POOR SEVICE
I m the customer of sun direct dth service....in this case we not at all getting good service from them means they are doing fraud with customers ...from 2 weeks we not at all geetting many of pay channels when we asked about it with customer care when it was happened they told its a software problem.....but till now we dint get those channels for which we are paying additional amt for that channels....and they are trying to make money throgh customer care also becoz everytime when we call it comes as network busy...but when we call from call chareable number we get it very fast and the customer care services are not at all good....so kindly please take my complaint and resolve my querry please.......than q

    Hi, I am using SUN DIRECT DTH Services from past 1 yr and from past 2 months i am unable to view the channels and i have reported through SUN DIRECT DTH customer care and they are not giving proper reason and even they are allowing me to talk to higher officals of the company.

    SUN DTH — UNABLE TO VIEW THE CHANNELS

    I'm pradeep kumar , i gave complaint to the customer care that i'm not able to view the channels. They said that this complaint comes under DISH REALIGNMENT and we will solve your problem with in two of days. but till now they did't solve the problem, i face the problem since 2 months

    my sun direct DTH taken for 13 months subscription on August 2010 by paying Rs.2610/- I watched Only one month after words no channels no signals I have Complained Customer care more than 10 times but Now I understood that BEGGERS CANNOT RUN DTH SERVICE

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      I am a Sun Direct customer since June 2009. However since the past couple of months, it has been a regular practice with Sun Direct that there are no signal. They customer service is a horrific experience. When I call their customer service number, there is harrasment by asking repeated questions and no sign of getting the issue resolved. Most of the time, they put the call on hold for 10- 15mins and eventually disconnect the call. When I demand a complaint to be sent to their senior folks, they do not given any contact details and hang up the phone.
      I have paid the fee for the next one year and Sun is not willing to return back my money if I disconnect.

      Kindly advice what action can I take against them. My smart card number is R[protected]

      Sun direct is showing like the device needs to be upgraded for the satellite change. And they will send the technicians to home for free of charge. I have contacted the dealers regarding this, they provided two invalid numbers and they are claiming that these are the numbers of agency the work has been taken.

      After trying to these unavailable numbers and I called back to the dealers to report this. They said, If you pay Rupees 250, We will arrange seperate technicians to do this. And we are not the responsible persons for providing unavailable numbers.

      Finally, it's very clear that they are playing among themself to get 250 rupees. But sun direct is still claiming that this is completely free.

        Dear Sir / Madam

        We have Sun Direct Set up Box, whose reference # is Smart card "[protected]R", customer Name "Vishawanath Sharma" . The unit stopped functioning as such we lodged complaint on 25th July 2010 by calling in customer care #[protected] Complaint #[protected]. We were informed , our problem will be solved within 48 hrs. We waited for more then 48 hrs, no one came to fix the problem, we called again customer care on 30th July 2010, Complaint #[protected] we were told problem will be fixed within 24hrs. no one reported to fix problem , we had given several calls one after the other, but look like the customer care team dtd: 1st Aug 2010 complaint #[protected] followed with another complaint #[protected] dtd:4th August 2010. thereafter we have been calling almost everyday. always they give timeline and assure us that problem will get solved within 11 hrs or 24 hrs or 48 hrs.

        When we ask to give their senior manager # so that we can speak and get to know where is the problem , they will reply back saying like no one is there, seniors are busy , we are not supposed to give any details. sometime they will ask us to hold for sometime by saying that they are transferring to their seniors, after keeping on hold they will silently disconnect the line. when we try again calling at the same number, someone else will speak and say I dont know with whom you spoke earlier and we have to repeat whole story and we will listen the same repeated message that "we noted your problem and will get it sorted within 24hrs" This I think is very serious issue as they are delibertely cheating the customer by not taking the problem seriously, then what is the use of customer care when they are not able to solve the customer problems. instead these people give us false impression of solving the problem. in reality they just take the complain and go off.

        We need your help to fix my set up box complaint and also fix these call centre peoples who make mockery of customer care cell. Instead taking note of the problem and escalating internally to get it resolved they just repeate the same message to cutomer . leaving them more frustrated and iriitated everytime the customer calls in. We feel they are making fun of customer. If Sun direct customer care team is not able to fix the problem let them reimburse the amount we spent on buying and installing their unit. If they are not able to provide service in remote areas they shouldnt be selling in for remote areas. or else there should be commitment to their after sales and should be commitment on customer complaints.
        We have contacted Sun Direct's Nodal Officer,when we naratted whole story , taken with surprise instead of helping in this matter he gave us their distributers tel # to talk and get it sorted out.
        As a consumer we feel cheated by the Sun Direct Company and the customer care cell. we want justice to this. By complaining to this site, hope we can get justice. Appreciate your response on my given email id ( [protected]@gmail.com )

        SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE — WHY TO GIVE WRONG INFORMATION.

        ALWAYS BELIEVE IN FACT . CONTACT FOR DETAILS ([protected])
        I never had such a horrendous experience. Sun DTH or its Distributors are simply not upto it at all. When I decided in favor of SUN DTH everybody were surprised. The merits of choosing Sun DTH was only because the South Indian channels spread was more. I booked the connection with a distributor called STAR distributors in Andheri East, Mumbai. The nightmare started from that time. The person came for installation after 4 days. He spent 6 hours in Installation, could not complete it and took the money at the end of the day, promised that he would finish the installation the next day and start activation. It is now 6 days and we have been left staring at a screen mentioning “subscription over”. In this last 6 days I have rung up more than 100 times…the SUN DTH call centre and the distributor. The SUN DTH call centers are absolutely de-stressed guys. Please learn Hindi before dialing for even if you choose English on their interactive system, you may be led to Hindi speaking guy who without fail keeps on repeating "shama chaoongha”. Wonder where does that Shama Stay or maybe all their girl friends are known as “Shama”. Time and again, they just note down the name, Smart card # but do nothing, absolutely nothing. As they say Out of Sight and out of mind. For Sun DTH the saying is "Put your phone down and you are out of mind" Do not expect that you call up and things start working. I am sure this call centre is in Gorakhpur for their English Speaking guys are also talking in the same Hindi accent.

        I have asked the distributor to send someone to refund the money and I am still waiting for the person to some and take back the connection and refund the money. I have been begging, pleading and also informed him that I have no problems falling on his feet and saying that I am sorry and I have made a mistake, but the distributor keeps on saying “I am sending someone”.

        I will never EVER recommend anybody the SUN DTH. They are simply not geared up.

        But than as Indians are known to be extremely tolerant. So if you want to test how tolerant you are….go for the SUN DTH connection……
        I am a subscriber to Sun direct. I got the connection in a package where the there were a holiday for recharge for one from the date of installation. Thanks there were no problems for the first year.There after the after sale service and customer care is very poor. I am not getting the recharge voucher from the distributor. They always misguide. Waste of time and energy and always i used to quarrel with them to get a recharge voucher which will always be out of stock. Very poor service.No manners I am not recommending Sun direct.

Delhi... having the same problem ... i have sun direct connection with number [protected], my DTH has not been working for the Last one week and I had been following this with the customer care for the Last one week with call call after.. this fools at the customer care first of all don't have a log of the complaints that the customer has made.. evry time you make a call they will first sing their song... of telling all the details of the customer then.. would ask all the same things that you would already have conveyed in the prevoius call and then they would give you a TAT of 24 hrs, which would never come... I strongly belive sun should clos down the customer care or remane it someting like customer harrsament center...bcos these buggers don't have a solution to any of the porblem... they don't have a proper escalation matrix ... they don't have good dealers who could help... really pathetic... DTH.. to be with.. would strongly recommend pepole .. pls if you have an option .. go for... some other... Malus... specially if your in delhi...

        I am from Mysore and i too have the same issue with the most horrible service of Sun DTH.
        I have made up my mind to throw the DTH and Set top box in the garbage and go for a different operator.
        Every time you reach the call center, they give different answer. And they disconnect your calls as though we customers are . I am sure Sun cannot run their business like this for a very long time. I only pray to god that all those who are working in SUN DTH should get AIDS

        My Name Is Saravanan And I Have Sun Direct Dth Connection Which Is Really A Waste One Now I Realised. The Problem I Had Is Day By Day The Channels Were Decreasing And I Given Lot Many Complaints To Them. I Didnt Remember Other Complain No. The Last Complain No. Is [protected] Which Was Given In The Mid Of Oct-2010 Till Now This Was Not Rectified After Calling So Many Times The Executive Prathik Said Today That Their Server Is Down So He Told Me To Call After One Hour Which Is A Repeated Dialouge From Them Later He Said He Cannot Help Any Of My Problem So Whatever You Want To Do You Can Do.         Sun Direct — NON SUPPORT OF TECHNICAL SERVICES

        I would like to take the subscribers and to be subscribers attention to the matter that, SUN DIRECT DTH is not giving any technical support to their customers after the complaint is lodged with Customer Services. As the current subscribers know the fact that, there is severe problem in their transmission cycle due to THEIR problem in the satellite. All these days, whever contacted customer care get the reply that "it will be rectified in a week you will be getting free service for the same equivalent days for which transmission was disturbed".

        Recently, we started get another message that, OUR SATELLITE has been changed, please contact distributor for FREE re-alignment of dish. Unfortunately none of the distributors are reachable for doing this and no one responds to the calls made to the numbers given by Customer Care.
        My complaint number is[protected].

        In between, we came across some technical people who ready to do the re-alignment for Rs.300 per dish. SUN DIRECT is INDIRECTLY promote these local technical people by not helping us when required.

        I have taken up one year subscription for which I am suffering. With much grivences, I am cautioning other potential Sun direct users to not to opt SUN Direct as they are worst in after sale service.


        I am still trying some distributor who responds to CUSTOMER CALLS.

        I am from Hyderabad and my Sun direct smart card number is [protected]. From one and half month the customer care just logs my complaints and assures me that my complaint will be resolved in 24 hrs. My issue is not resolved yet. Sun direct customer care is the worst in the world. Please dont buy SUN DIRECT CONNECTION.

        Sun Direct DTH — Complaint not resolved even after 1 month follow up

        I am not getting channel from 15th October 2010 onwards and asper the instruction on the TV I contacted the distributor and he did not turned up and again I contacted your coustomer care they said they will writh to the distributor still not resolved.

        So I logged a formal complient the calling your customer care and the complient number is[protected], every alternate day I am following up with the customer care and still not resloved my issue.
        Very very very worst service from sun direct peoples ever i watched.They moved satellite for their purpose, but we are getting suffer, from july onwards they are making alignment in dish for new satellite, first i followed were i purchased, he given me a dealer no, they also not responding properly, afterwards i directly contact the sun direct peoples, till now i am getting the same response. as well as today i am watching only these channels,

        I am a customer for SUN direct from Jan 2010. My Smart card number is [protected]. In the month of October 2010 there was a change in satellite and we got an intimation from SUN saying that we need to contact the nearest dealer to change the direction and it is a free service. I logged service ticket also for this with reference number[protected]. But till date no one turned up from SUN direct even after repeated follow up with SUN customer care number [protected] and [protected] . Every time I am getting false commitment from the customer care team. last week I called up customer care again and they given a new reference number [protected] and committed to send a technician by 17.12.2010. till date no one turned up to resolve the issue.

        Last one month I am paying Rs 90.00 for getting only 2 channels in my pack and from today I am not getting even a single channel.

        Request your immediate intervention as a customer paying for service not getting any support from the service provider even after continuous follow ups .

        I had submitted a rquest to upgrade my active package to mega shine package with effect from 13 Dec 2010.Though I was given assurance from my state customer care ( Lucknow ) appox seven to eight times,still this package has not been activated-BK Gupta smart card no [protected]

        what a dish service. i am not getting how this have 5.5 mill customer, i think all are fed up with the service
        I have a Sun Direct connection and the same is not working since 1 week.
        I have been registering complaint and they give a false promise of attending the same in 48 hours.
        The first complaint no. will not be there in their records after a few calls to them.
        Then we have to register a fresh complaint again, by giving the stories.
        Each time they will ask for the complete detials, claiming for security reasons, but not respond favourable. I feel by cling these, we will add more phone bill.

        I stronglt think, after seeing the complains, there is no meaning to register complaint aganist these guys.
        There should be a system, to punish these guys, for not responding to the customers.

        And the way the calls have been handiled is like a very arrogent manner.
        They will order the customer to speak softly. than handiling issue at their end.

        Requesting you people take it forward to get justice form these irresponsible company.

        I took this connection on 6th May 2013

        I’m experiencing very bad service support since from the 1st day of this connection,
        1. The vendor who provided me the set up box said that I will be getting the connection with in 1hour But i got the connection only after 3days
        2. He never gave the bill for this purchase,
        3. When i wanted to Top up my account for the package for 270Rps the shopkeeper said i can top up only for 300Rps
        4. Finally i have some Signal problem from 19th June 2013 & have reported this to customer care & have spoken to lot of people like Tabreez, Noel, Siddique, Sumaiaha, & many more, & final Hidayat ( who said he is a manger) said that the technician will come today to fix the issue, I called again on 23rd June ( Sunday ) even then they said the technician will come today to fix the issue, & when spoke to Hidayat he said they are having shortage of technician & are busy in installing new connections & also told me to send an email to [protected]@sundirect.in but till now nobody have has called me nor visited my place to fix this issue,
        5. I have called nearly 50times but I’m not getting any proper response, they hung my call Or put me on MUTE,
        Oh My God...

        understand that every body who uses Sundirect has this issue. is there any point posting though as these are the worst service providers in probably whole of Asia

        had technical issue and called Sundirect on 31st May when they said that technician will resolve the issue whithin 48 hrs.

        Issue : No signal nature of issue : Technical 2: 25 pm on 31st asked if the person will come: the good for nothing CSA said by sunday morning he will come. closed the issue as resolved : no. [protected]. closed with a lie on sunday they said no service is there. on Monday they said by 12 o'clock person will contact and at 4pm, they said by tuesday evening the person will contact. escalation complaint resolved : 1-[protected]. on what basis are they sending message that it is resolved !! ,

        i finally got a call on Momday and technician said that they were informed only on Friday by Sundirect that the issue is thee - after 6 days! Never choose sundirect.

        issue is opened and no one bothers to call and ask if 48hr deadline is met.

        3rd class channel.

        Very Bad service......!!

        Paid for three months hd package. always no signal or searching for signal.

          This is Avuluri Nagaraju. I am one o[censored]nfortunate Sun direct Customer . My smart card Number

          Is [protected]. I am unable to see any channel since July Fist week onwards.

          I have contacted SUN DIRECT customer representatives greater than 30 times. SUN DIRECT customer care executives promised to resolve my connection problem with in a days . But fact is the problem is not fixed yet. I already lost one month time without seeing any channels. After so much frustration I am placing this issuing in front of you.

          With last communication with SUN DIRECT customer executives i got few references listed below for your use.

          2) Ref No - [protected] On 2rd August 2010

          3) Ref No - [protected] On 3rd August 2010

          After then every day I used to call to your customer executives but no action taken place till today.

          I have recharged 6 months subscription and still approx 200/- credit is available in my account.

          How your people behaving with other people I don’t know . But my case is I am really very dissatisfied with your executives.

          I have given enquiry form on 4th August 2010 describing all the matter even though there is no response from your end.

          I have given a complaint to Sun Direct Nadal officer Noida. But No reply.
          After two days Two excutives visited to my house and checked antena settings . they repaired but no use. They charged 200/- with out bill. I pressurised to give bill but no use.That day i was able to see channels. Afer few hours the same earlier problem is showing on my TV.
          Again I called to Dealer but no use. Every day he is promissing to send excutives to my house. But no one came till today.

          For the last 5 day's my SUN DIRECT, expriencing no sound on Asianet. Called up the customer care, but there has been no acting or outcome of my complains.           I agree with above complaint, my smart card no is [protected] I also have the same complaints my family fed off with Sun Direct it is not working from 8pm to till morning from last 2 months. Our favourite channel is "colors" which shows no signals or poor signal after 8pm, customer care is also not available from evening onwords today after discussing with customer care with almost 2 hours they recd my complaint & gave me the complaint no of[protected] & promised that technician will visit our house within 48 hrs & he will solve the problem lets wait & watch what "fraud Sun Direct" full fill its promise?. I don't have faith
          Sun direct services are very very very worst.

            I have Sun Direct Dish Antenna -
            Since its installation last October 2009, very often, signal problem. Video will be there and suddenly no signal- searching for signal indication will appear on the TV. Against a number of complaints, only two times they attended and also collectd money for attending. Very Very poor response. Even complaint to the distributor is of no use. Is there any procedure for complaining in the consumer court for this.
            I am too facing the same problem. Their service is the worst you will ever get. In the last 15 days there was transmission only for 2 days. I have with me 10 complaint numbers which they have given. Everyday I get a message that my complaint is closed without rectifying the fault. The error message which is displayed on the tv is E16-4...scrambled. Every time I am asked to restore the factory settings but without any positive results. The call centre people do not give you the phone numbers of the higher authorities to complain. I have already recharged my account and hence not in a position to change to another provider.             yes I am also facing same complaint no signal and also it showing as smart card failure..what the reason for showing this kind of notice...

              I am a sundirect customer. Since the last one week, i am unable to receive any channels, except for their INFO channel. I am totally "SATISFIED" with the responses received from their call centre. Every time, they try to resolve and provide the same anwer - WE HAVE RAISED TO THE TECHNICAL TEAM, PLEASE CHECK IN 12 HOURS, WE ASSURE THAT THE PROBLEM WILL RESOLVE". What love is that the human interface repeats the same wordings... everytime you log a call. Would have been better if we had a INTERACTIVE COMPUTER on the other side, which atleast would have given a standard replies. Everytime you ask for their SUPERIOR, he is not there. I fear if is there at all ?

              Numerous Calls, 10 Compliant Numbers and 1 Week - STILL THERE - WITHOUT A RECEIPTION AND WITHOUT A RESOLUTION

              once you have purchased the same, WHO CARES !!! - Neither their dealer, neither there call centre, nor their Kalyan centre....

              When TATA SKY people provide a installation in 2 HOURS, SUNDIRECT provides a resolution in TWO WEEKS (if not early... )

              Will keep you posted once the issue gets resolved. Hopefully there wont be a birthday celebrations

              Same problem but from a different place. I am from Cochin, Kerala. I am also waiting for the past 10 days to celebrate!!!

              SUN DTH — non reception of channels

              i am holding a sun direct connection bearing smart card no:[protected]
              in the name o[censored] A muhammed. I i am not able to receive any channels since[protected]. i maid a complaint on[protected] thru call center cochin in the no[protected].
              and they have promised to attend the complaint within 24 hrs. but in spite my daily reminding calls the t technician reached my home taken the receiver for repair on[protected] .and till now i didnt get the instrument repaired. and the response of the customer care people are very bad.till now i have lost 36 days of subscription and now i am forced to take another connection.which is resulting in an additional financial burden ..
              i need genuine compensation for the troublecoused because of company"s delay and negligence

                Its ridiculous to state that the sun direct people are the most irresponsible one I have ever seen. No sub dealers have any information regarding what will happen next and by what time. Toll free numbers are freezed and ordinary people who have spend thousands has to wait for their words regarding what is about to happen.
                I have never seen such an irresponsible network provider anywhere in the world.

                      I'm Staying in Lakshadweeves Islands and a Customer of Sundirect DTH for the last two years. Now, I'm not able to watch any of the channels in the morning afer the satelite isssue. I think so far they could not solve this problem. It is injustice to the customer and Sundirect is cheting its 5.8 million cusotmers. I have paid for some of the pay channels (Star movies, HBO etc) Are they going to refund my money or solving the problem soon? But in the night time i,m watching only DD channled and few other chnnalesISun,K tv, Surya, Kiran)I have not got ant answer from the sundirect officials so far.

                      I agree this, even in Chennai the case is same. POGO itself signal strength too low and the picture got freezed, start cracking. No refund and validity extension provided by Sundirect. The customer care executive unable to resolve this.

                      Taking money and cheating customers poor fellow Sundirect groups, Vsool raja groups no business ethics when they are into problem must face customer genuinely and extend validity extension free of cost but they dont do it instead they terminate the activation as if they are 100% perfect but it is provide 100% imperfect service past two months, no one to control their cheating going on...some one must do something or ransack the Sundirect owners for their public cheating in the name of SUNDTH

Please allow few islamic channels on DTH respecting the sentiments of Indian Muslims else please ban all religious channels on all DTH services with immediate effect.

                        This indeed is a big issue with all the major DTH players in India.Reliance BIG TV, Airtel, TataSky - All of them have willfully and intentionally not included PEACE TV in their packages. This clearly shows the discriminatory and racial nature of these companies. It is a shame that the Indian Muslim Masses who continue to watch Star TV, Sony and other popular channels are not raising a hue and cry about this.

                        I am using Reliance BIG TV HD and I have no Peace TV though I want it so much. The state of India Independence?
                        There is not a single Islamic channel in India. If the I&B ministry India has banned the Islamic channels in India and keeping silence on it, then the UPA lead government is definitely questioning the secular democratic constitution of India. This should not be entertained any more, so that the communal harmony in India should prevail and our culture of being is secular democratic country should be in its perfect form.

                        The Muslims in India also has equal rights to preach and propagate their faith in India according to the constitution of India. I think there are some communal narrow minded people in the I&B ministry who does not want any Islamic channels in India. If this is the case, then the Government should seriously look in to this and solve this issue as soon as possible.

                        Being secular means, secular in everything. No double standards for any one, let it be Hindu Muslim or Christian, as long as they are Indians.
                        This website is USELESS... no response for any complaint...

                        I have Airtel DTH at home, after repeated request since past 1 year for islamic channels but not a single DTH service provider is providing islamic channel. they are providing aastha, sanskar, GOD, shalom, etc. This is a clear discrimination against 20 crores Indians Muslims .

                          I have purchased a Sony TV and Sun DTH on 25.7.10. The bill number for Sun DTH is 7902 dt.25.7.10. It seems your people have not log the purcahse with Sun DTH distributor in time.

                          Thereby, the installation got delayed and happened only on 29.7.10 after our repeated requests and follow up. Now installation done, but connectivity not happened. When we enquire Sun direct call centre, they ask us the contact your Nanganallur Vasanth & CO shop people. On our contact your shop people asking us to produce the receipt, (Copy of which is available with them) and their answer was very erratic and no respectful speach.

                          We fell very hurt and suffering even after spending money.

                          My observation is, your shop people does not care about the customer's requirement. Once sold they are not willing to even give proper answer. Is it the after sale service. Very poor communication, poor service.

                          Ultimate sufferer is your customer, please take corrective action immediately.

                          Hope you will take immediate action.

                                OUR SMART CARD NO. IS [protected]. LAST FRIDAY ON WARDS NO SIGNAL. WHEN I AM CALLING LOACL SERVICE PROVIDER[protected], THERE IS A PROBLEM IN SATELLITE. YESTERDAY HE INFORMED STAELLITE PROBLEM IS RESOLVED BUT DISH ANGLE TO BE CHANGED. AS PER NO ADDTIONAL RESOURCES PROVIDED BY SUN DTH. TOTAL 5000 CUSTOMER ARE FACING SIMILAR PROBLEM IN THIS REGION. ON AVERAGE THEY ARE CHANGIN 8-10 CUSTOMERS. TO ATTEND THIS COMPLAINT IT TAKES ANOTHER 50-60 DAYS.

                                WHEN WE ARE CONTACTING SUN DIRECT CUSTOMER CARE , THEY ARE TELLING SAMSUNG SETUP BOXES ARE NOT WORKING. THESE NEED TO BE REPLCED.

                                THE TIME FRAME NO BODY HAVING THE ANSWERS.

                                HOWMANY DAYS IT TAKES NO ANSWER.

                                Of late we stopped getting transmission for mancy channels. There was a message on the screen saying that the satellite positioning has been changed and they would reset our dishes free of cost.

                                We called up the Sun guys and they said they would send a guy that week itself, this was 3 weeks ago. As the days passed more channels became defunct. We kept calling the Sun guys and they said they would come, but never came.

                                This is not our first bad experience with Sun. Its been like this always and they have scant regards to customers. They have no intention to take care of the customers. This is the service industry at the worst.
                                Sun has the worst customer service i have ever seen.. THis canot be tolerated any level..For over 1 month we have been pathetically trying for their technicians to change the dish angle and still no response.. The have disconnected their phone lines or kept in busy.. Is this is consumer company...Please people who plan to buy Sun DTH dont buy it.1000 Rs saved by their cheap schemes..but i bet you will suffer for than Rs5000...

                                Authorities take some action.. When i contacted others the same was the response.. This is intorable!!
                                Even i have the same problem related to satellite adjustment.For the past 1 month i kept on calling the customer care.But the action has not yet taken.Almost i lost all the channels.Very worst service

                                  I am existing customer of Sun Direct since November 2009. I opted for Sun Direct based on the fact that I am fom Chennai (settled in Hyderabad) and can view more Tamil channels through Sun Diret. But the real fact is different.

                                  The customer service is very very poor and lot is required to improve on that.

                                  I am not receiving any channels and when contacted CC, they gave technicians number and he does even pick that phone, instead, swtiched off his mobile.

                                  This is not my only experiance, Sun Direct CC even deduct money from Sun Direc account without your notice, which is very critical. There is no point telling world class service, No 1 Mpeg service, all those stuf with this service.

                                  Sun direct is showing like the device needs to be upgraded for the satellite change. And they will send the technicians to home for free of charge. I have contacted the dealers regarding this, they provided two invalid numbers and they are claiming that these are the numbers of agency the work has been taken.

                                  After trying to these unavailable numbers and I called back to the dealers to report this. They said, If you pay Rupees 250, We will arrange seperate technicians to do this. And we are not the responsible persons for providing unavailable numbers.

                                  Finally, it's very clear that they are playing among themself to get 250 rupees. But sun direct is still claiming that this is completely free.

                                    The complaint is when ever there is rain there is no signal. I have complaint many times and till date this problem is not solved. As you know the monsoon has started. There will be only rain. I have paid to view the channels and I do not like to hear any excuses. Even natural or technical problem.                                       I had paid Sun Direct for 6 monthson 17.7.2010 with amount 655/- through on line. For Activation with great difficulty I am able to contact Kolkata Customer Care who informed that Rs.593.83 and iwas informed that 6 months recharge could not be made since there is shortage of one rupee. After several aruguments I was told that the activation was done for 6 months plan. As there is no sevice, after repated trials again contacted Kolkata centre, it was told that the service will restored within 29 minutes, As the services are not restored, the smart card was taken & tested with other det top box & found the no channel is coming with this card. On verification through toll free number, the balance that is being shown is Rs,494.83. It not understood what is present satus of the service. i.e. whether the activation is completed and if so for what period.
                                      My Sundirect smart card # is [protected].

                                      I requested Sun Direct to refund the 6 months money, the service is very bad & nobody is accesible and even after contacting on repeated trials no proper assistance is recieved..
