Hi this is santhosh,

my user name is santhoshattata
am facing connection problem from so long i have called several times and i inormed to customer care, they are not able to solve my problem,

this are the complaint numbers from the day one

all this complaints are closed without my notification, do you think am raising complaint for time pass....?

you know how much my download should be...?
am getting 12 Kbps..

i dont think so there is use of speaking with customer service they have worst back end dept,
this smart are closing my complaint with in 24 hours instead of resolving it


i am feeling very much frustrated to be as Your customer.
where u cannot solve this problem


my question is its that a rocket science to arrange a tech guy who can visit here and look aftter my complaint..

I am very much sure if my complaint did not resolved with in this saturday ill never pay my outstanding or my bill what ever....

dear sir,
i am a tata indicom existing customer from ALIGARH-202001, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA.
now i want to purchase a new tata indicom prepaid mobile phone for using internet on PC.
please give me the list of internet compitable cell phone
I HAVE A INTERNET CONNECTION IT DOES NOT HAVE SPEED
Sir actully when you are using internet on your pc or laptop, , , many times your antivirus scanner allways ON, , , if you have updated licence antivirus pack ... so there is no problem ... becoz when you are serfing any page that time your antivirus scan all pages & give you the proper images quality ... also your speed is depend on your configration, , , like RAM, Hardware part... allways delete unwanted file from your pc, , , , so it will defenetlly Help you to increse your speed, , , , , ,
one more thing when you on your pc or laptop that time your start up menu also affect on slow speed problem, , , , , , , prashant bhalerao...

    Hi,

    My internet connection was terminated in the end of august 2010.
    As we had raised a request to transfer of modem to our new address. However, we were being told that we cannot provide the service in that new area due to network problem. So, they took all the devices with them. Also, we have cleared all the pending amounts till August
    I have a copy of the bill, where I have cleared all my dues.
    I reapplied for the connection on 31st October 2010. However since (2nd Nov) my net connection has been disconnected again.
    The reason mentioned is that I have an outstanding amount of around Rs2500.
    I have talked to one executive he is saying that your account is activated and you have to pay bill for September and October.
    But First thing it is a postpaid connection with free rental.
    Second thing It is the mistake from TATA Indicom side that there fellow member has not closed our earlier account when the instrument was already moved from our earlier location.
    (they already checked the usage i.e 0 MB For both months ).

    We are ready to pay any deposit that is required for the new connection.i.e 1500Rs.and ready to use the service but they are not providing us any solutions

      MY SPEED IS VERY USELESS.
      I WROTE ON THIS SITE, I GOT WRITTEN REPLY FROM TATA THAT MY PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED ON 11. THIS MONTH.
      A GENTLEMAN CALLED ME ASK TO CHECK FEW THINGS, WHICH BROUGHT NO RESULT. HE PROMISED THAT SOME ONE WILL COME ON 11. THIS MONTH AT 14 O CLOCK N THAT THE PERSON WILL PHONE BEFORE HE COMES,
      I WAITED WHOLE AFTERNOON NO CALL NO VISIT. I TRY TO CONTACT TATA TROUGH EMAIL WHICH FAILED. THEN TRIED SOME NR.'S FROM THE MAIL STILL I FOUND A NR. WHICH WORKED. ONE OTHER GENTLEMAN I GAVE ALL THE INFOS OF CASE PLUS DOCKET NR. HE SAY WILL SEND SOMEONE SAME TIME THEN YESTERDAY.
      AT 11 O CLOCK TODAY GOT A CALL FROM A WOMAN ARROGANT ASKING WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? SO AGAIN EXPLAIN THE CASE SOMETIME LATER DIFFERENT WOMAN CALL: TATA DOES NOT DO HOUSE VISITS COME TO OFFICE AT THREE WHIT LAPTOP N DEVICE. SHE CHECKED DID SOMETHING ON MY LAPTOP BUT NOT IMPROVED PHONED A MAN WHO SAY TO DO SPEEDTEST THIS FAILED TO BE PERFORMED ON LAPTOP SHE PUT THE DEVICE ON HERE COMPUTER AND WE DID SPEED TEST RESULT 1000 MS OR WHAT IS CALLED 0.008 INCOMING 0.002 OUTGOING TECHNICAL OK PRACTICAL NOT OK
      DID THE SPEED TEST² ONE DAY BEFORE AND THERE WAS 400 MS N THE OTHER TESTS FAILED. THE GUY ON THE PHONE WANT TO TELL ME THAT THE IN AND OUT GOING SPEED METER IN THE DEVICE IS A A GIMMICK WHEN 0 IS WRITTEN OR 5 KBS IS ALL RIGHT PERFECT.
      ACCEPT OR CHANGE THE COMPANY HIS FINAL WORD.
      THE WOMAN IN THE OFFICE SAY COME ON SUNDAY SOME TECHNICIANS FROM DELHI WILL BE THERE
      ASKED WHAT TIME SHE CHUCKED THE SHOULDER AS U LIKE.
      I GO SUNDAY AND IF I GET NOT THE SPEED I GOT ON THE FIRST TWO MONTHS I THROW THE DEVICE 2100 RS IN THE BIN BECAUSE I CAN NOT SELL IT BACK SHE TOLD ME THAT WHIT A [censored] YOU I DON'T CARE SMILE.
      FACE. WELL SUNDAY IS THE DAY U GET IT FIXED OR I SWITCH TO AIRTEL N BOYCOTT AND BLACKMAIL EVERYTHING WHAT IS PRODUCED FROM TATA BECAUSE A COMPANY WHO NOT LIFE UP TO THERE PROMISES IS NOT WORTH TO BE USED ANY MORE AND TO HELP OTHERS DO NOT GET CHEATED
      if i knew that tata indicom whiz i should have never taken it,i have been using internet for the last 10 years and i found out that tata indicom whiz is the one of worst internet connector of all, i have a broadband connection at home, with same speed as tata whiz has, it give me a download speed of around 100 to 110 kbps while tata give me around 1 to 3, i have been using tata whiz for the last one year i have never got a download speed of 10 kbps, are they cheating us?

      TATA Indicom Whiz — SPEED IS DELIBERATE CUT DOWN

      I MADE A TATA INDICOM UN LIMITED CONNECTION FIRST ONE MONTH GOOD SPEED SECOND MONT MOST OF THE TIME GOOD SPEED AND ONE MONTH OK SPEED AND THIS MONTH NO SPEED.
      WHEN OPEN A PAGE IT GOES TEMPORARY UP TOO 170 KBS N FALLS BACK TOO 0 TO 12 KBS USELESS TO DO DOWNLOADS.
      I KEEP CALLING THE TATA NR[protected] BUT THE GUY FROM THE COMPANY SAY YES YES I FIXED IT I CALL U BACK NEVER CALLS BACK NEVER GET IT DONE, NEVER TELLS ME WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.
      WROTE 4 SMS TO 121 N NOT GOT EVEN SINGLE REPLAY
      AM WHIT MY LATIN AT THE END AS WELL AS WHIT MY PATIENT
      I HEARD ABOUT THAT INTERNET PROVIDERS CUT THE SPEED OF CUSTOMERS HOW CAN I SUE THEM OR MOVE THEM TO STOP TO BE UNRIGHTEOUSNESS

      still the ear does not pain my opinion a customer complain site works only if it provide service or assistance from a independent institution for fee which is not involved or sponsored by the company's we complain other wise u go on and on from one disappointment to a other.

      TATA Indicom Whiz — speed

      I, have again since one month Speed Problems,
      I called local technician, phone switched of or not picking up.
      I called local office standard answer yes yes call u back, no call back ever no offering of Solution today he say i not speak English i say in Hindi no help again cut off in the middle. Cleaning browser cache n temporary files not bring results.
      Absolute ignoring from the local workers of you company and non responsive.
      i get one month free Internet, firing o[censored] rishikesh staff n a Solution or i will switch the Company so soon my last advance payment run out.
      I not accept this kind of treatment any longer and you product.is waste
      Is a scam and a fraud also temporary de blocking of my connection speed while some one check i do not consider as help

        Dear Sir,

        We (Vertex Securities Ltd) are Tataindicom broadband customer as a user "vertex visakhapatnam" since 2 years at Visakhapatnam. Our office premises shift to another place on 01.11.2010. We submit the letter to Visakhapatnam tataindicom office on 25.10.2010 for shifting internet to our new premises. But tataindicom office staff not responded yet. Our staff daily consult indicom office 3 to 5times per day. Yesterday we go for same then the staff told we are not in a position to shift the connection in new premises.

        Regarding this reason we are facing many problems. So what we do give a suggestion.

            TATA Indicom — Not activating DND service on my number

            I am active user of TATA INDICOM Mobile number ([protected]) from last 8 months, using my number for official works. On Oct.2010, I registered my above mentioned mobile number for DND Service with TATA Indicom, company assured me that i will not recieve any promotional or unwanted calls on my number after the 45 days of my complaint. Now after more than 3 months i am still getting promotional calls from TATA Indicom, Nobody from TATA Indicom store or customer care department is ready to accept my complaint. I am getting only one response from TATA Indicom i.e. "WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT OR REQUEST DUE TO SYSTEM ERROR / UPGRADATION" I am not able to understand that how i can stop these unwanted promotional calls of TATA Indicom, getting calls after every 30 mins. I have also sent email to TATA Indicom head office but still facing the same problem.

              Handset not repired in Warranty Period by Customer Care centre (Nanak telecom ambala cantt)
              COMPLAINT ON TATA INDICOM CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE

              I HIMANSHU, am purchased the TATA INDICOM handset C2806 on 11/09/2010 from Ashok communication ambala cantt-133001 as per Bill No.11889 and the MEID No.A[protected]D39. My handset display defected with in 2-3 weeks of purchasing the handset.i given the handset for repairing to the care and service center now today they totally refused to repair the handset after holding the handset since from 3 weeks of complaint.

                Dear Sir/Madam

                My sister has bought Photon+ last month in delhi/noida circle. my complain is regarding the speed of device. It is supposed to give 3.1 Mbps but it is connecting at 153.6 Kbps only. It is not working on HSIA network. when I tested download and upload speed by www.speedtest.in, I became shocked to see download at 90 Kbps and upload at 30 kbps. I repeated test more than 10 times but result was almost same(download varies from 80 to 110 kbps).
                when I complained to customer care, they did some troubleshoot on phone itself, but none of those worked. then they generate complain ticket (ticket No.[protected] dated 02 Nov-2010).and told me that somebody will come to me and rectify my problem by 03/Nov. but nobody arrived. I again called and asked about same they replied that deadline of my problem is 06-Nov . but again nobody came. when I called again on 06-Nov at 9.00 P.M they again shocked me by telling that my ticket has been closed. that means my problem is rectified. Is it joke? they simply updated my complain as resolved without sending any person...... it is not the end
                I request him to register my complain again. my next complain no is[protected] dated 06 - Nov. but again nobody has come....

                Now I want to sue tataindicom for my damage due to their bad internet service and for my mental harrashment. and I want my whole money back immedialtely by returning device. I request you to help me and show me path to go ahead to give him a lession. I dont want to put even my enemy in such situation.. any help will be highly appriciated....

                you have to go consumer court. and you may claim Rs. 500000 for mentaly disturbance. I also going for my photon whiz.

                dear Pushkar an advice learn some english start with an english reader of grade 6th elementary, second it says speeds UPTO 3.1mps speed depends on the machine you are using and how many users are using lan data use less programs that require internet and delete cookies and templates its worked for me :)

                  Hi my name is Aman Dasgupta,I am a TATA Indisom customer from last 1.5 years and recently opted for mobile internet.While upgrading my SIM to OMH card which gives us the facility to use internet on Samsung Corby F339 handset,I have been informed from TATA indicom that my internet charges will be Rs 0.40/1min.Even on my bill the Summury page(first page of bill) says that internet charges are Rs 0.40/1min,however they have charged me Rs 2.0/min,which is copletly incorrect.When I spoke to them regarding the same,they advised me that the internet charges for Samsung Corby is Rs 2.0/min and the charge that reflects on the first page is a generalised internet charges and not the actual charge for my fone.They alo have my fone details in their system as I am using Samsung Corby.This is the third bill that I have received with the same kind of misinformation.
                  I myself work for Vodafone Hutchison Ltd(Austalia) for 3Global services and a bit aware of telecome industry,however a person who dosnt know this kind of tacts will keep on paying incorrect charges to these companies.
                  This needs to be addressed strictly and end of the day its consumer who suffers.
                  I also have the hard copy of two invoices,please let me know if I have to send those to you.Looking forward to hear from you.

                    I had applied for a Tata Indicom 'Walky' phone connection in March 2006. I also paid a deposit amount of Rs. 1500 which was refundable. Later on after 4-5 months I have cancelled the connection and return the instrument to the Tata Indicom office. There I was told that I will be getting my refund with a months time. But I didnt receive from the company. When I further enquire about the refund I was told that my connection was converted to lifetime plan and refund amount was utilised for that. Though this was done without my consent since I never applied for life time plan. Inspite of several complains there is no response from the company. Now I am approaching CNBC so that I could get justice to my case.

                      TATA Indicom — Walky not working

                      Dear Sir,
                      My tata walky number[protected] not working when i dialed this number it gives a massage "this phone can not be used out side the activated area".I have complaint many times about 10-12 times but problem not solved.When i discuse to tata indicome engineer he tells us that is network problem.I purchase this walky about 2009.It work properly only 6 month after this its not working.

                        I think you people are too weak at financial calculation , Plz recheck the discount portion

                        Bill is charged on pro-rata basis for 24 days whereas discount given for 9 days .

                        You people think that all your customers & consumer are fools and whatever you say your job is finished by selling connection.

                        If i dnt get the revised bill on my mail by today , then i am not going to pay any late fees and will also take the matter with consumer forum as i think you people just make a fool o[censored]r customer.

                        The biggest mistake i have made by taking up ur so called photon plus ( Fast Internet as you say)

                          With reference to the above account, I would like to bring to your notice the following.

                          1)Frequent disruption, by way of Local Server down, on an average 3-5 times a week.
                          2)Disconnection of more than 24 hours, at least 2 times a month.
                          3)Frequent variation in speed of connection.
                          4) No access to help line numbers, ie we are not able to access the local help line numbers at all, so in turn a time delay occurs in registering of complaint.
                          5)No knowledge of problems by call centre staff and refusal to hand over the phone to the supervisor or technical team.

                          As you can see above and you can also go through the account, for the number of hours and days of interrupted supply of Service. Kindly go through the No of hours service has not been provided.

                            Sir/Madam,

                            I have taken a connection from a Tata Retailer who's shop is situated very near to technopark. I have taken the connection make payment and submit all the documents. But, from last week onward they have bard my connection. They are saying that they did not receive the documents. My phone number is: [protected].

                            When Tata Indicom has done document verification I was surprised that they were telling the document i.e. Xerox of my passport that I have submitted at the time of taking the connection is not matching with my credential and I have asked them to refer the proper document. I told this six times.

                            I also informed TataIndicom about this, that time they told everything are fine and no need to worry. All documents are perfectly correct and updated in my tata profile.

                            But, from 24th October onward they block my connection and telling that my document verification has failed.

                            Here, my question is I am having two tata connection one is DOCOMO( kerala) another is tataindicom Chennai. The numbers are given below: [protected] and [protected]. I have submitted the same document for those connection and those are perfect.

                            Note: the DOCOMO connection I have taken after this connection.

                            Previously also I have raised the same complain and that time they has resolved that. But, this time again the same problem.

                                Respected Sir,

                                This is Sunder K. Hasseja from ‘R. K. Tailors’, Shop No. 215, Main Bazaar, Ulhasnagar – 421002. This is regarding a complaint against my neighbour shop ‘Kohinoor Lifestyle’, Shop No. 216, 217, who has installed a Mobile Network Tower of Tata Indicom on top of his shop. As we all know it may cause major issues like ‘Brain Tumour’ or ‘Brain Hemorrhage’ or even ‘Cancer’ to health of human beings. And also this being a residential area, all people here are afraid of such issues.

                                During installation of the tower, we requested the neighbour shop and the Tata Indicom Officials regarding this problem but they refused to accept this matter and continued their installation. We then decided to approach the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation.

                                We had a word with Past Municipal Commissioner regarding this matter on 03rd March 2010. He also accepted this fact regarding the hazards of Mobile Tower in Residential Area and promised us that he will take an action against them and also remove the mobile tower from our area. But till date neither the action is taken nor is the tower removed. We had constantly reminded the past commissioner but we didn't see any actions being taken or tower being removed.

                                Following are the dates at which we reminded the commissioner regarding this matter:

                                3rd May 2010
                                28th June 2010
                                27th July 2010

                                I request you to please look into this matter as soon as possible because we are afraid after hearing this fact of hazards to us. I hope an urgent and positive response from your side.

                                  I am Prof. Vinod R. Malkar, I purchsed Tata- Indicom CDMA 1x USB Modemof No.

                                  Unlimited Use. It Shows Error- 628. Then I contacted Customer care [protected] I am not able to
                                  solve the problem. Then I contacted on [protected], Then they told me
                                  Recharge by Rs.10/- I had done that also, Till the problem is not solved. Then again they told me recharge by rs. 20/- I recharge it by Rs.50/- The Error(678): The Remote Computer did not Respond. To make sure that the server can be reached, ping the remote computer.

                                        This is in reference to the below connections of TATA Indicom Broadband and Landline no:

                                        I had applied for these connections in November 2008 and I have been regularly paying bills since then. The bills were coming in my name. However, since Feb 2010, the bills have been coming in the name of Danobat Group Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd, which has not been brought to my notice till I found out last month.

                                        On pursuing with the customer care, I had found that a mail was forwarded by [protected]@danobatgroup.com to change the name of the connection. I was unaware of this email and hence was not approved by me, the primary account holder. How come the account was shifted without proper verification ?

                                        In August 2010, I have received 2 notices in my name for non-payment of bills Ref No: REM/JUL/M19/0883 & Ref No: REM/JUL/M19/0800. When the name was shifted to the company’s name, how should I be held responsible for non-payment of bills ? It is TATA Indicom, who is at fault for changing the name without proper check on the credentials and the veracity of the email.

                                        I would like TATA Indicom to shift the liability to the company’s name and give me back my original papers and an NOC stating that I am not holding the connection anymore neither will I be liable for any non-payment of bills in future, failing which I have will have to take a stern legal action against TATA Indicom for non-compliance of regulations and file an FIR for fraud, forgery, misrepresentation.
