[Resolved] Tata Indicom Broadband — Speed And Server Down Problem

Dear All,

I am tata indicom broadband user since 2 years. I took this connection as this is the only ISP provider in my area. I am using internet since 6 years with diff. isp, but I never came across worst service of tata broadband. I am living in west side of ahmedabad -s-g highway. Since 2 months I am facing server down problems oftenly. I have to call 3-4 times in a day for follow up as there are no much technical ppl in city...all are service providers sitting in hyderabad and mumbai on phone....they also dont follow up matters seriously at all.
Last week(around 1st sept), my connection was getting speed problem on 384 kbps plans...its frequently disconnecting and i sent mail and called for solution....now after 3-4 days, my connection was stopped...there was no connectivity....i was calling like 2-3 times in a day since tuesday, but no follow up and no solution till date from tata side....only they say that "work is in progress, it will be restore as soon as possible".
Whole week, i was without net at my office and home....i spent around 200 rupees at cyber cafe.
From customer service dept, they dont know the problem and time. When i asked for compensation, i got feedback that my complaint has been closed !!! now if my net is not working how one can close complaint? worst service !!! now decided, to go for bsnl or airtel, which is good in my area. Dont go on "tata" name....i respect for Ratan Tata but hate tata broadband.

The reason for not giving personal details because ppl of tata broadband knows that they are not satisfying customers and they dont have technical ppl who can solve problems of customers immediately in modern time...

There may be many people like me facing problems and i just want to ask them change your isp or take alternate isp for back up....one cant trust on tata broadband at all...Also their plans are quite expensive....they dont have proper technical staff as well....if you still want to try, try it....and if you experience any problems, please share here.

Tata Indicom Internet Services — Worst speed since 2 week till date

Tata Indicom Broadband — Broadband down for 4 weeks now, no supported yet.

Sir/Madam.
I have prepaid, tata indicom broadband for 6 months in Mumbai area(Power On & On 6 -256), Account number:ACC[protected]. almost every alternate weekend, the internet connection goes off. registered numerous number of complaints to their remote support somewhere in Pune or god knows which village. there is no coordination between their village style "call center" and support person in the locality. Local support submit some report, even without visiting the customer location to investigate. Paid 6 months advance plan, already one month gone without any service.

What happened to the TATA brand?. Such a low class service and looting public money. lots of mental harassment of calling their report customer service and getting the same reponse without any action on the ground.

I would never ever recommned tata indicom broadband to anyone. Governemnt should penalise such inefficient service & charging money in advance for not providing the service.

I AM ALSO SUFFRING FROM THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE TATA INDICOM BROAD BRAND BEARING NO [protected] ( ACC NO[protected].BUT LAST 2/3 MONTHS I AM NOT GETTING NET SERVICE THOUGH I AM PAYING THE CHARGES IN DUE TIME.NO BODY FROM THIS BIG COMPANY ENTERTAINED US. I HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO LEAVE THE TATA INDICOM

I am not agree that they refund it...They did not ask for sorry and not even told reason for shut down. I am happy with Spidigo net service. Tata Brod. is just looting...
