[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Cheque remain unclear for over 1 year

I am Banti Chowdhury .I has a savings account in SBI Jadavpur University Branch. My account no is :- [protected]



On 27-12-06 I deposited an outstation cheque of Rs.3574 on SBI Jadavpur Branch. I use to regularly follow the account department for the concerned cheque. In reply they use to tell me that it will take some time. On this basis I waited for two months and asked the same to the accounts department. But the reply was same.

In this I met the manager of the concerned branch. He guided me to follow the accounts department only to get that cheque cleared. After this I came here in Chennai in the month of April and asked my younger brother to follow the matter. But it is also of no use.

I even send email regarding that to SBI Jadabpur (Email ID : 'sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in') as well as to the "To The Manager,The Grievance Cell, State Bank Of India, Kolkata" ('sbihelpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in')

I didnot get any repply. Now I am hear to take action against it.

Loan account not closed(not updated) for 7 months

This is Prashant Achari, Having SBI Credit Card No [protected].

Sorry to inform you that I'm highly dissatisfied with the SBI Credit Card service.8 months back i got approved pre-approved loan of amount 41, 000 and after that i closed the loan with correct procedure by calling to the customer care people. In reply i made the payment of Rs 26757.00 as suggested by the customer care people.

After that every month I'm getting some false statement to make the payment.
When i called regarding this, i got message from the customer care people that no need to make the payment, since FCR process takes time close my loan account.
This happened for verymonth and im getting the same statement from the customer care people, that no need to make the payemnet.
Really I'm frustrated of your service(Being known Good service).

In December again i called to the customer care regarding due amount.They discussed with the higher people and next day they called me and informed that next month bill onwards it will reflect on your card statemnt that my due is Rs 0.00.

Even i made Rs 451.13 on 21-january 2009.(This also informed by customer care people dated 21-Jan-2009 that you have only this amount to pay and within 72 hours of working it will show on your account)

After 6 day i checked in online statement, Still it is showing Rs 1, 348.46. due


Who is responsible for this? Whom should i contact for Credit card cheating? Is the the way of cheating the customer, being known good bank?.

My wife is having a account in SBI Chinmaya Branch, Chennai. She has applied for net banking 2 weeks ago. She couldn't able to login into netbanking with the id and password provided by bank officials. When she went to ask for the same to bank officer, He refused to take complaint and behaved rudely and told my wife to come afterwards. If this is the situation in govt banks. I think that better to close the bank. This is worst situation I have seen in my life in govt banks. If any open hearted person is there in bank... pls help me to solve my querry and take a necessary action to that officer.

IS NOT taking any action against my problem, Mgr Mr Kankene, is not giving any satisfactory answer, i also visited him personelly and he promise me that your pension will be started from march 2009, but still the result is same, it is not possible for me to visit delhi daily, because iam living in ambala cantt (haryana), while on phone Mr .kankene is not giving any positive response, some times he just disconnect the phone in between with out hearing any thing from my side .

I have applied for Demat and online trading account in State Bank of India, J P Nagar branch, Bangalore in the month of March, 2009. It was activated on 3rd of March. Later I got a rejection on the account operation due to Branch code change in my documents. It was solved somehow. Again I got my account rejected due to a single alphabet mismatch in my name when comparing my bank account name with that of PAN card. J P nagar branch was unable to solve this problem and treated me UNPROFESSIONALLY and asked me to go to my home branch to get my name change(single alphabet mismatch) certified. I went to my home branch on my working day of my office on loss of pay and bearing my travelling charges to Gulbarga. But I got a certificate form my home branch saying that the name belongs to me only. I submitted the same certificate in original to one of the State Bank of India executives who promised me to get my trading password activated in two days. Even after one week later, I am not given with my User name and Password to use my trading account. I am struggling with the bank manager of JP nagar and one of the Demat account executives in same branch from past FOUR MONTHS.


I am feeling so sorry to bank with State Bank of India, the LEADING bank of India, any more due to this kind of service from this branch.


Expecting some thing from you people at least now.

I am also requesting SBI audit, operations, Risk and card department to investigate this issue and share investigation results with me hence my data has been stolen from SBI database. This is a serious issue and data / information security has been bridge by thief

I have deposited a outstation (Delhi Br.) Cheque at my SBI Kiriburu Br. on 24.07.09 sum of Rs. 80, 000/- (Eighty Thousand Only) Ch.No. 667487 Dt.23.05.09. But till date I have no idea/status of the perticular cheque. Nor the amount has been transfar into my account. I have also mail about this on 11th Sep.09 but their is no reply. Now may i ask you that how many days your bank takes for a out going cheque to be cleared/reply

Dear Sir,

I am Aswini Kumar Behera, A/c No: [protected] is a responsible saving account holder in your branch. On 9th oct, 2009 (Satarday) I went for cash withdraw in Corporation Bank ATM at Nyay Khand-I, Indirapuram Ghaziabad. There I entered Rs. 14oo for withdraw (2 times Rs.700 each) but i didn't get any amount from ATM. And, when I checked my balance I was debited of Rs. 1400.

So, I request you to go through of my account & credit the amount of Rs.1400 which was wrongly debited as soon as possible.

State Bank of India — Cheque not cleared after 25 Days !!! AND ATM pin after 40 Days !!!

Hi,

I submitted a cheque in SBI Nungambakkam branch on 15-Oct-09. The cheque drawn on Gudur branch in Postal dept. Cheque details are entered in the system on 23-Oct-09 for the amount of 1.82 Lacks. Till today there is no settlement at least even they are not in a position to tell when this can be cashed.

Submitted a request to ATM in regeneration because my old pin is not working. Submitted the request on 1-Oct-09. Till today after 40 Days there is no response. I am visiting the branch twice every week. That is taking around 30 to 45 mins every week.

I am not sure why our National banks are not even feeling any responsibility to serve the customers?

Kindly do the needful.
Forget SBI, this is the bank where nothing is proper, i wont be surprised whose amounts go to whom one day. Their Computers is just a mess along with the working attitude. They give loans and it gets assigned to some one else. One enjoys the fruit, other suffers accounts mixing..etc. finall y they will write off as bad debts to the nation.

Their assets they claim will be in a real mess not knowing gone to whom...!!! another scam in the near future biggest which will shake the nation...

Pathetic System and the Working employee...i gave up following up.

i withdrawn rs 10000- from SBI atm and my accounts have been debited by the same amount but the atm did not sent the money to me. i have lodge a complaint regarding that but so far i did not receive my amount.it is about to complete 6 months

please give me the solution.

i am L Shanmugam my complaint is as under that my account Number is [protected] at the Guwahit Branch. Now i am staying at Pachmarhi which is located in the hill sector, iam aslo serving the defece, a get a Cheque belolging my self bearing machine number 810526 dt 17 Aug 2009 of ICICI bank, New Delhi (Multicity cheque) for the amount of 10000 (rupees ten thousands only) was deposited in the SBI, Pachmari Branch on 03 Sep 2009. I also requested him what is the position of the cheque. They donot give any information of the cheque. Keeping in the financial affected to me.
Lastly i am requesting you take the neccessary action against to the SBI Staff in delay with me fot 2 months and 15 days. over 15 days i want intrest of the amount.
SBI Contai (Purba Medinipur, W.B) branch (Code-57) is perhaps the worst office in India.

1. The employees do not know how to behave with the customers. They are rude in nature. Their posture reflects as they are doing favour to the customers.
2. The present Branch Manager is not eligible for holding such a post. He does not know anything about Net Banking/Online Banking. On asking about the procedure to register for Online Banking, he replied that this facility is not available in this branch.
3. This is perhaps one of the largest branches in W.B. But there are only two couters for deposit/withdrawal of cash. As a result, the customers have to wait for all day long for transaction.
4. The newly appointed young employees are more intelligent and swift in their work.They are polite too. But the so called 'experienced' employees are inspiring them to accept the gospel truth of rude behave.

In my humble opinion, the managing body should thoroughly manage the situation. We are suffering a lot.

its been 2 months since i am speaking to manger in ITPL campus for getting my PIN number after receiving the ATM debit card 2 months before even money has been deducted for this service god know when i will get it, i just wanted to tell all guys reading out here please dont create any account with SBI, becouse everyday i am taking permission from my manager for same purpose to visit the banks you can understand how i can lose my jobs becouse of this, if i have an emergency i will not get money from anywhere see the servces being provided such a iresponsible bank its only possible in india trust me, they will fool you every time and you cant do anything becouse no body will give you any response so you are gone it this point of time.. manager team under and bank indeed...corporate is also , i pray next time when someone asking me about SBI can give this example, this is not with me i found 10 person there in the bank everyday bank

Myself Mohammad Rehan, having a saving account No. [protected], In SBI, RCE, Shamla Hills, Branch, Bhopal, M.P.
I have lost my ATM Card No.[protected] one and a half month ago. and i blocked it by Telephne customer care. They given me blocking /confirmation Ticket No. [protected] and said if you get back your card the unblocking process will take through your Branch.
After 3 days of blocking i find my card and give an application for Unblocking the ATM.
But after one month my card is still blocked. and i m facing problem.
SBI cheque issued by LIC, deposited into my account NO-[protected] in the months of DEC2009 and Jan2010 are not credited and on enqueiry it is revealed At Thenambet SBI they are not clearing and we are continous asking no action from thier side is the reply received from SBI-Medical college branch- Thanjavur.
Same cheque were actioned online on the same day previously and now they do from this month and where as DEC & Jan are yet to be cleared and there by causing undue torture as these cheques are issued for one full year as it is my monthly pension from LIC deposits. OVER.
