[Resolved]  Samsung — Samsung Complaints - Samsung Mobile

i have purchased a samsung mobile in the month of sept 2008 on the 23rd. the mobile suddenly after 3 months suddenly gets switched off and then after that it does not start at all. i send the handset to samsung service center where they said that they will check and get it rectified. after 2 days they revert that they will show it to their chief technician and then tell us what the problem is. after a week they tell us that they will have to send the handset to banglore as their serive center is only at banglore. now i am already without a handset for past one week and they expect me to do without a handset for 10 more days. my business also suffers as i myself am a franchisee for reliance and we sell samsung handsets in our showroom. i am not getting a replacement for the handset nor a standby handset till the time they get it rectified... why should i get it repaired when i am suppose to get a replacement. its within warranty. why should i use a faulty handset. please help regarding this as i am suffereing without a handset.

Inefficient Service centre

Electroserve in Moti Nagar, N Delhi is the worst service centre for mobile phones . I found a number o[censored]nsatisfied customers there. The tecnicians are not expert and upto the mark.

I gave my mobilr phone on 11/7/2009 to repair and I was given an estimate of Rs 301/- but on repeated visits I could not get my phone repaired and finally I was told that the expenditure is of Rs3800/- while the phone cost me 5000/- . There was a minor problem of charging in my phone but now they say mother board is to be changed. Looks like they have damaged my set due to lack of expertise at there end.

Realy i m' surprising. I will never purchase samsung make any products and communicate to our friends circle
Really i m' very diappointed on my selection best would have nokia make mobile.

I hav purchase a samsung Star Touch mobile in last month.& i m facing the network problem for such along time.I have also given my handset to the Samsung Service center in Rani Bagh New delhi.& there no no positive result.Now i m really disappointed that there is no services for such a big company.Now i never suggest to any of my friend to buy samsung any product & enemy also.

i am sarath.v.s from kerala .i bought a new samsung mobile (sgh d900i)from dubai.After 6 months iam not even able to make and receive call in this mobile.when i approached the service centre persons they said that they are not able to solve this problem since this is an issue with the software, without even checking my phone, and also said that they cant give warrany to a samsung product i brought from out side india.that was a bitter experiance for me because they havnt even checked my phone to diagoniz the problem .If these type of service is provided by sumsung service centre with what trust we buy samsung products?My phone has got warranty .The service centre i approached is located at ernakulam(kerala).its adress is.

Samsung India — Faulty Mobile Phone Samsung Star

I have purchased a new samsung mobile phone S5233 star for my son on the 8th Of Aug 09 from Hypercity Malad. on the 22nd Aug the phone started malfunctioning, it was just switching on and off on its own. on 23rd Aug 09 i called on samsung service number for replacement of the phone as it was hardly 15 days old but they informed me that replacement is given if there is any problem within 7 days and hence replacement is not possible and it needs to be taken to nearst service station,and they allocated a BP No [protected].

i took the phone to hypercity and showed them the phone, they said it was a software related problem and will be rectified by the service station. they directed me to the nearest service station in shastri nagar goregaon. the next day my son reached on the address and found that the service station had shut down and they were no longer service franchisee for samsung but they directed him to Borivali service station.

on 26th Aug 09 my son took the mobile phone to samsung service center Master Care in Borivali West. after inspection the representative said that some files of the software were corrupt hence the phone is malfunctioning and they will reset it. after some time the phone was returned saying it was ok, my son checked the phone it saw in the standby mode and the touch screen was functioning. he inquired whether they have checked the phone properly and will it work ok ? the service representative assured everything is fine. in the entire day my son did not recieve any calls nor did he try to make outgoing call, nether did he recieve any sms nor did he send any sms.

in the eve when he came from collage his friends called on the landline and inquired about him as his phone was not reachable throughout the day and he did not reply to their sms. my son was surprised as he had not received anycalls nor sms. then he tried making calls, it was not possible to make outgoing calls. when we tried to call his number we got reply saying the number is not available. when he tried sending an sms the phone again got hanged and on the screen the following was displayed

we had to remove the battry to swithch of the phone after which the phone is switched on all other functions are possible but no calls can be made and recieved no sms can be send or recieved.

i again contacted hypercity as nobody from samsung bothered to call and enquire. i was asked to submit the phone at hypercity who inturn assuered me to get my problem resolved i submited the phone at hypercity on the 2rd of sept 09 and have not got any feedback on the same as of yet.

i have send a mail to hypercity and samsung today 9th Sept 09 asking for 100% refund of money awaiting response. i want the help of the forum to support me and get my money back.

Sub: - In regard of fraud selling of old & defected phone by presenting it as a new one.

I have purchased a new Samsung Phone SGH-I 450 from M/S Pahuja Mobiles Shop No. 32, Nehru Market, Maharaja Agarsain Chowk Gurgaon Haryana on dated 09/05/2009 vide Bill No. 1440 dated 09/05/2009.

After using it for two days, phone was not charging properly, I have complained for the same to the shop owner, who told me to go to the service centre. I went to service centre situated at Sectoer 14 Gurgaon on dated 16/06/2009 At the service centre I was told that the mother board of the phone is faulty & almost Rs. 7000/- is required to correct the fault, which is a manufacturing fault. I once again went to Bharat Communication a another service centre which is situated at BG-20, GROUND FLOOR, RG Call Center:30308282 in Pahar Ganj Behind Pahar Ganj Police station Delhi. He also told me that PBA Problem is created and he makes an estimate of Rs 9448 vide estimate No. work order no. WA5535.911195 dated 17/07/2009. (The Photocopy of estimate is attached)

I have bought my phone from a renowned co. Samsung for best service. The shopkeeper owner has sold me the old and defected phone with a new body & charged me for the new phone.

When I told service center’s people that, it is a new phone and it is in guarantee period. I was told to contact the shop owner.I am in very shock because I had spent Rs 12000/- for mobile which was out of order within two months. I also went to kalkaji service centre on dated 18/08/2009 they also made an estimate of 7517- telling reason IFC track missing. I am very sad because I always trust samsung electronics.

However, I had made the payment for the renowned Samsung Co. Mobile Phone and not for the damaged/replaced parts Phone (reassembled by M/s Pahuja Mobiles Shop).
In view of genuine and bonafide facts as stated above, I humbly request Samsung Co. to please look into this case in depth as it is a case of forgery and do the needful for replacing my Mobile Phone by new one as no fault of mine.

Samsung is cheating with customer now days. every handset by samsung creating some sor of issues . i see lot of people in samsung service cntre taken for repair or replacement. samung has lost his quality of cell phone. i too buy samsung l700 im big fan of samsung but after buying this phone im frusted within 15 days it created network problem. and showing all IMEI no to 0. then i have give in service cntre and waiting for repare from last 2 months
I bought a Samsung Mobile S 3310 yesterday evening, 06/10/2009, from The Mobile Store, Tilak Nagar, Chembur, Mumbai - 400089, worth Rs. 5149, with the IMEI no [protected].

I work with Essar at their Kurla office. Though the phone was functioning ok yesterday evening, I am not getting network connectivity at my office, and the screen always shows "searching" and every time I have to switch it off and switch on to get connectivity. But after a short while it is lost again.
This was not the problem when I was using a Sony Erricson handset earlier ofcourse with the Same SIM Card.

Though I am going to put this to the Store from where I purchased the set, this is very poor service from a renowned company SAMSUNG for a product which is based on the basis of network connectivity.

I would still be giving the handset a try, but If I still face the same problem, I would request for a replacement though ofcourse with another model.

I Quite agree with the complaint the service ceters are pathetic, within 3 months o[censored]sing the samsung star phone, the touch panel isn't working the worst part is that there was no pressure added on the panel or did the phone fall off anytime all of a sudden the caliberation AND THERE'S NO OPTION TO EVEN CALIBERATE THE PHONE EVEN ORDNARY CHINESE PHONES HAVE THAT OPTION IN CASE THE TOUCH GOES HERE IT just went off, the worst part is the service centers guys don't have any spares and after 2 weeks the same old damn excuse we have ordered and it will come.

Why the hell do they launch these phones when they can't provide a proper service, WOULD ADVICE EVERYONE NOT TO FALL FOR THE TRIP OF ADVERTISEMENTS OF SAMSUNG PHONES WITHIN MONTHS IT WILL STOP FUNCTIONING AND THEN U WILL HAVE TO RUN HELTER SKELTER TRYING TO RECTIFY IT.

Samsung Star Phone — Faulty Phone and no help from service center

I purchased a Samsung Star Phone in June 09 when it was newly launched, for a change as i was overwhelmed with the ads and features it had to offer so decided to leave my association with Nokia as i was using their handsets for 10 yrs and go for this phone. Initial 3 months was fine but last week all of a sudden the touch panel stopped responding, no water fell on it or pressure placed on the panel or no damage was done as it was maintanined very well and suddenly this happens, i checked for a servce center near my place whom i have been desperately trying to resolve my issue but everytime he says NO DON'T COME HERE AS I DON'T HAVE THE SPARES AND I HAVE ORDERED AND IT WILL TAKE TIME and its been good 2 weeks now.

What on earth will the customer do if he is left in a state like this after spending 10,000 and iam left with nowhere now , the best part is this phone doesn't even have a caliberation setup even the ordinary cheap China phones have it incase the caliberation goes off in the touch panel.

My biggest risk from moving from Nokia to Samsung has backfired me very badly, why don't u guys look at the service centers at Nokia it is so damn good and they are completely professionals incase there are any issues with the handsets, Samsung seems to be claiming to produce the best phones but have u ever thought how these phones will be serviced and taken care of incase of any eventualities .

COULD YOU GUYS PLS DO SOMETHING OR DO I CONSIDER THIS AS A WASTE OF 10,000 OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
The best part is my first handset was bought from MOBILE STORE A SO CALLED ESSAR GROUP IN YELAHANKA NEWTOWN AND that was damaged as the speakers went off and the second i purcchased was SAMSUNG START THAT ALSO HAS GONE FOR A TOSS BUT ALAS WHEN YOU GO TO THEM THEY SAY ITS NOT OUR FAULT AND GO TO THE SERVICE CENTER.

Hi I purchased a slide phone approx 6 months back.
Last month the OS went for a toss & was replaced only after 15 days post contacting the service centre.

Just barely using it for a month & the cell is again giving problems with different apps being accessed that the ones intended to be pressed (from the key pad).

Cant afford to keep the cell again at the service centre for another 15 days !!!
i purchased samsung- s 3500 on[protected] from hot spot spice retail ltd 90, bk block, west shalimar bagh new delhi -110088, the mobile after 2 months would get switch off & would get it on automatically then i went to sim solutions d-12/195, 1st floor, sec-8newdelhi (care centre)& they dealt with me immediately by scratching the battery with iron type equipment & again after 2 month igot my cell with same problem then also they dealt with me similarly & then after one month i got my cell with a problem of getting switch off & charged automatically & then i went on 15 dec 2009 & they ensured to replace my mobile'smotherboard ( p.b.a) within 7 days after that i went to them for sake of my mobile but they did not replace (p.b.a) it but they cleaned (motherboard) it with tooth brush with thinner like substance in front of me but then also it was in a same problem and now they gave me the date of 4th dec again .The way they treated to my genuine problem is unexplainable so please tell me where should i go for this as i get my all work jammed by their ignorance .
