Tata Sky connection and the
person who handed over the
Tata sky box, took the full payment on 3rd of Aug 09 and made a phone call acting as if the
Tata Sky technicians woud be at my home in 15 mins. I was impressed. However these 15 mins actually took 3 days of persual, starting from soft and ending up in harsh phone calls, to get the dish installed. The so called expert activated the connection, which got deactivated in another one day as the dealer had not put in the his share of 800/- RS. into my account of
TATASKY. Till date - i.e 12 Aug 09 dealer has not been able to upload the money into my account blaming the
Tata Sky system down, Jammu Bandh, Bank closure like excuses which has nothing to do with this.Eventually the issue turned out that he had to deposit cash with the main centre of
Tata Sky. Moreover he went to deposit the money to the main branch only when I went to his shop and told him that I will not budge till he does the needful. Even after that nearly 18 hours have passeed but
Tata Sky's system has not been fixed or my Digicomp is still deactivated. This dealer is Ravent Communication in Janipur - Jammu . Lousiest part of the entire deal is
Tata Sky's regional centre Chandigarh. I call, them up and give them my international and National credit card nos. to charge up my account irrespective of the fact if the dealer is not able to do it let me pay from my pocket. Unfortunately, all 3 card transactions failed. I don't know if
Tata Sky System is faulty or
Indian Railways of some piddly Petrol Pump in Jammu are better where my cards work in one go. I am ashamed of the customer service of these lousy service providers in Jammu and India. Moreover I just think that in this era where India is a leading economy, telecom software / service provider, biggest telecom vendors worldwide, still the service industrs is in Shams. At every level there are excuses. And I think some wise man once said that - EXCUSES ARE NAILS USED TO BUILD HOUSES OF FAILURES
It shold not be a major problem you sholud call tata sky helpdesk and they will definitly resolve your issue.
