i took this connection from chengalpet, tamilnadu,(smart card no.[protected]R) and has now brought it to kerala on shifting residence. On 06 jun, i gave a request (no.16 dt 06 jun) for refitting, to the local sun tv distbtr- channel vision, white city complex, payyannur, kannur, kerala. Despite assurances that the job will be completed by yesterday, 08 jun, it was not done. When enquired, they replied that it will be done only today 09 jun. Then i registered a complaint regarding this (complaint no.[protected]) with sun tv customer care no.- [protected] on 08 jun.
They first refused to record the complaint and told me to contact the local dealer again. After insisting , they recorded the complaint and said that it will be attended to, within 48hrs. When the local dealer refused to commit that it will be done today, i again rang up the customer care today by 1200hrs and complained. The executive there tells me to personally go and check with the local distrbtr and that phone call will not be good enough. Then i escalated the complaint and talked to Noor Mohammed who says that he will give another distributors no. and that i may contact them. He also says that the complaint will be attended to in 48 working hrs, that is 5 days. Then i asked to record a complaint for cancellation of connection due to poor response and attittude of the staff concerned. He categorically refused to record the complaint and said that this request will be taken by the distributor. This conversation took 50 mins as noor mohd was adamant and irresponsible and non-cooperative. He was so very least bothered that he even gave me his initial so that i can make a complaint against him. He also refused to further escalate the complaint saying that he is the final authority. After this, when i went to the local distrbtr, channel vision, to cancel the connection,
they say that i will have to contact the chengalpet distrbtr for cancelling connection. They however recorded my complaint for cancelling the connection (no.- 27 dt 09 jun). I also observed that they are not recording the date and complaint no. On my insistence,they put the complaint no.
Now, the sun tv service is so poor that you cannot attend the call and
give the connection, nor are you able to cancel the connection.
Please cancel my connection immediately. Since this is because of poor
service, also refund the charges for the remaining period of the
validity and also refund rs. 50/- for the 50 mins of call i made and
also refund another rs 50/- for the petrol charges i spent on going to
the local dealer, failing which, i shall be going to the consumer
court. this is the final notice.

Sun Direct DTH — SERVICE IS NOT GOOD
My name is KRV Reddy. I have taken a Sundiret connection on Sep 2008 in the name of KRV Reddy for ten months subscription.The smart card no is [protected]R for the past two weeks. I coud not receive any channel and getting error messages only [E16-4 Service is currently scrabled]. I have been rining the customer service for the past two weeks. Compliants Nos SR#[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[prot...⇄ and[protected]. These are my complaints against my problems. But, problem not shortout by customer care of sundirect till date from 08 Jun 2010.Our nearest customer servicer number is[protected] and sun direct dealer Mobile No [protected]. Could you please give the orders and take necessary action.
