Hello Sir,

My Name is Punit Rana and I buy the Tata DOCOMO 3G Stick(MDN [protected]) on 05/03/2011 from white filed . On that time i buy they told me that we have very good network at Whitefield area Bangalore. When i come at home i try 1 week and here is no network most of time and some time only 1 signal and i am not able to work. I called in customer care on 11/03/2011 and raised the complain #NWK3G10040907 and they told me that your problem will be solve by 15/03/2011 but till now not solved , I have called customer care 2-3 time and ask to transfer to manager they told me that we are transferring and put me on hold for 20 min but no one answer my call.

I Pay 2000 rupees when buy the connection and 1000 need to pay per month ,if Tata DOCOMO can not give me service please return my money.

Tata DoCoMo / 3G E-stick — Fraud

Hello,
I had purchased tata docomo 3G e-stick last month. The company had cheated me. I had lodged complaint but the people in the Customer Care are not at all responding to me. Today the representative of the company had visited my place and agreed the problem is severe. But then no action is taken. I am lodging complaint from 8th April 2011 but still no solution. The company claims to give 3G speed i.e. 7.2 MBPS but I hardly get 100 KBPS speed. So please some one help me.

Tata DoCoMo / 3G E-stick — not able to connect to internet.

I have bought tata docomo E-Stick of number [protected] on 22-march-2010 from my home town bareilly UP. At the time of purchase they had confirmed me that i can use it all over india. But after coming to banglore when i tries to use it i was not able to connect it. More over whenever i tired to call them they always give me a complaint number and said my complaint will be taken care but nothing goes from there end.when i contacted them back about the status they never hav given me correct response. this story continues till now. More then 10 times i have call them to rectify my problem but nothing has happened over this period & problem is still existing. now i want to surrender the connection.

please help me for the same. As now after somedays they will over burdened me with the billing for the which i havent availed any services.

More then one month is gone, You guy Still sleeping...
I have one more complaint for Tata Docoma e-stick, when i log onto on website to recharge after entering my MDN number [protected] it gives me only one plan for prepay ( i use to see 3 unlimited plan for 30 days unlimited with fair usage after certain limit), the plan i see in website is usage based and it exhausted my recharge in 2 days, i feel the Tata docoma services are scam and when i called the customer care they have no clue of what plans tata docoma and disconnect on pretext of calling their supervisor .I feel cheated since i opted for a month of service which i was receving for 1250 Rs and i got 2 days service finally, i cannot recharge for the tata docoma website and website has horrible Payment gateway which never connect to netbanking or Debit Card .Customer Care is totally ignorent they don't know what is e-stick device and will keep repeating one sentence, the speed is also slow around 100 kbps even in the beginning and it keep disconnecting in the evening, so i advice keep it simple silly and don't buy this product .

TATA DOCOMO 3G SUPPORT — NO SUPPORT FOR 3G E STICK

Hi,

I have purchased a 3G E stick device on April 1st 2011 from Tata Docomo. After 48 Hrs they disabled the service stating the address is not verified and restored the service after manual verification of the address after 2 days. Service availability and speed is very good. No issues with connection and speed. But on April 12th the device become non-functional and I called support they took me through full cycle of trouble shooting by wasting almost 1 Hr knowing that the device is not functioning and created a trouble ticket[protected] and told me their back end team will call me. After the same I have called the support multiple times and asked for solution. They have only one answer they have forwarded the ticket to back end team and they will call me within 48 Hrs. That 48 hrs is not happen till now and today is April-25-2011.
From last 12 days I am not able to use the device or 3G connectivity and support have no answer till now. At last they gave Nodal Officer's phone number [protected]. After making 31 calls to this number I left with no choice. I have emailed to the nodal officer about the complaint till waiting for reply.

Due to privacy reasons I am not giving my mobile number and email address here. If required will provide later.

Dude..when they say they are giving nodal officer's number, they are actually giving some number which is non-functional . It has happened to me also . Each customer support executive gives different phone number . I just changed my sim .
when u say scam i agree they come under 2G Scam + 3G scam + so on and so on. Better to pay a little more to other company, let it be airtel, but tata docomo sucks big time. Customer care for them mean cust se mer (die out of pain), this is the motto they are following. There way of operations is so aweful that even BSNL people are laughing at them... say tata to tata.
i too have bought tata docomo e stick 3g, yesterday it dialled and connected to network manually, but today sayin "no dial tone", even the software comes with the stick is not working since begining?

The issue has solved. And from April 2011 I am using the same Service with full satisfaction on speed/ service/bills etc.

Wonderful Tata Docomo.

Now Airtel Started 3G service on Dongle where they are supporting 2G if 3G is not available in some area if we travel That means we will have some sort of Internet connection always on travel. That is wonderful.

Docomo 2GB is 750 Rs. Where Airtel 4GB is 750 Rs. This is wonderful offer. And Airtel SIM is not locked with the device so we can use the sim with any device or phone for 2G/3G. Speed also wonderful now.

    I bought a Tata Docomo 3G e-stick (Wireless Broadband) on dated 27/03/2011. By mistake PIN attempts failed and now it asks PUK code. I have requested a number of times for PUK code at Tata Docomo outlet but all my requests are like water on deaf ears. It is now nine days since I bought dongle and I can,t access internet due to above problem.

      Tata Docomo — balance deduction from 2 months for horoscope msg

        TATA Docomo has automatically activated Rs 15 GPRS plan in my number [protected] at around 6pm on 30th March 2011. It has taken away a balance of 15 Rs for the service which I did not subscribe.

        And the most pity thing is that this automatic activation has blocked my one month GPRS Rs 95 which I activated on the same day afternoon at 1.30pm. Which mean my hard earn money Rs 95 is useless.

        When I contacted Customer Care they say that I have activated it. Oh God! What a lie!!!

        I need my money Rs 15 and my one month GPRS for which I have earlier subscribed before 1st April 2011.

        If you fail to do either of these things then am going to discontinue your service.
        thanks for refunding my amount. hope such issues wont occur in future.

          Hi I am using [protected] since a year which is docomo's no.
          But past 6months docomo started cheating with me.
          They people deducted my 70rs. Wrongly under 3 (30+30+10 vas packs which I had never activated but after complaining their 121 i got immediately my money returned.

          2nd time after 6days they again charged me 60rs. wrongly and these time they told as you already got online waiver so this time we can't provide you a return but due to my insisting they took my complaint & within 6days they given me 60rs. Back.

          3rd time after a month i been charged upto 50rs. & 121 care denied to take complaint so i sent a mail to Nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.Com within 6days i got an apologized mail & my 50rs. Also.

          4th time after 3 months
          at 6th march, 2011 they charged me 48rs. For game downloading as per their system but they & I only know it was just cheating I complaind they said it was correctly charged so they lied
          but I sent my complaint to Nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.Com & within 24hrs. Again charged 48rs. & a mail from Nodal.[protected]@tatadocomo.Com they said charges were correct

          so I sent an another mail to appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.Com for 98rs. Wrongly deduction

          to my goodness their appellate authority also says the same thing that you've been charged correctly

          now I have just 3.84rs. In my a/c & docomo again did the same thing to me & they don't leave even 2rs. They deducted 2rs. For java game

          would you help me to get my 100rs. Back

          I would never prefer tata docomo to anyone as this co. is making fraud with its customers by deducting their balance unsolicitedly

          My name is rishabh and I am using a docomo sim for last 1 year and I am happy with the service until 1st april when I got a message on my cellphone saying that 'thanks for diwnloading java game India vs Australia test cricket. You heave been charged Rs. 72.' But I have not downloaded any such games. So I request you to pls return my money as early as possible. My email id is rishabh.[protected]@gmail.com.

            I wish to draw your attention towards undesired deduction of balance from my account. I have 533.21 mb downloadable data balance in my account, morning I have put my sim card in another phone to use net and my balance of Rs 0.30 & 0.20 was deducted. I called 121 and asked for last three deductions. There was no such deduction on call.
            From now problem starts-
            1)- I talked to Mr. Bharat at 9:05 AM, tell him to log my complaint, and he replies me , that I could not refund your balance and even he deny to log my complaint. He told me your balance is deducted because you take your sim out of phone. Then he told me that may be my balance was deducted by “Docomo dive in application”. Then he told me to he will check and he disconnected my phone.
            2)- I called again and Mr. Yuvraaj was on the phone he listen and he also disconnected my call.
            3)- I called again and at this tyme Mr. Ranjan Mishra was on the phone he told me new thing that balance deduction will be update in next 4 hours and even he could not tell me that my balance is deducted or not.
            Even after 8 hours at 5 P M there no update on my unfair deduction. One thing was common in above all your customer care executive that either they don’t know about anything regarding your service or they they are telling lie. May be they only reduced my balance intentially.

            Hi,

            I recharged my sim with Rs. 199 on 29/5/2012. I didn't use any data from my mobile with Docomo Pack and never activated any services. Usually avoids all service messages also. But Rs.10 is deducted as Data Usg on 30/5/2012. I called 121 to file a complaint but no customer service is there and only voice recordings are going. So, Please re-credit my deducted amount, otherwise I will never continue with your service.

            I have received the sms 18.32pm dated 19/8/2012 without requesting caller tone service (mitti ke rang) is activated for my mobile without any subscription. My no is [protected]. Please deactivate the caller tune.Pls cancel the service immediately and refund all the charges & do not activate any service in future without my specific instruction. When I never subscribed it .My outgoing call stopped only in custmercare no.(121) in roaming. So I am not informing in costmercare. Outgoing call in castmercare starts continue in roaming & with roaming.
            Pls send us how can I deactivate this service.

              Some time I was receiving floating messages on idle screen of my mobileto activate some sessage service. Eventhough the keypad of mobile was locked once, while the mobile handset was in my bag, 'ok' key was pressed and these messeges started coming of hindi funny shero shayari. Rs 30/- was deducted for 1 month from my balance. Now I want to deactivate this message service from some no. 543... something. Tata Docomo Chat support could not resolve my issue. Please help me, as I am loosing my money without my knowledge.

              This messages are coming from 54321. Today one more service was activated on my number without my knowledge and Rs. 30/- charged again for bollywood gossip messages. This is really a shame fro a Company like Tata Docomo.

                My docomo number is [protected].

                Docomo has deducted Rs.45/- from my prepaid account without my authorisation on 2.3.2011 towards caller tune charges.
                I immediately loged a complaint GBL[protected] DT 3.3.2011 with their consumer care aasking for refund since I had not requested for any caller tunes. I was tols that my complaint would be attended to within 28 hrs. Nobody called up for the next three days, after that I myself called up to enquire about the status and was told that my complaint was in process and it would take some more time , since there was no response from docomo I sent them an e-mail addressed to their nodal officer for customer complaints Ms. Shruti Muley. There was a reply from their side asking for details to which I replied immediately.After that again there was no response.
                When I called up and asked to talk to Ms. Shruti Muley she flatly refused refund on the ground that I had opted for caller tunes and hence the amount could not be refunded, I told her that I do not use caller tunes and in this case I had never opted for this service and hence my refund should be processed, upon this the call was disconnected and since then this so called nodal officer for complaints does not accept calls from me , whenever I call up customer care and ask to be connected to Ms. Shriti Muley the person attending the call refuses to transfer the call to her , after much convincing they promise to transfer the cal and put the call on long hold and ultimately disconnect the call . I have made several attempts to get in touch but in vain , I have even sent a reminder mail but ther has been no reply. This is disgusting on part of TATA Docomo.

                  dear sir,

                  I m using tata docomo number for last 5 to 6 month.. and i m suffering from their services... they activated any skim without giving any intimation. they have been taken charged for it... i contacted many times of tata docomo customer care.. but they did not reply me... and they did not co-operate with customers...
                  Without giving any intimation they activated cricket score facility.. and they sent me cricket scores via messages. so many times i called tata docomo customer care and requested to get my refund back and deactivate that skim but they did not do it... and daily they charged 5 rs per day.. and i lost my around 40 to 50 rs balance for that skim...

                    Witht the launch of 3G on Docomo, I went in for a new connection in January 2011. For the initial month or so, the connection was fine and data speeds, although not entirely satisfactory, were upto 600 to 700 Kbps. Then on the real thing started to show up. Data speeds were down to 100 Kbps and frequent loss of data connection reared its ugly head. For the last month or so, the data connection kept dropping every 2 to 3 hours. Now comes the most annoying part - Customer Care! Every time I call them, they have a phrase to say "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". Well, you should be but then its not been resolved or bettered in any way. After about 10 calls and 4 logged complaints, they kept promising that things will be sorted within 48 hours, which 48 hours and what month of what year is anybody's guess!

                    Now, for the last 3 days, there's no 3G data connection at all and the same "48 hours" promise keeps getting thrown at me every time I call. I even went to the extent of hard-resetting my Android device (I wish I hadn't) thinking it might just be a device problem but no luck there either as it clearly was a network issue. Subsequent calls proved that the people at Docomo Customer Care a re completely ineligible and ignorant when it comes to understanding an issue. They kept telling me to manually do a network search and select 'UMTS' and then restart my phone and it would solve the issue. How on earth was I supposed to make them understand that I'd tried all possible fixes and troubleshooting techniques before finally giving up and calling their awful Customer Care. Its the 4th day since I do not have a data connection and I have to select the 2G network and use the super-slow and almost unusable EDGE data while paying for 3G data. Also, no number of complaints seems to work or get them to fix what clearly is an embarrassing level of service they have been providing! Also, inspite of data not working, I keep losing hundreds, yes hundreds, of MB from my data balance and that doesn't seem to bother them either. There's a limit to how much of a whacker you can be, Docomo seems to whack people off money and keep a straight face at the same time.

                    The strange thing is, when I go to other parts of the city, th 3G data works fine. That does not mean I live in a remote part of the city, I live in one of the busiest parts of Bangalore and this is the service I've been putting up with.
                    I'll give Docomo and myself 2 more days and if it continues, I might just switch to another network. There is a certain degree of shoddiness you can put up with, this is way beyond that degree.
                    It has been 2 days since this reply was posted and I've made 4 calls to Customer Care following this. Three out of those four times, the people just hung up on me mid-way and on the 4th attempt the lady had a new story to tell me. She said that the resolution date for my issue had been postponed to 27th (which is today) and I'll have to wait until 12:30 in the night for it. Wow! How was I supposed to know, from the evening news or something? And she was rude to an extent which almost made me lose my temper. Anyway, she hung up mid-way too. Great!

                    So, now I'm formally lodging a complaint in the consumer court and throwing my Docomo SIM down the toilet, that's where it belongs. I'll just keep the number and switch back to Vodafone. I had a pretty much untroubled time with Vodafone and only switched to Docomo for 3G, terrible mistake! Now, I'd SERIOUSLY discourage anyone to even try this horrendous thing called Tata Docomo and save themselves from a nightmare. These people are a bunch of lying crooks and you're better off if you never have to deal with them. Horrible service, awful network and their 3G services are a joke at best.

                    Stay away. You've been warned!

                    And for the record, this is the worst experience I've ever had with any service provider in about 15 years o[censored]sing mobile phones in 5 different countries. I've never had to go through so much trouble (not even close) and this is actually the first time I've had to come on a public forum and post my rant online.

                    Done and dusted.

                    Just for the heck of it, I'm going to send you my details (for the umpteenth time!) to the email you're mentioned here. Lets see if a miracle happens this time around!

                      I bought tata photon on 2 march 2011 and it got activated on 8 march after making 27 phone calls and since that day it keeps getting disconnected and even doesnt get connected and speed is very poor and i have tried to reach customer care to senior executive' Mr. Gurpreet singh' but no one resolves the issue and i havent heard from anyone till now. Kindly make the arrangement to take the device back and refund my money as i have made several complains including written once but no one responds to it. Iam so sick and tired of your bad services and writing on google about your bad device and bad services almost each day. Kindly refund the money and catch that fraud 'Mr Inder sharma' who is cheating people and then after they buy the device he doesnt pick their calls.

                        I recently switched to Tata DOCOMO. The GPRS on the network is extremely slow! many sites do not open.... and others takes ages to load... even if i goto google.com it takes about a minute to load...

                        I am using HTC Hero with Android 2.1.

                        I am too having the slow speed problem although network coverage is about 100%.but the internet speed with both APNs:
                        TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
                        TATA.DOCOMO.DIVE.IN
                        the speed that i receive is about 5-16kB/s max.I am using Nokia 5230 with the latest firmwarecavailable to date.I dont know why but it happens like that.I request you to resolve this as early as possible.Another issue is that some tata docomo users exploit certain IPs for free internet.I would appreciate tbat if you consider taking action against them.I hope that the above matters are resolved as early as possible.please find below my contact details:

                        I had posted a complaint previously to which I didn't receive a reply.this is my second complaint regarding the problem stated in my previous complaint.This time time I have measured the speed more minuetly came to know that the speed has got even worse its about 10kB/s which equals to about 80kbps.I hope that Tata Docomo, which is a very reputed company, will live upto its name and address this issue as soon as possible.I phoned the customer care many times bur they were unable to help me.So I hope that TATA DOCOMO officials do something to solve the problem.my contact details are the same as mentioned in my previous complaint.

                        I already had a chat section and that guy send me the GPRS settings once again saying that for android phones the settings are different...but the fact is that der is no change...im fed up with this...plz do help...
                        very cheating network in tamilnadu...once time i was activated gprs 63rs pack..i have 21rs in my main account...normally i used the gprs..but suddenly i was lost my main account...and then check my Gprs mb balance.i have 10mb..but my balance was lost..very shamefull customercare service...totally cheating network in tamilnadu

                          *that i personaly visited ur tata indicom outlet in dwarka sector 6 twice with my laptop and tataphoton device but the person attended problem not able to connect net to my system, they also failed to open my photon plus account on their system to lodge a complain.

                          *that i have complaint no[protected] dated 13/12/10 , but no one visited or even asked me about problem.

                          *that when i called on ur help line on 17/12/2010 about above mentioned problem they asked me to wait till 11.40 pm as an upgradation is on in dwarka. but hour before of the mentioned deadline of 11.40 pm the close my complain and send me a greeting massage.


                          *that my money and time is very hard earned.


                          *that i send mail on 23 &24 /12/10 and 16/1/11 ..

                            Hereby I am submitting my complaint to TRAI against Tata Docomo.

                            I have a number [protected] of tata docomo activated on 1-Jan-10 after using few months it was lost. When I came to know that my number has 110% talk-time offer due to one year old customer than my mind was changed & I confirmed to Customer Care (121) & Retailer Helpline (52202) that my number is in grace period it will be soon disconnected. Thereafter I recharged on 15-Mar-11 of Rs 111/- ( transaction id- [protected]) & than I again asked from Customer Care that is there any problem in my number they said, "no there is not any problem" I also asked that the number has in grace period before recharging, answered that the condition of disconnection of number is canceled due to my recharging of Rs 111/- I also called to another number on [protected] 15-Mar-11.

                            So, therefor I want to ask to TRAI that if the number is in grace period why the left it in grace period if they had left so, why they disconnected on 16-Mar-11 after successful recharge amount of Rs 111/-, successful outgoing on that particular date.
                            Why? my question is Why???????

                              I continously get distrubed by Docomo calls. They do call every now n then n witout my activating of the various offer packs those are activated and my balance is deducted witout my knowledge, and when i try to call the consumers’ care for the details and when did i activate dose packs dey jst keep on saying hold the line your call is important for us but after holding the line 4 half n hour also they keep on repeating the same line. While i do the cal i dont know how the subscribtion packs get activated and i have to keep on deactivating them. This is causing a lot of problems to me i m not able to concentrate on my work and studies and jst have to waste my time dailing customer care or deactivating my activated services which i never activated. At present they have deducted my 35 Rs. for a service which i never activated and r not deactivatig it dt 22.3.2011. I don’t even know why it was deducted and i want my money back.
                              If dis is going to continue i will have to discontinue my service with DOCOMO.
                              This happened with me in the month of march 15 days before and again dis has happened if dis is going on happening i will have to deactivate my docomo no. The service which DOCOMO is Providing is troubling me a lot.
                              Every now n den i have to waste my time complaining about al dis issues.
                              I realy get disturbed a lot coz of the all dis.

                              Please help me regarding the same.

                              I am Abhishek and i am using tata docomo for more dan 01 years but its the second time that the amount of Rs 30 have been deducted form my balace for feng shui pack which was not subscribed by me. 1st time it got activated on 22.02.2011 and rs30 have been deducted from my accont. I tried to deactivate the service but got no response for this.
                              its a cheating with the customers and i kindly request you to take against them to deactivate dis service and refund all the amount that was deducted from my account.
                              Kindly do it asap, or else I will report it to consumer forum.

That recharge has failed..and when I visited Axisbank website, there is debit of Rs.100/-.but I havn't got any recharge amount, Please take this request into consideration and refund my money.

                                      Tata Docomo activated a service called ModelVideoClub without my will and cut Rs99.0 at 25-Jul-14 01:07. This is not fair way to make money Docomo Kindly deactivate that service and refund my money back Mobile No [protected]

                                      Tata Docomo 3G Network...Worst Service...Fake promises!

                                      one week back I have brought TATA docomo 3G SIM..they promised even up to 6-7mbps at minimum level but I'm getting 100kbps or sometimes less than that. Really fake fake promises given by TATA docomo at least for 3G!

                                        i had activate my tata photon + on 9th march 2011.but still i have problem with it..i could n't start my service...and service provider did not get response....i requested to the head of gandhinagar Mr.harendra sinh..so i want to just start my service..so that's why i contact u...so i hope that you will take action again them..and get me best service.....
