sir i have buy the sun direct dth one year ago but from that time i did not recieve most of the channels close. recently 4-5 main hindi chanels removed also ,which is paid in advance for next six monthes. there are a lot of inconvenience between the customers and the above dth service , in the info section the dth company shows that an upgradation needed to your dth antenna which is provided by local dealers for free to the customers but when i go to the local dealer for the upgradation then they demands for rs.100/- extra, there are not any solution from the company customer care too.

SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE — dth service not functioning properly

Due to change in satellite the dish had to realigned as per their requirement for which they were to send technician free of cost. Complaint had been registered with Sun Direct. Compalint No.[protected]. But till date no response.

Sundirect — No Proper Service

Hi, I have Sundirect. We could not able to see many channels because of Satelite Change. I have called Sundirect Customer Care and informed about this. They promised me that they will send the person to solve this issue. But nothing is happening. I am calling on a daily basis from last couple of weeks and they are providing the same response saying that "we regret the inconvenience, problem with the satellite, we will send the person shortly".

SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE — No Support No service

Dear Friends,
Please do not think to buy sun direct DTH service; his support and service are very very worst. They promise you for next 48 hours to resolve the issue but I am waiting for them from last 2 months. After several complain nothing has been done. They have worst support in Delhi.
So please please don’t buy sun direct DTH, you have several option so please go for that otherwise you have to pay mental harassments.

SUN DTH — poor service support

I am Naresh.S and my SUN dth smart card no [protected]. I complained regarding non availability of many channels and also disturbance in the clarity of the channels. I called call centre on 26/10/2010 and registered my complaints and subsequently followed with them to resolve the issue but till date the problems exits. The customer care person told local distributor has to attend the call and we have forwarded the complaint to local distributor. Local distributor has to attend the complaint.

Pathetic is the situation, customer are taken for task by providing poor service and non responsive local distributor. I request all please do not suggest to any person to buy SUN DTH. Local supplier don't care to provide service and least bothered to attend to the calss. Please tske severe action and ban the service provider and ask customer to return the money paid for dish and installation charges.

Sun Direct DTH — No proper service

Am a sundirect dth customer. My smartcard number is [protected]. I've recharged my connection 12 days back. I was not informed that they've moved to new satallite. I dint get any channels for two days. When i raised the complaint with them i was informed that the dish has to re-aligned. They've note down the complain and also gave me that number with TAT as 2 days to solve the issue. But 7 days passed till now no one has come to re-align. I've never seen such a worst customer service. Even i tried contacting the nodal officers for this issue. Luckily got him on the call but of no use the problem was not solved. If this is the case am damm sure that they can't sustain in the market in the long run. The cheaper rate may bring in the customers but your poor service will not retain any of your customers. If they are ready to pay me back the amount i recharged am very much happy to get it back and go for an alternate service provider.
Poor response

My smart card number is [protected]R and I am really very much diappointed of this sundirect connection, I have launched the complaint more than 5 times to the customer care, but there is no response, so far we are in basic tamil plan and we are not able watch the channels like sun music, raj tv, vijay tv, jaya plus, kalingar tv, vasanth tv, mega tv etc.

Kindly suggest us how to proceed further or where to esclate the problem, really I don't how to resolve my issues, I facing very poor response with customer care. More than 10 time i have called the customer care for this issue but they are misleading me.

SUN DTH — No service support

My SUN DTH is not working from past 15 dasys and i have paid the monthly usage chargrges before using and after several follow up with sun customer support no response from them.

Sun Direct — not giving proper service

Dear concern

I am having the sun direct Dth for my home. from the installation to till date the company not giving proper service any time the set top box has been disturb but no beady there to do any action .now the signel is not in connection and I raise complain on[protected] the complain no is - 1-[protected] but till date the service provider didn’t take any action.

Samaya Kannada Channel Removed

Without giving notice Samaya 24/7 News channel was removed and that too after I subscribe annul package. These people are least bother about Kannada channels and 3rd rated treatment towards Kanndigas.

    sir,
    i am a doctor working at railway hospital,guntakal,anantapur d.t., Andrapradesh, i got my sundirect dth connection as a 6months prepaid package on may31st of 2010..my smart card no:[protected].suddenly my tv channels got scrambled on sep.21st 2010 for which i started complaining at cutomer care..they told that software renewal was going on for which a renewal service has to be done to my dth connection, which is actually a free service done by my sundirect agent from whome i got the connection by name,Mahesh electronics at guntakal {address:Mahesh electronics,kalyani complex main road,guntakal,pin:515801.}..but when i contacted mahesh electronics they demanded a service charge of rs.250/-..when i asked them that this service is free of charge as per the message given on the display screen of sundirect, they told they cannot do it for free of charge,...
    after this i contacted sundirect customer care,activation department ,nodal office at hyderabad but couldn't get the service yet..every time the response is service person willbe sent from hyderabad and the problem will be solved with 48 hrs. of time...but we have seen somany 48 hrs. after that butstill no channels are seen on my tv, having paid the money in full,every day as a customer feel humiliated..
    can u please help me in raising this issue to avail my cunsumer rights??

      I use sun direct.My smart card id is [protected]. There is" E-50-32 no service is available" always on tv screen comes.I called to sundirect customer care they said restore the factory settings but after doing this unable to view the channels.there is some signalling problem.there is always poor signal strength.I tried to contact the distributor seevision sector-7 Dwarka many times by phone on [protected], they always said that technician will come and he would change the direction of the disk.No one came from Sun Direct. kindly do the needful.

        SUN DTH has shifted it's channels to a new satellite and for the last one month splashing a message saying that the antenna would have to be aligned to the new satellite and would be done by their executives free of cost.
        In this connection I have spoken to their call centre, their regional manager, their technician. Every time they commit to come and rectify on a specified date, but never turn up. Whenever I call them, they never respond properly. This is going on for the last 3 weeks.
        Half the channels are gone and only few channels are seen now.

        It is very surprising to note that "SUN" group which has such a strong and professional set up should have such a poor service. They do not seem to have a responsible person in Maharashtra to manager their service.

        Looks like one should stick to established players like TATA or Dish - atleast they will behave a bit more professional and responsible.

        It is high time SUN's management takes note of the high number of complaints and acts........

        Sun Direct DTH — Non responsive

        I have a Sundirect DTH service ( Customer ID No. [protected]) since 2008 and they have changed their Satellite and some realignment of Dish supposed to take up, which was happened in September. I had made a complaint with Customercare on 30th October, 2010 and following up with their customer care and Nodal Officer. Atleast I have spent more than Rs.300 on telephone charges and despite of having reminded on EVERY THIRD DAY, they have not attended this half an hour work leaving me to totally shut down the connection. For the last 2 months they are conveniently deducting the charges without providing service. WHAT AN IDEA MR. KALANIDHI MARANji, the real brother of CABINET MINISTER DAYANIDHI MARAN to make the money after fooling public. Since it is from DMK, I do not expect any immediate solution. The only solution is to shift to other operators and forget whatever you have already lost in subscription fee and telephone charges for making complaints.

          Sun direct is splashing a message on the screen for almost the last one month that they have shifted to a new satellite and the satellite adjustment will be done free of charge.
          I have lodged a request to their customer care call center
          [protected] on[protected] and again on[protected].
          Since then i am calling daily for the same. The routine reply is "it will be done within 24 hours". But till date[protected] no one has turned up. And we are not able to watch any programs.
          Repeated calls are of no result. They are also not providing any escalation mechanism. Unfortunately i renewed my subscription for one more year. If i had known the state of affairs a little earlier i would have shifted to some other service provider.
          I am writing this in detail as i hope others may judge for themselves before jumping on to the SUN band wagon.

          I am a dealer in Jaipur in Malviya Nagar region after making repeated complaints for installation company employees pay no heed .I am not able to understand if the dealers are getting this worst kind of service what will happpen of customers.I pray for the customers those are using the sun direct that they get the services.

          I do agree with that. i had been chasing the SUN DIRECT, from past 20 days.am getting no channels. i must have called more than 200 times. to sun direct... they are just cheating us giving wrong statement. every time they will respond with in 24 hrs. but till date i have passed morethan 500 hrs. with our there service, still they are asking for 24 hrs to revert back. SHAME LESS PEOPLE SITTING IN SUN DIRECT. THEY ARE TELLING TO THE CUSTOMER THEY DON'T HAVE A PROPER STRENGTH (TECHNICIAN.)

          I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU PLEASE DON'T TAKE SUNDIRECT. THEY ARE THE WROST SERVICE PROVIDER AT LEAST IN INDIA.

I contacted the customer care several times and they have given me even a complaint number before three months itself.Now i lost almost all the channels.I demand the full refund for the product

              Please refer the above smart card no. We have a problem with the dishnet since 2nd of this month and we had logged a complaint
              on 2nd and from then continuously we are calling up and till today the service is not attended and we are not getting any reply nor
              was the complaint attended.

              We are really surprised that the customer service of sun direct is so poor that even after 10 days of complaint there is no revert on
              it and no body bothered to attend. During installation, everyone were so quick they came and installed in the night even by disturbing
              us and we did not mind thinking that you have a good customer service. But now when we have a problem with the dishnet, not even
              problem it is completely not working, not a single person has turned up and in turn they ask us to come to OMR road and lodge a
              complaint. We are sorry to tell you this. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE POOREST AMONG THE EXISTING PROVIDERS. We have
              TATA sky also but till today we never ahad any problem and online rectify and assist us even if we face a problem. That is customer
              service. You should be ashamed of your CUSTOMER SERVICE. Following are the numbers which was given to us to contact and complain

                I am getting note regarding upgradation from last 2 weeks. I waited for a week for the engineer to come. i logged complain for the same 1 week ago but still my call is not attened.

                Im not getting all channels in sun direct dish .I logged complain and the complain number is "HY 213 07/12" past 4months im facing same problem and my smart card number is [protected] R. I think u ppl are just ready to grab the custmer money and enjoy without providing the service which is the worlds worst network .
                For the past one month i have all ready complaint to customer care of Sun Driect Chennai and they are unable to tackle this type of serious situation to correct and re-tune the set box via satelite by upgrading from there only and putting some 4 to 5 numbers on there INFO CHANNEL the people sitting there are useless and more than 50 times called to re-tune but what these Sun Direct office persons doing is a criminal attitude and the police has to take an FIR against them on Humilating and disturbing the routine channels stopped and telling that your near distributors and retailers will do it FREE OF COST but completely failed and the central government has to take it serious to send a strict message to clear the matter as soon as possible or to RE-TUNE there customer channels soon which at present completely blank.

                THE SUN DIRECT OFFICE PERSONALS COMPLETELY FAILED TO CLEAR THE MATTER OF RE-TUNING THERE CUSTOMER SETBOX

                    Complaint on SUN Direct DTH TRANSMISSION due to satellite change.

                    I am a Sun Direct DTH customer from Pune, Maharashtra, and the smart card No. r.[protected]. I had given a comment in the web site for the customer care of SunDirect 3 weeks back regarding the TV Channels missing from the transmission due to change of satellite. Still it is displayed in channel No.001 that the technicians from SUN Direct would attend the complaint developed due to change of satellite. When Sun Direct office in Mumbai was contacted, they give me some complaint Number and told that the technician will attend the complaint within 2 days. 3 weeks are passed. Nobody has attended the complaint so far. Many of the Malayalam channels and some Tamil channels are also disappeared. Is the Sun Direct message coming in the channel 001 is genuine or a bogus one? Whether the SUN DIRECT authority is taking the matter seriously. ? Do they attend the complaint immediately.? The dealers of the Sun Direct Dish TV in Pune are not responding to our request. Immediate reply and suitable action is solicited .

                    the same thing was happened to me also. i had given complaint 1 month back to reallign the dish to customer care .they said this will be done within 72 hours. after a week i received a s.m.s. stated thet your complaint number is cancelled. again i contacted customer care. they said sorry for the cancellation.they agave a new complaint no. and said within 3 days their man will come and do that. after 10 days nobody has come. this is the way of service by sundirect.i have paid monthly fees in advance till march 2011.

                    Its like SUN DTH is begging money without delivering promising channels. Even the problem is technical, they should appoint needed people for making customer service.

                    Even 1 day if we dont pay after our subscription period, they are cutting channels, what will they do now for cutting so many channels? will they extend a month subscription for this?? They wont.. Bloody Beggars!!!

                      I have lodged a request on the 22nd of October for the realignment of the antena due to Sun Direct moving to another sattelite.
                      It si the worst experince one can go through the call centre as well as as any sensitivity to client service. I would have called atleaset 100+ times and I have still n ot received any worth while answer.
                      I have decided now to cancle the subscribtion.
                      This is the worst service ever had come on earth. Please dont buy sun dth .. The [censored]s do not care because they own the government.
                      I am also facing the same issue. The Sun Direct service is worst in realignment of the antena. I am tracing them for the past 2 months and frustrated about their serivce. Better to move to another service provider.

                        my name is Bhaskar Sashi Kumar,aged 66,Male,employed as a Manager,stores inspection in a private ltd aviation logistics company at Chennai airport.i have a DTH satellite TV connection from Sun TV network since last two years.my card no.is [protected]R.for the last two weeks i have been getting a cautionary notice on my TV that the SUN TV is in the process o[censored]pdation of their satellite frequencies due to merging with some other channel providers and we have to contact our local dealer for updation.in spite having contacted my local dealer and given him my relevant residential particulars and after having registered my complaint telephonically there seems to be absolutely no response whatsoever.suddenly after about two weeks another caution started appearing on my TV screen which says that the updation process will shortly be terminated.my landline tel no. is[protected] and the mobile no.is [protected].if the receipient of this complaint can ensure that the appropriate SUN TV technical personnel turns up at my residence and resolves this issue then it will go a long way in convincing me that INDIA is not all that corrupt as the western media makes us to be.

                          My smart card No. is [protected]. I am not receiving even basic channels for the past several days. My dish has to be adjusted. In spite of repeated complaints no action is taken. I have already complained that customer service numbers are bogus and they are not in service. Here is an immediate proof of fooling customers. [protected] is the number now being telecast in the TV to be contacted for dish adjustment. I have tried and tried and become tired. "THE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED" is the reply we get. Any one can try immediately. Yes, blaming SUN DIRECT is not correct. They are clever. We are the fo...o...o...o...l...s. .! Even 1000s of 'Enthiran's can be produced by looting from innocent public.

                            Hi this is Harish am the coustomer of Sundirect DTH, My smart card no [protected] from last 15 days am unable to watch even single Chanel also, they r provid the service person number [protected] person sandeep i tryed this num it's swich off there is one more num [protected] he is not picking the call, and i have try ed almost 8 to 10 times request number[protected] and [protected] on 10/11/2010 i have spoken with one customer care person he speak rash with me.

                            Sun direct customer care is very poor.sometimes they r not picking the phone and even if they pick they r telling that they will solve the problem within 2 days. but even after 15 days am are not getting any response from them

                            please take some action against this people and give me the solution for the problem and let me know the states.

                            Sun direct dth ki service sabhi baaki dth se poor hai. Isme na to mob. par SMS aate hain aur naa hi dth service connection mail option me koi mail aata hai. Koi kisi bhi package ke bare me customer ko koi taza konwledge nahi milti. cust. care. par baar baar mob. no. reg. karane ki baat kahte hain. par sms koi nahi aata.

                                All most all channels are not accessible in my receiver from one and half months back. I kept quite because the problem is with your end and i was offered a service with in 24 hours when i took the connection. i am loosing my money as this is a prepaid service.

                                And at last i raised a complaint on 31st of October and the complaint number is[protected]. I was informed by the call center team that it will be resolved in 48 hours. I didnt get any response from anyone from your team till today eventhough i raised another querries for the same. The complaint numbers are 1-[protected] and 1-[protected]. Everytime i get 48 hours time to resolve. .
                                From the customer service team, i get only this stories as technician will call me and i have to wait till then. But they dont know when it will happen. They are not willing to provide the contact numbers of the technicians and their escalation team.

                                SUN DIRECT DTH is one of the most pathetic service provider that I have ever come across in my life. I am a customer of Sun direct since Oct 2008. The services are getting worse day by day. One or the other channels keeps vanishing day by day and when you call up the Customer care, either you get the information as there is some technical issue and will be sorted out asap(that never happens) or you get the BREAKING NEWS that the channel is no longer available in your package. For getting those channels, you either have to sacrifice some few other good channels or pay extra for getting those channels along with the other channels.
                                For almost 2 months I was not getting half of the channels and the excuse they gave was that there was some satellite problem. Then they told me that the systems needs up-gradations. Even after up-gradations, I still don't receive many of the channels. Calling up the customer care is another big challenge. You have to ensure that you keep enough Disprins with you before making a call to the customer care, since after ending the call, you are sure to get a terrible headache. The Agents hired them cant even speak properly and dont even have the basic knowledge to be given to the customer. For most of your questions, they will have a standard line "Sir, we don't have any information"., neither do the poor customer who are cursing the time when they decided to purchase their connection.

                                I request to all those who are reading this to think twice before you go for this pathetic DTH service provider.
                                Past one year i am using sun direct set up box...every month we fed up with sun direct customer care. on sunday 10/10/10 at 12.05 pm. i did EASY RECHARGE.. but i dint get any credit in my account. while speaking with sun direct customer care ppl. they said TECHNICAL PROBLEM within 2 hour it will activate. after 2 hour again i called to them they said TECHNICAL PROBLEM within 2 hours it will activate.. after 2 hour again i called to them they said TECHNICAL PROBLEM within 1 day it will activate..but after one day i called them and asked they said u dint recharge..here No Technical Problem..again buy card and recharge...Because of this stupid services i spent Rs 220+mobile balance..Sun direct ppl are big cheater, money sucker, day by day they cheating in different way with modern ideas..u pls take some necessary steps... if its continuous again..surely i will log complaint in consumer court..
                                I am Sun Direct customer since 17th Dec 2007, Sun Direct day by day worst, because I recharged my account on 09/09/2010 and 27/09/2010, they customer care toll your account period is 27/10/2010. How is possible. The Sun Direct is playing the customers. I think Sun Direct only one month period is 23 days only. Another one is more channel is not coming in the Sun Direct. they get the money too channels. When I called customer care. They telling some technical problems our setillite is crashed we changed another setillite. 3 months not realy more channels. They tell since 1 half month our technician is come to your home they changed the dish direction. No one can come with in this months. I think Sun Direct is Cheating.

                                  I am one of the old customer of Sundirect staying in Malviya Nagar, customer id : CR-2372250. Recently sundirect had provided the free re-alignment facility to all his customers. I have raised the complain against these guys to do the re-alignment as early as possible but no response. Later 1 month back, I am not able to see any channels and I am getting on all of the channels message as "No Signal".

                                  During this period I have tried calling there customer care department several times. Below are the different complaint numbers provided by them:

                                  There were more complains I dont have the track of them. Each time these guys wait for 24 hrs. but no response. Its almost 1 month I have not seen any of there tech guys coming in doing the fix.                                   I want them to fix this issue ASAP and refund back the amount for the period where in I am not able to see any channels. if they are not able to fix it they should take away there set top box and refund the money back.

                                  While surfing over the net, I am seeing most of the people are not satisfied with service of Sundirect. I am really frusturated and want through this website they should ask the sundirect team and get this resolve ASAP.

                                      i had raised a complaint on 24th of Oct 2010 saying that iam not getting few channels one of the customer care executive told me that she had taken the complaint for the same wait for 72 hrs,

                                      i have waited for 1 week again called to Customer care on 31st Oct 2010
                                      (call 1) when i aksed the status a lady told me that there is no such complaint is raised when i asked her to transferr the call to TL she told that no TL will be avilable and disconnected the call,
                                      (call 2) even she said that there is no complaint is raised when i asked her to transfer the call she told me that ther is no TL available later i asked her to give the mobile number of TL she is given some wrong contact number when i call to that number some body form Annanthpure answered the call and said that it is a wrong number and disconencted the call.
                                      (Call 3) when i had called customer care a guy picked the call he appologised for what ever is happend and promissed me that issue will be resolved by 1st Nov evening.

                                      issue was not resolved,

                                      so again called customer care on 6th Of Nov 2010.

                                      Some body answered the and when i have explained every thing she told me that she is taking another complaint on the same i aked her to transferr the call she transferred to Senior CCE Sureaseh, he said that the issue will be resolved at any cost by 6th Nov Evining.

                                      but issue is still not resolved

                                      i got fed up with this servies and i dont left any other opions other than approcing consumer form,

                                      So iam raisning this complaint.

                                      hi biju from bangalore...another unsatisfied n furios customer with sun direct.
                                      when i spoke to my distributor regarding the problem of channels being unavailabe...he told me that he himself was a sufferer with sun dth as he has not got his commission for last 2 yrs from sun direct. HE advised me to shift to a better service provider n to let go the money with sun direct as a charity or he would charge Rs 500/- to adjust the Dish.Surprising to know that such providers still claims false advertisements. I have registered a lot of complaints but unfortunately the customer service executive are unable to speak proper English, they tell me that no salary has been recieved by the Customer service Executive. I dont understand Why Sun Direct has to hit on the stomach of their Executives.

                                      I have had problems with my Sun Direct DTH from the last 2months.

                                      I request all to kindly shift to another professional provider rather than wasting our time and money on phone call. I have told all my friends to shift from Sun Direct to other providers.

When i saw my sundirect account, the billing cycle shows monthly. I lodged a complaint through phone on 23.07.13. I received a message that your complaint no.1-[protected] and WRONG VALIDITY will be assigned to our engineer, will be attended shortly.

                                        But today also the same billing cycle. LET ME KNOW, WHEN THIS COMPLAINT IS GOING TO BE ATTENDED. AFTER THE BALANCE IS NILL.

                                        I NEED THE ABOVE ISSUE TO BE SOLVED OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
