HI ,I BOUGHT A LG SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE FREEZER FROM LG EMIRATES ,MODEL NUMBER GR-P 267DTQ ,THE ICE MAKER HAS HAD LITTLE USE AND THE FRIDGE FREEZER IS NOT VERY OLD ,AND WHEN I WENT TO USE IT THE OTHER DAY THE SPIRAL PART THAT CRUSHES THE ICE HAS BROKEN AWAY FROM THE DRAW,ALSO DUE TO IT BEING BROKEN THE SPIRAL PART HAS CRACKED THE FRONT OF THE CASING ON THE ICE BANK ...I HAVE CONTACTED LG EMIRATES ON 2 OCCASIONS ASKING FOR A REPLACEMENT PRICE FOR THE COMPLETE ICE BANK PART AND COST OF SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA AND HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS.I AM WANTING TO REPLACE THIS PART AS WE ARE HAVING A LARGE PARTY IN FEBUARY ,THIS IS WHY I CONTACT YOU AS SOON AS IT HAPPENED SO THERE WAS SUFFICENT TIME FOR THE PART TO BE SENT OUT BUT AS THE TIME IS NOW PASSING AND NO REPLY I AM BECOMING VERY CONCERNED THAT I HAVE NOW BOUGHT THIS BEAUTIFUL LOOKING FRIDGE FREEZER WITH NO SUPPORT FROM THE COMPANY ,I AM STILL TO REPLACE MY SPLIT SYSTEM AIRCONDITIONER WHICH WILL BE OF A HUGE AMOUNT DUE TO NEEDING A LERGE UNIT WITH 4 HEADS BUT AM SERIOUSLY THINKING THAT GOING WITH LG WOULD BE A MISTAKE ...I HOPE AFTER ISSUEING THIS COMPLAINT THAT SOMEONE CONTACTS ME TO GET THIS PROBLEM RESSOLVED OR I WILL REFER THE MATTER TO THE DEPT OF FAIR TRADING .THANKYOU SHARON Was this information helpful? |
