[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Withdrawal of a Govt DD Podhigai tamil channel

yes i do agree, withdrawal of DD podhigai very bad that too on festival days .Still most of the people are watching DD podhigai and good no of programs coming in podhigai.DD podhigai to be restored immediately

The channel DD PODHIGHAI is available. Tatasky has made few changes with the DD channels. Few channels have been replaced in Active Doordarshan and other channels are added to the list.
Here are the changes made. Channels added (full screen)
DD BHARTI 157
RAJYA SABHA 512
GYAN DARSHAN 571
DD URDU 898

Channels removed from fullscreen and added in Active Doordarshan
DD GUJARATI
DD PODHIGHAI
DD PUNJBI
DD KASHIR
so the channel DD PODHIGHAI is in the Active Doordarshan pack.

South Indians are totally disappointed to note that tata sky has unilaterally Converted DD PODIGAI CHANNEL WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INFORMATION.
We had taken tatasky connection because we thought it will be professional and customer service oriented. But it is not so. Please note that tata sky cannot suddenly convert a channel without our prior approval as we have taken connection for a particular package under which DDPOTHIGAI IS COVERED on a full screen.
Tata sky’s action of sudden conversion of this channel without any of our approval is highhandedness and totally unethical.
We are not even able to view the channel properly.Tata sky is assuming that nobody is watching DDPODIGAI. Why can’t Tata Sky add in some other channel into ACTIVE Doordarshan?

on what basis have tata sky decided to move DD PODIGAI to Active Dooradarshan?
They have taken their customers for granted.

It is surpricing that sans any communication Podigai was taken off and it is expected from a reputed Tata Company..Image damage to repair on priority by the company

Man ma grand parents have come & they like DD Podigai.
