Dear Sir/ Madam,

I had applied for Demat account on 29.06.2009 in SBI, MIT Muzaffarpur Branch (4603)Bihar. But today 70 days have gone passed and till date i had not received any response from your side. While SBI says it will be open in only 10 days.

I contacted to concerned person many times but he said that this is not in his hand it will be done by Mumbai Head office. So i want to know that who is responsible for the delay of 70 days.
Please clarify for delay of one month.

Please sort out this as early as possible.

demet account oppening — dillay open demet account why?

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Please donot open a Demat Account with SBI. Services are pathetic.

I got a Demat account opened after 2 months that too after repeated followup and since the last 3 month I am trying to contact the helpdesk and everytime i get a message telling "ALL OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVES ARE BUSY PLEASE HOLD THE LINE".

Now I am running around to close the Demat account.

    Dear Sir,

    I have a S/B account No. [protected] in SBI bank, Sector-2, Noida branch, on 6th September 09. I had withdrawn Rs. 1500/- by ATM from my account the two ATM’s in the bank premises do not give any transaction slip since last month or so.

    But when I got entries in my passbook I found two debit entries of Rs. 15000/- and Rs.1500/- on the same day.

    I gave a written complaint to the bank on 7th September 2009 but they have not replied so far. However they verbally informed that the entries are correct.

    This is totally fraud and the enquiry should be made immediately to get back my money.

      I have approch to (sbi kovilur branch dindigul district tamilnadu)field officer mr karthikkumar for agriculture development loan.he simply refuse to give the loan application .he give the loan application only land prokers.so kindly take the action against him and also kindly arrange the agri development loan.

        I have PPF account at Nasik branch, I opened on 2003, 2004 i got job in chennai and moved to tamil nadu.

        I approched chennai besanth nagar branch for the transfer procedure. They suggested to forward letter to besanth nagar branch and they will do transfer.

        till now no response i have conatct many times in last 5 years to get my PPF account transfered.

        I contacted Nasik branch for details of transfer, They reverted my remittance with account not available at sinnar branch.

        I dont know where is my ppf account and which branch it is available, i am loosing 5 years of subscription.

        please help me about this, i want to know which branch my PPF account is now available at tamilnadu, chennai and what is the new PPF account number.

        I want to tranfer my PPF account from Pune to Ahmedabad branch. I have visited the Ahmedabad branch but to my surprise, they didn't even know the procedure to be followed.
        If anyone else is aware of what is suppose to be done, kindly guide me.
        SBI bank is least bothered about the customer complaints and many a times very rude with the customers.

            I sent three Regd. Letters on 4th Sep. 2009 from Tirunelveli RMS ( 627 001 ) with Nos.
            RL B 1338 , 1339 and 1340.
            Of these , the third one did not reach till yesterday as informed by the addressee. I do not know the
            status of other two.
            Would you kindly trace and confirm whether they have been delivered?
            When a number of economic couriers are available, we still bank on India Post.We should not be
            disappointed.

              I am one of your customer, I applied for Internet Banking. I recieved Internet Banking Username on 3rd Dec 2008, but still not got Internet Banking Password.
              I already called customer care, they told to contact Branch of which I am account holder.

                I have a SB account in SBI Ashok nager A/C no [protected].Rs5000/ extra debit on the time of ATM withdrawal dt 08/08/09 location Indian bank ATM Adambakkam branch Chennai.& Punjab national bank Adambakkam Chennai..I given an camplaint to my own account branch SBI Ashok nager chennai on 11.08.09 they told amount will be credit with in 15days but till now no amount credit my account. I enquiry with SBI ashok nager chennai again 3 times they told we sending complaint to Indian bank & the amount will credit another 15days.But 1 month passed no amout was credit in my account.So i lost my time & expansens. So kindly I request you to arrange my Lostamount with suitable compenstion .I expect favourable reply from you

                That, Sir, I have opened an account (Saving) bearing No. [protected] in SBI SALAR (West Bengal)with ATM and check facilities. Now, I am serving in Border Security Force and presently deployed at Jammu & Kashmir and also my monthly salary is depositing in your bank.

                On 19/09/2009 at about 14000 hrs, I have tried to withdrawal an amount of Rs 20, 000/- through ATM of J&K bank, Miran Sahib, Jammu, but the same un-able to process and the above amount not been withdrawal at that time. Again, on 21/09/2009, I have taken a mini statement through SBI ATM and I found that Rs 20, 000/- has been deducted from my account. Matter has brought to the notice of SBI Salar (West Bengal) as well as J&K Bank Miran Sahib (Jammu). But, both the bank denying, to accept application regarding the matter.

                I am withdrawing my salary from ATM of any other bank when ATM of SBI becomes unserviceable. At present I am unable to proceed on leave due to exigency of my duty.

                In view of above, it is earnestly requested that an amount of Rs 20, 000/- which was erroneously deducted from my account may kindly be credited to my account at the earliest and would be grateful to you for this kind of act.

I am banking with sbi branch code 2078 having irresposible maneger mr Noor Housain., when i went for online banking he missbevae with me and said that open your online banking after three months, but there is no such criteria like this.

                    Dear Sir/Madam

                    I would like to point out that my mother Mrs Latha Krishnamurthy holds an account with the SBI bank at the Velachery Branch, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

                    She has somehow misplaced user account and password for online banking.
                    There is no direct link or application on the site that helps us log a complaint with the SBI for issuing of new User ID and Password.
                    On calling the customer support they reply that the will only provide us the User ID and password is not their responsibility. We have also approached the branch officials and the same case prevails.

                    As my mother is getting on age, forgetting the password is a common thing, but the rude behavior and the un-necessary act of literally scolding her for forgetting the password is an atrocious act and it should be strictly delt with, it is as equal to humiliating my mother publicly

                    I hope there is some help around to get this thing sorted.

                          I had recently tried to withdraw money worth Rs.5000.00 from the ATM machine, however, when I tried to collect money ejected by the machine, the machine had pulled back the currency notes which i could not get. To my utter dismay, a slip was printed debiting my account by Rs5000 without even dispensing money from the machine. Apart from feeling ripped off, it caused tremendous inconvenience to me because after that I tried to withdraw money again from the same machine which had gone dysfunctionl may be after the currency got stuck in the system leading to system failure. what a rip oo it was.Whwn i tried to contact on the helpline no. it was told that only my bank branch having my saving a/c can help me in this regard. i don't even know what to do now.

                            State Bank of India is having one Branch at Zakir Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi to cater the Banking need of Large section of Populations comprises the nearby locality of Zakir Nagar, Abul Fazal Enclave Jullena,Shaheen Bagh etc. Most of the time ATM Services of the Branch is found to be dead and it does not dispense Cash with the reason & response Unable to Process and Unable to Dispense Cash.This phenomena is mostly observed on the days of Holidays & vacations such as Sunday, Independence Day, Festivals seasons holidays. Several times customers of the Branch has submitted compliants letter with the Branch Manager but no positive outcome has been experienced. Now it can be concluded that Either The Bank management or and The Branch Manager and other staff is determined to not to provide better services to the local population of one community, let me clear it This area is densely populated by he Muslim population. Is the Branch/Bank trying to give the impression that this community or Local populations of this rae are to be treated like Untouchables?
                            Further,The staff and Branch officials is having very different attitude in attending the Customers of the Locality and to speak about account opening it is very difficult to get positive response. The Branch officilas must understand that they are not running a shop so that the basic and necessary services can be denied to nay customers. Rather, they have to understand that they are employee and working for a Public owned commercial organization, Bank, and providing Services to the local community with cooperative attitudes and warmth is the main objective of the Bank in the interest of the development of of the community and in turn of Development of the Nation. On one hand the Govt/ RBI has emphasized the objective for financial inclusion, On the other hand Branch has not initiated any step like organizing Camp for mobilizing Account Opening and making local population still unbanked to understand that Banking is the important and necessary for savings and developing habit of Deposit mobilizable.Hope my complaints will be treated as feedback to initiate steps to improve custome services and improve Banking relationship among the local population.

                            Today I have tried to withdrawl some cash through ATM. Rs. 5, 000/= withdrawl succesfully but IInd time I was withdrawling Rs. 5, 000/= unfortunetly only Rs. 600/= received out of Rs. 5, 000/= balance Rs. 4, 400/= was rolled back by the ATM due to some technical problem.

                            i want to draw your attention regarding the sbi atm located in INDIRA GANDHI INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY, PATNA, BIHAR, i m suffering from past 3 years, most of the time, around 5/7 days, i found the display board saying, "THE MACHINE IS OUT OF SERVICE".and local authority do not give any attention..

                                I am one of the card members of your institution for last more than 4 years. I regret to state that last more than one year I have not been receiving statement of my bill either at my office address or at Home address recorded with u. Despite repeated telephonic complaints to your call centre executives my problem has not been solved till date. Your representatives were advised to send me statement at my e-mail address : pradeep.[protected]@sbi.co.in. But till date I have not received even a single statement from u. This many times has resulted into late payment of monthly bills. I fear that SBI card might be doing this so that they can charge pentalty for late payment. Please therefore look into the matter and let me know whether SBI Card has any documentary evidence of having delivered statement either by post or email to my recorded address. If not, please confirm to me that SBI Card has not levied any late payment charges to me in the last one year. Please also provide me detailed statememnt atleast for last one year for perusal. Please issue suitable instructions to send me statement regularly in future. In case I am not given due justice I reserve the right to go to consumer forum for redressal of my complaint.

                                    I am I.Sree harsha account holder of SBI branch, Kirandul, Chattisgarh( A/C No: [protected]). I have transfered money through online banking to SBH on 26th of august. Transaction displayed successful and amount of Rs.6000 had been deducted from my account on the same day. But the money was not credited on the beneficiary account until now. I approached to my own Branch Manager and they are saying that once if we get UTR reference number the money should be transfered to beneficiary on the same day. And they also said that money was transfered to RBI from the branch and they cannot provide any help further.

                                    But the details being shown in my accouont about this transaction are given below.

                                    I have complained in SBI service desk and got complaint number also. I reported to concerned department of SBI and till date I got no reply.

                                    From Punjab — FAILURE OF STATE BANK OF INDIA'S ONLINE FORM SUBMISSION PROGRAM

                                    After paying Rs 250 when I tried to submit the online application, I was not successful in doing so. My web browser had shown errors like :
                                    (1) http:// 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
                                    (2) The maximum amount of time for a script to execute
                                    was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a
                                    new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by
                                    changing the value in the IIS administration tools.
                                    (3) Microsoft VBRuntime error '800a4006'
                                    ...ETC. ETC.
                                    AND MOST SURPRISINGLY WHEN I TRIED TO CALL THE HELPLINE NUMBERS GIVEN ON S.B.I. WEBSITE ALL THE NUMBERS RESULTED IN SAME RESPONSE "WRONG NUMBER"
                                    I THINK THIS IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE PREFER PRIVATE BANKS OVER BANKS LIKE S.B.I.

                                    WE PEOPLE SHOULD UNITE TO TAKE SOME ACTION AGAINST THIS FRAUD.

                                    Sbi A/c Internet banking — Non issue of Debit Card and Transaction right for my account

                                    Dear Madam/Sir,
                                    I had opened a Savings Bank accout at (A/C No[protected] SBI Vasant Square Branch at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi almost 6 month back.
                                    1st thing they have not issued a debit card in my name till now, every time I approach the bank they say it will be done but that day has not come yet.

                                    2nd I had also asked for Third Party Transaction rights (fund trnasfer) so that atleast I can use my account online.
                                    They kept on telling me that they will do it, untill one day I was at another SBI branch were I came to know thata I have to submit a form for the same.This information was never passed on to me by my branch.Anyways I took the form and submitted at the Vasant Square branch.They took the form and said they will do it.Its been two weeks now and nothing has been done.

                                    Further there is no customer complaint section on the site also were one can submit such complaints except the two phone no`s which are always bussy.

                                    I would therefore like to take your help to resolve these issues.

                                    On 2nd July 2009 I did an online transfer of Rs 5000 from my ICICI account[protected] to my SBI account[protected]. The amount got debited from ICICI account the same day but it never reached my SBI saving account & after several follow up visits to both ICICI & SBI branches the amount still not got credited back to my SBI account.

                                    The transfer amount was RS7000. The beneficiary did not received the payments and the amount never returned back to my account even.

                                    I tried to call SBI customer care, but did not get any approximate answer from SBI CC executives.
                                    They asked me initially to check with beneficiary bank. When consulted them, they said they didnt receive any money and they dont have any transaction with the given transaction ID. When again consulted the SBI customer care, They told me that the amount will come back in 4-5 working days but its over a month now. I have been contacting both the branches regularly but no help.
                                    Hope this online complaint i will get some help.
                                    Please help.

                                    this is to inform that I, HANUMAN SINGH, having a SBI Saving Account with Sambhar Lake Bracnh, rajasthan [Code 0712]

                                    sir i hold a account in sbi koramangala bangalore. i had opened the account in june 2008, at that time the bank had send internet user n password, i dont remember wheather i had changed the user id n password or not. now few days back there was n online transaction from my account and amount had been transfered to some bombay account. i had filed n FIR and get blocked that account to which amount had been transfered n i m getting back the cash. i enquired the bank people about my user id n password but they r unable to answere.even police is unable to help. these people just saying tomorrow or day after tomorrow. i wanted to know few things..
                                    1. can this b findout who had done the transaction?
                                    2. on which date n yr my user id n password was created or changed?
                                    3. finally wats my user id n password when the transaction was done?

                                    I have brought earlier also in your notice that the services of SBI, Mangal Bazaar, Laxminagar, New Delhi are extremely irresponsible. The staff is very edmund and does not work at all and through away very important documents like dd deposited and applications submitted for issuing the cheque books. I have already brought this fact in your notice earlier but no action has been taken yet. I request you kindly to trace my dd of Rs.250000/ deposited in the bank which has not yet been credited in our account [protected] even passing more than 4 months. We donot have any proof of our account such as passbook or cheque book. I personally gave an application to issue the cheque book in the hands of one responsible officer which I came to know that he torn off the application and did not act upon the application.                                     on 10/11/09 i transferred 27, 000.00 rupee from my SBI account to my SBM account by using card to card money transfer facility present in SBI ATM . the money was deducted from my account but it did not credited in my SBM account. so i consulted with SBI customer care service where someone tell the money will be send after 2 hours and someone says it will be send on the next working days . so i waited till 12/11/09 . but till now the amount did not credited to my account . so today i went to a near by SBI branch where they told me to send an application to the head office and it will take nearly 2 week . this much long time is costing me a lot more and still i m not sure whether i will get the money or not . sir please advice me what to do . i would be grateful to you.

                                    Have been trying to explain my problem to customer care people but they keep transferring my calls to different departments with no solution.

                                    A bank like SBI can do this is scaring me.

                                    SBI TO SBH --- CARD TO CARD TRANSFER PROBLEM --- AMOUNT DEBITED BUT NOT CREDITED
                                    Some times the money transferred from SBI to SBH/SBM using card to card transfer doesnt work properly. Instead it gets transferred to some "invalid account"(says the customer care executive[protected]. If this happens, you need to go to ur home branch and give a written complaint regarding the issue. You will have to mention your account details at SBI and also mention the account number of the reciepient at SBH/SBM (or they also may ask the card number instead.) and the day of transaction, Once you have given the letter wait for them to register your complaint online then itself(takes about 5mins). Once the complaint is registered you will get a ticket number on your mobile number, it confirms that your complaint has been registered. Once its done within 2 or 3 days(as in my case) the transferred amount will be credited to the RECIEPIENT's account.
                                    *No charges.
                                    *The bank employee may refuse to take the complaint saying "Its ur fault, u should have checked". But i[censored] have entered the right details then definitely u should push them to register the complaint.
                                    *They might ask you call customer care and ask, we cant do anything. But that wont help, u r just wasting ur time. The customer care ppl will tell u to ask at ur branch.
                                    *The complaint will be registered on sbicms website https://cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/ in case they say they dont know wat to do.
                                    *You can also register the complaint on ur own but u will need the atm reciept, as it has all the details like ATM number, ATM TXN number.(Havent tried it myself but just visited the complaint registration page.)
                                    *I[censored] do not have it, then u will need to give complaint through bank only.
                                    *If you have entered the wrong card number, then u will have to register a amount retrieval request, which will be charged.

                                      State Bank of India / Debit Card — Providing credit ased debit card

                                      The following in quotes was my complaint to SBI:

                                      "Sir,
                                      With due respect I would like to inform you that I found rs800 short from my savings
                                      bank A/C when I withdrew rs300 from ATM with ID S1AN00024101 at 15:12hrs on 03/30/08. As per
                                      the best of my knowledge there was rs1340.80 left in my A/C after I withdrew rs300 from the
                                      same ATM at 18:29hrs on 03/28/08. Moreover on updating my passbook I found that on
                                      29/03/2008 rs800 have been debited from my A/C.

                                      There after when I gave a written complaint to the branch about the same, they just
                                      provided the description about the same on my comlaint letter without any statement or so.
                                      They stated that "Amount rs800 withdraw through ATM disbersed but not debited in the A/C.
                                      As per report the amount has been adjusted on 29/03/08".

                                      Now my question is this that, what the bank authority will say do I have to follow?
                                      There is no mention from where or which ATM, on which date or at which time I withdrew
                                      rs800. Moreover I would be very happy to know that wheather SBI is offering its customers
                                      credit based debit cards? That you withdraw money at a certain time and SBI will debit the
                                      same after sometime or days or weeks. I am also paying annual ATM charge for using the same
                                      service, so why should I face the problem? Instead of taking annual ATM charges you take interest
                                      same as credit cards.

                                      Now the bottomline is I need a detail description of my all transactions and why
                                      rs800 was deducted from my A/C without any prior intimation.

                                      But very sadly from no where I got response and this is going on from last 1 month.

                                      I went to kathgodam on 24.03.2009 and I select withdrawal from kathgodam railway station ATM booth for 900.00 but I have got rupees 400.00.only from the ATM machine .

                                      But ATM booth iussued silip was showing the withdrawal for rupees 900.00.that means my account debited with the same and I have not got the full amount.

                                      When I came back to moradabad and checked my account balance with bank it was showing the withdrawal of 900.00.

                                      Please advice me what shall I do in this regards

                                      Kindly provide me with some suggestion.

                                        I Mr. R K Nayak having a saving bank Account holder of SBI, Chatrapur, ORISSA and have used SBI BANK Debit card for withdrawing Rs. 4000 from my saving account – [protected] through ICICI BANK ATM (Comp Sciences Corp, Hyderabad) on date 09/09/2009 (Wednesday).
                                        Debit Card No –[protected]
                                        During this money transaction, it has been displayed with network error and the net amount Rs. 4000 has been deducted from saving account.
                                        ATM has not delivered any cash and receipt as well during this transaction.
                                        Note: I have withdrawn Rs 100 before this transaction and Rs 3000 after this transaction on date 09/09/2009 (Wednesday).
                                        Please be take necessary action to credit the amount back to my account now.
