[Resolved]  Tata Indicom Broadband — Poor service tata broadband connection

Sir i am using tata indicom broadband connection past 5 month my login id [protected]@vsnl. Net
Past 45 days i am facing lot of problem in my broadband connection connection lost for 2 to 3 days continuesly. Even i recieved 26 days of downtime credit for my connection lost from tata broadband connection. And i paid the advance amount for 5 month. Still i am facing the same problem after meeting to the head mr sarvanna & area manager mr. Sarat in chetpet office.

Please suggest me what i have to do for this problem to be rectify even because of this connection lost i loss my many bussiness proposals income.

1 hour or 2 hour is sence but 2 days & 3 days connection lost is totally nonsense. Please help me.

Yes..i totally agree that Tata indicom Broadband is useless..my aunty has been having frequent disconnection for more than one & half months..the technicians are so inefficient that they cant figure out what the problem is..
Instead of making number of complaint & mails they r just not bothered..

Since my aunt's internet is not working, she refused to pay the bill for the last month..so now they hv disconnected the connection..Really frustrating & irritating...

Pl Pl dont get Tata indicom broadband connection at all...
i hav bought this plug to surf 2months ago...its too slow compared wit reliance as well as the bill amount is too high compared to other networks...it has been a great loss for me

Hi, I am Jyoti Raheja from Mulund (E). I have taken a broadband Internet connection from TATA INDICOM on 15th Jul 09.

I am very very disappointed with the service provided to me. I own a TATA landline[protected] in the name of Mrs. ANju Raheja) at my place too.

To start with, pls read the below series of problems/difficulties faced by me post the installation of the connection in just a span of 12 days.

1. The basic error at the company's end, inspite of me opting for the 399-UNLIMITED plan, they installed the 699-UNLIMITED Plan...After repeated calls and follow up to the call centre, the plan finally got transferred to the correct one (i.e 399-UNLIMITED), but not to forget, I have got my 1st bill for a day according to the erroneous plan of 699.Again, I called up to rectify the bill, still no revert.

2. There was some error in the installation process and hence, my TATA landline and the broadband wires got connected to each other, causing disconnection of both the services. I complained again (being a regular feature), got an executive at home, who checked and APPARENTLY rectified the problem, the phone and the Internet still being disconnected, the guy gave an excuse of some copper wire being cut due to which the connection was faulty and not working. 2days passed by, no revert from the guy or any of the company guys.

3. Also, every complaint of mine also refers to the frequent disconnection of the Internet, no fixing has been done to this problem TILL DATE.

4. Specifically, I would like to register a complaint against the TATA executive who did the installation at my place for the Internet connection (Suhas- [protected]).This guy does not have any responsibility towards customer satisfaction. I presume, TATA is a big brand where customer satisfaction should be one of the core values of the organisation. However, I was very disappointed with the service provided by him per se. He had insisted us in contacting him if any problem occurs till the next 15days in the Internet connection, however, inspite of repeated calls, either there is no response from him, or he has ignored the complaints till date.

5. The executive came again, rectified the wire problem and the Internet started working fine (CONGRATULATIONS, this was the 1st day that I surfed the Internet without any hassles for 30min at a stretch and again as explained in point 3 above)

6. The story does not end here, the last problem is quite fresh and recent, as good as yesterday and perhaps the WORST service any sales guy could provide- The great TATA executive, Suhas had come to check for the modem fault and in the process of rectifying the disconnection problem, created a fault in our TATA landline as well and the way he ran away from our place, without any communication as if he must have stolen something and was trying to elope.

I would like to specifically register a complaint against the person named SUHAS, who is not capable of handling any customer service job.

You can imagine after this mail, out of the 12 days, for how much time my Internet connection was actually active?????

I have registered repeated complaints for the same and[protected] is the latest complaint no.received from the call centre.

Please respond to this mail only if you have anything positive to mention against all the negatives quoted in the mail.

I am sorry to state that my walky (Wireless landline) phone no.[protected] was not working sine 26.07.2009 due to some technical problem.No proper response was given by your Vaishali office.After 2 days mental exercise the instrument was handedover to your service centre on 28.07.2009 at Nandpuri, Bais Godam, Sodala, Jaipur.They kept the instrument with them for four days & returned the same after repair on 31.07.2009.They had replaced a memory card(chip) in 4 days.Four such a pity thing your service centre has taken 4 days.More surprising matter is, that the hand set was "ON" on 31.07.2009 but it was not working due to any "PIN" number.I am sorry to state that the said instrument is not working till date due to non submission of "PIN" number by your company/ your service centre.Its an example of worst customer service in any telecom company in India.Your company has taken 5 days in replacement of a small memory chip(card) & now its 4 th day waiting for PIN number.The instrument is still not working eventhough we are following up the matter continuously(on daily basis since 26.07.2009).We have referred the matter many a times to you, your nodal officer, your service centre, your dealer's representative(Manoj) & your Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur office.You are still saying to wait till 06.08.2009.
We have paid Rs 1100/- for instrument to your dealer on 20.03.2009 & the instrument is in warranty period till date.We are suffering daily business loss as well mental harrashment due to your worst service since 26.07.2009.
We have decided that we are not willing to take your services now onward & move to consumer forum/civil court for our Business Loss & mental harrashment.Meanwhile you are requested to arrange to disconnect our services & return our handset cost Rs 1199/- immediately.

TATA Indicom — Complaint not attended

I had been using my tata indicom no [protected] for almost 3 years and was OK with it, till the time i shifted my residence to new place where the indicom network was very worse as well as i was facing numerous problem with the instrument as well. After calling customer care my handset receiver was changed but to no use. I was left to the mercy of tata indicom as i was informed the network is bad and nothing can be done about the same. Since the phone was not usable i stopped using and it was switched off as the battery was not giving the desired talk time. N number of times i had to callup the customer care and had to wait endlessly for my turn. After being fed up i dumped the phone in the corner. Later i started receiving calls from customer care to pay some outstanding, which i was not ready to pay since the phone had not been in use. Later i was given an option to convert the same number to lifetime prepaid for which i had to pay Rs.575/- of my outstanding in cheque and Rs.500/- odd in cash for which i was given a receipt. It is almost more than 2 weeks and i have not received any new instrument of prepaid or anything. Rather i am receiveing mail to pay outstanding of Rs.99/- against my number.

Is this the kind of service and brand name TATA carrys that they cheat a customer for getting a outstanding payment for non usage of phone. I want to know if receipt and everything was provided then why the commitment is not completed.

I urge you to investigate and get justice.

TATA Indicom Broadband — Negligent Behavior from customer care

Hi

With reference to my complaint number 10453518 at Tata Indicom BroadBand

i incurred great amount of inconvenience and damages and expenses due to negligent behavior of Tata Indicom,

on 3rd August i registered the complaint about error "Network Cable unplugged" which was intermittent but surely the reason for unreliable internet connection from my Windows XP operating system.

I requested the operator to send me a engineer and take a look at the system and the connection box and other installed systems by Tata Indicom, however till date no person ever called me or visited my house to verify this.

I needed to make repetitive calls and they kept me on hold for more than 15 minutes, due to which i have to incur lot of expenses.

I also incurred inconvenience and loss as i could not connect to my office network and unable to work from my home on important items which were critical. It also caused mental tension and nervousness, since i am a high blood pressure patient it also affected my health.

I request you to help with my problem and reimburse my losses.

Tataindicom Broadband Connection — Without any information my account has been suspended.

I have one tataindicom broadband connection. I am facing problem in browsing for last 15 to 20 days.
Even though I am giving complains they are not trying to resolve this. Now without informing me they suspended my account on the basis that I didn't pay the bill with in due date. Now I am not able to pay the bill online.They are telling it will take 3 to 4 days. If I am giving the complein about the bill payment they are playing with me.. someone disconnecting the call or different people telling different issues to me.Please tell me how could I get the solution?

My customer complaint no. is 1045 0798 dated 8 Aug 2009 for broadband connection. My user e mail id is [protected]@vsnl.net. Zero initiative is being taken by either vsnl or Tata Broadband in satisfying customers. It goes out of operations very often. Tata Broadband closes customer complaints even without any feedback from the consumer but just on the basis of feedback from their service engineer. Service engineers never go on site and they keep closing customer complaints on their own. We are located at New Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai-400053. Please save us from money making organisations like tata broadband.

TATA Indicom — Very Poor internet connection at the evening time from last one month

I am a customer of Tata Indicom Internet Service. My Tata Indicom No. is: [protected]. Account Number is:[protected] and My Tariff Plan is: VDATA 799 UNLIMITED Plan.

This is very very unfortunate that I am facing lots of problems due to VERY VERY POOR INTERNET CONDITION ON SPECIALLY EVENING TIME of TATA IDICOM Internet Service. Though I have complaint to TATA INDICOM CUSTOMER CARE so many times about this over telephone but the result is ZERO. NO ACTION TAKEN TILL DATE. tata indicom plug2surf internet connction — poor services and harassing me by calling for payments

i have purchased an plug 2 sur[censored]sb internet connection from tata indicom through their executive. their exec come at some my place and asking for new connection but ever product related information he gave was totally different from actual. he told me that u will get a speed of 156 kbps but in actual there is no such speed it is onlt 15kbps and he told me after i made the payment engineer from company will come and check whether network is available at my home or not but in my absence their engineer come and told my wife that network is fine .but when i start using the connection there is no network or it is available for some time and disconnecte again.i had made the payment of 3000 rs already and by their faulty and corrupt system they generated one more bill of 680rs and for that they are calling no. of times to make the payment for the service i never used and harassing me for that. please help me regarding that and i want my money of 3000 rs that i had paid to them and claim of 2 lacs for disrespect talk and irresponsible behaviour.

Tata Indicom Internet Services — The connection is not up

I have taken Tata Indicom Connection. My userid of Tataindicom connection services is [protected]@vsnl.net. On Friday i., e 14th August 2009 early hours at 3:00 A.M, my internet connection is stopped working and I reported to Tata indicom services. They have logged the complaint number and that is 10490498. This hasnt been addressed for more that 4 days and (96 hours) and ignored. I have called them more than 6 times till now but no action. Please take this seriously as I am paying around 1700Rs per month on this connection and I am not treated as I am deserved. Please take severe action on Tata Indicome internet services. Tata Indicom internet service has no technical support although they are charging huge amount

Tata Indicom Broadband — Frequent connectivity disruptions

Ever since I have taken Tata Indicom Broadband connection, hardly there has been a day when I could have browsed without facing connectivity issue. Hoping that connection will sustain for atleast 5 minutes I dared to make online payment using Tata Indicom Broadband connection. Unfortunately my fear came true and connection broke just in the middle while my bank was authorizing the transaction. When it resumed, vendor to whom I was making the payment, prompted me a message saying transcation failed. This is despite the fact that my bank deducted the amount.

Who is at loss? I

When I called up Tata Indicom, they had nothing to say but that it was a problem at customer end...

This is just one instance.

Well, at my house, every instrument (other than my laptop) for this connection is provided by Tata Indicom and still problem is with the customer. Bet, they will never say that a problem is because of something wrong at their end.

Waiting for a day when TRAI or other competent authority will set SLA related penalties on service providers. Since service providers like Tata Indicom know that they can easily get away even if they do not provide service for significant duration and still force customers to pay entire monthly due.

When we are talking of making everything online, it is high time that competent authorities bring in tough rules and penalty clauses to ensure that connectivity provided by service providers is reliable and available for 99.9% time.

TATA Indicom Broadband — Intolerably poor service- unable to access broadband

i had opted to go in for Tata Broadband service from 23 rd june 09 having closed my BSNL acct after 44 years. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service provider as i am unable to access the internet most of the time in spite of lodging several complaints - i personally do not think that A TATA ORGANIZATION would knowingly render such poor service - i have paid the stipulated fees in advance - i regret this, as i am unable to access broadband services 90% of the time - would the concerned authorities actively do something to rectify and ensure satisfactory broadband service henceforth.

I have read above comments on TATA indicom broadband. I had a connection of Tata Indicom 5 years ago. After facing above problems, I switched over to BSNL. Since then, I had only one disconnection, that is also due to a heavy rain here. I[censored] think about broadband go for BSNL.
