this occurs at least once or twice a month. Please note that I am on DO-NOT-Disturb service which I subscribed due to extremely annoying systems of calls and text messages sent by the phone company. Secondly, It is really annoying when u have to call them every now and then regarding some money being deducted from your account, due to the irritating process of reaching the customer care executives. Further, sometimes the experience of talking with them has been unfriendly and irritating. Some times they refund money and sometimes they don't. Some times we don't even realize if they have deducted a small amount like Rs 10.

It seems to me a cheap money making tactic of the local departments of the company or companies since I have heard similar issues with AIRTEL subscribers. I would request you to take necessary action against this type o[censored]nfair practices of the phone companies.

Reliance Communication Ltd GSM — Billing COmplaint.. Bill amount 4 Times Credit Limit

I have been billed Rs 9600.00 Whereas my credit limit is 2100.00. This was to my surprise that i have been billed this much. on seeing billling details i found that i have a high net usage GPRS i have net connect pack of 99.00 which give 2.5 gb date free and then 10p per kb. i must have used beyond limit but my question is i know i am using a service within where has a credit limit which always give us the impression that the bill will not be charged beyound credit limit or the services will be stopped on high usage 10 -15% of excess amount of credited limit can be digested but how can more than 4 times of credit limit.. this is ridiculous. On complaining they are justifying the bill as correct and forcing me to pay full amount or services wil be stopped. Reliance Communications — Mobile GPRS PROBLEM

I m Kapil Nanakwani and using reliance with mobile number [protected]. i had activated 99/- GPRS plan from reliance (4 GB). In spite of having full network coverage in the area, the speed of net is such a low that page opens half an hour to open and in Facebook chats the chats lag behind and are not seen at that time but 5 minutes later..sometimes the GPRS does not connect and connection loses in-between, which is never experienced in other mobile networks. When I called in reliance they did not give proper answers and said that their system was in up-gradation so call after 10 minutes..wen called for the whole day, system was not upgraded and i have to loose much time just connecting for the Internet. Such an irritating service by Reliance Mobile GPRS resulted in much of time and the quality of performance is such a low that you cant even tolerate. i would request you call off the schemes of GPRS as if you cannot provide adequate facilities, they are of no use.

hi sir i am G.Rakesh .
i have been using reliance prepaid connection( [protected]) since 2years above.weekly 2 times i am loosing my money 3 or 6 rupees .without my involvement.i called to customer care lots of time but they are saying your activated some of packs .but i am not activated any packs .mostly the money cutting in night times.
.i am totally irritated with this Reliance.so now i am decided to change Reliance to other network.finally i want to say one thing.don't irritate good customers.

Reliance Communications — Billing dispute

Hi Team,
I am Abhishek from Mumbai and I want to raise concern on the issue that i have faced for past three weeks.

This is in reference to my billing dispute with Reliance communication. I have been post paid user of reliance comm. for past 1 and half year. I am using internet on my mobile but it never crossed the allowable limit(which is 2.5GB) because i know the consequences of that. So every time i check my unbilled data usage before using it through reliance online portal(rcom.co.in), which is the only medium to check your data usage. Three weeks back, it was not showing correct information and one day it suddenly raised beyond my allowable limit(2500MB). Now they are asking me to pay that.

But Sir/Madam, my question here is if there is fault in Reliance online portal and is not refreshing why the customer are penalized for that because what i see is what i have to believe that is my data usage was in control. Reliance online portal is the only way through which we can check our data usage and we(reliance customers) need to be believe, which has shown incorrect information.
For past three weeks I have raised this issue from care center to Mumbai and Maharashtra nodal office, but they have given only one answer: "Please note that, as per the service request number[protected] the amount has been charged correctly as per the usage made in your account. Hence, we are unable to refund the amount."

As they boost them as India's no1 network, but they are very poor in customer satisfaction.

I have attached one copy of my email communication in the email chain, kindly have a review. Did I asked invalid questions to them?
But they came back with the same answer: "Please note that, as per the service request number[protected] the amount has been charged correctly as per the usage made in your account. Hence, we are unable to refund the amount."

My usual bill for a month is 700-800Rs, but this month they have charged extra 2500Rs because their server issue and they are blaming me: "Why you have used extra". But I have used considering my data usage in control only.

To continue my service: I have been forced to pay 2300/- and they are asking for 1000Rs extra. But this I can't afford. I can only pay which is valid.

Sir/Madam: you are the only hope for me, request to please look into this and help because my questions are valid and they know they don't have answers to my questions.
