[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Irresponsible behaviour of SBI,Hal Branch,Bangalore

Sir,
I am holding an account in SBI ,Hal branch ,Bangalore
While i was withdrawing money from a btm layout ATM power went and 400 Rs was deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
so i launched a complain against this more than 10 times in SBI hall brach,SBI head office.
I also submitted more than 3 applications and I personally met with the Manager and Concerned Transiction Holding team of the HAL branch.But Nothing happend From the date of Incident (15/07/2007).
Now if i try to call the manager of this branch he says"Forget that money ....we cannot do anything for you"
So please suggest me what to do???
If we as a proffesionals working in Big firms of India are Cheated By this Core Indian Bank then how one can think of giving correct ness to normal people.

I would like to log a complain with you regarding the harrasment and insufficient cooperation by the Branch manager of SBI ( MEG -branch)Bangalore for the past 1 and half year. My mother draws a pension from the same branch as she is the widow of my father who the country for his lifetime.The pension has been revised by th goverment from 1996 & her pension has not been revised since then, even though she has been running to the bank for the records and the papers, the branch manager has refused to help. This is blunt cheating by the bank, and I must confirm that the SBI officials really needs a formal training as to how to behave with the civilized world.Her reference and any further information that you require lies with me.I look forward for your assistance, please respond as soon as possible.

Unprofessiaonal Behaviour - SBI staff..

I just thought to put this in an email and let you know how I have been treated in your bank. This is really upsets, when someone sitting on a front desk or a customer desk, behaves very unprofessionally.

I have an account with SBI, at Personal Banking Branch, Bund Garden, Pune. And I would like to bring your attention and wanted to let you know, how your people treat people in a branch. I just can’t believe the kind of behavior and customer service tendered in your branch. When India is proud for this bank and SBI is taking a lead on banking sector, they are failing on basic factors. Even though, my account is in a personal banking branch, they do not care about us. The lady sitting on cash deposit counter just thrown my deposit slip as I have entered amount to be deposited of Rs.49, 000/- and asked me to re-enter it and go there and see the board for correct amount. I changed the form came back to same counter and she told me I can not take out station cash in this counter, when I asked ok, which counter I should go? She simply says, I do not know.

Well, I thought let me deposit the money in my account and later I can do online. I went again and mistakenly I kept my hand on the glass partition, and suddenly she is saying keep your hand down. This is really a bizarre attitude of her and she can ask people politely or professionally.

The way you are treating people, definitely people will avoid coming to your bank. And that too in a personal banking branch, where we are paying Rs.5000 as minimum deposit to get a good service but we have been treated unprofessionally. I will definitely close the account and will go to different bank altogether though but, I just thought to express my frustration and your internal staff’s attitude. This thing really makes us stop recommending SBI to anyone.

There are thousands of people who may be facing this or treated unprofessionally, but I am not sure if you are getting the feedbacks or not. As a true customer, I would like to provide my feedback and will see if it is improving or not.

This is to your notice I am NRI working in kuwait, and applied for SBI Home loan(Kanpur) but the person whose from Loan department name Nidhi Gaur is not replying me promptly, whenever i use to give her mail she use to give some of my mails reply in tw-three days.(this is strange in this centuary where technology is booming)
We are Indians so obviuosly we should give first preference to our home National Bank.
Everybody is saying about the poor service but i have faith with our National Banks because for some fool Peoples our National banks getting poored.

(SUB: Since 3 month back Amount of 20000 /- got withdrawn automatically from the account due to SBI link failure, while making the transaction through ATM, but there is no response from SBI.)

Respected Sir,

Myself Sushreemala Sethi, the account holder of SBI, Indira Nagar Branch, Bangalore-Karnataka;
I beg to state that, my ATM card is with my Mother, who resides at Balugaon, Dist-Khurdha, Orissa, Pin-752030.

On Sept 4th '2008 at Balugaon branch ATM, in between 5:30pm-6pm, she made the transaction to withdraw Rs 200000(twenty Thousand Only), but at the same time the SBI link got failed, and the transaction was also failed; But Rs 20000 automatically debited from the Account.

I visited my Indira Nagar Branch and explain the whole scenario and handed over my application, but the Bank Account people told me that, only Balugaon Branch can help me to get that money back as the ATM has been used there, then they forwarded my application to Balugaon Branch through post. I took the Xerox copy of the same application and faxed it to Balugaon. My Brother SindhuRaj Sethi handed over that application at SBI, Balugaon branch. Bank People replied that, they are waiting for some ATM transaction documents which will come from the head office of SBI. Through that they can trace it and will return that amount. Even there we got the duration from the Balugaon Branch people that, it will take another 1-2 week to get the clear picture .That means almost 3week will be taken to trace the scenario and another one week to credit the amount. All total one month will require getting back the amount.

Again after 1month Balugaon officer confirmed us that only INDIRA NAGAR Branch will return our amount, and then they give us one letter and informed us to produce that letter to INDIRA NAGAR (Bangalore) Branch, when I produced that letter to INDIRA NAGAR Branch, they are replying that why BALUGAON Branch is playing with you, they are suppose to take this matter seriously and have to return the amount, as the transaction has been happened in their Branched ATM. Then again INDIRA NAGAR Branch send a letter to Balugaon branch and ensured us that now after getting this letter Balugaon Branch will return the amount. After 2-weeks of letter sent when my brother went to Balugaon branch and asked for the letter .Balugaon branch people are saying they have not got any letter.

Balugaon branch have told that in there database there is no excess amount of 20000 is showing.
Now I’m asking to all the SBI officers, then where that amount gone. Who is responsible to give this amount? Where this link failed money in SBI going.20000 is not a small amount, which a customer can easily forget; who is responsible to help me in this matter.

This is almost touching to 3 Months and I don’t have any news about the money. I have already sent more than 12 mails, have visited branch more than 20 times; have given call to customer care more than 20 times ; but found that none of a single SBI employee is giving any proper attention to this case and not even have time to speak to the customer and try to resolve this case.

In getting Twenty Thousand, i have already losted 2 to 3 Thousands in phone calls, mails, fax, speed post, transportation etc etc.

This is really very much inconvenient treatment to the SBI Customers. Since SBI is one of the reputed and biggest bank of our country with maximum customer's, and if customers are relying on such a reputed bank, then bank should also provide as much as convenience to its customer in every aspects.

Kindly accept my application, and take this case with high PRIORITY. Kindly suggest Balugoan Bank officers to send emergency letter asking about the ATM transaction documents from the head office of SBI, and investigate this matter as soon as possible, and credit my 20000 on my account. I need this amount very urgent. Sir I will be very much grateful, if you kindly take some necessity steps to help me in getting my money back.

Yes sir, its happen to me also. I swiped my debit card for shopping(Rs.1400), but they have taken twice money from my account. i lodged 2 complaints and more than 5 times i consulted concerned officer in the RT Nagar branch.its been more than 3 months, till now i didn't got any response.
i am yet to get my revised defence pension thro sbi

I had deposited the Income Tax challan for clearing for Rs.45000/- dt. 15/12/08 in State Bank of India, Nehru Place Branch, New Delhi - 110019. I received the bank token no.12163 & challan collection date was mentioned on 22/12/08, but till date i did not get the challan. after dt. 22/12/08, I went to the bank 4-5 times but i did not get any response from them.

While seaching the challan i was told by Mr. Deshmukh Das (clearning Incharge) that he does't have challan with him & was very rude with me. I had to see the chief branch Manager Mr. R.K. Arya who immediately called Mr. Deshmukh & was asked to search the challan. It was to my surprise that the said challan came out from Mr. Deshmukh's table. He was telling me you can go & register the complain against me if you can. He is threating to me. till now my Income Tax challan has not been sent for clearing. This is a share harrasment to the customer. Your intervention is immediately required.

i want a quick action against Mr. Dashmukh Das the staff of the bank is so rude, customer satisfaction should be priority.

I Went to SBI Guwahati Airport Branch, to Deposit Money to My Account and My Friends to, I wanted to Take 2 Tokens at the Time of Opening of Bank But The Person who Distribute the Token He Did Not Given Me 2 Token, & When I Went to Deposit the Money to Counter, that Person Did Not Accepted 2 Deposit at a Time From Me and Telling Me System Did Not Accept, But Whereas Two Days Before I Deposited in 3 Different A/c at a Time With Only Single Token, and Again I My Brother Request Him That Sir Please Accept Our Money and Deposit in our Account But The person Refuse to Take money, He accepted Some Other Person Money in Front of Me Without token, Same Problem Where Arise Some Day Before With Some Other People Where as IM Present at That Time and I Know That Person also, The Dirtiest Service of The National Bank Is SBI For Which people have to Waste their Full Day In Bank For Depositing & Withdrawing money and the Employees of SBI Guwahati Airport Branch Not Good With Their Customers That’s Why People are not willing to Open Accounts in SBI & Now a Days they are Moving to Private Bank, only Because of this kind of Service, If these Kind of Problem arise again with me I will go to Consumer forum and RBI.
Hi everyone i have opened my ACCOUNT IN SBI on NOVEMBER28th 2008 and after one month 5days i got my ATM CARD finally..now from the2nd of this month am going to SBI GOVERNMNET GENERAL HOSPITAL everyday for the PINNUMBER they are saying it may take a month to get my PIN NUMBER...the most hilarious thing is there is another branch here in LAKSHMIPURAM in same GUNTUR..on the day of ACCOUNT opening itself they are giving DEBITCARD and PINNUMBER too..when i asked the GENERAL HOSPITAL BRANCH MANAGER about this..his expresiions said who the hell are u?cant i know whats happening around me?can i make call and prove you are wrong?i expressed ya u make a call..then he called and got reply saying that they have been doing it from 20 days...he ended the call and said..YOU WAIT FOR 1WEEK THEN I WILL TELL WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING...this is the pathetic situation in SBI branch GUNTUR GENERAL HOSPITAL...THE MANAGER OF THE BRANCH IS NOT AT ALL AWARE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE NERABY BRANCH 1KM.AWAY HOW SILLY...and i dont know how many more days they will take to give a PIN NUMBER to my card..am deeply in trouble as am a HouseSurgeon and i dont have time to stand in long queues with the PassBook in my hand...IS THIS what the so called SBI says BANKING AT ITS BEST AND CONSUMER FIRST ????plz think about it and tell me what to do?if i need to again open an account it costs me more than 600Rs.and again conflict in the branches saying this applicant already applied by that name...plz think about it and tell me what to do?

I have saving Account in SBI Branch - Sultanpur Branch Code (00188). My Problem is i am applied ATM for our A/C no. [protected] (Akhilesh Mishra) before 10 month ago but i am not found ATM kit then telephonic talking Customer Care. The Customer Care officer tells us please block your previous ATM and give me a ticket no - [protected] and give new application with this ticket no but after 20 days ago no response. I am visit our branch 9 to 10 time but no any one officer support with us. Actually i am posted in Lucknow. I am apply Cheque Book for our A/C on date 27/12/2008 But the presented officer sad me your cheque book are dispatched in your home address but its not receive me till date.

Please suggest me can I closed our A/C in SBI or complain other space.

i agree with all this comments SbI is one of the most worst banking service in INDIA, and the people who are working also not committed. I am sure if this is the situation very soon SBI will face very big tragedy for the employers too...

This is Chittaranjan from Bnagalore holding an A/c of SBI form orissa.
While i was withdrawing money of Rs 500 from Marathalli ATM shuddenly I got the response slip where there was no response code hence I check my balance, where Rs 500 has been deducted from my account and i could not get any cash .
so i launched a complain against this in SBI Mrarathalli brach and Orissa branch as well.
I also submitted more than 3 applications and I personally met with the Manager and Concerned Transiction Holding team of the Both branches. But No action has been taken from the date of Incident (23/12/2008).

Its not about Rs 500.00. Its about the service which has given by the service provider (SBI).
I hope that you take attence on my problem and resolve it as soon as possible.
The tendency of the Govt. bank are like this only, that is way the customers are moving towards the private banks like ICICI, HDFC etc. because they are more reponsive give more attention to the customers. although there is much load in Govt. banks which is because they work in a hapazord manner they have not advanced them selves with technology. They are not customer frendilly too.

SBI ATM CASH NOT ISSUE, BUT AMOUNT DEBITED IN MY ACCOUNT

It was 19th of November'2008 at 9:30 A:M when I went to Jharkhand ATM Distt Chatra to withdraw an amount of Rs. 17, 000/- from my SBI ATM. In spite of applying the whole process of withdrawing the money from ATM i was not been able to get the amount from there. But the most strange thing happened with me is that the same amount was debited from my account. I at once informed the local SBI Branch and at Rithala, Delhi Branch (My A/c's Branch) and also filed an application against that for which i have been told to wait for 4 days but after that also i have not got any response from SBI people. Now after more than one month we are still standing on the same place. I 'm continuously getting the false excuses from the SBI people.

You are requested to kindly consider this matter and give me a feedback at the earliest.

Kindly help to credit the amount as earliest.
