stopped provision of full service for the last 3 months

My mother has been a customer of Sun direct cable communication for the last 3 years . For the last three months we had not been provided the full service of the above connection even though I had paid entire amount for the stipulated period (Up to[protected]. So I humbly request you to be kind enough to take the necessary action to retain the service effectively and also to grant the compensation for the lost period....

Sun Direct — Not Getting a single channel (even the info channel))

I had purchased Sundirect dish connection a year ago. From the last 4 days we were not getting a single channel. If we called to the customer care they are saying it is a satelite problem. But before that we got only some channels at that time also they told it is a satelite problem. And my neighbour is getting all channels at present. But we are not getting a single channel. If it is a satelite problem, how few people are getting channels and how few people getting some channels and how few people will not get a single channel. I hadn't heared anybody who says he was not getting a single channel.

So please look into this issue. If my smart card number is required i will display it here.

SUN DIRECT TV Channel — Not Showing the entire channel

Dear Sir,

From Last 2 month I am contacting them for not showing the entire Channels as for which I have paid for. When ever I call they always say there is the satelite problem, soon the technicians boy will come and solve the problem. But till date they dont send anyone, and my monthly rental is deducting month by month. I also told to hold my account till the time the technicians come and solve the problem they dont want to do that also. Aftering asking them provide the contact number of my Account Dealer or that technicians who will be visiting, even that information also they do not want to give.

There is no problem with other satelite, why there is the problem with only SUN direct satelite. May be there why dont they hold my account till the Technicians come and give the solution of satelite issue.

After contact them from 2 month, I writing to you for Help. As I Paid for the service, still I dont receiving the proper service.

    A nightmare with SunDirect- I am getting no signal error since 23rd August. It is not rectified even after informing them more than 20 times. Each time they are telling "some 'Tech.' people will call you" or it will be rectified within 48 hrs. Nothing happened even after repeated calls. I could talk only to Call centre persons not more than that. We could not talk to manager or above level persons. This is the working of private organisation.

    In contrary, in case of complaint with BSNL etc. I can talk to AE/JE/AGM/GM and the problems get solved immediately.

      I enabled Star cricket channel as an add-on to my existing Tamil basic Subscription on 07th September 2010 but still it is not enabled. My SunDirect Smart card number is R-[protected]. Everytime when I call their customer care they simply said it will be resolved within two hours. But nothing happend and even they are refusing to return the money also. Their service is worst as anything.

      Date: 15/09/2010.
      Require solution for your problem.
      Send mails to all the following email ids in the To or CC...One of them (assuming some one will be always against some one, takes this option to revenge others) surely take this problem to higher officials.

        I am using sun direct dth for more than a year but for the past 1month iam not receiving any of the channels offered eventhough i called the sun direct helpline call center for so many time and till now the problem is not solved and too they not giving any specify reason for this.

        To higher officals of sun direct

        Sir,

        The support you are giving is very poor and if this continues sun dirtect will not even have a single customer, please take necessary steps to solve this.

        To my point view, offers and discounts attracts customers but quatlity of services and support will make then dedicated to the product.

        At this stage Sun direct is announcing that they have reached 60lacks of customers right now, but they are not in a position to support atleat 1000 customers properly and this is really frustrating for all people like me.

        Yessss, After making a lot of complaint still today not a single technician visited my house my smart card no is [protected]R. Today i talked in customer care with fraud Manoj. Once again same promise that technician will visit your house within 2 hrs. I directly challenged him that please give me your account no. If technician visited or just make a call to my mobile i will pay rs5, 000 in his account. But instead of taking it as challenge fraud companys fraud Manoj disconnect the line & ran away. From last 3months i only managed to watch 57% strength of network with Sun Direct made unlimited complaints not even a single technician visited our house so i dicided to daily make a complaint & result to publish in this network. Lets wait & watch what fraud company will do.

        In my experience the techs will come & do the service but nevefr come in 48 hrs or 4 weeks. U have to contact them regularly. If they come to Ur site the work will be done 90% perfectly. Their offer is like a line in water only. U will not get all the channels!

          Sir, my smart card no is [protected] I also have the some complaints about Sun Direct.My family fed off with Sun Direct it is not working from 8pm to till morning from last 2 months. Our favourite channel is "colors" which shows no signals or poor signal after 8pm, customer care is also not available from evening onwords today after discussing with customer care with almost 2 hours they recd my complaint & gave me the complaint no of[protected] & promised that technician will visit our house within 48 hrs & he will solve the problem lets wait & watch what "fraud Sun Direct" full fill its promise?. I don't have faith because the problem with Sun Direct is almost 2months old now how they"ll solve it within 2days. They also promised that they will not charged till their problems will solved from last 2 months they didn't succeeded to solve their problem. Question is what Sun Direct full fill its promise ?. Sun Direct please answer this question ?. Customer care is already started to tell "NOOOOO". Than why this type of assurance is giving ?

          yes Sun Direct proved itself a fraud company by not fullfilling its promise. customer care is just working as vagabond, when ever we calling them they just used to tell within 2 hrs you will be contacted by our technician after 15 days still today there is no technician nor a phone call from customer care contacted us. What a shameless company, these companys should be put into BLACK LIST.
          yess, yesterday a dealer from i purchased SunDirect DTH visited my home after a lot of request from me. He was trying turn the plate to some other satelite direction, he was just managed to manage DD channels, now iam watching just DD channels after paying avgRs150/month. What a great service from Sun Direct. That dealer was promised me that he will repair it early in the morning now it is 12.10 time afternoon nor a technician nor a dealer contacted us.           I am venu, my SMART card number is #[protected]R. My Sun Direct subscription is not working since 3 days, error coming as “no Channels”. I registered a complaint with service #[protected] two days back. But no response from you.

          Background,
          This Wednesday, a guy- technician came to us saying some channel up-gradation. He inquired about smart card number and disturbed whole set up i.e. DISH. After that, He left in-between. Even we were calling him when we observed that he spoil the SET, he didn’t even responded back.

          Dear Venu my smart card no is [protected]R i used to give complaint from last one month. Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.
          My smart card no of sun dth is [protected] and i have lodged many complaints to call centre local delaer and send many e mail to nodal officer for retunning of my dish becasue i was unable to see many channels but nobody is listening to my problems and their customer care is totaly useless as they fail to give any response in time and any satisfactory solution but charging money for no service i dont know wht to do now

              I logged a complaint with sun direct at their cochin call centre on 1/09/2010 and till today the call hasnt rectified , Also on 06/09/2010 , one of the engineer visited at my residance and he couldnt rectify the issues and while he doing the job for antenna fitting , he breaks the top wall while connecting and left as such and went . till today they hasnt rectified and not appraise me .

                Just want to bring into notice of Poor signal strength and much poor service of Sundirect DTH service. For the last 3 - 4 months, most of the channels are not coming. When called, the staff said that there is some issue in the satellite signal reception. Then after 1 month, they said that they have to load new software and from last 2 months, nthing happened. During the last few days, some channels stopped working e.g. CNBC awaaz (even paid channel) and other channels also not working properly.
                I think its time to change the DTH service provider.

                  I would rather call it a complaint. I'm a subsciber of Sun Direct DTH for the last 1 & half year. However, for the last 1 & half month, there has been no service at all. For my convinient, i had recharged for 6 months and paid Rs.980/-. But my promptness has been betrayed due to the lack of service. Repeated call at the CC number has been unsuccessful. Just imagine, i have been calling your CC number[protected] for the last 45 to 50 days. I'm just wondering if it is a fake number or your CCEs are incompetent. I then wrote an email. After which i got a call from Sushil ([protected])who promised to rectify the issue at the earliest. He sent Vijender([protected]) over to my place to check the problem. According to him, the defect was with the settop box. He didn't solve the problem till the next 2 days. I had to call him again. He checked the box and went away. The TV worked for 30 precious minute and went blank again. Vijender came back and said that the box is defective and need to be changed. It cost me Rs.500 to change it as per his advice. He installed a new set top box and said the activation will take 24 hours. However, 2 days went by with no trace of signal. Had to call Vijender back. Surprisingly, he said that the area did not come under him and he was just a substitute. He asked me to call Sushil. I'm just surprised at the quality of service your company gives. Do you ever monitor the work of your staffs? Do you have any idea if your staffs are efficient? For e.g I contacted Sushil at his number([protected]) number of times but he hasn't picked. On two occassions, he replied saying he is sorry and can't recieve my call. He promise to call back but never did. I think he is a big fan of Ghajini. I'm really angry as i have been taken for a ride. I believe your company vision and objective is to give quality service to customer. I doubt at this rate, your company isn't fulfilling it. The staffs are betraying the company right under your nose!!!!!
                  My problem is with Mr. Sushil. If your company isn't aware of my problem, i'm sorry to say but your company is inefficient as you will also not be aware of so many other complaints. For the simple reason that the monitoring is utterly bad.I would like to request the concern department to contact Sushil and take an explaination from him as to why the work has been pended for more than a month. If my problem is too big to be resolved, i want my money back. If my complaint isn't taken seriously, i will take the matter to the Consumer forum.

                    I am customer of sun direct.And here is my smart card no"R[protected]".I bought sun direct set up box in two years back,but till now i face lot of problem using sun direct.I loss 800 rupees with a set up box ,because i got lot of technical problems in the set up box.In rainy season channels are not coming like struckuping.Daily i get errors in the sun direct setup box.When we face small problems technician will take 150 or 200 rupees,but this is too much.Please take the action and reply also......

                    I am customer of sun direct.And here is my smart card no"R[protected]".I bought sun direct set up box in two years back, but till now i face lot of problem using sun direct.Now a days we did not get Malayalam Channels, like Surya, Sharon, Asianet, Asianet plus, Kiran, etc. Kindly allowed us 1 or 2 English channels and Hindi channels also. Plese remove the Carttoon channels in Telugu and Kannada from this.

                    We are call to your customer Service office for the last two months daily, but no response from there. They told us your complaint forwarded to technician. But nobody did not comes for setting the channels.

                      From 22/08/10 onwards, I can't view any chanels due to some problems by SUNDIRECT.
                      I call customer care and give the complaints, they ask me whats the problem? I reply "TV shows some error code and no signal. They told within 48 hours it will solve. After 48 hours I call again and ask why not solved, they reply thay your compliend solved,
                      they tell now your TV not showing "error code" only blank-that is is the solve for your complients....this is the solution from SUNDIRECT? - Again they assign another complient that TV shows blanks. Then I have to wait another 48 Hrs.
                      I guss they will change the colour of TV screen?????????
                      Unfortunatly my complaints is I cannot get any CHANNELS....They are not fixing too.
                      If SUNDIRECT is good, they must appolagise and provide additional validity on my account. my

                      I have Subscribed Sun Direct on 22/7/2009. It was ok till now all of sudden it displays "No Channel".
                      Please guide me how to solve it.

                      Sun Direct — No channel

                      from last 2 weeks, there is no service of channels from Sun Direct Dish TV and no response from customer care.

                      Sundirect — no channel found

                      my sundirect dish box is failure.sundirect servicer is box not repairing.
                      from yesterday no signals from my sundirect eventhough i recharged throuh, your authorised delear, delear name; kundhan electronics bangaluru..

                      I am fad up with sun direct dish TV BECOUSE of we are not showing any cannel on TV & we personally call to sun call center last 1 month regularly in 10 to 15 time but no on visited in my please, we pay every monthly charges but every time & every mount in my account cut the payment, pls I request you log my complaint we are not belong to rich family to pay every mount & lose the amt & satisfaction is totally 00000000 so pls loge the complaint about sun direct my

                        Dear Sir,
                        Sub: Return my money that you have cheated me by giving
                        wrong information and wrong doing.

                        With reference to the above subject, I would like to narrate story How you cheated me.

                        From past three months I had called numerous times to your customer care and Enquired about how to change plan, your CC (Customer Care) representative guide that I should call CC within seven days from date of plan starts then they(CCR) will be able to change the plan.

                        I want to change my plan after my free viewing months expired in the march itself, because for your CCR different mis-guidance / Information landed to lose Rs. 99.

                        My Kannada Basic Plan will be ending on[protected], I requested your Customer care person on[protected] to change my plan from Kannada Basic plan (Rs. 99/-) to Hindi shine Pack (Rs. 133/-) with Balance having Rs. 110/- in my account. But your representative told me that ' Sir, you should have Rs. 133/- to change your Basic plan to Hindi Shine Pack.

                        I saw that, my account is now having only Rs. 10/- in my account, and Kannada basic plan automatically started renewed from 22-8-210 to[protected]. I recharged my account with
                        Rs. 500/- , and then my account is showing Rs. 475.04/- balance in my account. Then I added 1 addon Zee Kannada of Rs. 7/- for 1 month, then my account is showing Rs. 468.04/-.

                        Then I called CCR its connected to Mr. Syed, I told him to change my Plan to Hindi Shine pack, he told me that pack basic price Rs. 119/-, but because I have called within 7 days of plan start date, the difference amount Rs. 19/- will be deducted from my account balance, then I reconfirmed the difference amount and I given consent to change the plan from Kannada basic to Hindi Shine pack for the amount Rs. 19/-. He should give the reference number for the change of plan but he didn't. Then I disconnected the call and login to my web selfcare account and checked my account balance Its showing. Rs. 338.34/- and its deducted Rs. 129.70/- instead of Rs. 19/-. Then I shocked and immediately I called CCR and information about this, and I explained all the story happed, then he told me on shocking news that the Hindi shine pack is Rs. 133/- not Rs. 119/- then CCR gives me Reference No. [protected], CCR told that Rs.100 will be added within 2 days.

                        After two days I Loged-in to my Web Selcare account and Checked the balance its still shows Rs. 338.34/- Then I again called CCR and then again I explained the all the story and again he gave me another Ref. No. [protected] again he give assurance that Rs. 99/- will be added to your account within 2 days.

                        I do not know how your give your CCRs' Training, they are mis-guiding still. If CCR was guides me in that , my account will charged Rs.119/- instead of Rs. 19/- , I would prefer to go for the Hindi Addon package for Rs. 30/- instead of loosing Rs. 99/- extra.

                        Please return my money that you have cheated me by giving wrong information and wrong doing.

                          Sun DTH abruptly stopped transmission. After repeated calls to their Delhi call centre, they gave a complaint number. The call centre people have no clue about the issues relating to the customer problems. They simply give elusive answers- " the server is not working. call after 15 minutes"; "Contact ur distributor for further assistance"; " our technicians will attend the problem in 24 hours" etc.

                          My suggestion to the public that they should not go for SUN Direct DTH.

                          Please be informed that I have sun direct connection from last year. We encjoy only two moths, after that signel - veryyyyy week. Several times we complaint to your lacal dealer. Still the bromlem not solved. Last two moths we lost money. I buy this connection from your dealer (Edacheri, Vatakara, Kozhikode, Kerala). Please advice this dealer to solve our problem. Otherwise we froced to change this connection. my contact details: Suresh Babu Tel. [protected].

                          This is Sampath, and I own a Sun Direct which is on my brothers name Raghunath, (Smart card:[protected]R) for the past few days i am not getting signals, it is showing E48 No signal for this I called to your customer care many times but, they are not responding properly when I called first time they told that it will be rectified with in 24 hours, then I waited for 24 hours I called them again on second day they gave me the request number:[protected]I don't know why they didn't give this request number on first day only) again they told the same old story asking me to wait another 24 hours, later I called after 24 hours then they have given me another ReqNo:[protected] saying that it has forwarded to technical team they will come to your home and solve the problem for that they told me 150/-rs will be charged for the same, on third day I called them to know the status, then they gave technical person mobile number :-[protected](they told that they don't know the name of the person), when I called many time he picked the call and said he will send on Wednesday[protected] but no one has came.

                          I called him again with my other number(because he is not lifting my phone by seeing my number) and he told me he will come to my home on 21st Oct.Let me see today wheater he comes today are not.I will wait for today, daily my 3 years daughter calls me and asks about the TV get repaired(She don't know the problem with Sun Direct). and last I have two options one is getting any other Dish connection and other is going to the Consumer court, I have all your customer care conversations recorded in my mobile.

                          My find outs are :-

                          Product how much good may be but, it should reach the customer with good service, I think you know product goes into the market with "Word of Mouth" not with funny advertisements(Tan tana tan)

                          There is a lack of trained customer care executives and Technical assistants in your team, they don't know what they are talking.

                            i recharged my account before 1 month i didnt get any connection if i call customer care they are singing the same story your problem will be solved within 4 hours what
                            [censored] they are doing they dont know really cheating public earning money is main goal
                            b***dy chaters.
                            I agree with above complaint, my smart card no is [protected] I also have the same complaints my family fed off with Sun Direct it is not working from 8pm to till morning from last 2 months. Our favourite channel is "colors" which shows no signals or poor signal after 8pm, customer care is also not available from evening onwords today after discussing with customer care with almost 2 hours they recd my complaint & gave me the complaint no of[protected] & promised that technician will visit our house within 48 hrs & he will solve the problem lets wait & watch what "fraud Sun Direct" full fill its promise?. I don't have faith
                            My set top box stopped working since 1 week n I complained about it to the Sun Direct customer care...but they dint even ready to solve the problem on neither their executives nor their service man. The always say only one thing that your problem will solve in 10 hours...but God knows that when will their 10 hours being completed...abhi tak to huye nahi hain 1wk ho gya hai...

                            I am not satisfy with their service regarding complaints...

Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.

                                There has been no postive response to the complaint that i had made to Sun direct.... I had made a complaint for non working of my DTH Connection no [protected] for the last 7 days and have done atleast 15- 20 call's to the customer service and have got lot of complaint registration numbers with a standard closure TAT of 24 hrs , and have got none of my compliants answered......Do sun have a escalation matrix ..do they have any control on the Dealers that they have...if you Could get any thing done at your end would be great.

                                Yes. Sun direct has not control over dealers. They are looting the public and providing very poor service. Worst DTH. They are deleting the channels as their wish.
                                SUN DIRECT is the worst service in India...Better shut down their operations. How come they are paying to their employees. Senseless fellows and worthless service.

                                  Hi, I have bought a new connection (smart card no: [protected]) two months back. In this two months I am able to see only ten days all the channesls.

                                  For last two weeks I am not able to see any channel. I have registered the last complaint on 11th August'10 (complaint number[protected] . According to SUN DTH service assurance, with in 24 hours it will should be resolved.

                                  Till now no one turned back. In this period, i have followed the same for six to seven times for the progress. No positive things turned yet.

                                  On 22nd August'10, I received a message that the issue is resolved although that is not true. Till now I am not abale to see any channel (i.e. Blank Screen)

                                  I gave them a call today (24th August, 2010), first they gave a in valid contact number of distributor to discuss the issue. On second time, another quey helper informed that it was not raining at Lajpat Nagar, thats why the issue was closed from SUN DTH side.

                                  I spoken with their senior member Imran and Nashad, their reply was "We cant help you"

                                  Now tell me from where I will get the help!?

                                  I never seen a reponse like this from any customer service ...Last 2 month i am trying to resolve my Sundirect tower issue ...becaoz they have changed their badwidth ... I am fed up with calling them daily for last 2 months and unque dialogue from them within 24 hrs you will get the call from technical department . Stupid service...No call came till now ...Can some body give me the CEO or CHairmain email id of the sundirect, so that i can email or call them to talk about their worst service in their business . That is the last option for me now ...

                                    I bought sun direct last month.. it was not working for 1 week soon after I bought it. customer care told me it s satalite problem and that solved after 1 week. now again I am not getting the services. I called the customer care and they are telling to call distributor, distributor tells to call customer care. I am feeling horrible for thier service and I advise if anyone plans to buy sundirect.. do not waste your money. I do not know what to do now. please advise
