[Resolved] Tata Docomo — MNP CONVERSION FROM AIRTEL TO TATA DOCOMO | |||
Sir, This is Karthikanand.C from Erode. Tamilnadu. I have given a MNP request for conversion of Airtel Number([protected]) to Docomo on 27.01.2011.While asking both customer care(TATA DOCOMO and AIRTEL) both are giving that the late is due to the other operator.I didn't recharge my account till 27th of january due to the portablity will cause balance nill to zero.So please make confirmation about the date of my number conversion. hi Rajkumar. Airtel has to send their your documents regarding this.Go directly to the airtel office and ask them to release your number if your port request is processed. Else(As your port request has to be done before 15 days of the port request )you have to send port request again and provide your documents to any other operator except docomo(if you have to convert to docomo wait for 90 days).Before applying confirm with your nearest airtel office that this time they will allow your number.
As per the discussion with Airtel CC, they allowed me to take MNP on first instant ie on 17.06.2011. There is nothing pending with airtel as per discussion. When I call DOCOMO Cc they told that documents not received from there end which I submitted in Koramangala office. When went to submit fresh documents they are not taking new as already they sent my prev documents to concerned dept.
Like you only airtel has fooled me for many days. Confirm me
1-weather your number has been in live condition or not.
2-weather you recieved any confirmation about conversion of number from docomo.
3-Did you get any call from airtel about conversion suggestions.
Since docomo is the recipient operator they will not make any delay.Airtel is fooling you like me. Put pressure on them.(Better register for another MNP request with other operator other than docomo).Note that you are only allowed to convert form an operator with in 2 port request.

As it was already registered(you got message) with docomo there is no problem with them.Then the problem is only with airtel.You have to move in some way to get your airtel number to be disconnected.if it get disconnected then docomo will activate your number.Go directly to airtel office and blame them and scold them.Put pressure on them.Send email to TRAI about the rubbish done by airtel.Every airtel executive believe that there is no body brilliant than tham.

I am Rajkumar from Bangalore, Karnataka. I have given MNP request for my Airtel no.[protected] to Docomo on 14.06.2011 in Koramangala DOCOMO office. Collected 19rs towards MNP and told that within 7 working days it will happen. Still now it is not happened (05.07.2011). I went to DOCOMO office 3 times to enquire about same but they told I have to wait. 3X26=78Rs I wasted towards bus charge. Still no response. If I call customer care they told documents not received, but Docomo office registery shows that documents already sent to concerned dept. I asked I will submit once again but they told already a request is pending we cannot take new request for same number. I called Airtel too to confirm any problem with operator they told they given clearance to MNP to Docomo.
my questions..
1. Who is responssible to delay in MNP.
2. How long a customer to wait for MNP.
kind request to DOCOMO, i[censored] are not willing to take new customer stop advertising... otherwise give response at right time...
