Tata Photon Plus — Serious Grievance and cheated by Tata Photon plus team

I have brought Tata Photon Plus from Croma store situated in Obaroi Mall Goregoan.

I gave him Rs 700/- along with all the related document required(As its coming with an offer with Compaq Q series Laptop). After two weeks rigorous follow-up they gave me Tata Photon Plus device.

After that another two weeks over and they havn't activated my connection. After regular follow up with TATA Photon Plus call center, Nodal center and at last with the sales person (who sold the device) say’s there is no Tata network in your locality that’s why your connection is not activated.

My point is
1. If my locality (Kandevili east, Lokhanwada township) does not have Tata network then why these device is sold to me.

2. There is no help I had received from Tata photon call center and nodal center.


The sales per name in Naeem and also Sadique ([protected]) both of them work from Croma Oberoi mall Goregoan

I don’t know what to do now and fill cheated and losing faith from the BRAND –TATA and their team.

2 weeks after purchasing TATA Photon, i had to buy reliance card to post this message. If you have to experience the HELL on the earth, you must try TAta Photon Plus and all this cost you 2500/-.
Ofcourse, there is not only bad things about TFP, couple of good things i must agree that are, the Backpack Bag that comes with connection and time it takes to connect to a customer support agent when you call the tollfree number.
Rest every thing gives you a feel of Horror show. Some of them are:
- transaction issues between distributor and retailer. I had the horror show on day 1 due to this, and shell out some money from my pocket to address this.
- Issues between retailers and company authorised outlets. After 2 weeks of work, my connection is blocked due to this issue and outlet blames it on retailer because some outstanding payment issues.
- TAT for solving problems keeps changing. First some one commits 1 hr, then you end up getting response as 120 hrs as the minimum time to resolve the issue. Now today is 5th day my card is still not working.
- Company claims that they take no responsibility for cards sold out side their offices. Then i don't understand why there are many retailers are selling the cards.
- Coverage is a big problem. The response from customer support is you must sit right below the Tata Tower to get good output.

I am also the tata photon plus customer and I am also facing the network issue from last 2 months and complaint 4 to 5 times but every time the customer care person advise me a lot to remove your antiviros and other stufs, after many complains they told me the engineer will visit to your home and I have recieve a call from engineer but after one week they do not come to check the problem and when I tried to confirm my complaint number that was showing in close status. I can not trust on Tata photon plus and I think Tata photon is worst in use not for use.

I too have lost faith in the name called TATA, this is the right time to say TATA to all the products of TATA. I had bought Lenovo Laptop, i got photon plus connection with that, i had to pay 750 i paid and the sales executive asked me for the docs, i gave all what he wanted to start the connection, he started the connection but after a week, it was disconnected, saying that verification negative, how can they do it, nobody came to my house and meet me, my office work got stucked because of that, anyways i requested them to restart my connection they again demanded the same docs, i again gave the document after three days and many several requests they started my connection, that time i was feeling that i am a begger and asking for TATAs connection and i dont have any option, the company literally screwed my head, for the entire 15 days, my life was disturbed becasue of TATA, they started my connection but again after 5 to 6 days, they disconnected i got to know when i called the customercare dept, that i ahd tomake the payment of 1300/- damn i hardly used the connection for a week, they raised an amount of 1300/- i said let me have my bill first then i ll make payment they were rigid they said unless u make the payment we are not gonna start the connection, i felt like i am trapped and duped by TATA, anyways i made online payment of 1000/- rupees, and then my connection started in the evening hours, but this is not the end, when i logged in again the same night, i found that it was disconnected again, it was a limit of besharmi, i called up customercare it was 9th complaint of mine, the Customer care Officer told me that your docs are negtive, damn then i relaised that TATA has started earningmoney like this, idont know but i felt completely cheated.. i shouted at the customer care officer, but then it was of no use. i spoke to customer care next day also, then i filed a comlaint of mine to customercareemail id, then some one called me after two days, saying that we are working on ur prob, after four days, the cutomer care executive emailed me saying that by10th July 2011 ur prob will be resolved, then on 11th got a phone from one executive saying that because of our Mistake your verifaction for the second time got deleted from the system you have to give us fresh documents again, we will restart ur net.. I letrally denied to him saying that even i[censored] r offering free connection to me i will not go for it. I prefer paying more amout but i wont comeback to TATA..
I have a suggestion for u all, dont trust the brand, trust the services, TATA it doesnt mean Good, there are many companies offering good and fast services, Now i am using airtel and mts both..

Hi

I was using tata photon number -[protected] and I got call from customer care to change my bill plan, I denied changing my bill plan. After that I got bill with outstanding amount 5056 from feb 2014 to feb 2015.
I raised concern to customer care about this issue but they are not able to solve this issue. I didn’t pay this amount and my service was stopped by you. I sent mail to customer care to cancel my tataphoton and send me feb outstanding to pay. They just sent me cancellation message.
Now they are asking me to pay 5056 amount period from feb 2014 to feb 2015. This is very Ridiculous and illegal.

Request you concern athority to take action this type of illegal things
