This is Harsha bearing smart card number [protected]. i have been requesting for realignment of dish since 3months no one has approached till now.More over many channels have been deactivated by sundirect. i have been trying to distributers, nodal officers, dealers phone numbers but in vain. finally i decided to throw this sundirest dish and buy Tata Sky. Really pissed of with customer care (real stupids) and nodal officers never pick up their phones. i don't know why sundirect is creating much inconvinence to the customers.

    Hi,

    Sundirect is having a very very very very worst service. We took a sundirect connection in 2009. Till one month back we did not face any problems. But last month onwards actual problem started. We are not getting so many channels though we paid money for that channels. We called so many times to sundirect call center. Every time the people are telling that technician will come in 3-4 days like that. But nothing happened till now. we lost so much of money in calling the customer care. Dont buy sun direct. I will not recommend any of my friends to buy sundirect.
    It is not a sundirect. It is a WORST Direct. Dont believe in fat guy's(who comes in worst direct add) words. He wont come and resolve ur problem.

      Even after making repeated calls to Customer Care Number, Dish adjustment has not been done so far. So we are not getting Vijay TV, Raj TV, Sun Music, Kalaingar TV etc., The local distributor M/s.Ranga Agencies, Villivakkam, Chennai - 600 049. has not lifted landline as well as mobile phone.
      It is requested Sun Direct DTH to kindly do the needful immediately.

      I made many calls for Dish adjustement for the new Satellite and they lodged a complaint . But no use. The call takers were assured of prompt service of wth in that day. Slowly they are removing channels one by one. There is no meaning o[censored]sing using Sun Direct. We are forced to watch only those channels thery are telecasting. Very bad experience. Sun Direct DTH to kindly do the needful immediately.

        I own a Sun direct DTH service. For the past two months i am stop loosing one or the other channels and now left with just few channels to name.

        I have raised a complaint almost a month back, for retuning the receiver for the new satellite of sun direct DTH service. It has not been resolved till now and i have been loosing all channels one by one.
        All my favourite channels vijay tv,kalaingar tv, sun music, raj tv and many other channels not able view,

        So many times i have called to customer care team, backend team , team leaders but still not resolved.
        To name few ( manjunath, Anita, vivekanantha and Bhimesh)

        All the telephone calls, my time, money that spend for the monthly subscription is just waste.

        I dont have any other option of getting out of your subscription.
        Sure will never suggest any others to subscribe to sun direct.

        Earlier you havent solved the below issue of the your dealer cheating the customer and now you yourself proved that you wont also do anything to the customer complaints.
        Now we understanding sundirect is very bad & poor service . Especially in Mumbai Maharashtra Branch. When ever we complaint they giving complaint number only. no service. Day by day each one channel loosing .No one is not taking the action. This dish we brought from Metro Electronics, Agashi Road, Near Petrol Pump, Virar (W).Thane Dist.Maharashtra ST. We Complaint that Gentleman but he told " you call to Sundirect customer care" we can't do anything.

        you are not taking any action, dish take back from me, and give me my money back. Advertisement is showing ...very good, but actual you are doing foolish the peoples & cheating also.

          I am Unable to see channels in tv 10-12 Days because sundirect dth do not given properly .

          I have a problem with your sun direct service. Last alignment after not coming channel properly, and show no signal contact with distributor then no response. Then log call in customer care date 18.11.2010 call no.1-[protected] after call log told me that 24 hours rectify your problem but no solution found me.

          again call lock again provide me call no.1-[protected].




          What should I do …………… wait or wait

            I have a DTH connection and due to the tech. reason of the service provider most of the programs are vanished and not visible. There is always an adv. saying the " we have moved to new satellite and your dish need to be returned to the new satellite" Distributor of dealer will do this at free of cost.....While I contacted the customer service, theere is no response from them. I lodged teh compliant through their website, but still there is no response. Finally I wrote a letter to their HO, still no response. Overall the job is not done and the after sale service of Sunnetwork DTH is very very bad........

            my name is devan from poonamalee, i brought sun direct dish connention last year from
            sastha musicals from anna nagar, last two days i am not reveivrd any channels,
            so i was made a complaint to ur branch kottivakkam. still i did"t get any respond from ur side.

            I will wait for two days, then also i am not getting any respond, sorry to request to you, pl remove the connection. i will go through some other dishes.

            Sun DTH never bothers about their customers, they just what to show numbers.All this stunts are for converting their huge black money to white. So they are not bothered about customers leaving.They will say "" we have moved to new satellite and your dish need to be returned to the new satellite" Distributor of dealer will do this at free of cost" But in reality NO ONE will never come to fix your Dish .

              Dear Sir,

              I am the customer of Sun Direct DTH since June 2008. Recently I had been facing problems with the signal reception and un-availability of channels.
              I recently raised a complaint with the customer care dated: 22nd October 2010 - stating that am not able to view most of the channels, for which they told that they will be sending technicians in 3 days. I waited for the time period and called up the customer service several times in the following weeks and there is no proper response.
              Even before 22nd October 2010 - I raised a complaint for which the customer care executive told that we have to contact the Distributor directly. My distributor was Quick Sky based out @ Annanagar. I approached Quick Sky and they replied stating that they don't undertake SUN DIRECT services anymore. I called up the customer executive and he gave a number to contact - [protected] - A.N.Narayanan. I rang up this person and he too denies providing services to SUN DIRECT. I updated this information to SUN Direct DTH and Still there is no response from the team and the channels are no more visible. Day by day there is reduction in the number of channels.
              I tried to contact customer service again and they provided a contact number for the dealer by the name: Ranga Agencies - Annanagar - Contact Number: [protected]/[protected]. I was trying the contact number exhaustively and there is no response.

              Could you please help to get justice on this issue as I have already paid 1400 for a year subscription.

              Sundirect is the Biggest Cheater and they will not give any service to solve the problem of the customer, I think it is better to throw stone on sundirect office

                This is suresh from chennai , i had a complaint of channel which yet to come in sundirect that is ten cricket most of the cricket live action cricket of india .this is too bad other dth have launch this channel why cant sun direct please look in to this work this early as possible for better prospects

                  i have sun dth service my smart card number is [protected] and since last month the company have been moved to a new satalite and i am not getting some channels which i have viewed regularly. in their advertaisment they were showing our techicians will come to you for re alignining the dish on nov 5th i have complaint to realign my dish (call center no.[protected]) complaint number 1/[protected] and they have not attended my COMPLAINT TILL TODAY they are charging for all channels including the unavilable channels

                  Assuring false promise by customer care personnel everytime is not OK. If Sun Direct cannot service its customers, kindly disconnect and reverse the down-payments atleast, so that we can switch-over to other providers.                     I have taken SunDirect DTH connection in the month of August 2010 from Agari Enterprises Surathkal, Mangalore.

                    From last 2 months it displays the message to change the alignment of the dish. I told the supplier and complained in the customer care. Daily i am calling these people and they are assuring me that within 24 hours it get it done. Bust from last 2 months no body corrected the problem.

                    In TV, paper and other media they are giving lost of advertisements to take SunDirect DTH connection. But if there is any problem they are not giving service. Cost is not important service is important. If they can provide the service why they have to sell the product. Because of them I could not see the TV for last 2 months. Will they extend the expire date. If not we are paid for not using their facilities.

                    Please provide good serive at time and sell the product.

                    The same problem for me too... The worst service i ever had in life time... i spoke to them and launched a complaint for more than 16 times still no body turned up... What is the next Solution? Should we switch over to some other DTH service... Those who respect the customers...???

Raj Kumar, Technician[protected] of Dish Communications, T V Swamy Road West, R S puram, Coimbatore attended the up gradation job at my house. He, on persistent demand, was paid Rs.100 towards service charges despite my pointing out that it is free of charge as per your message in the web site. He informed that in the meeting they permitted us to receive the service charges from the customers only. Earlier also, some one, said to be from Sun Direct, came and asked Rs.100 for up gradation. I did not oblige and returned without permitting to upgrade. Now, in order to avoid further delay in upgrading, I co-operated and permitted the job and paid Rs.100 as demanded by him. He had no objection in my reporting the matter to you since it was agreed in the meeting to receive the service charges from the customers. There is no Signal in Raining Time.
                      .I shall thank you to sort out the matter at once, failing which, I shall have no option but to report the matter to Sri Kalanidhi Maran,M.D. by a Regd. letter.

                      sun direct pvt ltd — company taking same charge but giving service is different

                      i have purchase set top box of sun direct ( like tata sky, dish tv) as on 2 oct 2008 and paid charges of Rs 1999.00 in which 1000.00 for installation charge and 999.00 for sunshine package for 10 months in advance. in sunshine package company giving star plus, zee tv, colours, sanskar. but from 15 Dec 2008 who buys same produt company giving more channel in sunshine package like sony, Hungama channel. my query is that company same, product same, service charge same but why service is different even though i had paid in advance.

                      yes. to make things worse, someone with Sun DTH ID card came to my home. He was talking about this realignment and asked my Mom to pay 500 for fixing it. The guy seem to be fake and he offered some bill & promised to get some tool and didn't turn up after that. The only way to trust is ID card and the guy seem to have faked the bill and ID card.

                      I am waiting for 2 months without a single channel. Customer care is just an eye wash. Regret for choosing Sun DTH. I have Rs.1000 recharged. I don't expect the problem to be resolved. Need to live with it and be cautious while choosing my next provider

                        I have subscribed for new SUN DIRECT DTH connection in 2009 for 1 year. I called up customer care and they sent an hardware engineer for installation for 1 year. After few months later, I came to know that my Services has been charged for every 3 months and stopped completely after 10 month. But I have paid lumpsum amount recharge for 1 year. Later when I complaint to the Customer Care, to my surprise they updated me that my distributor is from 70 -80 kms away from Chennai. The receipt which they gave to me at the time of installation is a Bogus One. I tried reaching all the possible ways to catch the distributor, but all my efforts went into vain. After losing my patience, i started recharging for 3 months. Now for the last couple of months, most of the channels have been blocked by SUN Direct DTH services displaying mssg that " SUN DIRECT DTH Service has moved to the new satellite frequency and technicians will come to our door step and retune the Dish". But its been more than 2 months after giving approximately 15 complaints to the customer care, there is no response from them. Right now, i have removed the SUN DIRECT DTH Service and throwed the gadgets in the Corporation Dustbin.

                        When I enquired with most of the network people who has SUN Direct DTH service, everyone has got their own problems with the service and not even single positive response I received from them.

                        SUN DIRECT DTH Service is one of the worst service provider till date. Please whoever read this information, think 1000 times before you landup in trouble. Do Not get influenced by the TV Ad in Sun Network Channels where they prompt for every 5 mins Ad to get new SUN Direct DTH Service. Once we use their Service, then the SUN DIRECT DTH service will not heard by us in future.

                        Best Cheater in the market with low cost DTH Service.

                        As a Consumer, I can share this information through Internet and alert the consumers who are eager to get new connection.

                          On 13 Oct 10 i have taken a SUNDIRECT DTH connection from a delar named SUNRISE VISION. located near flat no. 1, Type A, Pkt 2, Ph 1 Sec-7, Dwaraka, New Delhi. I had prefered for south pack of which i see only Telugu channels. But from the very next day Maa TV was had no signal. the message says that i satellite has changed soon a technical team will come to adjust the dishno even a single person has come to rectify the problem. From 02 Nov 10 not even a single channel signal was ok. On 7,9,14,15 and 18 Nov 10 i have made a complaint at customer care center every time i made a compliant i was provided with a complaint no's. of DL 3945 14/11,DL 3540 15/11, were provided. But to my surprise when i called them on 18th, customer care executive said that there were no complaints register earlier. i was surprise to hear this. I have almost wasted Rs 110 on making these calls. In place of attending the complaint they started make all lame excuses and this time this is reduculas.

                          one cannot cheat the customer like this, a immediate action may please required from your side.

                          I am Gangadharan 168/B 3rd main road, Engineers avenue, Chennai 600 117. I am sundirect subscriber. My setup box is not working. I lodged a complaint 6 days back the complaint number is 1-[protected]. I am calling their customer care every 24 hours. Each time they promise to replace the set up box within 24 hours. The 24 hrs time never came. They do not provide any contact number of their higher authorities with whom I can present my case.

                            I have a Sun-Direct connection (Smart Card Number No.[protected] R.) which was purchased in July 2009

                            In August 2010,I got a message from Sun Direct saying that after up gradation of their server related issues, the dish has to be re-aligned ,so that I get all channels.

                            For the past 2 months I am following up with Sun-Direct for the same, but to no avail. I have contacted the call center where they take the complaint if you are lucky, otherwise you will never get the phone line also. Sometime they will give some complaint Number[protected] and[protected] and otherwise say that system down call us later. When I tried contacting the distributor he asked me to contact customer service. I have sent 3 emails through their website and two emails to their nodal officer at Andhra and no proper reply from them so far

                            All the officials I spoke right from Ms.Chaithanya-Senior Agent (Sun Direct Calll Centre) to right up to Sun Direct Nodal officer simply refused to do anything and dared me to go to the consumer court to get the issue resolved. The arrogant and high handed attitude of the Sun Direct officials while dealing with the customers shows that the last thing company wants is customer satisfaction

                            Distributor responded promptly when I asked for a new connection and I have received two there call from their dealer. All of them vanished/vaporized after I requested them to rectify the problem facing by me. 38/-


                            I have been paying for the connection all these months without being able to view any of the channels which I had paid for(validity upto July 21st 2011), which is clear violation of consumer rights by the organization.

                            I request the concerned, to take strict action against Sun Direct from duping the customers. Also let this be a warning to prospective customers not to go for Sun Direct DTH. Trust me you’ll be better off with other DTH

                              will lodge comlaint in Consumer Court. Then there is no problem of
                              asking u again and again.

                                A SINCERE ADVICE NOT TO GET A SUN DIRECT CONNECTION

                                I have purchased a Sun Direct Connection with Smart Card No.[protected]R about Jan 2009. And twice got a connection of 12 months each.

                                Customer Support never responds to my requests even if it did so, that is only after months and My DTH Connection is frequently down once in every 3 months for a duration of one month.

                                The first Problem I faced was with a Wire Connector which was replaced for me by sun Direct Customer Support after one month.
                                The Second, when I shifted my residence and kept on requesting Sun direct to re-install my DTH, willing even to pay more, my DTH was reinstalled after three months.
                                Now Sun Direct has shifted to a new Satellite and I am only able to view 20 percent of the channels that I subscribed to. Sun Direct advertises that nearest dealer would make necessary alterations ( shifting the angle of the dish antenna), But My DTH again is down for about 15 days......... God knows how many months Sun direct would take to get things right.

                                I have in all cases of my problems called the Sun direct Customer Care and Dealers and found Zero Response
                                Registered online complaints too.
                                I have even written to the nodal officer Mr.Girish Varghese, SUN DIRECT TV (P) LTD, ITE House,A-102,Ground Floor, Sec-4, Noida-20130,Email: [protected]@sundirect.in, Phone:[protected], Fax:[protected].

One of the agent who spoke to provided me their agency in Kottivkkam (MSP Enterprises).She even told she is facing the same problem for her connetion at home......

                                    I spoke to one of their person after long struggle in reaching them. They promised some on will attend in 3 days time. No response after that. I finally managed to catch hold of some one works for Sun direct agency & paid him Rs 300 , got my dish fixed and retuned the set of Box. As a corporta the group is aquiring more business but I am really worried how they will perform unless & until they service customers in their exsisiting business!!!!....EVEN A CEO or HIS DOESNT HEAR CUSTOMER complaints

                                    As I understand from your information flashed on TV & provided by the agent at the call center the DISH to be realigned & retuned.

                                    When I lodged this complaint formally I was told this will be fixed within 3 days . I waited patiently for 3 days there wasn't any response, Followed up with the call center again & I was assured some body will be attend to it within next day max. I was also given the numbers of local service agents Sreelaxmi Home appliances[protected] &[protected] to follow up with them directly. It is very unfortunate both numbers were wrong. I again followed up on 25th morning & with lots of effort and pushing your call center to get to the escalation officer. After lot or persistence she said the supervisor will call me with few hours. Finally One Vivekandan called me & said my complaint will be attended within 24 hours & he will call back next day( Tuesday )by 10 a.m . He never provided a call back number on repeated request.
                                    As expected he never called back till now,

                                    Again I tried calling this morning to your call center & system were down. Finally around 2 p.m afternoon I could reach an agent & again with of persistence I was connected to the supervisor Nalini . She is not committing any resolution other than generic answer saying we will attend without any time commitment

                                    I do not want to elaborate more. I am sure you must have understood the issue

                                    Appreciate if you could take necessary steps to resolve my complaint without any further delay.

                                    I have written mail also to nodal too then i have visted the office personally tooo...

                                    Nothing worked on it.. At last i took the right decesion to get stopped SUN direct and i am back to CABLE connection..

                                    Worst experince with SUN Network...
                                    Seems like people from Tony to their nodal bit*ches are being paid more by Reliance Big TV/ Tata Sky than by sun direct.

                                      Dish TV — Non availability of assured channels

                                      i am a subscriber of dish tv. i renewed my account on 1-06-09 by selecting dish silver south package and malayalam language package. In dish silver south package it is given what are the channels one is supposed to get. Star sports is also there in the list and i was getting it till 3-06.-09. when i tuned Star sports to watch 20Twenty world cup conditional access message is showing

                                      it is unfortunate that dish tv is cheating us. they have given toll free number also. but it is simply a tool to cheat customers. firm action should be taken against this. i feel shame on Sharukh khan, who is the ambassador for dish tv.

                                      Sun direct management never respond to any compliant. Since they lost the professionalism they cannot give good(forget good) service. I have plenty o[censored]nfortunate neighbours and friends who uses this useless sun direct who are now fedup of calling the toll free number as well as the local customer care number provided by them. We all are planning to throw that stupid box and go for a another one or better to get a cable connection. we are planning to even alert the people as much as we can about this. our target is to alert the cable users and new tenants, and within two months we can convince at least 600 users. We will continue to do this in future too if they don't change their attitude towards not responding to the customers.
                                      Anyways Sun network never bother about this reviews and they have enough money. But as a user we value money and choose the right one. Please dont get cheated anymore.

                                        I am tired of SUN DIRECT for their unporofessional customare care. They shifted their satellite and they took 2 months to realign my dish. It took more than 20 calls to customer support, every time they say within 24 hrs they send technician, but never did. The customer support executives are very poor at communication, their language is very lethargic, lacks professionalism. The quality of the call is so pathetic, we hear lot of noice around (like a fish market) and they can not hear us properly while we tell our smart card number and other details. After we yell our all the details, they put you on hold which never gets un-holded.
                                        Specific to my complaint of dish realignment, it took 2 months for them to fix it. Thanks to their delaer who fixed it at his free time after 4 visits and number of calls (al their phones are disconnected...!#$%*)

                                        Now I decided to terminate the connection and get rid of this mayhem....! SUN DIRECT will not leave you directly...! now it is my 5th call this day to know the process. One of their excutives at customer support was a great chap who could tell me that I again need to visit the dealer. I tried at their toll free number which is not connected all through the day. Their chennail help desk speaks in TAMIL, their nodal office in Secunderabad has a dead phone which always rings but not gets lifted.

                                        Folks this is SUN DIRECT...! so beware of new connection....!

                                        Don't get tricked by those flashy advertisements and numbers. MPEG4 technology could be very high-tech, but the service is so out-dated, you get lost with the pathetic experience. The FAT guy in the advertisement goes deaf when he heard cheap rate, he goes dumb when he experiences cheap service... ALAS...
