i have a tata sky connection. my sub id is [protected].since it has not been working properly .. when we open tv with setup box it open any channel for 3second after that tv screen show message "DVB SSU MMIV Loader..plz take immediate action as soon as possible .

It shold not be a major problem you sholud call tata sky helpdesk and they will definitly resolve your issue.

    Hello I am Iqbal singh dhillon, I bought a LG Lcd 26 From Punia Electronocs, Sri Ganganagar.in July 2009, according to the offer they provided me a coupon to get a free DTH connection of Tata Sky Airtel from Spectramind Marketing Pvt Ltd, Noida. For that you have to send the duly filled coupon, Bar code cutout from the TV carton, photocopy of the original bill and DD of Rs.99. I send them everything on 3 Aug 2009, through speedpost.
    I Now its been more than 15 days I have not received my DTH Connection Set top box yet, and when I try to call them now the phone line [protected] is always busy.

    I think one should not be panic about it. I think they work slow as they have many customers. Even me I did wait for a month and I did receive the setbox through courier. But dont know what to do next. May be they would come with setbox. I dont know. Well when I did contact today before I receive the setbox they told me that I would receive soon for sure and that I need to call the engineer. But confused which engineer. Anyway they are trying their best. But its lousy symstem they are making to get connected. They dont even call or message. they make customers worry whether they are true to their work or fraud. Any way Iqbal honey u will get your setbox soon. buy
    Dont worry Iqbal. Jst keep calling to them, they will respond to u. In the past 2 days I did call them at least 30 times, it used to be voicemail and busy. At last around 2pm I managed to talk with one of the customer care. He assured me and I received the setbox through courier around 3pm, most probably they had already dispatched as I received a call from courier service around 9:30am which was a surprise call. I wondered who might have sent me parcel. Hence I thought earlier that spectramind people would come with all these things and connect it. Any way have faith on them now.

    I don't know why they don't treat customers with such offer.

      I'm facing alot of problems with Tata sky

      Before two years, I was viewing television through local cable network for 10 years. Services given by local cable operator were good. If any problem occurs, local cable operator repair the fault with 2 hours due to personal relation with him. Before two years, My father-in-law advised me to install tata sky for better video and audio quality.
      I am having tata sky for last 2 years without any problems and I am happy with audio/video...

      I had suscribed for one year from 18/10/08 and paid Rs 3050/-. But it has been disconnected on 15th August. Normally most of the private companies do similar unethical business. The local dealer does not listen. The call centre[protected] of tata sky is silent after one beep.

      Such business will not take Tata sky any where.

        I keep getting 3 sms everyday sent from TATASKY connections. It reads like this (Save!!! up to Rs 300 when you buy a tatasky connection for RS 1400 call [protected]) This number is in Pune and i live in Bangalore It is very irritating to keep getting sms like this. I have also complained to my service provider that is vodafone who tells me that that they can only block this number, although i have registerd for dnd and dnc it just does not seem to work. I feel that the govt is making a mockery of itself by allowing such customers to bother the general public. They would take an action only when it is been sent to some of the top officials in the country. It is not one but 3 every day.

        If your phone number is listed on National Do Not Disturb list, you can launch a complaint with the cell phone service provider.

          My Subscriber id is available upon request if someone wants to do any checkup. I took a Tata Sky connection and the person who handed over the Tata sky box, took the full payment on 3rd of Aug 09 and made a phone call acting as if the Tata Sky technicians woud be at my home in 15 mins. I was impressed. However these 15 mins actually took 3 days of persual, starting from soft and ending up in harsh phone calls, to get the dish installed. The so called expert activated the connection, which got deactivated in another one day as the dealer had not put in the his share of 800/- RS. into my account of TATASKY. Till date - i.e 12 Aug 09 dealer has not been able to upload the money into my account blaming the Tata Sky system down, Jammu Bandh, Bank closure like excuses which has nothing to do with this.Eventually the issue turned out that he had to deposit cash with the main centre of Tata Sky. Moreover he went to deposit the money to the main branch only when I went to his shop and told him that I will not budge till he does the needful. Even after that nearly 18 hours have passeed but Tata Sky's system has not been fixed or my Digicomp is still deactivated. This dealer is Ravent Communication in Janipur - Jammu . Lousiest part of the entire deal is Tata Sky's regional centre Chandigarh. I call, them up and give them my international and National credit card nos. to charge up my account irrespective of the fact if the dealer is not able to do it let me pay from my pocket. Unfortunately, all 3 card transactions failed. I don't know if Tata Sky System is faulty or Indian Railways of some piddly Petrol Pump in Jammu are better where my cards work in one go. I am ashamed of the customer service of these lousy service providers in Jammu and India. Moreover I just think that in this era where India is a leading economy, telecom software / service provider, biggest telecom vendors worldwide, still the service industrs is in Shams. At every level there are excuses. And I think some wise man once said that - EXCUSES ARE NAILS USED TO BUILD HOUSES OF FAILURES

            Sir, iam usung Tata sky service, during monsoon the signal is lost many times and for days i have to keep making complaints. now they say the set-top-box is faulty and will cost me 350 to replace and this is normal during monsoons. the tata servise engineer came and fixed the set-top-box and said that this is a defect in the box but i he said i have to pay Rs. 350 anyways! i said why? if it is manufacturing defect? he said company policy! then after arguing he said ok as good customer he will not charge. but then next day the charges of Rs. 350 has already been cut from the prepaid amount!!! why?. The reason i purchased the service is because sales pitch was the service will work in any weather anytime compared to cable tv. i now realize cable tv better in monsoon, although not clear picture but atleast it is working.

              I have installed Tata Sky in last month. But there is signal failure from last 20 days. i have lodged complaints for 2-3 times engineer came and doing somthing . it will work for 1 hr and again got message of No Signal on screen. I am very much fedup with this . they are not respoding properly. they are giving telephone nos of engineer but neither will pick the phone. Today also My Tata Sky is not working.

              Pl do needful and provide me the valid telephone no. of any senior officer customer care.

              Dear sir, i think this website is a waste of time...
              am complaining you about BAD SERVICE AND RESPONSE FROM TATASKY. but nothing is changing. i just dont know why you people are so weak. the whole indian government system is like this. when you have this website and accepting our complaints then why you are not acting on it.???? If you are little intrested about your work and if you really want to help the consumer then please please help me. My tata sky ID is [protected]. am not able to watch star one, star plus, zee, sony etc channels from last 20 days.even after paying the full money for it. when i call the customer care officer, they said i should give 350rs for the technical service provider. even if nothing is wrong in my digicomp or LNB.
              but suddenly on 01 february these channels came. and the next day again the same problem. i had erlier complained you about this but nothing is changed. so please help me to get rid of this problem.
              got tatasky installed thinking it to be the best which came out to be worst in case of reception. there is always a signal problem and after a complaint the engineer finally manages to make it after 2days and when the problem is solved and even in very little rains there is no signal. And when we complain this to a senior executive asking for the refund as i do wish to continue i get a reply from Mr. Sumeet saying that its your wish and that i get refund of only balace paid and not the settop box and i also been suggested to gift it to someone my box. this is no way to speak to a customer. if this goes on than i am sorry i have to do something serious about it.
              Please do the needful as soon as possible or i have to get my complain registered & solved somewhere else.

              TataSky — Bad customer service

              I have shifted to my new flat and asked tatasky to shift the connection. The local engineer came & install the minidish in a wrong position where the waste pipeline was suppose to pass. then the Building plumber contractor asked us to change the position of the minidish by 1 ft. I had already paid Rs.350 for this relocation service. Then again I spoke to the Tatasky associate about this issue, they said they will again charge Rs.350. I asked for some concession as its their engineer's fault for neglecting this pipeline issue. taking out 700/- in a week for putting 4 screws is not worth. so thinking of discontinue with Tatasky.

              High time TATA start living to your name!

              Tata a huge name worldwide, on assurance of being one of the prestigious brands we took a connection of Tata Sky.
              For 3 years we paid the bill in time made all recharges. On Saturday November 2010 my connection had some problem and I made a complaint.
              Till now no one has called me back to find what the problem is? Every day I call the hopeless call center people who tell me that we cannot solve your problem as we have no set top box.

              TATA Sky has not even bothered to know if my set top box need a change or it is only a minor technical issue. Only to save their paid trip they neither call back nor tell us a solution. All these insensitive people tell us is that we will not charge for the days that you cant watch Tata sky.

              They will only tell us we will resolve it. If you ask when they say we do not know if you ask reimburse the money, they say NO. If you tell them give me in writing, they say NO.

                I am a subscriber of TataSky (DTH) service for the past 10 months (Subscriber ID [protected] and regd. mob. no. [protected]) My Set top Box is defective for the past one week. They were willing to provide me immidiate service with some high charges but when I told them that my Set top Box is under warranty, they have started makind various excuses. As I have two Set Top Boxes (as two independent connections), they have stopped all services on my second set also (I dont know if it is a punishment to lodge a complaint during warranty period). I shall be highly thankful to you if helped. Indeed at present I am so fed up with their services that I do not want it any longer. If you can help me for unistallation of their DTH service and re-imbursing a valid amount, please do it.

                  I am using tata sky Disc Tv for last 8 month, Now i am relocate tata Sky from new place for this the charge called by tata sky is 350. Service engg. came in my home and say some small part also changed and total charge become 600/- I agree this charge. But Tata Sky deduct 1000/- Rs. and he say i am install new Disc. While Disc are Old and i am already paid 8 month ago.

But Instead of applying it as the previledged annual offer, you have been deducting Rs. 260 from the amount I paid till now, thereby causing me loss., although we had informed Tata sky about the annual payment made.

                    I have recharged my TATASKY account on 7th July'09 for Rs.6, 000/- through TATASKY scrape coupons. After rechaging, the date of expirey extended to 15th Apr'09 with a balance of arround Rs.5, 970/- as on 7th Jul'09. On 9th July'09, received a mesage on screen infoming abount the addition of "Jumbo Pack" for which i have never called or informed to their customer care or by any other means to add this package because it was already subscribed my me and the amount was alreday deducted by them way back. After doing this trick by them, the re-charge date reduced to 20th Feb'09 with a balance of only arround Rs.920/- only. I called to their customer care on the same day i.e. 9th July'09, they informed me that the request for addition of Jumbo pack is being received through their website and now they cannot reverse this transaction. I am helpless to explain them that i have never ever visited TATASKY website but they are not ready to listen my voice. To me it is a fraud being done by TATASKY. Would request you to please help me out.

                    Tata Sky — Fraud Packages

                    Hello sir,

                    I would like to complain about the fraud packages provided by Tata Sky. We had bought the set-top box worth Rs. 3500+Rs 1000 for 3 months of subscription about 18 months back. We chose to take the pack with all the channel called Jumbo Pack - later on they added few more channels and said we need to pay more to watch those channels. That still made some sense since it could be company discretion to give some channels in a particular package. But in my package we had all the sports channel - other then Neo - including ESPN, Star Sports, Ten Sports. All of a sudden they have gone off air for my package without any intimation. Now they want us to pay Rs 75 Per month for the same channels. This is simply not fair trade practice. They are trying to make money on the hook since we have paid INR 3500 and it is not easy to switch since i loose the money on the set top box.

                    Seek your help with appropriate action against such fraud packages.
                    I totally Agree with you Ajay. Even I too had same issue. these guys spend most of their time in thinking how best we can cheat customers and suck more money no matter whether it is ethical or not who cares. the laws in india are also too weak to take any action against this fraud tata sky. moreover there is nobody who hears our voice.

                    tata sky recharge schemes are totally fraudelent.They deduct the balance without any notice and there is no method in deducting the balance.The customer care says whatever they want and is totally illogical/rude.My balance came down from Rs 900 to Rs -359 in just a months time.I had subscribed to Super Saver Pack(Rs 270 a month) plus 2 sports packages.Is it possible for my balance be reduced from Rs 900 to Rs -359 in a months time with the above packages.I don't think its an ethical company.The company is a money making fraud with no rationale in their package structuring.Will discontinue from this fraud tata sky very soon.

                    Very true, Tata sky customer service sucks big time, every time you call they say it will be resolved within 24 hours that is the standard training they get, if you insist on speaking to the supervisor, he will obviously be busy and you will be told that he will call back in another two to three hours which will never come. Amir Khan is a great actor and has an amazing talent, however to see that he is associated with Tata sky is really a great question mark... is it that he will do any thing if he is given money????????? Does he not check out the reviews of Tata sky before ?????????? Anyways I guess he knows best and of course money talks ...

                      From last 2 months i am calling tata sky nagpur office n pune call centre for getting a 2nd setup @ my house but think that they r not taking me seriously.can u please take me seriously and look in to this matter. when ever i call they say the shall send the engineer in 24 hrs but ????? . n in nagpur office i dont knw who the miss / mrs is she keeps on making fun of my call then ever i call. i can give the number to u [protected]. not only @ home but v hv tata sky tv @ our office. yesterday they said they shall send some 1 soo took a leave from my office n stayed @ home. in the evening i again called n found out their engineers were busy. dont u people hv decency of calling the customer n tell u wont make it?

                        Tatasky is a settelite television service. We have been using Tatasky for last 3 years with generally good results but during monsoon most of the time it does not work as they have a problem with their technology. Even after repleted complaint at their call center, no one responsibly attaining to the complaints and improve the situation. They also have increased their charges so much compared to the cable operator and still this type of irrresponsible service is being provided by them

                        Myself Mohanan B., and my subscription ID is [protected]. We are not able to view any of the regional signals viz. Malayalam, Tamil etc. in our Tatasky from the evening of[protected]. Tried to call Customer Care No. [protected] & [protected] several times but there is no answer or they are not speaking. Issue not solve by 10.00 am today. Please resolve problem immediately as also direct the Customer Care people to attend the call of customers.

                          This is to inform you that since more than two months the Zee Gujarati Channel is not shown in TataSky. While others are showing. This is ridiculous that you are bound to show this channel as per your prior commitments. Since we have paid annual subscription in advance kindly refund our money from may 2009. If not then we will take you to various consumer protection council and send you legal notice. Also we will write to various blogs. If we want to add one channel you charge for it but you drop, you don’t pay back. What is this? I want answer of this problem within three days.

                            I was just told by your customer service agent Tina that I cannot ask for a reminder to continue or discontinue my subscription of Star Sports at the end of 30 days.
                            You can send me sms on showcase reminders but you cannot send me a reminder to me. I strongly believe this is a discriminatory practice as your system is capable of sending sms to RMNs but you want to use it only to promote your service and not to give consumers the option of being reminded whether he wants to continue his subscription for add-on or not.
                            Please understand that a non satisfactory action from you will lead me to TRAI.

                              Every time it rains, or even is cloudy, there is no signal.
                              Tata say that they are providing latest technology from UK.
                              I have never heard of or seen any loss of signal owing to rain in UK.
                              In Kolkata, the monsoon lasts for many months.
                              This means Tata is charging rent for providing 50% service.
                              IS THIS CHEATING OR NOT?
                              ALL KOLKATANS AND ALL PERSONS AFFECTED BY TATASKY DISHONESTY UNITE AND FIGHT!

                              Rain outage is an technology issue. It rains very lightly in UK not like the rains in India. Also, this happens with other DTH providers like Big TV, Dish TV, Tata Sky etc.. So no point in blaming Tata Sky. All DTH providers face this issue.
                              They realy are cheaters and fraud, they have added Jumbo Package on my ID without my permission and deducted heavy amount from my account not only this they have also reduced the recharging date ny 2 months.

I receive call 25/06/2009 evening Mr. Avinash no. is [protected] He say This disk Rs. 1999 one month free subscribed channel .I not agree then he say if you use credit card and buy this dish at once then I give Two month free all Hindi channel . I agree and book disk use credit card using Phone banking. After 26/06/2009 disk installation I see channel but not available Hindi channel (Colours.NdTV imagine). I told installation person this channel not available they give customer care number and disk not return. I talk customer care but they not agree.

                                  I think you must have misunderstood. If you buy on the phone, you get a discount whatever is due. I don't think it is all channels. I think you should call customer services and sort it out.
