We are three ex-employee of Reliance Life Insurance. we have forward the PF forms for attestation to Delhi Reliance Office in January 2010 and According to statement of Delhi Office they have forwarded our PF forms to Maharashtra Reliance Office. But till date Maharashtra Reliance Office have not submitted our PF forms to EPF Bandra Office and Officers are not picking the phone calls from our numbers.. Please do the needful to get our PF amount.

    My name is Ankur Pathak. I was working with Reliance Life Insurance Co. Ltd. I left the company in the month of June 2008. I had submitted my PF withdrawal application in the month of January to the company and the company has submitted the same to Regional PF office, Bandra on the 24/02/2009. My PF no. is MH/48439/7254 but still i have not received my PF amount. Since 3 month i am doing follow up with EPF BANDRA office but i am not getting proper response.

    I am attaching herewith the acknowledgment copy of the same. Please look into this matter on urgent basis as I have not received my legal amount from EPF office.My name is on serial no. 32 (Ankur Hareshbhai Pathak)

    Reliance — Not refunding the PF amount

    I worked with a company in mumbai, and the reliance infocomm acquired the company. Then I worked with reliance for 3 years. I resigned the job last year, but they are not refunding the PF amount. They say that they dont have my PF account details from my previous company. What can I do to get the amount refunded

      I am a Reliance Life Insurance customer since November 2006. I have a policy (No. 10395109, Product Name: Market Return Plan II (Regular)). My advisor / agent for this policy is Mr. SUVASISH MALLICK, with Advisor Code 20052812.
      Sometime around May-June (2008), Suvasish approached me and explained a single premium policy with high return (I cannot recall the name of the policy) and took a check from me of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand (INR 25,000). But at the same point of time, I asked him to submit with my confirmation only and for that reason I have not put in any date on the check. I have not signed any form as well.
      Now since October, 2008, I am in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia working in here as an IT Consultant leaving my previous job.
      On 19-May, 2009, I received an e-mail from Reliance Customer Care with the Premium Initial Deposit Receipt and also I checked with my bank and found that the check I have previously given to Suvasish is used and the same amount (INR 25000) is being debited from my account.
      I immediately called up Suvasish on his mobile (0091- [protected]) and he said that “He has already left Reliance and joined IDBI and that he left the check in his office drawer and someone might have deposited the check and that he will help surrendering the policy”.
      I checked Reliance online system and found that my advisor for the new policy (Policy No.: 14530202
      Product Name: Super InvestAssure Plan) is Mr. Amit Kumar Nandy with Advisor Code[protected] whose identity was new to me. From the online site, I got his mobile number (0091- [protected]), tried calling him, but he dint respond.
      The policy reached my home and I have a soft copy of the policy document (my brother scanned and sent me). I was highly astonished and disgusted to see that, most of the information put in the policy form is incorrect and even my signature was done by somebody else and not me.

      Then I had to make at least 20 international phone calls and 50 emails, I got refund of 24975 after nearly one year. But when I asked them what action is being taken, they replied that they cannot disclose the same.

      This is highly disgusting, as I being a customer and also being a victim of fraud done by an employee of the Reliance Life Insurance, have the right to know on what action being taken. No interest or compensation is also offerred.

          Dear Sir,

          This comlaint is for the policy of Atharva Nimbarte.
          Policy No 15546364.

          Following are the series of events that follows:

          1) We have applied for the policy of Atharva Nimbarte in Oct 2009 ( Premium amount Rs 10000), but from Reliance Life Insurance side there was mis selling of the policy and the terms and conditions ( Management charges) were not told and we had given the policy for cancellation in the month of December 2009.
          2) We have gone to Reliance Nagpur Poonam Chambers office on 10th Dec for the cancellation of the said policy and Mr Bishop Indurkar somhow convinced us for better service and converted the cancelled policy premium to a new policy
          3) Mr Bishop Indurkar told us that the policy will be delivered to us within 20 working days from 10th Dec 09.
          4) We approached Mr Indurkar on around 10th Jan 2010 as the policy documents were not reached us by then and he told us that it will reach us in Max 1 week time.
          5) Since then we are following with Mr Indurkar for the same every time he says it will be done in 2-3 Days.
          6) Frustrated with all this we have contacted with Mr Arun Kumar Regional Manager , Reliance Life Insurance) on 19th Feb 2010, and he has given assurance to us that he will look into the matter and revert back in 1 Days time.
          7)He did not revert back to us till today (2nd April 2010).

          8)On 2nd March we have been communicated by Reliance Life for filling up some form for Cancellation on Policy ( via Email from Reliance Life)
          9) We complied to the mail and submitted the policy cancelllation form at Reliance Life office Milestone Building Ramdaspeth Nagpur.

          10)We recieved a SMS from Reliance Life on 11th March 10 that your complaint is closed and the No is SR [protected]. we have been communicated that we will recieve our premium money ( Rs 10000.00) pertaining to policy in 2-3 days.
          11) We have communicated with the Reliace Life office at Ramdaspeth on 17th March as we had not recieved the money by that date, they told us they will raise one more complaint pertaining to the refund of premium amount.
          12)Reliance Life raised one more complaint and we recieved SMS on 20th march that your complaint is closed and the no is SR[protected].
          13) We are following with Relaince Life Insurance office at Poonam Chambers Nagpur (Mr Bishop Indurkar) and Milestone Building Ramdaspeth Nagpur ( Mr waghmare) till today.

          -- AGAIN WE ARE WAITING FOR OUR REFUND TILL DATE....

          THIS IS THE LIMIT....WE ARE UTTERLY DISGUSTED WITH RELIANCE LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY..IT CAUSED MENTAL AGONY TO US, WE ARE CHASING THEM FOR OUR MONEY AS IF WE ARE BEGGERS..

          Sir, Kindly help us in this regards and Punish Reliance Life Insurance company for causing us lot of mental agony.

            Hey people,

            I took a policy in 2008 from some third part consultant called " Prithvi Insurance Consultant " . Intially when they were trying to sell everything was good. Policy taken "picture changes". Havent recvd a single call from them from last 2 years now.

            Customer Service of Reliance
            "y dont they close the division itself". Twice i have tried to change my no still it was not changed. I cant change my advisor. I guess their callers just know about the website and nothing more.

            Something i will do on my own.
            I am totally pissed off with reliance but as i am stuck i have to pay. I ll make sure no one in my friend circle thinks of buying any reliance policy as you people dont care about your customer. Above all they have callers who switch language at will , arrogant and non listeners

            I am sure going to make conscious effort for telling truth about your policy and your so called CRM to family, friends, colleagues, collegemates and my locality


            Would request each and every reader dont take reliance life insurance. They might fool you better to stick with ICICI ( have two policy with excellent follow-ups from them).

            These people have degraded Dhiru Bhai Ambani Vision. Dont know wat next ?????

              I have a Reliance Market Return Plan(Regular) taken[protected] completed locking period.

              Surrender the policy on[protected]. they supposed to pay the amount with in 7 working days. I have not received the amount till now. i have called so many calls to customer care spoke to them and their manager also,
              Every time i got the reply it will take two more days due to some internal process delay.

              Please let me know what will be my further procedings.

                This is for Uregent attention regarding FRAUD crated by your Advisor Code No. 20836295, Adviser's Name Vighnaharta Direct Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd.

                I have already mentioned in my earlier e mail that a agent (Abhineet [protected]) claimed to be your companies agent had asked to transfer my earlier policy amount to A SINGLE PREMIUM NEW POLICY in which the highest NAV in the 08 year policy would be paid. and he collectd the document & cheque of Rs. 30,000/- for the same. I HAVE ALREDY WROTE ALL THE FACTS IN DETAIL TO YOU ON THE VERY DATE IT HAPPENS AND ASKED FOR YOUR CONFURMATION.

                But Now the Policy (contract no[protected] I have received is a Traditional Super Invest Assure Plan with premium fo Rs. 30,000/- annually for 15 long years with Ist year charges of 80% of the premium. (Do you think in these market scenario one would go for this kind of policy if explained ?) It is total FRAUD AND CRIME.

                I have not filled or signed any form like that. It is all FRAUD created by your adviser and agent.

                I have clearlly wrote behind my cheque that the money is for Fund transfer only without any cuttings on it (I have the photocopy of the same).


                Now before taking any legal action against ' Reliance Life Insurance" ' Advisor - Vighnaharta Direct Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd.
                and a agent (Abhineet [protected]) for fraudunently opening a policy.

                Kindly take legal action against Advisor - Vighnaharta Direct Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd.and a agent (Abhineet [protected])

                and refund my hard earned maney i.e. Rs. 30,000/-.

                COMPANY OF THIS STATURE SHOULD NOT RESTORE TO SUCH FRAUD TO EARN HARD EARNED MONEY OF PUBLIC.

                Date : 08/March 2010
                Dear Sir / madam,

                This is for kind information and clerification that I, Shantanu Mazumdar, client Id No. 01158107, purchased a policy " Reliance Money Gurantee Plan" on 28th February 2007 on a premium of Rs. 10,000/- annualy. I have paid three premiums of Rs. 10,000/- each on 2007, 2008 and 2009.

                Two days earlier I received a call from your cutomer care office for transfer of my fund (he calculate it to be apprx. Rs. 29,390/-) from this policy to same policy in which the my fund value will be paid on the basis of maximum NAV for any period/any duration in the further valuation. And further premiums are not compulsary. The policy no. will remain same.

                Toady i.e. 8th March 2010 after call from your office one representative, Mr. Abhineet Mobile no. [protected], visited and presented the Payout form for transfer of fund and collected the following:

                1. Payout Form" duly filled and signed by myself,
                2. one Cancelled cheque of my account
                3. One Cheque of Rs. 30,000/- in favour of Reliance Life Insurance (for fund transfer only)
                4. Copy of PAN Card
                5. Copy of Mobile Bill for Address verification.
                6. ORIGINAL POLICY PAPERS

                Though your representative has ensured that these documents are sufficient for transfer of fund to my account and NEW POLICY PAPER will be sent to my address and I will receive the details in my email. BUT he has NOT GAVE ME:

                1. ANY RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT OF rS. 30,00/- THROUGH CHEQUE (FOR TRANSFER THE FUND)
                2. ANY FORM TO FILL THE TRANSFER OF FUND TRANSICTION.

                I have showed full faith in your company but there is no trasperency reflected in the entire transiction. It shows that I have withdrew my entire fund and presented a new cheque of Rs. 30,000/- for NOT SPECIFIFED purpose.

                It is requested to you to kindly confirm that the same procedure is good enough for this kind of transiction (transfer of fund from one policy to same policy with new terms of NAV. Kindly conform on my email [protected]@rediffmail.com and mobile no. [protected].

                  I sukhraj singh has worked with Reliance Life Insurance co. ltd. I have resigned there on 15th February2009. My PF ac no. is MH/48439/49464. My company has processed my PF on 6 July 2009. But even after a 10 months i have not got my PF. I have called & mailed you so many times in your office but there is no response.

                    Hi,

                    I surrendered my reliance market linked plan insurance policy#10473941 on 27th Feb and the representative told that I would receive the money within 7 working days. But I haven't received my money yet. The reliance customer service(call centre) people are NOT helping, they just respond with standard script "we have escalated to concern department", am so much frustrated after hearing the same msg for last 3 days.
                    Due to their (Reliance) negligence of their duty, am forced to take loan from family & friends to meet my financial commitments, which puts me in very embrassing situation.

                    Please help me !!.

                    Life insurance — I want to Surrender my policy

                    I am holding Reliance SGYP Policy# 15532489 since November, 2009.

                    On January 08, 2013, I surrendered the same however I am yet to receive the Surrender value.

                    Despite of calling Reliance Customer Care number of times could not find the valid reasons for the delay.


                    Understand that the normal SLA for making the payment is 7 working days, which is already passed.

                        I had taken policy from Reliance Life Insurance Company named Reliance Money Guarantee Plan on 19th August 2009 with 20000 Rs yearly premium for a term of 10 years but on receiving the policy documents I came to know that I was promised false commitment

                        Initially when I got the call I was told that on investing 20,000 Rs. On yearly basis for 3 years, I would receive guaranteed sum of 90,000 Rs, also the same will be mentioned in the policy document. I received document after 10 days. It dint stated above mentioned promise, so I again called and confirmed the person. They told me that since that offer was only for two days so I will get one more document stating the above mentioned point. I dint received any document, so I called them back. But no one was answering my calls. I contacted to reliance insurance customer care and I came to know that their was no such offer. In this whole process I had wasted my 15 days lookup period.

                        This means I was given wrong information to sell the insurance policy.

                        Also I got call from a lady saying that she from IRDA (organization regulating the insurance companies).I explained whole scenario. Following this I got another call from reliance people, giving me opportunity to switch to different policy. But I dint wanted get fooled by one more telephonic conversation so I disconnected call.

                        Please guide me to get justice.

                          Today on Feb 20th 2010, I called the call centre and lodged a complaint again - [protected]. Again I am being promised that someone will call me :) This is getting ridiculous by the day. Everyone is non responsive in this company.

                          The IRDA was already emailed into, even they did not get to my email I guess.

                          Now I hope somehow I get my money back and forget that I ever got any business with Reliance. So far so good for the top business names.

                          I am sending this email in deep regret. The services from Reliance has been very poor. After waiting for atleast 25-30 minutes on the call, I am always told that a call back will be arranged but that never happens.

                          The team there asked me to submit a cancelled cheque in the office so that my policy could be re-instated. I fail to understand for a policy that was mandated an ECS via Credit Card and was running till Dec 09, how come suddenly the Cheque comes into picture? In the morning I spoke to the call center people and they advised me to wait for 3-4 days so that the team could fix the ECS thing. Till that time my policy was in force.

                          After 10 hours, I get an email stating that my policy has lapsed effective 14th Jan. Is Reliance trying to cheat on the money by cancelling the policy behind my back

                          This time and again cancelling of Policies's is a very serious concern for me. Since my policy is on a monthly premium to be charged to my credit card its very tough for me to keep looking at my back if the policy is still in force and paid up or not.

                          I had a very basic question - if one fine day god forbid something happens to me and due to Reliance's fault my credit card for not charged, how much hassles my family would have to go through to settle the issues. I am forced to say this is very ill managed way of handling life related issues and I will seriously considering this to various websites and take this to Consumer Court proactively instead of waiting for a mishappening and then my beloved are forced to do that.

                          So much good in the names and faith of the big trusted names in business.

                          Sending this email to IRDA as I have been told they are the main governing body. I am sorry if that is not the case or if this was too little an issue to be involving IRDA at this level. But for me its worth my life on stake and with repeated instances of errors with my policy I am on no man's land. I am sure if this falls under IRDA jurisdiction, someone will take appropriate action there.

                          If possible please keep me posted on what is going on over there

Every time I call, i am told that no senior is available to speak and will take atleast 2 hours before one can be made available. Todya I spoke to one person named Javed who again denied access to someone who could actually solve my problem.

                          My complaint also included request abt the way my premium was being allocated - the dates of allocation of premium has been very interminnent. It varies between 2-10 days of the day my credit card is charged.

                          I hope with that someone does something about this else I will be forced to take this up Reliance's chain and with IRDA.

                            My father bought a life insurance policy of Reliance Co. 3 year back & company promised to my father that this policy would give about 25 % return.My father invested Rs 3 lakh in 3 equal installments for 3 years.What i found right now that the overall NAV value of our policy is just Rs 3,10,000, it means only Rs 10,000 as a return in 3 years.I think its horrible & i want to ask one thing from Reliance Co. that is this a maximum return of which you give to your customers.I think that this company has cheated us because at this moment their is no reply from company side.It's really very disappointment for us.This is my request to all of you please don't invest in any reliance insurance plan because they just cheat their customers.

                            I also took a Reliance policy 5 years back. I think Reliance is the worst place to invest in. The returns are actually Nil. In face one will end up loosing money as any other investment instrument will at least give some amount of return. But I think Reliance is filling up their own pockets with its investors hard earned money. When they sell the policy they would convince you like anything. at the time of redeeming the policy they will bring up all problems..their system will never be in working stage. The staff will not in office during working hours. and many more issues. I hope no one falls in their trap like me.

                                  Some of the persons were working under me as advisor, for Reliance Life Insurance Company.

                                  Reliance Life Insurance Company has deducted TDS on the commission of my advisors, which are suppose to be deposited to the Income Tax department but they did not deposited the same to the Income Tax department.

                                  In this way Reliance Life Insurance Company has cheated Income Tax department as well as with my advisors.

                                  I am requesting you to look into the matter and do the needful.
