I am a SUNDTH customer for more than 1 year .My smart card number is [protected] and Set Top box Number is P[protected] .For viewing World Cup Football,my connection has been recharged on[protected] &[protected] and activated add-on FIFA ESPNSTSPN package on[protected] .But unfortunately add on FIFA package is not received till this day. When I am trying to view the channel 500(ESPN) and 502(Star Sports) message receiving is “E-80-35 Service is currently scrambled”. I have contacted SUN DTH customer care center (phone[protected]Chennai) ,[protected]Cochin) and[protected]Calicut)) for more than 15 times during the last 20 days. The same reply received from the customer care for the last 20 days is “It is a Technical Issue. A complaint has been registered and your problem will solve within 24 hour”. But no positive action to solve my problem is not seen taken from SUN DTH and i cancelled the addon package FIFA ESPNSTSPN on[protected]. Yesterday I contacted nearest SUN DTH dealer (MAS Vision, PP/7 393 H, Badusha Building,Opp. Ambadi Textiles,Kuttiadi Road,Perambra-673523. Phone[protected] and they advised to change the Set top box. As per their direction I have activated the addon FIFA ESPNSTSPN package again and changed my set top box with an old one (Set Top box Number H[protected]) supplied by that dealer. Now the message displayed is “No signal” and when I am trying to scan the channel, no channel is displayed. I have contacted customer care center at cochin on[protected] and they replied that it is a “Pairing issue” and will solve within 24 hour. But no action is seen taken evenafter 11 days.

I think the Set Top Boxsupplied by the dealer (MAS Vision, PP/7 393 H, Badusha Building,Opp. Ambadi Textiles,Kuttiadi Road,Perambra-673523. Phone[protected] is a defective one and it is the problem relating to Set Top Box. So it is the responsibility of the dealer to replace the Set Top Box and rectify the problems. But no positive action is taken from the dealer side.

SUN DTH — Why? free to air channels scrambled

I am customer of sun DTH. I found that Free to air channels are scrambled on sun dth. other dth services like tata sky & dish tv are giving fta channels without Scrambling. only they are scrambling pay channels.

is it ok on legal point of view?

i am trying to recharge my sun dth through customer care but they are making me to wait in line for a long time(i think they are wantedly doing this) the phone call cost is increasing...... so i suggest to keep customer care number as toll free number.

SUN DTH — Fraud Committed by Sun DTH distributor

Star Distributors, Distributor of Sun DTH at Andheri ( E ), Mumbai committed fraud of collecting Rs 3325 in cash from me and credited only Rs 400/- to the account. This was done through their employee Pradip Dubey. Rs 2925/- was pocketed by this distributor fraudulently.

SUN DTH — horrible customer service

1st the cust.care exe. doesnot the various packs provided by the sun dth,2nd before the expiry of the due date the signal is cut off,3rdto change from the south pack to north pack the sun dth cce is telling me to do so at the midnight 4th the sun dth website allows you to change the password but the sun dth cce is questioning why did you change the password and are not allowed to do so.and last but not the least, the sun dth cce are illiterate about their sundth services

SUN DTH — Not attending of complaint

I am facing some problem with my SUN DTH set top box for last 30 Jun, 2010. I am contact to customer care of SUN DTH service and told that I am not getting signal on main supply but it is running on inverter but somebody who attending the complaint convince me that I have problem with my wiring or Voltage may down and it require stabilizer. Accordingly I called electrician and check the supply line but it was OK. On the same day I called technician to check the inverter supply line and it was also OK. After that I contact to customer care on 03 July, 2010 and registered the complaint and give me the complaint No.[protected] and promised to attend the complaint within 24 hours. On 04 July, 2010 at 10:54 in the morning I want to know about the status of my complaint and somebody who attended my call told me 04 hours to left for attending and call after 24 hours. Again I call back to customer care on 04 July,15:28 and replied by customer care that we are sorry to not attending the complaint and we registering your complaint and give me the No.[protected] and it will be attended next 24 hours. I am serving in Min of Defence and staying with my wife and my 3 years old daughter. My family is facing great deal of problem to pass her time. It is requested to arrange to attend the complaint immediately and compensate the period during which I am not using the service of SUN DTH.

Sun Direct DTH — Breach of customer relationship and support

1. No service available since 7th of July (its 3 days since the black-out)
2. No customer intimation/information till 9th of July on the loss of service, from SUN Direct
3. Toll free # number is not functional. The same was the case even before.
4. The local customer care contact responded (8th July 9pm)after umpteen calls and the response was unsatisfactory-"Satellite problem, Donot have any further information.Would be rectified by 8th July midnight". No complaint registration or tracking of complaint was available. Lack of proper customer service.

What needs to done....Is there a way that SUN direct DTH can be sued?

SUN DTH — SERVICE FAILURE

WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS OF SUN DTH FROM LAST TWO YEARS. LAST TWO WEEKS THE PROBLEM ARE COMING MORE. WHEN WE CONTACTED CUSTOMER CARE THE PHONE NO'S ARE ALWAYS BUSY. NO REPLY FROM NODAL OFFICER.

THIS WEEK AGAIN NETWORK FAILED LAST FRIDAY ON 16.07.2010. TILL NOW NO ACTION.

The above complaint lodged on[protected]. So for the SUNDIRECT authorities had not looked in to my problem and rectified the technical mistake appearing on the screen as E16-4 service is currently scrambled. The technitions of sun direct can easily solve this problem. I want I should be able to see all channels in TV, as I have paiod the subscription up to[protected].I request sundirect authorities to look in to the nature of problem involved and setright my TV to be watched as usual. Alternatively the amount of subscription held with sundirect for 15 months up to[protected] plus cash balance of Rs.164/- available in my account with you so that I can go to other network.

Pure Genuine players like Tata Sky, other do the best in customer service and this CC folks never ever transfer call to higher authorities....they will solve it by just saying 24 hours or 48 hours.....

Really upset by using this service, I wait until Monday otherwise I am gonna throw the dish and setup box to trash...

In continuation of my above complaints I acknowledge the resumption of basic package channels. But I am not receiving Zee telugu channel which is pay channel for which the amount is already paid.The same is yet to be resumed by Sun DTH. Zee Telugu channel may be viewed very early, as your consumer care center is of no use.They are resetting the channel everyday with no result

SUN DTH — non availability of channels

i am thrijayakumari . i have sundth connection .kairaliwe , indiavision radio channels utv movies utv action etc are not available. no response from them.

In continuation of the above complaint I have to state that the Zee Telugu channel is not established so for as the same is being shown as E16-4 SERVICE IS CURRENTLY SCRAMBLED. I do not understand why the Sun DTH is not showing this channel when they have received advance payment for full month.for Zee Telugu channel. SUN DTH — NON AVAILABILITY OF PROGRAMME

To All Concerns regarding SUN DTH,

Very sorry to inform you that even after repeated phone calls and emails you were not able to restore my new sun dth connection till now. In this situation I have to look for other alternatives and request you to kindly disconnect my connection and pay back the amount given to your distributor Rs 990 + 120 (extra cable charges) immediately. I can imagine if a new customer like me having such an experience from SUN DTH distributor then what would be for the existing old customers? any how this is not my concern here after. Please pay back the money invested on you immediately.

In continuation of my above complaints I further state the very bad state of detorioating condition of the Sun Direct in failure to provide the basic channels usually provided to us from long time. They have withdrawn the Business channels like Bloomburg UTV I, Times Now, and NDTV Profit. When enquired with customer care says these channels were removed and they do not know when these channels will be reintroduced. They informed me the News Boquet channels containing CNBC is also removed.I do not understand why they were advertising for booking of new customers when they are utterly failed in satisfy the old customers like me.This is nothing but cheating the customers.I request the Indian Consumer Forum to initiate necessary legal action against Sun Direct for cheating the customers by non providing the promised channels heather to being provided.

SUN DTH — channels cut after few months gradually

I am a subscriber of SUN DTH 06/06/2010 on payment of Rs1600/ with an offer of maximum channels at lowest payment with first six months free offer and world cup season channel ESPN and Star sports for a few days. Now just after 2 months I found that channels CHIRITHIRA, INDIA VISION, ETV NOW, NDTV PROFIT, CNBCTV18 one by one on the offer that the some channels are complementary and may discontinued at any time with a star marking. This is actually cheating the consumers and getting a huge profit by avoiding pay channels by the company. So kindly let the others be alert not get in to this trap. My attempts to access through internet failed and hence could not inform the complaint
Yeah, it is still happening to me. I called up bloody customer care and they said in 2 days, the problem will be solved. After 2 days, nothing happened. Again when I called them, they said some company guy will come and change the settop box. When I called that company guy, he said he will come tomorrow and that tomorrow never came. When I called that guy again, he says it will be charged Rs 1650 when the customer care guy said its free. Now that all the things happened and again I called customer care, they were so callus that they just held the phone and did not talk to me.

Please tell me if we can make a group and go to consumer court.

SUN DTH — telephone calls on recharge

My customer ID No.0188805 and smart card No.[protected]. I recharged the dth last month ie. in October 2010. Before that during Sep.10, due to TV fault I could not recharge. For that I received call from sun dth (no.[protected] and i told the reason and then recharged in Oct.10. Again in oct.10 also call came from the same no. enquiring about the recharge. i explained to him that i recharged. But he gave instructions over phone to switch on the TV, that time no power supply. Then now due to some compulsory family situation, i don't want to recharge the dth a about 10 or 12 months time. I am going to job. Now for the last one week, i am receiving calls atleast 5 to 6 times between 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. I am trying to locate the shifted place of arka direct (local office) to report to them about the present position. This phone calls gives me mental agony. Soon i ll inform the local office. So i request that i dont want to receive any more calls from that phone.

SUN DTH — NOT ATTENDING TO COMPLAINTS

Ref Sun DTH Smart card No.[protected] for non receipt of channels. The first complaint was made on the 22nd of October and since then every other day we are contacting Sun DTH on their number 39407575 and every time the answer is their technical staff will get in touch with us and set right matters within 24 hours. Since
then atleast eleven 24 hours has passed and no signs of the technical staff. Their supervisors or managers never come on line nor can we get in touch with them. Why are they hiding behind the back office ladies. The poor back office ladies gets all the firing from the public.
We are not asking for any free service. We should get proper service for what we have paid. If not refund the money. It looks like once money , then nobody cares.
I would like also to hear from others who have similar experience from SUN DTH.
Then you see the number of people who have been cheated by SUN DTH.

Hopefully atleast SUNDTH will see this compliant and wake up from their slumber.

It it is not done within 24 hours . I will be forced to cancel the SUN DTH. Whatever amount is in credit may be refunded.

I've made my complaint too but to no avail. I've been calling them daily for the past 1 month but no one has ever turned up. Lodged complaint to their executive, customer care and their nodal officer. they didn't even take a single action. I'm now spreading this thro small print outputs everywhere possible. I've shared my experience in my office portal so is my family members. I've posted the pamplet i prepared in every near by apartments thro our security. I
ve directly stopped 4 new tenants in my apartment from bying Sun DTH. please spread awareness. There is nothing else we can do. This network is being run by a very powerful family that no complaint will be heard ot actioned.

SUN DTH — Re alignment of DISH

I have shifted my residence one month back and I gave the request to SUN DTH customer care for realignment of my DISH . But initially they told within 11 hours they will come and do the realignment. No body came and again I called them and asked for realignment , then they told within 48 hours technician will come and do the repair. No body came. Once again I called them then they told within few days the problem will be resolved. Till date no body came or contacted for re alignment.

SUN DTH — Worst service for problem

I have a sundth dish antenna. My card number is [protected]. Most of the channels are not coming at all and they informed that they have to tune the dish accordingly. But it is almost three months no technician came to home to do this. I have called the customer care in bangalore for aboout 87 times still they say they will send today tomorrow. the wrost service of all the dish service providers is by sun direct.
I also have the same problem. contacted 6 times to customer care. they are laughing and giving the same answer we will get back to you. till now after 3months they have not rectified the problem. worst service ever. consumers doesn't have any rights in India. If SUN is in US. SUN will be out of business in a day.

I am a customer of Sun Direct, My set top Box had not worked from[protected] to[protected], for this I had lodged a Complaint at Sun Direct Customer Care, I got the following Information from their:


1. Service Charges of Dealer – From Rs 100 to 400 (Earlier they charged Rs 300) + Additional Charges in case of any physical damages or change of Part.

2. New Connection + Set Top Box + 4 Month subscription = Rs 525 + Rs. 1250 (Installation) = Rs. 1775.

The above information appears to be funny to me. one should take a new connection rather than repairing the Sun Direct Set Top Box.

I had charged my sun direct smart card with Rs. 150 on[protected]. I requested at sun direct customer care, not to deduct any amount from my account as I am not using the services of Sun Direct. (Customer care Executive / Nodal officer and Technical Inspector refused, they said we can not help you in this regard this is as per the policy) This is an example of very poor customer care Service, No action is being taken by the nodal officer Delhi and UP. I am fed up with the services of sun direct.

I have handed over the Old connection Set Top Box to the technical Inspector Mr Manoj on 21/09/2010.

Kindly take appropriate action in the matter with penalty for deficient service and for compensation. I have spent atleast Rs. 300+150 with frustration in phoning and emailing Sun Direct. Above all I lost one month TV entertainment because of sun Direct.

Now on 27/09/2010, as per the telephonic conversation by the technical inspector if I have to take one year subscription then they will give me new connection of Rs 2465. I have to agree and I have taken a new connection. I have paid Rs 2000 to Mr Manoj, Technical Inspector Sun Direct, Noida, no Receipt was given by him to me till Date and connection was activated by him only for three months i.e. Upto[protected]. I have called him number of times. Also no receipt of old set top Box and smart card was given by him.

Now I feel that customer is of no importance for Sun Direct Company and its officials.

We have subscribed a SUN DTH long back and last few months when you changed the satellite this cause lot of channel missing. I have called SUN Customer care number of time. I am sorry to say that there is no care for existing customer.

Nice to see the feedbacks..Now a days, Homecast STB users are complaining that they could not change the values(Frequency, SR, etc..) even after entering the passwords(0000, 1133, 7799)..Earlier it could be modified easily..If anyone has the solution, pl share it here so that it will be helpful to others.

SUN DTH — SUN DTH is not capable of resolving issues.

Hi,

I made complaint to SUNDTH in April 2010 as setup box is not receiving signals from dish at all. They said we will resolve the issue in two days however that two days didn't complete yet even after 8 months. I called morethan 15 times(infact phone bill become exceeds Rs. 500/-). Every time they used to tell with in twodays they will resolve, if I shout at customer guy he will tell as it is some technical issue senior team has to respond.

My complaint number is SUN108756.

Infact in April I recharged my account with Rs. 200/- for IPL3, they deducted that amount without providing any service.

This way SUN DTH is robbery from its customers without providing service and responding to customer care.

Hope it will be a lesson to the readers before choosing SUN DTH.

SUN DTH — No response to complaint filed a month back

I am unfortunate customer of Sun Direct in Tamil Nadu. There has been no response for a complaint stating channels clashing and hence not able to watch TV for the past one month.
I have been a customer of Sun DTH in Bangalore for 3 years. There hasn't been one issue. Wanted to take up Sun DTH here in Chennai but Chennai service is useless. I got the connection in mid of November and from day one I have not been able to watch TV for more than 5 minutes.
I filed a complaint a month back stating my channels were clashing and hence I was not able to watch any channel for more than 5 minutes. No one has even bothered to respond to that complaint.
Every time I call the customer service, they say they are sorry for the inconvenience. but who wants your sorry when it is used as just a word and not meant to resolve my issue.
I am not sure how to escalate the problem . This is not an issue of realignment. This is a new connection which is not working fine.
Hope at least after filing this complaint some one would look into my issue.

SUN DTH — Retuning

Hi,

I have been customer Sun Dth since last 8 months. I am not able to watch TV from last 2 months and just a message only showed in the TV that we will send a Sun Dth technician there for free to retune your set topbox as they have installed some new satellite for there service. Therefore I called there customer care, they told me that you have to recharge your account so that we can send the technician to your doorsteps. I have recharged my dth account for Rs.200 after listening there words. After recharging I called the customer care again, they asked my address and some information to reach my home and gave me a reference number. Now its going to complete 1 month I never got a call from there technician at all. I called the customer care a lot of times they never answered my calls and when I got answered they told that dont recharge your account as it will take time for the retuning. I asked that how much time it will take they were not giving a proper answer simply igoring by saying our technician will call you as soon as possible.

SUN DTH — how to add channel

i added 25rs top up in sun dth website to my pin number! but how to add particular channel in that topup amount?

SUN DTH — No service even after we paid the amount

Dear Sir,

I want to raise an complaint against the Sun Dth connection. I have got Sundth connection and it was the prepaid connection, So I have paid the amount, but, not able to watch any channels. So, I called the "Customer care of Sundth" and explain the situation, They told, they will send an technician within 24 hours to resolve this issue.

I've been calling them daily for about 20 days (since I raise an complaint). And ask, "When the customer come and resolve this issue?". Daily they are also answering, "they will come within 24 hours". I've sent an email regarding this issue through email. But still, no action has been taken.

So from this. The amount I've prepaid is useless and called around 30 times till now is also useless. Please assist what action I can take against them.

      I have taken ESPN as addon pack on 12th June to watch Worldcup football match and from 28th June i have not getting the channel and I called more than 15 times and every time the answer was it will get within 30 minutes to 2 hours and after 96 hours I was not able to see the channel.

      My self Jai Pahelgani taken a Sundirect Connection in Jan 09 in the starting it was nice but day by day its going worst.

      Few days ago there was a error on the screen and for that i called customer car but they didnt responce

      Then i contected my nearest dealer they said they will help me but for this i have to pay Rs170/- they send their person he came and just open a bolt and then tightened the same and got Rs. 170/-

      It worked for few days now again its coming the same problem

      My Smart Card No-[protected]. I have activated my account on 02.12.2010. Since than I am not getting any reception of Sun Direct. Message displayed on the TV screen was "Searching for signals"
      I lodged a complaint on 04.12.2010(Complaint No [protected]). I was told that dish need to be realigned since Sun DTH satellite is relocated. Technicians will be visiting soon to my place.
      Till date nobody has attended the complaint. I have contacted several time customer care and every time I was told that "Very soon some body will be attending your complaint". Even after 22 days no body has attended. 1 month of validity period is also lost without any service available. I sent complaint through this mail also on 03.12.2010 and 16.12.2010 but no reply is received till date. Ultimately I contacted the local distributer of Sun DIRECT and his technician did the realignment but still no signal is received. Now E-100 and E-16 messages are only displayed. On 30.12.2010 again I contacted customer care and as usual they assure that your technician will visit but no body has turned up so far.
      As a last resort, I request you to do some thing at the earliest.

        my smart card no is [protected]R i used to give complaint from last one month. Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.

          I am a subscriber of sundirect DTH. My set top box No is. [protected]. From 11.05.2010 I am not getting ESPN&Star Cricket channels, after adding them paying the subsription amount demanded by the operater. I registered my complaint on line. And their representative from tel No.[protected] (Ernakulam) contacted me and asked me to do some procedures as per their instruction. After 3 or 4 days, since no result came, they asked me to contact their dealer near to me, from where I bought the settop box to rectify the error. And when i contacted the dealer A&V sons net, Vadakkencherry, Palakkad dist, they asked me to bring the set top box to their shop. And aftersome time, they told me that the settop box is ok, you contact the customer care centre at no. [protected] to get the channels. And after may days attempt, i got the no and done some procedures as per their advice. The they told me that the mistake is with the settop box, you contact the dealer A&V sons to get the settop box repaired! This way that they are just fooling a customer, after collecting the subscription amount. Even though the dealer have provided some 6 telephone nos, they never attend the phone calls. Yesterday I added the channel ESPN paying 38 Rs. to view the world cup football. But of no use.Pl help

              i took this connection from chengalpet, tamilnadu,(smart card no.[protected]R) and has now brought it to kerala on shifting residence. On 06 jun, i gave a request (no.16 dt 06 jun) for refitting, to the local sun tv distbtr- channel vision, white city complex, payyannur, kannur, kerala. Despite assurances that the job will be completed by yesterday, 08 jun, it was not done. When enquired, they replied that it will be done only today 09 jun. Then i registered a complaint regarding this (complaint no.[protected]) with sun tv customer care no.- [protected] on 08 jun.
              They first refused to record the complaint and told me to contact the local dealer again. After insisting , they recorded the complaint and said that it will be attended to, within 48hrs. When the local dealer refused to commit that it will be done today, i again rang up the customer care today by 1200hrs and complained. The executive there tells me to personally go and check with the local distrbtr and that phone call will not be good enough. Then i escalated the complaint and talked to Noor Mohammed who says that he will give another distributors no. and that i may contact them. He also says that the complaint will be attended to in 48 working hrs, that is 5 days. Then i asked to record a complaint for cancellation of connection due to poor response and attittude of the staff concerned. He categorically refused to record the complaint and said that this request will be taken by the distributor. This conversation took 50 mins as noor mohd was adamant and irresponsible and non-cooperative. He was so very least bothered that he even gave me his initial so that i can make a complaint against him. He also refused to further escalate the complaint saying that he is the final authority. After this, when i went to the local distrbtr, channel vision, to cancel the connection,
              they say that i will have to contact the chengalpet distrbtr for cancelling connection. They however recorded my complaint for cancelling the connection (no.- 27 dt 09 jun). I also observed that they are not recording the date and complaint no. On my insistence,they put the complaint no.

              Now, the sun tv service is so poor that you cannot attend the call and
              give the connection, nor are you able to cancel the connection.

              Please cancel my connection immediately. Since this is because of poor
              service, also refund the charges for the remaining period of the
              validity and also refund rs. 50/- for the 50 mins of call i made and
              also refund another rs 50/- for the petrol charges i spent on going to
              the local dealer, failing which, i shall be going to the consumer
              court. this is the final notice.

              But when i called them they are not picking.After a long time i got the response from the customer care executive(Its very shame to say them as Customer care Excecutives Since they dont know how to speak and understand the problem).
              They will speeak like machines some times as drunk men speak.
              Some times they will divert the call also.
              It took more than half an hour to make him under stand the problem.
              Then he asked me to "Be on the Line" for another 5-10 minutes no response.
              Finally he gave me one number, i asked whose number is this. Then he told that he doesnt know that.He gave one more number.
              I tried both.One person picked the call and said that he doesnt know about Sun direct and number belongs to some electricity departement.
              Another number person said to me that he is a dealer but he cant do anything, better call Customer Care(for Customer Cheating).
              Again i called the Customer Care . Again it took 10 minutes to make him understand my problem.In between the call he will ask somany question like name address, number, date of birth, fathers name (Dont wonder if he asks or grand parents name also).He asked me to be on line.If we directly go there defenitley we will kick him.That type IRRESPONSIBLE persons are THERE WITH SUN DIRECT.
              Then he gave me the back end team(I dont know whats that god only knows SUN).
              Back end team asked somany thins which i have told the first executive already.
              Simply time wasting. (They will only ask donot do anything even compalint registeter).Back end team gave me one more number and asked me to contact them.When i called to this new number nobody is picking the call.I tried a lot somany times. No response.Again i contacted COSTUMER CHEATING(care) executive I SAID HIM the previous reference number, but he asking all the stories again and finally asked me BE on line, for 10 minutes.By that time my blood pressure was soaring.Finally the call got disconnected.
              I dont know what to do, to approach consumer court.
              SO DONT TAKE SUNDIRECT I CAN NOT SEE EVEN DD CHANNELS ALSO

                This is to see if some thing can be done to help me out. I have recently moved from one house to other within Velachery, the distance between old home to the new is hardly a mile. I have called useless customer care and asked for help in the reinstallation. They asked me to contact the distributor where i bought the DTH set top box as expected.

                I have bought the box in Vasanth & co Velachery (Settop Box Number: F[protected] / Smartcard Number: [protected] ) , i have called them and asked if they can guide me. They have given a number to call [protected] and [protected]. I have called them and asked if they can shift the dish to new location, they said they will do it for just INR 450. This amount is almost 5 months Subscription and asked the person if he thinks that is a reasonable charge. He gave a responce that it is my headache that i am changing the house so i have to pay.

                Later called [protected] (Zonal office), and spoke to Aashiya (Nice voice but always answering in a painful rude tone). She transfered me to R Hema. Hema seemed to be helping every time i called, however she gave me multiple instances of assurance that she will try to arrange someone for INR 250. She has given me the names like Bala and team.

                After giving my details to every employee of Sundirect they are giving me a Bhagavathgita of 450 INR again and again. I am wexed up following up with SunDirect.

                I have disided to give a last call to Zonal office to get name who are responding to calls and doing nothing and got a stupid responce of security issues when i asked someone to spell the name of his collouge.

                The above is the history for the past 5 days.

                Today i got a call from Bala ([protected]) saying that he is sending a technician (Krishnamurthy - [protected]) on Wednesday 09th June for INR 300. I have asked him to guide me to the website where there are charges mentioned and he asked me to ignore all and get the job done with this engineer.

                With the current markter trend and Globalization, it seems there is not value to the indian customers and no concept of customer satisifaction. There are many Gobal Market Players who does business abroad and know how things go. I am sometimes feels indians are not respected by indians Business Enterprenours to the level what we were by Britishers 60 years ago.


                Kindly lookin to the same and Keep some space to the Customer satisifation in the indian markets. Please try to help me and let every know the charges so as to plan for these type of changes.

                I hope something will be done for these kind of issues in a fast track and let us see if my issue will be fixed tomorrow.

                my sun direct doesn't give any information on tv or in register mobile no pliz help and i want to change my registration mobile no. to [protected] and my smart card no. [protected].

                About taking wrong amount

                I have rechaged by Rs 279 for Malayalam super pack as per there Custmer center but after wards they say that it only they have recharged by Rs 199 bec's it was earlier package customer care is always lying & giving all wrong informations .

                They say somthing but does according to there wish. Not as per the consumer

                  1) 14-May-2010 - Service request to Sun direct Helpdesk[protected] for shifting DTH due to change in address within city. They hesitated to provide a request No. and informed to raise a request with dealer. Contacted dealer (distributer ID[protected] on their helpdesk No. 91-[protected], 63, 64. ETA(Expected Time of Arrival) of service engineer given 17-May-2010. They hesitated to provide a request No.

                  2) 17-May-2010 - Follow up with dealer. New ETA given 20-May-2010.

                  3) 20-May-2010 - Follow up with dealer. New ETA given 24-May-2010. Again hesitated to provide a request No. New ETA provided 28-May-2010.

                  4) 1-Jun-2010 - Contacted Sun direct Helpdesk (Sugandhi) and explained the situation. Now they have given a request No. [protected]. New ETA provided 4-Jun-2010.

                  5) 5-Jun-2010 - Follow up with Sun direct helpdesk (Abdul). Issue escalated to their Manager Murali. Murali informed within one hour Mahesh will call me and new ETA provided 7-Jun-2010. - No one called up from Sun direct.

                  6) 8-Jun-2010 - Raising this online complaint against Sun direct TV Private limited with Indian Consumer Complaints Forum for not providing timely service after sales.

                  Info: Date of purchase of DTH connection - 15-Feb-2010, Smart card is still active and first recharge date given by Sun direct is 15-Jun-2010.

                    Sun direct tv are the worst cable – dth provider. While purchasing any package they will get your signature which says in very very tiny print ..that they can discontinue any channel any time with or without prior notice. I purchased metro north pack which was quite comprehensive with many many nice channels, but immediately after 15 days 4 channels got discontinue and they say i[censored] want to see them then I will have to pay extra, again after 2 months 3-4 more channels got discontinued … they pls do something abt that. Either they shd refund my amount or they shd start those channels again… plsssss help me….

                          We had Sun Direct DTH Service which was working fine until a week before. A week before the Setop box was changed and since then we are not getting the DTH service. We have made multiple complaints to the Sun Direct Service line but the issue has not been resolved. Moreover they do not even seem capable of resolving the issue. We have asked them to replace the setop box but they are not taking it seriously. We believe they are doing this because we have already paid the money for the service. Is there any way of getting the money back, which we paid for a service which was not delivered.

                            HI,

                            I had recharged Sun Direct for 1 year with amount 1310/-. Sun direct Activated just 6 months plan and takes off the full amount. By talking to their call centre, each time they tell me that the problem will be fixed within 24 hrs. It has been more than 45 days now, the problem is not fixed.

                            My Sundirect smart card # is [protected].

                            I requested Sun Direct to refund the 6 months money, since the money has been taken for no reason.

                            I dont get proper repsonse from them and they still claim that the problem will be fixed and amount will be refunded back to my account.

                            I have lost hopes with sun direct.

                            Please help to solve this problem.

                              The DD National channels are blocked by SUN Direct DTH whenever India's matches in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2010 are telecasted by DD National. As you know DD National channels are free channels. By blocking this only on the match day is to indirectly force the subscriber to subscribe to ESPN & Start Sports by paying Rs.40/- to view the matches. Is it not against consumer rights. As many o[censored]s know SUN Direct DTH is run by a Minister in the Central Government. The Central Government spends lot of money in educating consumers about their rights but a firm run by its own minister is acting against consumer rights. Can't we question this ? If questioned will there be any action against SUN Direct DTH. Is consumer rights in India is only on paper ? When are we going to have real consumer rights ?

                              sun- DTH — No sun tv channels and only 20 dd national channels

                              Sir,

                              This is 2nd mail and 8th time i have called the callcentre about this issue. I had called on[protected] abt this issue,they told me with in 48 hours they will come and retrive, but till date no body has come. Complaint No. is [protected]. Again and again im keep on calling and there is no response. Today 30/09/09 i called and they given another complaint no. [protected], and they told me with in 24 hours they will resolve it.

                              Blocking DD National Channel during Cricket Matches involving India by SUN DTH is 100 % wrong .
                              There are 3 choices for us from which we need to select one (1) wait till the above mentioned minister is out from the central government then register a complaint some thing can happen (2) Make all the people aware of this cheating tricks used by sun dth ( to avoid people from taking sun dth ) . (3) Go back to the old cable network or take any other dth services ( if it is not using these cheating techniques).

                              I have lodged the complaint to Sun Direct thrice through phone and through on line regarding the unavailability of paid channels though after recharging. The worst ever network I have come across cheating customer's and making money out of it.                                 I have recharged for Rs.328/- on 31-10-10 but no activation of channels till this day. Nearly 15 calls have been made. Each and every time the receiver's reply is that the activitation will be done within 48 hours. Likewise more 48 hours have gone till this day. The reply from the receiver's side is like cheating the customer. Even no calls from the otherside for the delay in activation. I have spent more than Rs.70/- for phone calls only.                                   our problem is, there will be no signal if there is any wind outside and if there is any rain.
                                  so, it is a very bad network.
                                  Every time we want to take the card out and then we r getting the channels.
                                  we are usually needed to scan for getting the signal.
                                  The one which we get with out any problem was the 'info channel' provided as the ad. by the company.

                                    I am a subscriber of Sundirect DTH for the last two years.Inspite of my repeated enquiries and requests for inclusion of a protestant christian devotional channel in malayalam is pending.The Powervision TV channel is the most viewed and wanted channel among the keralite christian community and hence I request the authorities to consider including POWERVISION TV which is free channel in the platform of SUNDIRECT for the beneifit of the subscribers.

                                    Yes. I support his request. I know that many people living outside Kerala wants to see Powervision TV, but their cable network operators are not providing or their cable servicies is not satisactory. Many such peoples including myself wants to take Sun Direct if you will be able to give POWERVISION TV.

                                    I believe SUN DIRECT will re-think about and include POWERVISION TV in their Devotional channel list.

                                    I hope this will be beneficial to many people particularly who are staying outside Kerala.
