Reliance Power IPO — Incomplete refund of Reliance Power IPO money

I had deposited Rs. 96, 750 for allotment of 225 shares of Reliance Power through the IPO in Jan. 2008.I was allotted 17 shares .However instead of refunding the balance amount of Rs. 89, 440 I was refunded only Rs. 4, 765 . Despite sending the copies bank statements showing the debit of 96, 750 by speed post on 18th Feb and regular reminders thereafter on the telephone as well as on e-mail no action has been taken by M/S Karvy.The telephone no. of their courier dept. is always engaged and it seems that the e-mail and telephonic reminders are not being attended to by either M/S Karvy or Reliance Power. It is SURPRISING that RELIANCE POWER is ABDICATING its RESPONSIBILITY of refunding the money and has put Karvy as its frontal agency with whom the applicants have really speaking no dealing whatsoever.

Reliance Power I.P.O — Refund not yet effective

Ihave applied 105 no equity and deposited form no 1896328 along with a draft no396724 drawn from Allahabad bank, kharagpur amounting Rs47250| to local office of ms KarvyStock broking . I did not get any allotment and till date no refund is made. please take up the case urgent ly and effect the payment wth compound interest. My wife also applied 105 equity vide application no1896302 and deposited adraft amountingRs 47250| drawn from Allahabad bank, Kharagpur draft no396723 dated 15.01.08 she also did not get any allotment and till date no refund was made pl take up both the case with I.P.O manager and effect the payment with penal interest

I Have not recd.a IPO allotment of 16 shares as per your letter no. KCSPL/adag/rpower/ref/2397072 on 11-03-08, But till today i.e as on 25.04.08, I have not recd.a 16 alloted shares & refund of balance amt.

Please look into the matter and arrange to refund the balance amount.

HDFC BANK LIMITED — Payment deducted or not cleared cheque of Rs.25875/-

I have applied in the Reliance Power Limited IPO alongwith my Account cheque No521187 Date 16/01/2008 of HDFC Bank Ltd, Sector – 16, Gandhinagar Branch amounting to Rs.25875/-
During my enquiry M/s Karvy Computer shares has asked that my cheque has not realized .
I have received back this cheque with Remarks : Return Unpaid Reason : Fund Insufficient
However it is surprise to note that this amount debited from my HDFC Bank Account No.[protected] on Dt :24/01/08
This is very serious matter. My amount of Rs.25875/- is held up by HDFC Bank without any reason since last 3.5 months
Therefore it is requested to deposit this amount ( i.e.Rs.25875/-) along with 12 % interest. at the earliest.

I had applied for 225 shares of Reliance IPO costing Rs.96, 750/- through bid cum application form no.58428976 but i was alloted 17 shares alongwith 5 bonus shares of Rs.7, 310/-Insted of refunding Rs.89, 440/- I was refunded Rs.18, 565/- I paid the amount through cheque no.016334 that was realised by Reliance Power Ltd.on 22/1/2008.I sent a copy of the bank statement through email but the reply was very dissappointing.I have sent many e-mails and at every occasion i gave each and every detail that was asked but till date i haven't got any satisfactory reply.Details of my application is below

RELIANCE POWER LIMITED — NON REFUND OF IPO AMT RS.25875/=

Applied vide application no 5 7920037 for 225 shares on 18/01/08 . Cheque drawn on Axis
Bank , C-Scheme , Jaipur bearing no 845785 was cleared from bank on 8/2/08 through HSBC, Jaipur ( Collecting Banker). Till date neither refund nor shares received. One day 17 shares were shown in my demat a/c no [protected] Indiabulls , and same was withdrawn within few days.
Now request for refund along with interest immediately.
