I am holding a savings bank account at Pallavaram Branch, Chennai for nearly 10 years as joint account with my Mothers name,. She was expired in the month of june 2006. I have submitted a letter on 25th august 2006 to that branch to remove my mother name and want to use only on my name. The accontant informed me that the name has been removed. No i have applied for new debit card as my old one was damaged. I have paid Rs 200.00 in order to get the new card.
On 28th of October i have received the new card and i shocked because the card carrying my mother's name. So i went to that pallavaram branch and approched the person in the counter number 1. He was not giving much care and told me that the CIF name is in my mother's name, thats why the card produced in that name. I asked how i got the previous card in my name, He is not in a position to answered my question, he want me contact the accountant. I approached the accountant, he advised though its a joint account, my mother name is in primary name so unable to remove. I asked they why this was not told to me earlier when i was submitted the letter on 2006. He advised me to close the account and want to open a new account.
Then I approached the so called chief manager of that branch and explained my situation, initally he told me the same thing what the accountant told. I said how should i know the banking process. Then he really got temperred and told me that every one saying the same statement if any problem arise. I advised i am not a banking staff to know every thing, He advised he is also not know every thing, I really dissappointed the way i was treated by the branch manager, due to this frustration i told that i can close my account, immediately he told me to close the account if i want. Is this the way the branch manager act in this situation?
I said i'm holding this account for 10 years, problem araised because of this carelessness of the bank employee, I said i will make a big complaint against the branch, then he finally want me to submit a letter stating to remove my mothers name completely from the account, He provided the bank paper to write the letter. I provided the letter.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I HAVE A SAVING ACCOUNT IN TANGLA SBI
BRANCH. SIR, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT MY SAVING ACCOUNT TRANSFER APPLICATION 2 & 3 TIME BUT THEY DID NOT ACTION. I WANT TO MY ACCOUNT TRANSFER TO SBI NARNOUL, HARYANA . ACOUNT DEPARTMENT STAFF THEY WILL NOT HELP ME, WHERE AS ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENT'S I HAVE SUBMITED( LIKE APPLICATION AND NECESSARY DOCUMENTS)) . SO MANY DAYS I HAVE FACED THIS PROBLEM. STAFF WORK NOT PROPERPERLY.THEY ONLY GIVE HRRESEMENT TO THE CUSTOMER.
