I am using tata docomo for the last 19months:)i activated the monthly internet pack on 10/02/2011
:-)but the tata docomo charged 99rs for browsing on 11th feb 2011, 24rs on 21st feb and 17rs on 24th feb:)when i complained about the 99rs they recieved my complaint (gbl[protected] that's all they did't refund my balance in above 3cases:)that's y am requesting u people don't use tata docomo:)it's the worst of all service provider:)
I have Two prepaid sim of Tata Docomo No. [protected] or [protected]. I am senior citizen so I have only received phone and if necessary, I call to relative. However, I check my mobile phone balance and contact Tata docomo service centre. Where told me Deduction 3 Rs. Per day by company. So it deduction are wrongly deduct. I was no applying any service. So deduction amount are deposit my account. And in future I want no any service from Tata Docomo. So in future no deduction from my account of mobile No. [protected] or [protected].

    Hi,

    I had submited my application for porting(port no:TX884297 on 15/02/11 from docomo to airtel.Its still not done and its past 7 days.I asked airtel and they told they didnt receive some email from docomo and hence its stuck in processing. i had called your customer care but to no use.Please look into the matter and fix my problem.

      DEAR,
      As i was transferred to indore on 18-06-10 i checked different plans and postpaid providers, i found docomo 799 diet plan suitable for me. so i opted for it . i completed formalities, tok no [protected] and waited for it to start as their commitment in 24 hours, but it was not. lastly after a 10 days i was told to deposit 1000/- security deposit to get started. unfortunately it started with network problems. after lot of trouble caused they offered a discount of 200/- rs for 3 months. and i changed my handset to (sony ericson w 700 i ) but did not provide in sept bill. then i fought for the same again and they gave the discount.
      Then in nov i was offered 200/- for 3 months. and was given in dec and not in jan. so i again loggeded a complaint and then portability got started and i reouested them for it and mr. gurman singh called me and requested me to hold me for 3 months and offered e that he would get 200/- rs discounted and 50% tarriff discount in next 3 bills. i recieved bill on 18th feba and was shocked to see the bill and called Mr.Gurman Singh but he stopped answering the no is [protected].
      so i wrote to comstomer care and called the customer care they told me to wait till 24 feb. today the customer care people call me and tell there are no issues to be solved and the complaint is successfully closed.
      At this moment i need your help to solve my network issues and the discount offered and the loss of bussiness happened due to their poor network and dropping of calls.

      As i am a sales professional and i have to be on line always for that i have not switched my old idea [protected] no. and i am a customer from last 7 years. this is my first instence at indore that i am sruggling for my connectivity. and i need here to provide justice to me.

        Dear Sir,

        I am owner of Tata DoCoMo Maharashtra circle, mobile no [protected]. I got the Bill amount of Rs. 747 for month of Jan 2011 of which Rs. 395 was for non payment of bill of Dec 2010. This bill was paid by me on 24th Jan 2011 by cash (Rs. 400) at Tata DoCoMo center "Mobile Communication, DSS-155, Urban Estate, Opposite DPS School, Sec - 13, Karnal, Haryana -132001', Receipt no 1120 . It was specifically told to them that number is from another circle. Money was paid in cash.
        Upon speaking the same with customer care they said that they cannot either register my complaint nor can they correct this month's bill and I should have paid the money in Maharashtra circle. But I was not in Maharashtra during the month this bill was generated. Request you to please suggest what can I do to sort this at quickest?

        Sir,

        At the time of residential enquiry for getting tata docomo sim card, I informed them that I want only prepaid sim card and not postpaid sim card. They immediately disconnected the outgoing making calls. This happened four months back.
        But I do not know why they are going on sending the wrong bill to me. Since I am ont using the sim card for both incoming and outgoing I refused the bill stating that I already informed them.
        This may kindly be clarified with your bill section and the bill may be stopped for not using sim card. The sim card no is [protected].
        Once again I am telling you that I need only prepaid connection and not postpaid connection.

          I had taken a new Tata Photon Prepaid Connection from Tata Indicom Outlet (GHATKOPAR WEST), opp. ghatkopar west Railway Station and submitted all the documents to the executives in the Tata Photon Office, on 13 - Feb -2011.

          My Tata Phton Number is [protected]. And had purchased the Tata Photon Device worth Rs 1700/-. Apart from this they had taken Rs 1000/- for the Recharge.

          I submitted all the documents to the executive named Wasim.

          But after 10 days my connection stopped working. After that Customer Care has given me a very poor response. I called their Toll Free Number but no response. Their Product Selling Dept is picking the calls but not the Customer Query Dept. Then I called their Zonal Office and some how come to know that they have barred my services without informing me and gave me the reason that we have not received your documents. Since I purchased this device for my Official Work so I am in big trouble because their Poor services. They asked me to submit the documents again at the same Outlet. My Question is that why I have to submit the documents again? Secondaly, I have submitted all my documents but instead of this fact they have barred my services. This is not my fault at all. Why because of their fault I have to suffer?

          Moreover, their customer care is too worse. They are not picking up the calls. I tried to call in GhatKopar Office, Then after lot of attempts a girl picked my call there, Then i addressed my problem to her but again no response. She dissconnected my call. My only request is that I have paid my money, purchased a device, submitted my documents but still why my services are barred? Why customer care want me to submit the documents again?

          A strict action need to be taken against these trouble causing events. Atleast before barred my services , they have to once inform me. Because of these people i have to face lot of time loss, money loss and business loss.

          Please take some strict action again them

            My Number is [protected]. I gave application at Vodafone to port my number from DOCOMO. But it got rejected saying "Hello! Your Porting Request *** dated 08Feb11 has been rejected by your current Operator due to The Porting Code does not match the Donor allocated Porting Code for this number. Pls contact your current Operator for further details"!

            So I thought something went wrong with the application, and I gave another application at BSNL day before yesterday, and the reply SMS from BSNL "(G)Your Port in request for Mobile Number [protected] has been rejected by your service provider due to UPC mismatch - BSNL".

            Today I talked to DOCOMO Care, and they saying I need to contact either Vodafone or BSNL to get this resolved!!!

              Dear sir,

              I, Jhawahar R was a customer of Tata teleservices Ltd, I was using tata photon device in 2010 and i have canceled my subscription after visiting a customer care office in Saibaba colony(Coimbatore) and also through email complaint. I directly visited to local customer care office twice on 13/08/2010 and 30/08/2010. I was receiving bills even after the cancellation period of my Tata Photon subscription. I made another complaint on that also.

              But now i have received a letter stating that i have to be present in LOK ADALAT(coimbatore court) on 22/02/2011 regarding the pending payment of Rs.1865/-. I have received this letter today by 14:00 IST (22/02/2011). Which is causing me lot of mental stress and frustration. Because this is happening third time for me,

              1st : I received a bill after cancellation period, And it was solved.
              2nd: A person made a personal visit for collection to my home. I have explained him and then it was solved.
              3rd: Now i received a Legal complaint

              I dont want to waste my time on dealing this issue when there is no fault on my side. I have cleared all the bills and i have proof for my Tata photon service cancellation. I want you to take this complaint as soon as possible and solve this problem. Please make sure that i don't receive these kind of complaint anymore and also to cancel the complaint i received today(LOK ADALAT Case No: 047). The complaint letter i received is kind of character assassination and degrading my society image.


              Still i am a customer of various tata products, hope you don't broke my trust on you.

                Hello

                I have had recharged with 95rs plan(6gb) on number [protected] for internet usage on 19th feb 2011...and then recharged with 9rs online after talking to customer care...but due to which my 6 gb data got lost on that day.and now its 0mb data showing...this is all I had done after talking to cust care guys.
                on 20th early morning at 2 am, I called cust care 121 and talked to Rohit...he agreed to my problem and asked trans id for 95rs reversal.I gave him trans id but while talking... call got disconnected. There is no way to call him again...
                But I called again and this time Vijay Picked it up and had to again tell him everything from beginning...again disconnected
                so I fade up now and writing complaint to revers my 6gb balance otherwise I will close this connection...
                Customer care agrees that its not my mistake I have been given wrong info...SO I need 6gb balance reversal at any cost

                Tata Docomo — Recharge didn't happen

                Hi,

                I had made an online recharge of 150/- to my tata docomo no. through ICICI net banking facility on 5th of Aug 2010. But till now neither my phone account has got recharged nor my bank account got the money back.
                I have repeatedly approached tata docomo folks through calls, online complaints and emails ([protected]@tatadocomo.com) but nobody came for my help till now, They simply take request and never come back at all. I am being kinda frustrated now.

                Its almost a month now and my issue is still pending I have sent atleast 5-6 mails to [protected]@tatadocomo.com but i always receive the mail telling that "We would like to inform you that your complaint bearing docket number PRRG09099400 is under process. Concerned department is working on it and will get in touch with you shortly."
                I have received this kind of mails from following people "Ainul Haque, Geo, Sanjeev Kumar, Manoj Jacob & Vaibhav".
                Kindly help!!! I had also sent them the screenshot of my bank statement.

                Tatadocomo — Online recharge of 150/- didn't happen

                I had raised a complaint 1 month ago regarding this issue but no resolution till now :(

                Tata Docomo — Recharge didnt happend

                MY Tata docomo nos is >[protected] yest day i have made a recharge of 350 Rs transaction id [protected]. BUT Till now today i haven't received the balnce in my account . And for this whenever i call the customer care they re responding by saying call after 4 hour as their is some technical problem. i don understand when this 4 hours will get over. I kindly request kindly reimburse my money or else i have to change my service provider .

                  I visited Tata Telecom billing centre at Swaroop Nagar Chauraha, Kanpur to recharge my Tata Docomo No. [protected] by Rs. 196 for 800 Minutes and I paid him Rs 200/-. He returned me Rs.4/=. When I checked balance It was recharged with value of Rs. 177/=. When I asked "Why did you not recharge for 800 Minutes." Despite of accepting his mistake he misbehaved with me.
                  My complaint regarding his misbehaviour and It is a matter of grave concern. So please punish such people. This type of people are defaming TATAs fame.
                  when i m talking to check to why my balance is reduced then the costmer says u have use to internet devin til 8pm &6pm...but my balance reduced to 1 or 2 pm the date 23july...after my complaining ragister then every thing is ok i hvae a internet pack of Rs65..and my balace 2nd time to reduce..then i am calling costmer sirvice 121 & when i mtalking about why my balace again reduced then he says for usisng internet brousing, , charg .ok..maine kaha ki maine internet pack kara raha h to phir kyoun kat rahe h balance...to mujhse battmizi se balne laga ki aap ke paas koi paralikha admi ho to usko phone dijiye...what was he saying that, , , , , , , , It is a matter of grave concern. So please punish such people...othewise i m going to cosumer forum..& i have decide to portability my no...[protected]...

                    1) I receive a sales call from Tata Docomo offering me a mobile number portability from my existing service (IDEA) to Docomo, with some offers for customers of Tata Photon+. I happily agree. Having been a Tata Indicom broadband and Tata Photon+ customer, I blindly trust Tata Docomo

                    2) My documents were collected, and I was told that it would take 4 days for MNP, and that during MNP, my mobile phone will be turned off for 2 hours, that too during night so that I would have to bear minimum trouble. I trust the service provider and forget about it.

                    About 7 days later, I get a call from a person, stating that he needs to do my address verification. I told him the suitable timings, but was out of home for about 10 min. None came for verification. The next day, the Docomo guy calls and states that he had come to my home yesterday. I assume that he must have come while I was out for 10 min, and ask him to come that day evening. He says he will be there in about 5 min. Later he calls me and says 'I am ringing your doorbell, but you are not opening the door'. There was none at my door. He:'Aren't you <some name1>?'. Me: Of course not. He: Isnt this your address - <address1>. Me: How can you have every detail wrong? Do you have my details at all?
                    He: Okay wait. Are you <some name2>?. Me: What the..????
                    He: What's your name, ma'm?
                    Me: You must be having my details, if you are from Docomo!!
                    He: Sorry ma'm. I will get back to you.

                    I wait.

                    20 days fast foward.

                    MNP still not done.

                    3) I call up customer care.

                    CC: Ma'm as per our systems, your MNP has already been done 16 days back.
                    Me: Then why can I not see it? I got not message, and my Docomo sim doesn't work.
                    CC: As the MNP is complete, it must work
                    Me: But it is not working
                    CC: I will make a note of it. Someone will get back to you in 24 hours.
                    Me: Okay. Thanks.

                    Later, I call up customer care to get a status.
                    CC: Ma'm your request for MNP is still pending.
                    Me: You mean, the MNP is not done yet? Earlier your exectutive told me that the MNP is complete. Why am I getting different status from different people?
                    CC: No ma'm. There was some problem. And your request is pending.
                    Me: What is pending? Pending with whom?
                    CC: we cannot tell you that ma'm. You would need to go nearest customer care center.
                    Me: <Thinking> What????
                    Me: Why would I go to your office. I thought this was an offer from you, and I neither have time to go, nor do we have your office nearby. Why would I go all the way to Shivajinagar just to get a status? Moreover, how can they help me, if you can't?
                    CC: In that case, I cannot help you, ma'm.
                    Me: Who can help me, if you can't?
                    CC: You need to visit our office ma'm..
                    Me: (It was surprising to hear this from a customer care center) Is there a way to raise a complaint on this?
                    CC: Yes ma'm you can write to listen.[protected]@tatadocomo.com
                    Me: Sure, thanks.

                    I decide to write down a complaint to this email id. I detail my case, the details mismatch that occured earlier, my encounters with customer care who had different answers, and ask them for a concrete status on the request.

                    4) Within a day, I not only get a response to this mail, but get calls from 4 different customer care guys.

                    Response to mail: We would like to inform you that your MNP has been successfully complete 16 days ago.
                    Customer care guy 1: Ma'm our systems show that there was a problem in your IDEA sim. So IDEA rejected the MNP. And that is why this did not happen.
                    Customer care guy 2: Your MNP was completed 16 days ago
                    Customer care guy 3: Ma'm the guy who collected your documents misplaced them. So we need them again, we will send an executive to your home.

                    Customer care guy 4: Ma'm your MNP will happen tonight. It was pending earlier, but will be completed today.
                    Me: I would like to cancel the MNP request, please
                    Customer care guy 4: No ma'm. Since the request has already proceeded, we cannot cancel it. But it will definitely happen tonight. You will get an SMS. You can change the SIM after 2 hours.
                    Me: Are you sure? I have been getting different statuses, and each customer care person has been telling different things.
                    Customer care guy 4: I'm 100% sure, ma'm.

                    5) I do get an SMS stating that my MNP will be done on <date><time>. I get an automated call stating that my MNP is starting.
                    I was glad that finally processes are in place, and things have started working. Little did I know that that was the end of my mobile number I have been using for 3 years.

                    6) The next day first thing in the morning, I see that the network in my IDEA is gone, and IDEA sim is no more functional, clearly indicating that MNP is complete. I eagerly insert the Docomo SIM. Quite unexpected, there was no network, and the SIM was not functioning either. I call up the customer care from a different mobile, and explain them all that happened.
                    CC: The MNP was complete yesterday. So it must work.
                    Me: It doesn't work.
                    CC: Switch off and switch on the mobile and manually search for network. It must work (confidently). Also, try inserting in another handset.
                    Me: Okay I will try.

                    Nothing works. I kept restarting my mobile and searching network, nothing got any better.

                    I call up customer care again.
                    CC: Your MNP is complete, but your status is pending.
                    Me: What does that mean?
                    CC: I don't have more information than that, ma'm. You will have to visit our office.
                    Me: Sorry, I cannot visit your office. First of all, the office is very far away. Second, I don't understand the need to go to your office to get a status on a service that is entirely automatic.
                    CC: We don't have more information, ma'm.

                    Bugged, I write a mail to listen.[protected]@tatadocomo.com.

                    And that was just the beginning of the sad demise of my 3-year old buddy, my mobile number.

                    People kept saying that they are unable to reach me. I had to explain everyone.


                    7) Since then, for 6 days, there was just one reccuring sequence each day:
                    - I call up customer care atleast twice a day. They assure me with full confidence that the issue has been escalated and that someone will definitely get back to me within 24 hours
                    - I send atleast one mail per day to listen.[protected]@tatadocomo.com
                    - I insert the docomo sim card to see if it works, but to no avail.

                    I got to see closely how pathetic Docomo service is. Not a single person got back to me in the 7 days. And my mobile number was totally off for 7 full days. Almost all the calls I had with customer care were equally frustrating, and here is just one sample.

                    Yesterday as usual I was registering a complaint for this issue with Docomo.
                    CC: <Usual reply>I am going to escalate this, and within 24 hours someone will get back to you.
                    Me: I have been getting the same reply each time I call the customer care.
                    CC: No Ma'm I will definitely escalate this to my manager now, and someone will get back to you in 24 hours.
                    Me: Each CC person says this, but none has got back to me in the 3 days, and my mobile is still inactive. Can I talk to a senior member?
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. I am escalating this now, and someone will get back to you in 24 hours.
                    Me: Can I talk to a senior member, please?
                    CC: (Again) Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. I am escalating this now, and someone will get back to you in 24 hours.
                    Me: Can I talk to a senior member?
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm.
                    Me: Can I?
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. We don't have that facility.
                    Me: What do I do if no one reverts back to me in 24 hours?
                    CC: You can call us at 121 and check with us
                    Me: I have been doing that atleast 5 times a day, and each time I get the same reply that the issue has been escalated, but nothing happens in 24 hours, and none gets back to me. Is there a way to track this complaint? A complaint no. or a ticket no.?
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. We don't have that facility. But you can call us on 121
                    Me: But how do I track the current escalation or complaint?
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. We don't have that facility.
                    Me: So, I call 121 again, someone else picks up the call, I narrate the entire story, he/she registers an escalation and gives me assurances. I have been going through several times in 3 days. Can you give me a single point of contact or a tracking number
                    CC: Kshama chahti hoon ma'm. We don't have that facility.
                    Me: Ok. You assure me that the problem will be taken care in 24 hours. What should I do if it is nothing happens in 24 hours and none reverts back to me?
                    CC: You can ask for me. My name is Mohini.
                    Me: Are you sure that I can ask for you just by your name?
                    CC: Yes ma'm
                    Me: (helpless) Thanks.


                    Today: (After 24 hours of no action)
                    CC: Hi this is (some name). How many I help you?
                    Me: I had raised a complaint yesterday with a person named Mohini. I need to talk to her.
                    CC: Sorry ma'm. We don't have the facility to transfer calls to other sales executives.
                    Me: But the person had told me to refer to her by telling her name
                    CC: Sorry ma'm. We don't have that facility
                    Me: How do I track yesterday's complaint?

                    I have received an SMS and a call yesterday (12-Feb-2011) stating that my mobile number portability has begun. Later in the night I received a message that the MNP has been completed.

                    However, since today morning, both my SIM cards (IDEA and the new DOCOMO) are not working. Both detect no network and are totally out of operation throughout.

                    I had called up the customer service (121) this morning, and the person asked me to restart my mobile and manually search for the network. I have tried this several times during the day, but the SIM is still not working.

                    I just called up the customer service center again, and he told that the status of my MNP request is pending, he cannot provide more information, and that I must visit nearest office to get more information. All day, I have been facing the inconvenience of not being able to use my mobile phone, and now the customer service center guys are unable to provide me a concrete status, or even an ETA.

                    The entire MNP process has been a tiresome experience for me, and has been seriously making me rethink on my choice to continue with Docomo.

                    I hope someone could help me to get my mobile working.

                    My new Docomo sim isn't working yet, effectively making my mobile number unreachable and unusable for 1.5 days and more.

                    I hope you can realize the seriousness of this issue. I am still hopeful that someone will be able to help me.

                    Hi,

                    My new SIM is still not working, i.e. for 2.5 days now.

                    Each time I call up the customer service, they assure me that the matter has been escalated, and within 24 hours, it will be fixed. However, I cannot see any progress being made.

                    Sorry to mention, but this is the worst customer service I have ever faced in my life.

                    Hi,

                    My mobile number is not active yet.

                    I have raised the issue several times by calling at 121, and each time they say that the issue has been escalated and someone would revert back to me.

                    Not a single person has reverted back to me in the last 4 days, despite raising complaints over and over and over again.

                    I am unable to use my mobile number for 4 days. And looking at the Docomo service, I have a feeling that I would not be able to use it for many more days to come, and Docomo is forcing me to change my mobile number that I have been using for 3 years.


                    17 Feb:

                    As I am getting absolutely no response from Docomo, and since the Docomo MNP service has led my mobile number to be unreachable for 5 days (and counting..),

                    I would like to inform you that in case my mobile number doesn't get activated in the coming 2 days, I will be applying for a MNP back from Docomo to IDEA.

                    Further, I assure you not to give you the trouble of bothering you by buying your products or services ever in my life, and I assure the same from my family and friends too.

                    8) On Saturday (though I was busy), I prepared the documents and went to IDEA office to apply for a MNP back from Docomo to IDEA. The only reason I wanted to apply for MNP instead of buying a new sim is that I did not want to change my number.

                    But here is an important bit of information (apart from the fact that my Docomo sim is still not working and Docomo is still unresponsive as expected):
                    One cannot apply for a second MNP within 3 months of applying one MNP. I.e., since I have applied for an MNP from IDEA to Docomo (which Docomo understood as MND (Mobile Number Disablement)), even if I am totally unhappy with Docomo, and am unable to use my number, I still cannot change the service back to IDEA or Airtel or another service for 3 months. So for 3 months I'm stuck, and of course since Docomo has almost permanenly disabled my number, I am forced to change my number that I have been using for 3 full years, thanks to Docomo. So be cautious when you apply for MNP, get enough reviews and inputs before you go ahead with an MNP, and if you ever plan for Docomo, be ready to go through a long time of frustration, stone age customer service, and unplanned events such as disconnect from the rest of the world.

                    Hell with everything.

                    9) I bought a new Airtel sim, and I am happy with the service, offers, and most importantly, it totally works (of course that's so relieving to me). Of course I am taking the pain o[censored]pdating my family, banks, collegues, etc. with my new number. But that's nothing compared to how painful Docomo is.


                    I strongly recommend all the readers to avoid going for Docomo any day. You'll likely be in a fix.

                    The experience with Docomo has left me flabbergasted. The entire Docomo thing is a big fat joke.

                    I bought a new tata docomo sim of Rs 15 on 14 march whose no. is [protected] .In that i got balance Rs 40.01 & 2 GB browsing free. On 15 march after surfing i received a message that my account balance is Rs 1.01.My Rs 39 was deducted.Then I contacted the custromer care and they told me that due to a games pack my account balance was deducted in spite of that i had not subscribed it .
                    Then two days later i recharged it of Rs 30, in that i got Rs 24 talktime. After surfing internet for two days, I checked my balance on 21 march at 7:20 pm, it was correct i.e; Rs 24. But the next day on 22 march at 1:27pm my was Rs 1. Again, then I contacted the custromer care and they told me that due to a games pack my account balance was deducted in spite of that i had not subscribed it . So, after a lot of talk on the same day after five minutes, customer care was convinced that my account balance was incorrectly deducted. Overall, my Rs 63 have been deducted .Through customer care my Rs 30 have been given back but to get my rest Rs 33 I had complained here.
                    Docomo is the worst service provider.
                    They are not able to handle MNP issues and after 1 customer call per day, the rest of the calls are disconnected automatically. They are even disconnectiing my friends docomo number through which I am transferring my Reliance number to Docomo.

                    Both Docomo and Reliance is the worst service provider in the world.
                    I give 5 star to both of them in worst service providers.

                    Tata Docomo — not get balance through mobile banking after mnp

                    sir,i changed service provider in feb 11,when i do recharge my no through net banking/mob banking,my account has been debited but those amount is credited in previous service provider. I have chat to both provider but till there is no response by them my no is [protected] i presently provider is tata docomn and previous is vodafone.
                    Docomo is worst service provider. There service are very poor and useless. Guys want to tell you, as my experience, neither trust on their mails nor on verbals communication. Since these guys dont stay on commitment. I have been chasing to them for last 2 months for mobile no portability. Docomo useles guys will never ever be on commitment.

                      I Purchased TATA Photon+ some 4 months ago. They sold with lot of fanfare and commitment that It will be providing speed of 3.1 MB/ps. But in reality, it is providing a speed of 0.5MB/ps. On being contacted their Custoimer Care service, I got a reply that maximum speed which I can get is 0.6MB/Ps. This appears to be cheating and breach of trust from a company called TATA Photon. If they clearly spell out at the time of selling their product, I would not have purchased it.

                      I would like to inform all concerned that TATA has entered into cheating game or probably the name called TATA is being maligned. No more the word called TRUST is attached with TATA.

                      I too agree the above comments. I am also facing the same issue, Even I had taken a tata photon post paid unlimited plan and my speed is 2kb to 10 kb/sec. My net is damn slow and I called the customer care many times. last time when I called they where telling the speed is slow because of some issue and will get resolved after 45 days and all the customer is facing this issue.I dont understand how come a leading brand like tata photon had such a bad service.

                        Hi,
                        I took one TATA photon plus postpaid unlimited connection few months back, as the internet speed was very bad I decided to cancel the same. I called up Photon customer care on 19Jan to register a cancellation request, initially some guy took the phone disconnected the call telling me that he placing me on hold. On that same day I had to make 6 calls to the customer care to register the request. My call was transfered to so called cancellation desk and the request was registered. The representative told me my connection will be deactivated in 3 days, and I will not be billed for this period. I asked him why can't they disconnect the service immediately, for that he said there is some process or some thing and it takes max 3 days for your connection to be deactivated and you will not be billed for the same.

                        As my connection was still active after 3 days, I had to call up the customer care to inquire about the same, this time some guy took the phone and told me it may take some 5 days in some cases and you don't have to worry as you will not be charged for the same.

                        Still after 5 days also my connection was active and I called up again to hear all these rediculous excuses, they kept telling me that it will happen soon and you will not be billed for this period.

                        Finally when i got the bill for next month I found that they have charged me for the enitre month. Then I called up customer care and only thing I could do was raising a complaint. Asusual this time also nothing happened. I called up customer care again for the last time, some guy called Ram picked up the call, I asked him for the escalation path, he told me there is no way to escalate this issue. Only thing he can do is raising an other complaint, for which he gave me a docket number. Again he assured me that it will be resolved, which I heard many times from these people.

                        I made a total of 29 calls to customer care for cancellation of the service and it has not happened till now, only thing is I lost much money in calling these peeple. I find TATA photon customer care service executives not fit for the job. They only have one thing to say "I will raise a complaint regarding this, sir", they always come up this insane excuses.

                        I don't understand the difficulty in cancelling a connection properly.

                          tata docomo is looting ---

                          i buyed a new sim and activated GPRS pack on it . there was Rs 50 talktime on it initially . after the first time of my internet use it said Rs12 deducted from your account WTF ???? i called customer care they says OUR SYSTEM ON UPGRADATION (it takes eons to connect with CC in TATA).after few time when i called they said SIR U HAVE DIVE-IN SETTING WHICH IS CHARGEABLE . wtf ???? every other operator provide inportal browsing free (rworld,airtellive etc) and that also after that i activated GPRS pack ????
                          even now when i have 10 mb left in my account and validity for GPRS pack it said "you have been charged Rs2for your last browsing "

                          TATA does tons of spam calls (that also after i activated DND) and they are very clever to always do spam call from different number so that u cant identify if it spam call. i mean you switch on your new mobile and bang there is a spam call

                          call forwarding doesnt work in TATA docomo ("i tried to divert call to my bsnl but it doesnt work )

                          and there customer care it is the biggest of all (even BSNL CC is better then them )
                          first you wont connect to CC easily and force hear there advertisement (it for AD that they put so much waiting line )
                          then there CC come up with lame excuses like

                          "Sir , our system is busy call after some time "(there system is always free make spam cal)
                          "Sir your details are not present with us we cent help you "(CC cant help ?? WTF?)
                          "Sir our system is upgrading at the moment " (@ssholes!)

                          i buyed tata for it's brand name and 3G but now it seems that i buyed a headache .i was better with BSNL at least they were true and fair in charging

                          1- Every one make spam call. I have same exp with Airtel ( so called professional )

                          2- I am sure you didn't try other player ( like airtel, Vodaphone etc). They will not give you any option to connect to customer care directly. At lest they are giving you this option and that also *free of cost*

                          3- I never faced issue like "system failure" "system upgradeable" etc etc

                          4- Airtel deduced 30 Rs two time (while GPRS and airtel live was disabled). Despite my many effort they did refund money.
                          I had the same problem. I just cannot divert my incoming voice calls to A bsnl number.
                          And CC doesnt have a clue about why this is.

                          First call- Rep says "you cannot divert the call to BSNL" . I ask why is it so. Rep says it is a bsnl problem(WTF, I can call that number but cant divert????...) I asked her to escalate, but the hung up on me.

                          Second call- same result but just that this guy escalated to a supervisor who was again unable to answer me. it was escalated once more to a manager who just gave me a generic email address"[protected]@tatadocomo.com". I figured that there is no use speaking to these guys.

                          Till date i have not got the answer why i cant divert my calls to bsnl number.

                          I agree with Anupam BSNL CC is way better that docomo CC.
                          I just spoke to a person named Gulzar (emp ID: 108205) in the Inbound Process of the tata docomo customer service.
                          he mentioned that Call Diverting/Forwarding in Tata Docomo is applicable to all numbers other than Reliance, MTNL, BSNL and any STD number. I tried to do various things but their process is well aligned with what he said. It is altogether different matter that this condition is not explicitly specified anywhere on the website and Terms and Conditions of my Post Paid Agreement.
                          BTW I am very happy with Tata Docomo though. looks like better than Vodafone in Bangalore and Lucknow cities of Karnataka and UP circles.
                          Call forwarding not working in tatadocomo i used the code *21*mobilenumber# and settings call forwarding its showing unexpexted response from network number is [protected]
                          dont buy tata documo sim. I am using last 8 years this network. but i am using now a days this as secondary sim. But its not eligible for that too. Its really suit. I forwarded my documo no calls to my another sim. i have more than 100 Rs as balance in documo. Now i am just checking the balance . It seems 0. WTF... Other networks providing free forward options. But documo takes charges for us. Its really headache. Documo cheater...

                          dont go with tata documo sim. Its really waste..

                            so, want to fight with company for charging extra amount by cheating public and collection money from customer for not using the internet.

                            I need the compensation Rs.5000/- for the following valid reasons:

                            COMPLAINT ON TATA PHOTON USB MODEM

                            1. Please refer to our telephone conversation between self and your customer care office. This is bring in to your notice that I have a USB modem based broad band wireless connection under your brand band TATA Photon on number [protected] with 5Gb unlimited plan. I am using this connection since Dec 2010. I am facing the following problems:-
                            (a) Connectivity is very poor.
                            (b) The downloading speed is just 4Kbps to 44Kbps max.
                            (c) Poor quality customer care service.
                            2. I have tried to contact your customer execution number of times on number - [protected] but instead of positive or fair response or fair response, I have received negative response showing no interest in my complaint.

                            3. I have always faith in any services provided by your brand name TATA, but it seems that your company is not able to come to any customer’s satisfaction.
                            4. May I request to solve the problem as this type of negative approach will bring bad reputation to TATA

                                I am Pradipkumar Rane.I am TATA-Docomo customer.My mobile number is [protected].
                                I wanted to convert this mobile number in Airtel.

                                So I sent SMS to 1900 to get a porting code on[protected].
                                I got a porting code (TX156818) which was valid upto[protected].
                                I was not able to apply for MNP before the validity of porting code[protected] because I was busy.

                                I sent SMS to 1900 again on[protected] to get a new porting code.
                                I got a new porting code (TX692136) which is valid upto[protected].
                                I applied for MNP in Airtel's showroom on[protected].

                                On[protected] I recieved a SMS from 1901 saying that "Request rejected by donour due to the Porting code does not match the donour allocated porting code for this number"
                                I visited TATA Docomo showroom(100 Feet road,Indira nagar,Bangalore).The executive checked and told me that in TATA Docomo records showing the old Porting code(which was supposed to be expire on[protected].He told me that by[protected] evening the query will be resolved.

                                I visited again the same showroom on[protected]and asked the same executive about the complaint. He called somebody and told me that by[protected] morning you will get the SMS.But still at 11.30AM on[protected] I didn't recieved SMS from TATA Docomo.

                                SO I tried to call Nodal officer(Sureshkumar L) on [protected],but it was either busy or not responding.
                                then I sent mail to him on nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.com, but got no reply.
                                Then I tried to call Appellate officeron [protected] .it is also busy or not responding.Then I sent E mail to appellate officer on appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com mail ID.
                                Now I got a auto generated reply from appellate officer (Benjamin Joe).

                                Still I am waiting for any call or SMS from TATA DOCOMO.
                                I am frusteted and angry for the response of the TATA DOCOMO customer care.
                                It is the hopeless service I have ever experienced.

                                  I hold a salary a/c with HDFC Bank - Malad branch. As I reside in borivali, it is very obvious that I will visit the HDFC branch which is near my house rather than visiting the Malad branch.

                                  Recently I wanted to deposit 10, 000/- in this account ([protected]). The person on the counter informed me that I need to go to the Malad branch to deposit the money which is ridicolous. I was getting late for work so had to leave.

                                  On the second day, I visited the branch and deposited a Cheque. What I fail to understand here is if I'm dealing with HDFC bank, how does it even matter if I bank from Borivali/Malad/Churchgate or even Out of Mumbai.

                                  So eventually, I wasted 2 days to just deposite 10, 000/- Thanks to HDFC...

                                  I hold the account with them, ireespective of where I operate the account from period.

                                  There have been many undue and unfair charges in my account no [protected] in the recent past.
                                  Firstly, I had called phone banking to report loss of ATM card my pin did not work and the officer asked me for my ATM card number to reset the pin which was ridiculous then he asked me to visit the nearest branch. I was charged for 6 calls @ Rs. 50 per call in 10 mins for not helping me.

                                  (a) I was never informed that such charges and applicable.
                                  (b) My pin did not work on that call so you cannot charge me.
                                  (c) It is not possible for anybody to reach a phone banking officer 6 times in 10 mins.
                                  (d) Any would not call phone banking 6 times if he is told that they cannot help.

                                  Secondly, I have been charged for AQB charges for the last 3 cycles which have not been reflected in my account balance and are deliberately hidden from me and there has been no communication about them whatsoever in 9 months. As a result, whatever money I deposit in this account disappears the very next day. Mine is a salary account in the first place and if it is been converted to a non salary account I have not been informed about the same. in my account I have not received you letter that you claim to have sent to all account holders informing them that from 1st of April AQB charges are going to be hidden. If any of these was communicated to me in a timely manner we would have taken care of things in a better manner long back. Now there is a hidden negative balance of Rs. 2300 which I cannot and do not wish to pay.

                                  The last time I was charged AQB charges was in December 2005 when I was a bonafide employee of a company receiving regular salaries in that account and on top of that I had a balance of Rs. 22600 in my account. My charges were reversed and the person responsible, one Mr. Sameer Agrawal had to resign.

                                  Thirdly, there was a negative balance of Rs. 259.43 in my account due to rent of my demat account being charged. I have tried to close that demat account 9 times in the last 6 months including today I was never informed even after depositing cash in the branch and walking out of it this morning that there is a charge of Rs. 60 for depositing cash. Such a charge is unfair as it defeats the most basic purpose of having a savings account. I was never whatsoever informed that these charges exist before or after they were levied to my account. Fortunately, I happened to visit another branch today itself to check about the funds disappearing from my account for the past two months that I was informed about this charge and the AQB charges mentioned above.

                                  Given the circumstances mentioned above, my account has become a
                                  never-ending financial quick sand. I am not sure if I have a savings account or a vanishing account with you. So, I request you to reverse all these charges as soon as possible and let me close this account and that demat account without and further financial liabilities.
                                  Riti ...I am in complete agreement with you as I faced the same problem 2 months ago. The tata photon service is the worst in the market. Dont let them eat your hard earned money and lets pledge them to teach a lesson. I know that its diffcult to sue them and waste our time but what we can do is ask our family and friends not to use tata photon connections. Load all the social networkign sites with your issues so that a real face of tata could be shown to the people.

                                    I switched to tata docomo network on 6th February 2011 through MNP. The retailer through which i applied for MNP charged me Rs 49/- and asked me to come to him as soon as my tata docomo sim gets activated. When I went to him after my sim got activated, he recharged me by a special Rs 12/- promo voucher. When I asked him about the voucher he told me that, you will get double talk time every time you recharge with Rs 301 but he did not tell me that you will have to stick to this plan untill march 2012. Even your website doesnt have any information about this promo.

                                    But I dont want this plan and I want to get it deactivated. I asked him to deactivate my plan the same moment it got activated. I dint know that I will have to stick to this for one year. Till date I havent heard of any plan which cannot be deactivated once activated and thus did not see this coming. Just because of lack of information from the retailer side, I have to suffer. I dont want this plan. I am not able to avail any other special tarrif recharge voucher ( the main reason i switched to the docomo network). I have to pay more for my STD, ISD calls.

                                    I sincerely request you to deactivate this plan for my number. Till now I have only recharged with Rs 301 for which I got a talktime of Rs 600. If needed, I even allow you to deduct the bonus talktime given to me. But please deactivate this plan for me. I dont want to get stuck to a single plan for one year. The main reason I switched to your network was becuase of the various special tarrif recharge voucher, which suits to different needs of the customers. But i am unable to use them, just because of a Rs 12/- recharge and the negligence from the retailer side!!. This is really unfair. I have tried to call the customer care but they say, nothing can be done. This is not expected from such a reputed company like TATA.

                                    I would be really grateful to you, if you look into my matter as soon as possible, and get my Rs 12/- (double talktime on every recharge) plan deactivated. I am really looking forward to a satisfactory action. Please do look into the matter.

                                    Same very problem here...when i have recharged with this tariff the guys from docomo
                                    center park street, Kolkata didn't gave me any warnings..and just told me that either i go for 45p/min tariff or i recharge with 12 to get extra talktime every-time i recharge with specific values.I went for 12, but after that i asked them to recharge with 59 for us calling, they couldnt do that..when i called customer care the guys told me that i wont be able do any kind of other recharges except sms and gprs for next 1 year...i got stunned...only for this very hidden kind of things I've switched to docomo and again undone by the same old tricks..now my bro lives in us and i need to call him on a pretty regular basis...I'm really shocked hearing that upto 2012 march i have to keep this plan and there is no other way to deactivate this...this has become a kind of punishment for me..a punishment trusting and switching to DOCOMO.
                                    I posted a complaint on DOCOMO's website and you will be happy to know that they dectivated my Rs 12 plan within 3 days. I am really grateful to them for the quick response. I will recommend you to do the same.

                                      I think these are not right policies of any big brand.if anybody is following the company schemes then he/she should get same response from the company.
                                      Always company talks about its rules and regulations.this is not the metter of only Rs51.2,this is the metter of company's reputation.

                                        TATA docomo 3g sucks. they have billed me at 1ps/kb rate for browsing regardless of my 500 mb 3g plan. I had used only 60MB.They said I don't have 3g coverage and I am using 2g to browse. And now when I switched to GPRS 6GB plan. My bill is 1860rs for 4 days. Saying I browsed 180 MB regardless of my 6GB free plan. They said I used 3G to browse.
                                        Their technical dept confirmed that i don't have 3g range, I don’t know why on earth they charged me with lame reasons???

                                        The cust care sucks... they will confuse you and will never resolve your issue. I escalated the issue to Nodal officer, but they said the cust care is perfectly right and I have to pay the hefty bill of 1860rs. Now the issue is with Appellate authority, they haven’t responded yet.

                                        3g life pack gave me,
                                        1. Hefty bill regardless of my 6GB plan)
                                        2. More than 25 calls
                                        3. Lots of contradictory answers from cust care
                                        4. Another reason form supervisor
                                        5. Yet another reason from Nodal officer.
                                        6. Nodal officer found another root cause after 3 days and said their part is clear.
                                        7. I am perplexed with my bill since the due date is over and the dispute continues.

                                        So my friends please don’t go for TATA DOCOMO 3G postpaid on your phone,

                                        If some one from TATA sees this, please resolve my issue. I have submitted my complaint infront of Appellate authority. Now nodal officer and appellate authority is not responding..

                                        My name is Ashutosh Shastri i faced much similar problm about 3g. they r asking me to pay Rs. 5500 for 20 days
                                        same happened to me. I am senthil from bangalore. now i understood everyone suffered of docomo 3g billing. listen my experience.

                                        This message I am posting so that post paid users will get alerted when they select the 3G add-on packs thinking it is worth for money and finally paying the entire month salary for the 3G data usage.
                                        I am a Tata Docomo mobile network user. April month I activated 3G add-on pack worth Rs.200 with free data usage 512 MB. I wonderd how I will be knowing the data usage. That time the customer care person told me I can check my daily data usage through my accounts in tata docomo website. I started using 3G and also checked day to day usage in My accounts. Eventhough my data usage is less than the 512 MB free usage, the bill was generated based on one paise per kb basis. So I got scared and before reaching the maximum usage 512 MB, , I gave a request in person to stop the 3G services for my number to Tata docomo office at Koramangala, Bangalore. After that my 3G connection was stopped. But when I received my april month bill, I found that ( in addition to my mobile bill) instead of Rs.200 for the 3G add on pack, it was showing Rs.1871 chargable for my data usage. This Rs.1871 is based on one paise per kb for around 183 MB. Imagine if I used the 512 MB my bill will be Rs.5120.
                                        When I am looking for clarification from customer care, They told the Rs.200 3G add on pack is valid for one month and since I disconnected 3G service before one month, they converted the data usage based on per kb basis. With whose consent they changed and charged me like this. I gave disconnecting request in person to tata docomo office. If they told me about this hidden rule, i wouldnot have disconnected my 3G service. In their website also these hidden rules are not specified (I have the screenshots of your website). It seems that the customer care people don’t know the guidelines and also the Tata docomo bill generation software lacks some basic calculation. I paid my mobile bill plus Rs.200 for 3G add on pack and sent a complaint to Tata docomo. My complaint reference id regarding this issue is xxxxxxxxxxx. The person who contacted me unable to clarify my genuine concerns and finally sent one sms to me saying my issue sucessfully resolved. Again I sent a email to their official id. I got a reply they checked my account and what they charged is correct only for my data usage. So finally that RS.200 add-on pack is a sad joke.
                                        So dear consumers, whatever network you are using if you are under post paid subscription, don’t activate 3G. Remember If I used prepaid the network operator will not get the chance to charge me a huge bill.

                                        yes u r right. same thing they did with me. i am apying rs 200 for 500mb 3g data. when my bill
                                        came it says used data 80mb and instead of adjusting the amt in rs200 they have charged me rs 800 for using 80mb data. day light robbery. they are taking 200rs by saying 500mb data free for everymonth and after using 80mb they have asked to pay 800rs extra best eg of thugs n cheats.
                                        thousands of people like us are getting looted in the name of 3g by docomo.
