[Resolved]  Sun Direct HD — Cheating the customer

I am subscribed to Samsung HD Installation Package 2910+3590 with 12 Months Free Subscription + Samsung HD Tamil Subscription Package Monthly Renewal. I was enjoying the service (both tamil & malayalam), but suddenly from 5th October 2010 onwards i was not getting Asianet and Asianet Plus in my package.

When contacted the customer care I was informed that they are no longer part of the plan.
I have subscribed to this plan after consulting the customer care.

I have been informed that I am not able to add these two channels to my package until next year as add on package. This is ridiculous from a service point of view. One cannot discontinue the service and cannot give any alternate option for availing the service even paying some additional amount. while subscribing for this service I was told that there will be a dedicated Tamil HD channel. But was cheated.

I too agree the same, I bought the connection 2 weeks back. All of a sudden my remote is stopped working when i called the customer care, the customer care person is very rude and they asked me to go to the dealer.For their device is not working, we need to go their dealer this looks ridiculous, but still i called the dealer. ( Kalki Channels Selaiyur ), they asking me how come it's not working ?, i really don't know what to answer. They behave as if they are providing the connection for free. They also told me they don't have any resources to send for checking. The same dealer called me too many times for providing a new connection now she is saying they don't have any one to provide service.

Now i have the "Great Sun HD" connection and my remote is not working and just sitting and watching the blank screen after paid about 3K. Even in Sun HD website there is no place to record our complaints or no emails provided for escalation. I never expect such a unprofessional approach from Sun HD.

I think i am saved. I called the customer support to get HD. But there is no system in place to track dowm the order. All they say is 24hrs and we wont get a call and when we call them they will get all our
details again. I am wondering how a big network like Sun doesn't want to care for customers.

i paid for Rs.10000/- in one year plan and this time only 6months. very bad costumer care. icall the custmer support to get hd.But there is no system in place to track down the order. all the say 3 times 48hrs and 2times 24hrs and last time 3hrs.after 4 hrs i will call, there are tell sorry sir 48hrs. pleeeeeeeeeeeees .what is this. what a costmer care
I am facing issue since i got this box installed, customer care is worthless they never respond for what is expected from them. Half of channels never worked it has permanent error E16-4 Service is scrambled if i call technician he take week to revert or come. They have pathetic response time, Service & Customer Care. I called them to my refund my money which your coustmer care people smartly said i can't even think of doing that Kudos to Sun.
The one and only WROST WROST HD service is SUNHD only...The bloody customer care service and is a ...iam facing the issue E-48-32 check cable...what is there in the cable, nothing in the cable, that its a new installation .we have not satisfied with the hd services till now .

Sun Direct HD — Chargin 13250 for WC matches in HD

Sun direct is charging 13250 for World cup matches in HD other DTH operators are charging very nominal and some are giving it free of cost.
sun direct hd is one of the worest network i never saw.others r charging just 150 rupees for hd cricket telecast but these r charging more, why!!!...

Yes, Sundirect HD cheating customers. Don't buy it and charging more.

My smart card number is [protected].. It is not working since 2 days.. Trying to contact customer care from yesterday
.but couldn't reach them also .. Irritated of this service..It would be better if solved quickly..
Hope they would take every complaint seriously and try not to lose customers..
