Dear Sir,

I brought Scoda AT Laura from your dealer Gurudev Motors, Trichy in 2009 September, The car no is TN48M9199 is very good and I am enjoying self driving this car.
The only and important issue I have is with the head light where the current power is 55/60, In Indian road conditions this is not enough as you must be aware that all the car owners in India including your previous car model Octavia have the option of changing the headlight bulb to 90/100 immediately.
I also contacted your dealer to change the headlight to 90/100 but they said that it is not possible at there is no option, I even enquired to change the headlight from other car workshops and they said that if I change the bulb headlight it will burst.
Because of this I have limited the use of this car only in the day time and I am using my other car during nights even for a short trip in the high way, If I use Laura because of the other vehicles light power I am unable to get a good view and I feel risky driving this car and my eyes are strained to the core.
Could you please provide a solution to change my head light through your dealer, if not I have no options other than to sell this car as i cannot afford to have a car which I can use only in day time, all the other manufacturers in India are giving this as a basic option. I am sure that this will be the feelings of most of the car owners and I have conformed this with a couple of other owners in Trichy. I kindly urge you to look into this issue and I am expecting a favourable reply ASAP.

Skoda Laura — HEADLIGHT BULB

Dear Sir,
I brought Scoda AT Laura from your dealer Gurudev Motors, Trichy in 2009 September, The car no is TN48M9199 is very good and I am enjoying self driving this car.

Dear Venkataraman,
I do agree to the problem you are facing. I would suggest you to go for projector head lamps with xenon at the same wattage ie of 55/60. You will get a very good throw of light and you wouldn't face any kind of problem of vision. And concerned about the heat, the heat will be the same as it is now and there wouldn't be any change in it. So you can go for xenon bulbs at the same wattage. Regards.

Better ask SKODA SERVICE Peoples to connect your headlight assembly with some special types of Relay... OR otherwise you go for
Outside market for your headlight problems.

Even some HID kits are available in Outside market to boost up your car Lighting.

Once i went to TOYOTA Service area and they showed me HID kit cost around RS 10, 000 and it's function works in both DIM and HIGH BEAMS
Even this is optional, you can connect the HID only for HIGH OR LOW BEAMS...

AVAIL THIS OPTION AND HAVE NICE DRIVE IN NIGHT

WEAR SEAT BELT WHILE DRIVING...

    As per below mail I have already informed to your Ahmedabad Director Mr. Jankar Solanki, Mr. Bhavesh (Employee of Ahmedabad, Torque Automotive Pvt. Ltd.) & Mr. Kalpit Vora (Workshop manager,Ahmedabad), that my car was Show room condition. Then also why is he (Mr. Jankar, Call received at 4.05pm from [protected]) asking permission to change AC's Climate controller & doing mental harassment to me repeatedly. Either by himself or by your customer care representative Mr. Sijwo (Exact name not able to identify). Received call from [protected] today at 4.25pm.



    Kindly do the needful as soon as possible and let my car return by Friday(Mr. Jankar said) as show room condition & also please stop doing mental harassment by Mr. Jankar Solanki.

    Dear Sir,

    My car was engrossed in water on 07/08/10 due to heavy rain. I called to Mr. Bhavesh and Mr. Rakesh on 08/08/10 @ your workshop, Ahmedabad. He informed me not to start car and inform to insurance company and take claim number & they will toe (break down) the car. The car was showroom condition when they toe the car on the same day. I called to insurance company. Claim number has been given. Claim number was:[protected]. Then car had been taken to your workshop and also I have give required documents like Original RC book, Original claim form, Policy zerox, Original Key etc. on 10/08/2010 at 2.45pm. Then on 11/08/2010 Surveyor Mr. Kuntal rao from TATA AIG – Gen. Insurance Co. Ltd. came for survey. He survey and said on phone, you will have to take back this claim as car is 100% ready. There isn’t any problem with A/C, heater, CD changer, paint damage, Sensor, Steering, and Wheels etc. everything is in working condition. Then I call to your workshop to send my car back. They give assurance to return my car in that particular week, but till 13/09/2010 I didn’t receive my car, after asking number of times in each week. So, I reached at your workshop on that date and I was shocked to see the condition of my car. It was totally damaged. Nothing was in working condition. After this much I get to know on 16/09/2010 and 23/09/2010 after receiving a letter from Mr. Kuntal Rao that even your company has lost original documents and so did not sent documents to insurance company. And so I got letter from Mr. Kuntal rao regarding missing documents. Now, I just want my car return any how asap.

    Yesterday I tried number of times to reach Gujarat Director Mr. Nirmai Sharma by phone, but he did not receive my phone. Before that I called to Mr. Jankar Solanki but he said he busy and will call later, Yet did not have call from him also.

    Today I talked with online customer service provider Mr. Deepak Mishra on [protected] and I just got complain number SAIPL – 10 – 10 – 02397.

    Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

    KUN AUTO PRIVATE LIMITED — PATHETIC SERVCE

    I purchased a Hyundai Accent Executive car from KUN AUTO COMPANY PRIVATE LIMITED, C-48 II Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai – 6000 102 vide Tax Invoice No. ACC[protected] dated 04th Oct-2008.

    Registration No. TN22 BX 2243

    As a CUSTOMER, I have been having my bitter times since the day I decided to buy this car from KUN Auto.

    1. As I finalized my decision to buy the Accent Executive, the Sales representative from KUN Auto promptly came home the same day to collect token advance of Rs.10, 000 on 15th Sep-2008 vide HDFC Cheque No. 244460 dated 15-Sep-2008.

    2. Full & final settlement was made on 23rd Sep-2008 for Rs.567, 098 (Rupees Five Lakhs Sixty Seven Thousand Ninety Eight) vide Cheque DD No. 880112 dated 18-Sep-2008.

    3. The KUN Sales team was very frequently visiting me till the full & final payment was made. After getting the 5.67 Lacs Cheque, I did not hear from them at all. It was me who was making calls everyday.

    4. The refund of my Rs.10, 000 happened only on 22nd Oct-2008 after a dozen calls & four emails from my end. Exactly after a month!!!

    5. I took delivery of the car on 03rd OCT-2008. I was given an Invoice on 20th Oct-2008 for Rs. 563, 021 (Including Accessories, Insurance & Life Time Tax). Now I am chasing KUN staff to ask what the difference of Rs. 4077.00 for? Now as a CUSTOMER, is it not my bare minimum right to check?

    6. Should I presume that KUN is playing a foul game with me! What has happened to my difference of Rs. 4077.00?

    7. Finally the biggest concern is the RC Book. I took delivery of the car on 03rd Oct-2008 and till date I have not received the RC Book! It is almost TWO months now & I am getting all the excuses from KUN.

    For your kind information, I am HYUNDAI CUSTOMER since 2004. Before this I owned a Hyundai Santro Xing XP, KA05MB 7225. Engine No. G4HD4E17248, Chassis No. MALAA51HR4M514372. You may please check & confirm this.

    Now as a CUSTOMER, may I request your intervention to check on why the customer service is so bad from KUN AUTO? If this I the way the Customers are treated, I am afraid that the brand will have a bad image.

    I know for sure, Hyundai is a very good brand who is always Customer Centric. Should you need any information, please feel free to revert back to me on the details mentioned below.

    Appreciate if you could investigate this matter and assist me on this at the earliest.

    Against Skoda’s Unethical Conduct

    Dear Fellow,

    I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

    I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

    I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

    Await your revert and support to reclaim what is rightfully ours.

      Dear Sir,

      I have received an email in my email account regarding job offering in skoda india limited ,i received email from the email address [protected]@tech-center.com.and they were asking for an security amount as deposit(rs-8450) and i also called the phone no spoke with person named subash harshverdhan (senior manager-hrd) and he told me to deposit the money and then send the confirmation as email and sms but when i went to bank to deposit the money the act was closed .so i came to knopw that this is a fraud so kindlycheck on this and please get this resolved because i saw many complaints on thus web page abt the same.

        The mail Id and Phone numbers given belong t the Criminals and not of Tata Group The same Scam Mail/SMS was being sent earlier in the name of Hitachi, Videocon, Wipro, Sansui, Godrej, Sony, Bajaj, HCL, IFB etc.

        Unlike you, many innocent people simply send money though the money is to be paid in the name of some individual and not in company name. If they, first search in Google about the background of the offer they would see the complaints posted and it helps them from getting trapped.

        Its really foolish for people to pay money in an individual’s name when job offer is said to be from a company! Consumers have to protect themselves by sharing information In Our Country Police acts very late only after people who lost money pester them with complaints.

        Even then for this type of Cyber Crime police action is never prompt and they allow criminals to cheat people. Also anyone can notice the fact the Mail is not official mail ID of the Company which will end with companyname.com

        Also any website link has to be a page in actual company website but in fraud offers it will be Fake websites created by the Cyber Criminals. (People need to verify with actual company website not fictitious websites created by criminals.

          There are so many internet scams registered similar to this and this one is 100% true to my knowledge. Act smart and don't be a victim to this fraud. If you have received this email you can forward the same to the Cybercrime department for their prompt action.

          I have received this MSG at 18:40pm in 25/10/10. I sure that this joining is totally fraud. in this offer letter the contact no. is different from which offer letter, I have received. if any person is get this message, ignore it.

          I have recently had a terrible experience with Skoda which has costed me a lot of money, harassment and still an unreliable Skoda Superb car. Astonishingly, The Skoda Company is hands-in-gloves with its Dealerships & Authorized Workshops, who are given a free-hand to exploit customers and fleece them mercilessly by Skoda itself.

          I empathize with the similar exploitation inflicted on you by Skoda and hence urge you to not let it just be at the hands of foreign companies, who think of India as a dumping ground and Indian Customers a bunc of weak, uneducated .

          I am creating a forum of 100 similar sufferers who can together jointly address our issues with Skoda to apt regulatory, media, public and rating agencies till we get a resolution.

            This is in regard to my Skoda Fabia car.The car Engine No is CEV003620 AND Chassis NO is TMBBHG5J19GO10598.

            Stated Below i have highlited my bitter experience with Skoda Service Centre.

            My mother Mrs.Jyoti Agarwal is the owner for a Black Skoda Fabia bearing registration number TN 09 BB 0986.This car was purchased last year 2009 september.

            However my car met with an Accident on 4th September where the underchassis was damaged and due to the same there are all kinds of weird sounds in running condition.

            I called the emergency breakdown service on the same day ,however he arrived only after 3 good hours ,after closely examining the car ,the service man advised me to take it to the vadapalani body shop for repairs.
            On the 6th of septemeber i take my car to the workshop and fortunately the guy from the insurace company happens to be there at the same time (Icici insurance-My car is insured with them).The service personnel tell me the good news that he will have the insurance guy to have a look at the car.
            The fun part comes here ,The accountant in charge of the body workshop assuming that i dont understand tamil(I Think he took me for some foreign return-My colored hair and skin) and he advised the service personnel Mr.Prem Kumar to tell me to come another time and also that the car will not be checked by the surveyor without even checking with the insurance guy if he hold the time to check the same.Once they realised that i understood what they had said in tamil they then went on to double check with me if i understood ,still these guys no bit of respect for their customers.

            I had to wait a good 9 days from 6thseptember to get a call that my car has been surveyed and that the claim for the damages have been approved and that i need to make an interim payment of Rs 20-30 k so that gurudev motors can place an order for the spare parts with the factory at Aurangabad.

            I made a payment of RS 24 K on the 17th Of September at the Anna Salai Branch of Gurudev Motors,The person who serviced me at the time of purchase Miss.Priya helped me out with the same and assured me that Gurudev Motors Vadapalani will be intimated about the interim payment,however i have also personally informed Mr.Prem Kumar(The Service Personnel) on the same.

            He assured me the car will be ready by the last week of Septemeber.
            However i called in by 27th September to check on the status of my car,to my horror i was informed that no work has been started on my car and also the service personnel Mr.Prem has resigned.
            I was very annoyed and i called in Miss.Priya and informed her of the same.She informed me that i will recieve an intimation from the Vadapalani branch shortly on the car.
            One Mr.Murali(Another service Advisor) called in and assured me that my car will be ready in 10 days time and that he is taking car of Mr.Prem Kumar's cases as Mr.Prem had resigned from the job.

            Ten days later i called Gurudev Motors Vadapalani to check if my car is ready howver this time the same Mr.Murali informs me that my car will take another 10 days to get ready as they have not recieved the consignment of spare parts and also gives me the excuse that gurudev Motors ,Vadapalani has appointed a new receptionist/Secretary and that the request letter or mail for spare pats have not been sent out as yet.

            I was too damn irritated by the false promises of these service guys and i called in Gurudev Motors Anna Salai to speak to the Director to inorm him on the same.

            Mr.Paras called me and listened to all my issues and gave me an assurance that i will recieve a call from Guruev Motors Vadapalani and that work will be completed on my car at the earliest.

            However Mr.Murali calls in and informs me that work will start shortly on the car and that by this Thursday(i.e October 7th)i will recieve a call from him to inform me on the status and delievery of the car.Today is 9th October i have recieved no call or any intimation from Gurudev Motors..My call for help or appeal falls on deaf years.

            It only looks like skoda is intrested in selling cars but not servicing the requirements/needs of their customers.
            If i book a skoda fabia today i will have its delievery in a week or less than that howver spare parts take months or years this theory is shocking.

            On as of Today , I am still waiting. For a reply from Skoda India on my car,

            I Called Gurudev motors on three occasions today to know on the status of my car and all three times they have taken my mobile number but nobody has called,this is the customer service I have been provided so far,nobody is taking any responsibility or care whatsoever ..,.,,

            When i went to meet Mr.Paras The managing Director of Gurudev Motors ,He himself is not able to give a committment on when they have can deliever my Skoda Car and they continue to make excuses in spite of paying them Rs 24000 advance for repairs. and having waited already for 42 days.

            I request you to kindly look into this matter seriously and take action on the same.

                I have purchased Skoda Fabia (classic -1.4 TDI ) from JMD Auto India (P) Limited on August 30, 2010 and received the car delivery on September 14, 2010. I have noted some discrepancy as mentioned below and need urgent clarifications from Skoda.

                1. Owner manual = Received the owner manual for Skoda Fabia Combi car of foreign version left hand drive??.
                2. Painting Warrantee = As per the owner manual car painting warrantee is for three years, however as per rubber stamp affix, it is for two years – Is the color warrantee given by company or dealer? Please confirm.
                3. Anticorrosion Warrantee = As per the owner manual car anticorrosion warrantee is for twelve years, however as per rubber stamp affix, it is only for two years? – Is the anticorrosion warrantee given by company or dealer? Please confirm.
                4. Cooling = Ac vent in front glove box is missing.

                5. Rear window defroger is missing.

                When I have taken a test drive as well as i have seen the classic model in show room it was available but in my car the facility no.4 & 5 is not available understand from dealer company has suddenly discontinue this facility in particulary in classic model and now available only in higher end model. I lodge the complaint with skoda as well as with dealer but no reply received till date.

                I need a clarification from skoda on point no.1 to 3 and 4 & 5 need to be given by company at the earliest.

                  I am having a Skoda-Fabia car and this is my 3rd car from Skoda before I had a octavia and a laura.
                  I met with an major accident at highway 3 months before.
                  The car was towed to gurudev motors ,vadapalani,chennai and after 3 days,the attendent from gurudev motors called me and confirmed that the surveyor from insurance company [ ICICI ] have examined and have have to pay an advance of Rs.50000/ to start the work .
                  I have just escaped narrowly from a major accident and I don't know why they ask the advance amount for the work and I told them i will pay the entire amount at the time of delivery.But they refused.
                  Now, I have paid Rs.50000/ to them and now they called me today and told that I have to pay another Rs.50000 for the work to get started or I can take back the car and look for some other garage.
                  If I have to pay some advance for this work, then I can go to the local mechanic , there is no need of a dealer service.
                  I have never seen such a worst service company like Gurudev motors.
                  I am thinking of calling the insurance company tomorrow and take the cash back from gurudev motors and tow the vehicle to some other garage.

                  Skoda Fabia — worst service

                  I am complianing again & again about the same matter, but no one is replying me. what the service is this? what is benefit of buying these costly cars? who is responsible for this? If I knew this I would never purchased this company's car(Skoda Fabia). The car has not yet covered 10, 00 kms & has given me trouble 100 of times one month before i had sent my car to its dealer or servicing centre, as its engine was noising & heating up very early.And when i bought it from there after its repairing Its engine has heated & a loud sound came out of it & we were so scared. I am so disappointed with the same.
                  Kindly give attention to this matter otherwise...
                  which model of skoda do you have. What do you think is the problem, is it the built quality or after sales service.

                    I am Ankit Tayal based from Bhavnagar. My car Skoda superb No. CH 0153, stopped in Ahmedabad Highway due to megatronic failour. The showroom of Ahmedabad refused to give us any service. After requesting them for 4 to 5 hours as our car was in the middle of the road and cannot be moved due to megtronic failour they accepted to send a engineer.
                    My car is in Ahmedabad Showroom since 18th August and today is 9 oct almost two months I am calling the dealer for my car. There is no response for my car and the worst I have be calling customer car numerous times but they fail to give me any feedback infact they didn’t response me once also.
                    Am totally pissed off as the way Skoda India is taking this complaint lightly as they have put my life in jeopardy every time. My driver has been in the showroom twice and came back as they didn’t respond them.
                    I am looking forward a help from your end. Sir you can even call me on my mobile no. [protected]

                      This to inform that we are highly unhappy with your sales service. I am experiencing tremendous difficulty driving my Skoda Laura. The gear lever of the vehicle has become very stiff and hence gear changing is difficult. The service manager at Jia Auto instructed me to change the gear oil which had no effect.

                      Now, they have advice me to wait for two weeks as the material un-available. I have been using this vehicle for the last three years and have only done 30294 kms.

                      This is unthinkable that a vehicle covering only 30294 kms. will develop such a snag and becomes non operational for two weeks.

                      Please treat this complain seriously as I am facing great difficulty due to non availability of my vehicle.

                        Technical hitch: Skoda petrol Fabia - Me one of the victim.
                        Like most of the SKODA FABIA 1.2 MPI owner I am too facing performance problem with my car.
                        We had purchased a Skoda Fabia in July 2009 (the vehcile is still under warranty).The car is having air contioning problem, problem with Window switches since we have purchased the car.With AC the car is very sluggish & the brakes become hard at times. Overall the car performance is in pathetic situation.
                        We have had it serivced from the dealers of Skoda from time to time.

                        The dealer claims to have sloved the problem (though we do not have any proof to substatiate this) but the problem has not been rectified.And now the company has closed its dealership here so i cant do anything and left with a defective car.

                        I have written emails to Company Customer Care but there is nothing being done to rectify the problems.

                        This is the worst car and Customer care I have ever seen.I wish I had not bought this car.

                        I strongly agree. My Fabia 1.4TDI engine has failed in less than 37, 000K and needs overall replacement. In spite of logging customer compliant and sending reminders on mail or on phone has literally no response. Skoda is one of the worst cars at least for Indian market both from product quality for Indian conditions and also the Customer Care.

                          I have a Skoda Octavia from Avelar motors, Goa.

                          Recently I gave my car for repairs at Avelar Motors, Goa.The said dealer charged me extra for "Bumper Cover", which my Insurance company told me that the said part was only repaired and not replaced. However I was charged Rs. 8,000-10,000 for this part.

                          As soon as this was brought to the notice of the dealer, they agreed to refund my money. This was around 17th August 2010. Till date I have not received my refund. When ever I call, they say that they will courier the cheque, but its been over a month now, I'm still waiting for my refund cheque.

                          I have been patient enough.But now I think its high time I approach the Consumer Forum & even put it on the newspaper about, how Avelar Motors, a dealer of Skoda CHEATS its customers.

                            CAR BUYERS BEWARE ,SKODA CAR MANUFACTURERS AND DEALERS & LAWYERS NEXUS !!!

                            Repairs Rs. 5 lacs.!!!!

                            Dear correspondent

                            I need to highlight the nexus between the Skoda car and the dealers... I would want to tell you about how I was victimized by the Skoda manufacturer as well as dealer...
                            The Manufacturer sells the faulty car and the dealer further extorts money in the name of service.

                            I was a proud owner of a Skoda Superb, Car registration no MH 04 DB 7000 - 15th. FEB 2007. For about Rs. 25 lacs.

                            Right from the day I had bought the car I have faced some or other problems with the car, At which the service mechanics would say that this Skoda Superb car has a common manufacturing defect, that if the car is parked in open or under the tree, the drain pipe being very narrow the water would not drain out and that would damage all the above. I used to take utmost care religiously, but still there would be problems with the car.Even during the warranty period my Automatic gearbox, Radiator, fuel pump - had all given problems at some time or other All the problems were rectified during the service in warranty.

                            Problem started after my warranty got over. In DEC 2009 I got the car serviced in JMD service center ( authorized by SKODA ). But while taking the car home I was getting the display on the car to be taken to service center. Very next day I had to take back the car to Service center. The JMD representatives said that the Car is ok but radiator has the problem. And the replacement of the radiator would cost you. Since I had got the radiator changed in warranty from Autobahn. 6 months back and the spare should be under the spare 1 year warranty, The car was sent to Autobahn by the JMD service center on my request.

                            Autobahn repaired the car and sent a bill of about 16000/- and would not release my car until I paid the amount. I went to take the delivery of my car and found in the trial run that the there was very little pick up and constant jerks, to which they promised to do rectify the faults in couple of days. They did not revert back for next 15 days, however I called them to ask about my car to which they replied that due to the radiator leakage the Oil and water was getting mixed and has damaged the automatic gear Box, which shall cost approximately about 5 lakhs. To which I protested then when I had given the car the Gearbox was working and if the gearbox had spoilt in Service center. It has to be the Autobahn responsibility. Again after 10 days they said that the gear box is working fine but the problem is with the turbo which will cost about 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Once again I argued the same points that if the damage has occurred at Autobahn and they are responsible for it. Again after 10 days the Autobahn calls up said that the gearbox and turbo are both fine but there is problem with the fuel pump. Which will cost me Rs. 75000 to 1.25 lakhs.. By this time I was so irritated with their unprofessional nature of the work and realized they they were trying to extort money from me starting from Rs. 5 lakhs to 1 lacs...

                            I decided to take legal action. I contacted the lawyer Mr. Johnson John. Who advised me to lodge a complaint with the consumer court and I would get the decision within 3 to 6 months maximum. He filed my case with the consumer court and my first hearing was on 19th. June. At 11.00am. I was present in the court before time and my lawyer was no where to be traced... He only called up in the evening to tell me that the court has given a date of August 7th. I was in the court the whole day and he had never come to court, and when he was expecting the decision within 3 to 6 months I questioned him how come he got the date so far as August 7th. At this he began to give vague reasons and also tried to discourage me from fighting the case and settle it out of the court with the Autobahn. I contacted another lawyer friend of mine and he said the lawyers are often bought over by these dealers and that I had strong case and should continue the fight. The consumer has no other way but to write to media and forums on the net..

                            My case was in the consumer court and I received a letter on the 19th. May 2010. Inviting me for the joint trial of the car with a payment of Rs. 40,200/- only... I was surprised right from 5 lacs to 40,000/-. I called them and asked them what if my car once again after taking it home will come up with other faults, I asked them that I need Skoda to certify that my car is in perfect working condition and none of my spares are fiddled with , then only I will take the delivery. To which they never replied. Once again I sent them a mail today on 30th. June requesting them to get it certified from skoda.

                            From my experience I observe that there is a very Strong nexus between the Skoda Auto India pvt. Ltd, Aurangabad and Autobahn Enterprise, Mumbai. From sources I have learnt that Autobahn has a stake in the Skoda Auto India pvt. Ltd. And thats the reason the Skoda India does not respond to the complaints from the customer.

                            I had written them a complaint on 19th April 2010. About my concerns and they washed their hands saying since the car is out of warrenty they are no longer responsible.

                            Also I have learnt that about few hundred Skoda superb sold in Mumbai majority have faced the problems with the service and spares... This is clearly a faulty car and the Nexus between the Dealers and Skoda India Ltd. Are cheating the customers. I have seen numerous complaints on the net. And also heard that one of the dealer was dismissed by Skoda recently. But they giving a blind eye to complaint from Auto bahn as they are also stake holders in the company. These is a common practice of the SKODA service centres to extort money from innocent car owners.

                            It is also further learnt from the sources that Mr. Choksey who is the director of Autobahn. Is having several cases against him regarding the malpractices... And have behind the bars for a while...

                            If Toyota car had faulty breakes they recalled all the cars worldwide... And in India everything goes to deaf ears.. This happens only in India

                            I am sending all the documents as attachments, I have already suffered, and will fight them tooth and nails, but atleast as a responsible media, you can make the consumers more aware. If you need any clarifications kindly feel free to contact me...and would cooperate in every possible way to take these people to task

                              i have given my skoda octavia(KL-01-AX-5400) for first service at 9th september.
                              after service ,when i got my car and on my way back the car stopped two times at the highway.
                              and the next day morning my car dint start.
                              they came to service the next day
                              but it was so poor service that the mechanic doesn't know actually what to do.
                              they first said there is a problem with the diesel filter later said that its the relays problem.
                              in the evening they somehow repaired mi car.
                              but after 3-4 days the problem continued again the car dint start.
                              there was no problem till mi first service

                                but unfortunately i am using skoda octavia and also skoda fabia but now the issue is not even a dealer is ready to buy the car,i think i need to dispose it off in mayapuri junk market...

                                  I bought a Skoda Laura from channel motors Haldwani (Uttarakhand) on 09.march 2010, registration no UK04H5850, chassis no. TMBCSA1Z8AA150444. Some noise from left excel was coming and i send my car to Jai Auto, Mathura road, Delhi on 09 September 2010 on jobcard no. 3431 as i was on a trip near Delhi. where Jai Auto says that your car got repaired outside authorise service station and have some local parts inside excel and hence your warranty is void. The part costs Rs.23000/-. But it is not true.
                                  I also launched a complaint at Skoda customer care with complaint no. TR6766 but got not a single response till now.
                                  Now either Channel Motors Haidwani have changed excel or many other unknown parts before delivering it or Jai Motors Delhi is saying this in interest of selling his parts but still my excel is not replaced and the car is located at Jai Auto Delhi's work shop.
                                  Plz solve my problem as soon as possible.

                                    Skoda Superb - A disaster
                                    We bought the new Skoda superb 3.6 FSI from GiriRaj Motors, Gurgaon, the best vehicle, according to Skoda that they have ever made, in May this year. We were so excited to finally get our hand on the Skoda Superb, after waiting for so long. We had a lot of expectations as it had cost us heavily; we were all charged up and were in high spirits for this tryst with this dream machine. Initially for about three months it ran smooth, although with some minor hiccups, but one day in August the Skoda vehicle stopped in the middle of the road while crossing a small water logging on the busiest roads of Gurgaon, the road near the Golf Course. The car just stopped on the road where huge traffic was passing alongside. As the car was just three month old we did not wish to meddle with it and hence immediately informed the Skoda Authorized Service Station which brought a recovery vehicle and the vehicle was transported to the Skoda service center. We have got the suggestion from the service center now, that the engine of the Skoda vehicle has extensive damages and the same has to be replaced. The approximate expenditure would be approximately 11.5 Lacs. They say that the damage is due to water logging and hence cannot be covered under warranty. Imagine 11.5 Lacs in repair of a vehicle brought for 28Lacs within 3 Months, isn’t it ridiculous?
                                    We approached the authorities at Skoda, its regional Head after sales, to tell him the story and solicit some support, but in vein, as he refused saying that the same cannot be covered under warranty as the vehicle was plying in the water logged on the road. We have written back to him saying that this Skoda vehicle was purchased just 3 months back, was being driven by a driver who is driving the automatic vehicles since more than 5 Years, and the vehicle was not the only one going through the water on the road, there were several other vehicles waiting behind to cross and crossing along side. This only indicates that this vehicle “Superb” has some manufacturing defect otherwise why have the other vehicles not reported the same problem? But we are sure he will not revert. I must mention here that we have tried reaching the officials of Skoda but they have not paid heeds to our efforts. They have been indifferent to us, their latest customers, who have joined them just 3 months back.
                                    I would say that the vehicle Superb is not meant for Indian roads. Looking into Indian conditions in rainy season, and sometimes otherwise as well, you cannot avoid crossing over a bit of water logging, that’s normal in India. If the vehicle cannot withstand these conditions then why was it introduced on Indian roads?
                                    While the vehicle with its engine dismantled is lying at the Service Center, we would solicit your suggestions as to what should be done in this situation as also alarm the prospective buyers of Superb against such disaster and also the un-empathetic attitude of the Skoda authorities towards their customers.

                                      I purchased a Fabia Elegance Petrol in May 2009. Initially, the central locking wasn't functioning & it was rectified. I had to face goof-up in RC book(mentioning the date of registration as Mar 2009 instead of May 2009), goof-up in Insurance policy mentioning it as Elegance diesel instead of Petrol & wrong mention of Cubic capacity. Innumerable calls & finally I had to personally take up the matter with Insurance provider & get it rectified. Noise while braking/hissing sound/rear wheel getting jammed was noticed in Oct 2009 & the all four brakes were cleaned & given back. I did not have much problem after that. However, after I gave the car for 1st free servicing in May 2010(12 months or 10000km whichever is earlier), the car developed a series of problems- cranking/rattling sound when brake pedals were depressed, stiffening of brake pedals, brakes not engaging due to this while unparking, brake pedal depressing with unevenness, etc. What ensued was a tale o[censored]nending compalints, chain of emails, innum erable phone calls & lot of visits to the service centre. Careless attitude, highly unprofessional approach, concealing of information & misleading the customer by giving different versions each time on part of Tafe Access ltd, Hosur raod, Bangalore was not something I expected from a high repute SKODA company. The CRM went to the extent of telling he will send his technical person to guide me in how to use the brakes properly suggesting that the problem may be due to faulty driving. Finally, I was told that there MAY HAVE BEEN a problem with the bearing & they have replaced the same. They aren't even ready to admit it clearly. I am made to wonder why I had to shell out a bomb for a small car(7.6 lakhs) of low mileage, poor performance, poor pickup & pathetic customer service while I could have got much better cars for a lesser price. I had a Santro Xing earlier for 6 years & before that, a Maruti Omni for 7 years but I never faced any such problems either in the vehicle or in the service provided by the companies.
                                      Hope people go through this compalint before investing in a SKODA car. I did not do it & am facing the consequences.

                                        I bought a Skoda Superb about on 20th August (Friday) from a Skoda dealership in Gurgaon India- Giriraj motors and the front tyre had a massive leak within the first 40 kms of my ride home on day one. I had called the contact person at the dealership on the same day and lodged a complaint about this and was asked to get the tyre in for inspection on Monday which is what I did.

                                        After so many days of being unable to use my vehicle due to no spare being available, I finally had a closure from them today (11 days from date of the flat) that they would not be able to do anything as the tyre needs to be replaced and I have to do it on my own cost.


                                        My relationship with Skoda has gotten off to a poor start and left a very poor taste in my mouth. My first ride in the car with the family turned out to be a miserable expedition with me having to change the tyre in the rain, with the excitement giving way to disappointment.

                                        While its possible that the car tyre got burst on day one due to something on the road within the first 40 kms of its life, the probability of it being damaged during the time of the car’s transportation is much higher! I did not stop from the Dealership to my home - so not sure at what point the side walls of the tyre can get slashed with no damage to the car whatsoever!!

                                        I firmly believe that the car tyre’s wall got damaged during transportation of the car and got weakened. This weakened wall finally gave way on day after I drove the car 40 kms. Or else, Skoda believes in supplying such inferior quality tyres that cannot sustain even 40km of city driving. In addition to the fact, they choose to give a spare tyre which is not an Alloy wheel, that too for such an expensive car.


                                        Their behaviour and service befits a car that costs as much as a Nano!!

                                        For all potential Skoda customers out there...BEWARE...the dealerships that Skoda has appointed are only interested in selling the vehicle...after that they would rather not have anything to do with you!
