    after recharge on switching on the setup box and tv at times ther is a blank screen or it states please wait initalising.omplaint lodged on 09/10/2010 vide complaint no 1-[protected] reminder given on[protected] twice but no response. it seems the culture and promptness with the famed ratan tata group is going with par with others wo do not heed to complaints.

    i do agree with you sir, even i am not getting no signals since last three days and help line gets disconnected now and then, this TATA people are worst in services and i have made a mistake buying the same. dont buy tata sky i strongly recommend instead just cable is nice. further tata stops running in rainy seasons when we are indoor and are not in position to watch the tv. bhavesh bhatt

      I have a Tata Sky DTH connection since Oct 2007. In apr 2010 I purchased a second set top box on the same subscriber Id [protected] . In the last week of Sept the new Digicomp began to hang and was reset as per instrs of the online tech support. On 3 rd Oct 2010 my new Digicomp stopped powering on and remained on standby mode. I logged a call on 4 th Oct and recd an SMS -
      "Your Tata Sky request ref WO No: 1-[protected] is scheduled on[protected]:20 hrs. For any further assistance, our service team can be contacted on [protected]."
      When I dialed the given no. I was told the service center is closed down. Next day someone called and when I asked him to come at 6 pm ( as I was at work) he flatly refused despite my telling him that this would be reported to Tata Sky Helpdesk. This did not seem to bother himand no one turned up. Today is 8th Oct and I hav recd 3 more such calls onthe 6thand the 7th and the third this morning committing to reach my residence by 6 pmbut no one turns up. As per the Tata Sky terms the complaints are to be attended within 48 hrs max and here on the fifth day no service.
      1. My warrant is not being honored.
      2. The subscription charges are conveniently being debited for a dead Digicomp!

      Can I get some justice here please.
      I have a same complaint and there is inordinate delay ib attending to replacement of faulty digicomp unit of my residence.

        hi ,

        the permanent symbols that come over tata sky screen are the message button and the code

        IRRRITATION CAUSED BY MESSAGE BUTTON

        since it flashes again and again , on top it causes interruption in viewing , and many times u cant read the full news scrolling on top .
        also th e procedure to remove that icon is very hectic and people have to follow a long procedure to remove it , also it takes time upto 30-40 seconds to be removed
        AND THE BEST PART IS
        when you remove it , it comes again after some time , and you repeat the same procedure

        i think tata sky has found a good method to make learn people , how to fight irritation :) : )

        i think the people from other DTH services are giving money to tata sky people , to flash the code button again and again , everywhere they like on screen , to prevent viewing of any kind of program or news .so to de-motivate the people to watch TV :) : )

          I had install Tatasky 8 month before, my Customer ID is [protected]

          I am facing problem of no signal from 31-sept, I had made several complain & call on customer care, but I am not getting satisfy answer,

          My complain is that I have getting problem of no signal, engineer came to house told me that relocation has to been done, but for that I will be charged, I told engineer that I haven’t install tatasky, nor there is any abstract in front of tatasky dish not I have relocate the dish with my men, than why should I pay for this, thatwise I am sending my complain in writing.

          I am receiving call from tatasky , they just ask me for money, when I say no for money, they just cut the phone & update the system saying customer will not pay relocate charges,

          I have talk to Mr Amit, Mr Bhagat Mrs Palavi & Mr Omkar regarding this matter and last talk was with sachin tikole, sachin told me that I have to pay the charges else nothing will happen

            I am an old customer of Tatasky and wished to take additional connection
            ( customer ID : [protected] ). Dealer at Pilani M/s Manoj Traders, Nehru Place, Pilani sold me a Digicomp and sent online message to Tatasky for installation. The Engineer from Jhunjhunu, Mr. Mahesh of Tatasky, Experience Zone, Khemi Sati Road, opp. old bus stand,Ph:[protected], Mobile No: [protected], ( c/o Mr. Hira Lal Mobile No: [protected] ) came for installation on 26th Sept., 2010 , refused to install the digicom sold by Dealer at pilani, installed the one which he brought with himself which had a broken remote taped with all letters unreadable and said that company had packed it that way. When I refused to accept, he insisted that I take as he has installed and asked for payment which I refused as I had already paid for the digicom sold to me by Manoj Traders, Pilani and called the Dealer at Pilani. On insistance of the dealer at Pilani , who talked to his superior, he took back the digicom with broken remote, just connected the one sold by the Manoj Traders, Pilani without connection and also damaged the existing videocon DTH connection and its dish out of position, which he had disturbed as teh cable he brought ws not of enough length. I had to call another cable operator, next day to fix the problem with an added expense of Rs. 300/- and extensive mental harrassment by the engineer Mr. Mahesh from tatasky Jhunjhunu branch. Though I tried calling the helpline number
            [protected] ,none of them even lifted the phone nor called back. After persistant calling , I was able to talk to the customer service centre on 28th Sept., 2010 and received an indifferent response and the call was shifted from one person to another over 3-4 minutes. This incident has caused a severe mental stress for about 4-5 hours on 25th Sept., 2010 caused by Mr. Mahesh, Engineer of Tatasky from Jhunjhunu and additional expense of Rs. 300/- for rectifying the damage done by him. Should not tatasky be held responsible for recruiting such service people ? Someone may kindly answer my agony.

            1.once sold -no services
            2.once package upgraded -no chance to witdrawl
            3. no response on helpline - just transfer of lines

              Hi,

              I have been using Tata sky for more than 2 years. Recently i wanted to add Neo sports and Neo cricket channels to my package (Sports Gold pack). Previously the company used to offer monthly rentals for the same. Recently the company changed its policy by offering a monthly package, but stipulating that the package could not be dropped for a minimum of 120 days (3 months). This essentially means that i have to pay money for 3 months even though i want to view that particular channel only for a month.

              The change in the policy by the company is allowing the company an unjust enrichment at the expense of the consumer like me.

                I have been a subscriber of TATA SKY since its early days. I was happy with your services initially. However the quality of service that you have been providing have deteriorated in every aspect ranging from technical, quality of the products and customer service. I was about to switch from Tata Sky to a different provider a few months back and I had infact sent you a mail with regard to the same. One of the main reasons why I am forced to send a mail once again is because of the nauseating quality of service that I encountered with one of your call centre representatives yesterday night. The remote of the set-top-box failed for the second time last December and it was replaced on[protected]. It has been hardly one year since I have been using the new remote and the it has failed once again for the third time. I am sure of the fact that I have not dropped the remote even once and there is not even a single scratch on it. Moreover it has been sparingly used as I have been out of my house for on-site work most of the time. I just wonder how you provide such low quality products to the customers. I feel this is the strategy of your company to make money out of customers by providing such low quality spares to the customers. “MAKE MONEY BY PENALISING THE CUSTOMERs” and at last blame it on the customer for the way it is being used.

                I spoke to one of your representatives named ABHINAY yesterday. It is very evident from the conversation I had with him that these people are not properly trained even on the basic telephone ethics which need to be followed on a call. At last I was successful in making him understand what exactly was the issue that I was facing and he promised me that a supervisor would get in touch with me within two hours for which the request number 1-[protected] has been raised. It’s now been more than 14 hours since the request was placed and I have not yet received any call from anyone at Tata Sky. I have now made up my mind to migrate to another provider. I do not want to be a part of the company who do not care for their customers. Also each time when there was a software update for the Digicomp the response from the box has become slower every time. One of my colleagues SUNIL.B.S whom I referred to purchase Tata Sky has switched from Tata sky to another provider only because the Digicomp had to be replaced barely 13 months after the installation. Even in terms of channels provided the other DTH providers in India offer a wide range than Tata Sky. In this context I would like to question the SUPERBRANDS COUNCIL on what context was Tata Sky recognized as a Super brand for the year[protected]. Were the customers contacted by the Super brands council before taking such a decision to award Tata Sky with such a recognition. I was and I am a lifelong customer of the Tata Sky who is not happy with the services for the past two years. It is HYPOTHETICAL for such a reputed council to recognize Tata Sky as a Super brand. I would not believe or accept any reason which would explain to me that Tata Sky has maintained the highest standards of product integrity and brand development. I would be more than happy and willing to accept it as a Super brand if they have at least made some efforts to win consumer trust. Vikram Kaushik appeared in front of the customers through Tata Sky appealing and requesting its customers to stay on with the brand and help them improve their services. Such acts by a person who is leading a company does not make any sense to make it a Super brand when nothing substantial has been done to satisfy the customers. I placed a request yesterday for the remote to be replaced for which the reference number is 1-[protected]. It is been almost 11am now and I have not received any call from Tata Sky. This shows how negligent the company is when it comes to their customers. The CEO claims that they have a strong base of over 5 million customers and if this is the kind of attitude the company has towards its customers, then without any doubt the customer base which you enjoy now will slowly erode to your competitors. A new connection is being provided by you now for just Rs.999/-. I have paid more than thrice to get the connection when I installed it and now you want me to spend an average of Rs.350/- every 6 to 8 months as recurring expenditure for the Digicomp and remote. With the new pricing it is very clear that Tata Sky is pushing for subscriber acquisition while the company has no plans in place for customer retention. No company can be successful in the long run without caring for its existing customers. You are now losing me as your life-time customer and in this context I would like to remind Mr.Vikram Kaushik and the new CEO designate Harit Nagpal that it is easy to retain a customer like me while it is extremely difficult to get a new life-time customer for you.

While contacting the customer call, the call was not responded causing tension and unnecessary billing for telephone. the TATA sky plan is always COSTLY comparing other dish tv services.                     I had been rxing problem with the tatsky services for the last 10 day . I had registered my complaint along with the service request both on the customer care help desk as well as on the tatasky home page twice with all the details but after the assurance from call center staff, no engineer had turned up till now to look into the issue. Mentioned below are the details of the same.

                        Since the month of July we have had a poor reception /signal as soon as the rains began. After regular follow ups at the Tata Sky Call center and online complaint on www.tatasky.com on 21st August 2010 we were promised an engineer visit free of charge as they acknowledged that the fault is from their end. We received three calls by different executives asking us for a repeated explanation about the issue and confirming the visit of the engineer FOC.

                        The Engineer never visited. And post that we kept trying to follow up with the Call Center no. and it was continuously non responsive, even after waiting for 4-5 minutes and we could not establish contact with them. On Sep 20, 2010 after waiting for 8-9 min on hold an executive responded. She said we did receive the complaint but it was cancelled without us saying anything so. I requested to arrange another visit, on which she said it will be Rs. 350. After multiple reiterations that the fault is on their end and they should charge for it when they promised and not delivered. Her supervisor was stern, pushy and refused to budge on the charges.


                        Tata Sky’s quality of reception as well as promptness has deteriorated. On every instant that they get they increase subscription charges. The governments idea to introduce DTH was to protect consumers from the menace of Cable Operators and standardized charges. But the scenario seems the complete opposite and they keep inflating prices without any heck and cause. I think they are charging for Amir Khan’s fee and heavy advertising. And new channel added always a new banquet asking for money. While others in the competition may be equally priced but definitely provide better service as we used Airtel for 3-4 months and were happy with the quality.

                        I would lastly recommend consumers to carefully choose their DTH operator and trust me be were better off with the Cable Wala’s personalized service, value for money delivery.
                        Please guide us how can we file a case in the consumer court and ask for a refund for the 2 DTH boxes we invested Rs. 8000 for and harassment that we underwent.

                          Tata Sky — deactivation of services with illegal allegation

                          I have brought the tata sky connection on 14 sep 2006 by paying all the chargesin cash total rs.4549/=
                          through SHARAD ELECTRICALS HARDOI[U.P.].
                          Sceond digicomp purchase fom A.S. AGRWAL [SAMSUNG SHOWROOM]. dated19 oct. 2007.
                          after two month at 18 dec.2007 eve. my both digicom services are disconnected .
                          after that I repeated complaints 10 times[spending 250 rs. on calls] to their call centre has yielded no results.[comp. no.[protected]]
                          today i know from your suprvisor miss. MEGHNA saying that my connection I.D.[protected] is Black listed??? very G..O..O..D!!
                          What is your intellegent way to detected that? tell to bush use to search laaden..
                          I deeply disturbed by this incident , discouraging me to recommended TATA SKY to anybody.

                          Tata Sky — Unsatisfactory Service

                          I have purchased a connection of Tata Sky on 1st jan, 2008 adn Credit Card purchase Txn # [protected] for Rs 3999/- I was told I would receive the set top box in 4/5 working days I have received the box only after 9 days and now I need the same to be installed and the Tata Service keeps promising everyday I call and they promise to install the same and they do not turn up.

                          All I get is a request nbr when I call the tata Sky call centre. Request nbr 1-[protected]. I only have managed to get a subscriber ID nbr so far which is[protected]. Pathetic serivice of Tata Sky.

                          Tata Sky — Unethical behavior in package purchase

                          We had purchased two Tata Sky connections from Hari Om Electronics, on 1st Jan, with the understanding that 6 months monthly subscription of Lifestyle Gold package is free on the purchase.The dealer also had advices that we pick 2500 recharge as that had 200 rupee additional value and we would not have to pay for another 3 months, hence 9 months Lifestyle Gold package would be free on the account.

                          We noticed since 1st March, that the Lifestyle Gold channels have been cut off, and when We called Tata Sky customer care for rectification, they indicated that we were sold base package - which is a big surprise and understanding given to us. Till date neither the dealer not the installation nor any documentation shared this input/understanding and it differed completly to what we picked.

                          When we logged a complaint , we were asked to wait for a day and we had a conf call with dealer and customer care. The dealer agreed that he had sold the maximum channels package to us.
                          Now Customer care is backing out, after wasting a long time with us, they are asking us to ask the dealer to compensate. While the dealer backed out over the phone itself saying its the company - if they dont educate the dealer correctly why should the dealer be put in picture.

                          We would appreciate a quick resolution as it feels like a customer
                          harrasment and its already taken a lot of energy and time with no
                          solution coming out.
                          TATASKY and the DTH technology in India is ridden with bigger cheats than the cable wallahs.When they first came to India-advertising that you should rid youself of the cable 'goons', I never realised that we would have to fall prey to the handsof national mafia named the 'TATASKY'. After all TRAI and the authority have not fixed any celing on the charges/channels etc, so the DTH operators have taken customers for a ride with not just their poor service(no signal during rains etc) but also with their overcharged 'packages'.

                          Tata Sky — Dropping Channels

                          Sir,

                          Tata sky dropped two malayalam channels without any notice. I have taken tatasky because they were offering handfull of Malayalam channels and suddenly they dropped two.

                          When I complained, the response I got was not that from a professional company like TATA, but as if from some third class companies.

                          When they have dropped the channels, they should either,
                          1. reduce the monthly charge,
                          2. include come other channel from same region.

                          This is pathetic that this is the second time I am having problem with TATA. I was one of the first person to buy a TATA landline in our place and was forced to cancel the connection due to bad service and lack of response.

                          NO WONDER WHY TATA IS BECOMING A FAILURE IN MOBILE AND TELEVISION Buinsess.
                          We Tatasky subscribers are trapped by Tata.
                          When I called TataSky about the drop of Amrutha TV, Indiavision, DD Podhigai, DD Sapthagiri the answer was it is because of less viewers by their survey. I also said I have not received any calls or messages regarding the survey. Where have they conducted the so called Survey??

                          I called Amrutha TV also to know whether their channel is less viewed. They told me to lodge a complaint against TataSky with cosumer court.

                          When I asked about my money back, TataSky cleverly told me that that provision is not there with them as of now. Is it a pure cheating????

                          They also said they are going to add more popular channels which God only knows which are those popular channels. They also said they may (may????) add another 2 malayalam channels also.

                          I would like to know how can we reach CEO of TataSky who can atleast understand their Subscribers feelings.
                          Fed up and dissapointed.Called up the customer care center and blasted them.

                          1. They should not remove any channels without notice
                          2. DD and Free channels should not be removed at all

                          if there is a bandwidth problem at thier end they cannot remove channels that are free to air.

                          In a way, TATA and Amrita share the same core values from a philosophical and corporate standpoint.In this backdrop, disconnecting Amrita TV stating flimsy reasons is totally unacceptable

                          All subscribers of Amrita TV on Tata Sky should come together and forge a common force for the common good .We should be willing to take the matters to redressal forums, press and other media, if the top management continue their dodging tactics--never expected of a TATA company whose Chairman, Ratan Tata, is now acclaimed as one of the world's top corporate statesman .

                          We need to create goodwill groups to press for the inclusion of Amrita TV at the earliest

                          Tata Sky — poor reception & bad customer service of Tata Sky

                          Tired of complainingun Tata Sky about poor reception. Complaining is waste of Telephone costs & time. Last year they promised improvement but with onset of monsoon the reception is poor, particularly the black nuts. Do not waste time & money on calling customer service. I have .kept a lot of record, if anyone can help.
                          If promise of a demo set is not kept by the dealer the company should sort out the issue as the companys reputation is at stake.

                          Tata Sky Cable — Non Delivery of Recharge Coupon inspite of paying Rs 1000

                          Inspite of paying Rs 1000/- for the recharge coupoun, i haven't received the same, i've been following up with them since 17th of July, and yesterday even warned them that if i don't receive the coupon i shall approach the customer complaint cell.
                          Pls help me with the same, i cannot view any programmes on the TV, because the coupon is not available, can only view it after the recharge coupon is scratched and the number presented, i have been following up with these people and i want to register a complaint for harrasement to customer, they just keep on asking me for 48/ 72 hrs, but have not resolved my problem, I'm demanding the same since i've already paid for it, but i'm really shocked that they cannot dispatch this simple coupon for so many days.

                          NON RECEPTION OF SIGNALS

                          For the past few days set top box is not receiving signals. I tried to complain about this to the customer care. Their toll free no. 1860... gives engaged tone after two ring tones. Their other nos. are also not responding. At Tata Indicom main outlet at Ghaziabad they advised to try help line telephones again. I have not been able to put my complaint for last 3 days.

                          Yesterday I got through their no. 0172-... and waited for 10 min to speak customer care associate. When I did not get to customer care associate, I terminated the call.

                          Their web site is also not respoding today. I don't want to continue and want my money back. I ask for for damages caused towards, my time, phone bill and the mental trauma caused.

                          I have filed a complaint before Bellary District Forum, Bellary (Karnataka State) vide complaint number 86 / 2008.                           Tata Sky — Charging Un-necessary Amount For Relocation, please stay away from TATA SKY!

                          My name is Nilesh Parekh, my mobile number is [protected] and my Tata Sky ID is [protected].
                          I have relocated from my previous location to new location within the same city, I relocated in hurry as the previous flat was given to some other person and I could not afford keeping the Tata Sky dish or its cable there, I removed the dish and cable and carried them with me to new place. When on Sunday 11-Jan-2009 I called Tata Sky Customer Care, their customer representative after hearing everything, told me that it will cost only 350 Rs. as I already have carried the dish and cable with me.
                          When next time I called them to confirm if the request is logged, they said it will take Rs. 600 as its a case of relocation and plus they will charge me anywhere between Rs. 100 to Rs. 300 based on the length of cable needed.
                          They are looting customer for just fitting 6 screws and passing the length of wire to my TV. This is the most expensive service I have ever seen. I am almost sure that this complaint won't be answered, and even if there will be any reply, it will be like "You are bound to their terms and conditions!" or "Sorry we can't help you!". But I am putting this here just because I don't want any other person to get fooled by the name of Tata ... Please stay away from it and do not run in this beautiful looking trap!

                          1) They charge Rs. 1000 initially for installation and Rs. 600 or any relocation activity
                          2) They show less number of channels even in Rs. 300 package ... which is truly lesser than the number of channels Cable Operators are showing

                          I happen to be a subscriber with ID No.[protected]. During last week of Feb.09 I opted to get the caller tune of Slum Dog Millionaire-Theme tune on my Tata tele services registered mobile no.[protected]O. After half and hour an amount of Rs.7/- was debited to My account. I waited for next 24 hours to get this facility but having failed to get it, the u/s contacted customer care.
                          I was informed that it normally takes 24 hours, however, after 3 to 4 days I once again called your Cc executive and told him that this facility had not been provided on my cell and an amount of Rs.7/- have been debited to my account. The undersigned also spoke to your Mr. Sunny, a senior Cc executive and he assured that the this service shall be provide within next few hours till 7th March09, when nothing was provided the u/s again spoke to your CC executive, Ms Jaslin and she booked my complaint vide no.1-[protected] dt.7.03.09, but it is a mater of deep regret that till date I haven’t provide this service, however, M/s Tata sky is clever enough to debit Rs.7/- to my a/c. This amounts to cheating the customer, misleading and amounts to fraudulently debiting an amount of Rs.7/-, without providing any service against it. It is not a question of Rs.7/-, but amounts to deceiving a customer as there is absolutely no transparency in the deep, which as a consumer, u/s is entitled for. Having a receipt for no reply from your Cc care department, I am forwarding this complaint to the senior manager for investigation and bringing the concern CC Executives to books, as they are tarnishing the image of your company (Tata sky)) by making false promises. I am, therefore giving you a notice of two working days, w.e.f .today to either provide me the required facility on my registered phone or else apologies and credit Rs.7/- to my account, failing which I shall not hesitate to report the matter to your top management, Mr. Rattan Tata, Trai and consumer redressel forum of my area, the onus and the results of all these shall squarely lie with you.

                          Tata Sky — Renewal wrongly done

                          We had renewed our annual subscription with Tata Sky on 13th Feb09 by making a payment of Rs2600 under the Super Saver Annual package. We received an SMS confirmation of receipt of Rs.2600 by Tata Sky. Prior to our renewal we got 2 calls from the Tata Sky executives in Dec08 and 1st Feb09 respectively requesting us to take their annual package. After renewal there was no call from their end.
                          On 23rd March09 we get a call from them asking us to take their Super Saver Annual package. We were SHOCKED!!
                          They informed us that they had done a renewal only on daily basis which costs us around 310 rupees per month. And now our balance was less hence we could renew our subscription by taking up the Annual package with now costs Rs. 2750 by paying the difference between balance as of 23rd March09 and Rs. 2750.

                          They told us that we needed to make a call after paying Rs. 2600 that the payment was against the annual Super Saver package. However, in the 2 previous calls that their executives made to us we were never informed regards the same nor was there any such information in their helpline.

                          The balance earlier could be checked on the TV itself but lately this facility is also not available.

                          We requested their executives to renew our package on the SuperSaver package of Rs2600 from 13th Feb09, but their executives were not ready to do so.

                          They have really done us wrong and we request justice to be done. It is indeed sad to be cheated in this manner.

                          It is not that much about the money but the trust that one needs to have.
                          I have been a tata sky customer for over 2 years now and have never had any issue gettin thru their customer care.. and pretty much happy since they are responsive and quick to fix the issue..
                          First of all they show exactly the same no.of channels tht they claim.. For a company tht reputed this is not wat they do.. and more over relocation requires alligning the dish right and proper safe wiring which requires expertise.. thus relocation will bore some cost.. it ensures safe and proper reception for the future.
                          Firstly they have no interest in black listing customers without any reason. it does not make any sence since itll cost them as well. there must have been some reason for them to do so. being a tata sky customer i can say that they have taken care of cutomer service very well.

                          I'm facing a technical problem as the reception is not clear in some of the channels and there is voice distortion. There is no synchronization between the picture and the voice.

                          Over a period of one week I have called your helpline thrice, but of no avail and the best part is they are not able to generate complaint no. I requested them to connect me to the supervisor but they do not do so stating he is busy.

                          The Technical Support Personal keep on talking for a minimum of 20 minutes, mind u I'm footing the bill as they do not have a toll free no.

                          We as a public are under the notion that for TATA group customer is the profit and the rest is overhead, but it seems with the indifferent attitude of your Org. this is fast fading away.

                          Tata Sky — Fraudulent Charges

                          I paid Rs.5000/- on Jan 30th 2009 as renewal charges for one year and was informed by the lady Pooja that the actual annual charges for the renewal is Rs.3100/- howeversince I have two connections I would be charged Rs.5000/- for both. Now it is only 6 months and I am told thatI have to pay renewal charges on 30th July ormy connection would be cancelled.
                          I called the Pune customer service cell and spoke to two very indecent and unethical representatives Asha Gore and Shweta Joshi who point balnk refused any assistance and said that I have to pay the renewal once again. I gavethem the details of my payment and even inspite of me informing them that I will be taking this case up with the consumer court and would not even hesitate to air this on NDTV as a fraud... to my surprise I recevied a response from the so called Team Leader Shweta Joshi that I could go ahead and do what I please and that they have heard these kind of threats very often and are not at all disturbed by it... They have real audacity and arethe most indecentand rude peopleone can come across. I even toldShwwetathat this complaint would betaken upwith the highest authority possible to which she responded saying yeah sure please go ahead...
                          Where does a customer go in such cases and who is handling customer grieveances for Tata Sky asthey are very smartt and deceitful and have not given any contact details??????

                          Tata Sky — irrelevant sms on my number

                          respected sir,

                          i am using an idea prepaid connection and since last 4 or five months i have been receiving sms and calls from tata sky, which is a cable service provider . The main problem is that neither i am a customer of tata sky nor i have ever purchased it . so the calls and sms being sent to my number are meant for someone else . when the customer care of tata sky called me frequently, i warned the to file a case against them and blocked their number from my mobile handset.But still i am receiving frequent sms from them related to warning of delay in payment etc ., which are just senseless for me .


                          This carelessness of company is not only causing trouble to me but also must be causing trouble for the original customer due to non-confirmation messages which i am receiving and meant for them .

                          So please, take serious action at your earliest and help me as i am receiving their sms every now and then !

                          Tata Sky — No upgradation in spite of Full Payment + Rude Customer Support

                          This is Vishal, from Bangalore, I have made full payment for Tata Sky +, being a user of Tata Sky, i wanted to upgrade Tata Sky. I was told that within 2-3 days, enginner will call u for installtion. Today its 10th day, no one had bothered me to call....Everyday I am calling to customer support and getting stupid answers from them, they even talked to me so rude....Their answers are like - engineer will call u within one hour, box is not delivered, box is not available, kit is not ready etc etc. If these many problems are there, how can they simply tell "the engineer will call u in one hour:. meaning they dont have any sync in their operations.

                          I am totally fed up with their answers and attitude, completely careless and un-educated people.

                          Money is already deducted from my credit card, now they are giving me stupid excuses. Its really untolerable to listen these typical answers again and again.
                          Tata sky+'s delivery is really quick and instant and Since you purchased during the offer span there should have been an immediate dispatch. One of my relatives purchased during this offer and received the STB within 2 days of order. You should consult any known person who have recently purchased Tata Sky+ and since you are already a Tata Sky customer the Co's values its customers.

                          Tata Sky — Inefficient service and Digicomp faliure

                          I am a subscriber of Tata sky no [protected] ,initially the reception had lot of issues,now in the past 10 days they have changed the digcomp twice in AMC yet it does not work.The call centre guys pass on the complaint and the service engineer calls up AGAIN to find what was the complaint,huge communication GAP.
                          Result we dont see TV for 15 days a month just b'cause we have Tata sKy.Its ridiculous!!Need a long term solution
                          Every technician visit costs the CO. Hence a resolved issue is required. The technician also has his duty to get the problem sorted. As you said you previously have faced reception problem there may be an issue with the dish cable and not with the digicomp. The problem should be rectified in the presence of the technician to avoid further problems in future.

                          Tata Sky — Nobody is coming for installation

                          I have a tata sky connection. Recently I have relocated within kharghar.I raised a request to relocate my connection. But they are not comming saying a reason that they have threat from local cable operators. They are even unable to confirm when they can do the installation. Indefinetly they are keep on postponing, they dont even lift their phones. If they cannot do the installation then they have to refund the full amount Rs.4000/ and take their setup back.

                          Please help me as I cannot loose such a huge amount.

                          The helpdesk allots a technician visit in case you want to relocate, the technician decides the date and time of arrival there is no chance he can refuse, only in certain circumstances there may be delays. There has to be an installation done and in case of failure to do so you should be entitled to refund.You need to countercheck with the customercare to appoint a dedicated technician to visit your new residence and they shall help you out

                          TataSky — how to operate system

                          Tata Sky does installation even in remotest of the areas. They have that efficient installation team! So its very hard for me to believe that they will not install just because of "rogue cable operators". I don't think you have been calling the Tata sky helpline. The only times when it keeps ringing is if it is very busy.It appears you may have been misinformed by someone. It would be best of you would just talk to the right person in the customer services and they shall surely solve all your problems.

There are many regional channels that are in demand and that need of the majority customers is being met slowly and steadily.As per the hollistic view as there are no Dth with peace TV and if the demand shoots up there could be a possibility of adding this channel.

                          Tata Sky — Fraudulent debit to my Account

                          I am a Tata Sky User (ID:[protected]) for over one year now. I use the Internet to recharge my account. A couple of months ago I suddenly noticed that 'Sports Platinum' package was added to my subscription and the monthly charges debited to my account. On strongly taking up the issue with the Helpdesk, I was told that someone might have called up from my mobile to subscribe to the package and that I cannot cancel it before one month (although I pointed this out within 2 days). Somehow, after calling to the Helpdesk a couple of times, I managed to unsubsribe this 'Sports Platinum' package. I did not pursue the issue further considering the small amount involved (Rs.75/). Now I have again been debited Rs.100/- on 23.12.09 and on taking up with the Helpdesk I was told that I had used the mobile recharge option on 23.12.09 at 1:00pm for Showcase. This was outright ridiculous since I was in office at that time and no body could have used my mobile to recharge it. On my strong objection the supervisor at the Helpdesk (Mr.Siraj) on 30.12.09 stated that it is NOT MANDATORY THAT MY REGISTERED MOBILE ONLY CAN BE USED FOR ORDERING ANY SERIVICE - ANY PHONE CAN BE USED FOR THIS. He registered my complaint (1-[protected]) and on 31.12.09 informed me that a call was made from Mobile No.[protected] for ordering the showcase movie. On my asking the source of this mobile call I was told that it is for me to find out.

                          I am at a loss to understand what to do. I had selected TATA SKY over others because I had a strong conviction that TATAs were very ethical people. Now I understand how the TATAs cheat the people by using such methods. I am sure on both occasions, some TATA SKY marketing guy must have been increasing his bussiness at the cost of poor chaps like us. Further how can government allow such nonsense! How, can one allow any phone number to be used for ordering any service. Is it legal in India. Can I lodge an FIR and if so what will be the details required. Since I have already spent so much on the TATA SKY connection it will now be costly to switch to any other connection. Kindly help and advise.

                          Recharge by the internet is the most convenient and fast method of recharge also this method frequently carry good schemes and offers. Is there any other member in the family who watches sports and may have possibly added the 'Sports Platinum' package. Customer has the right to add or drop the package at any time so you shall be charged only (for two days as mentioned) uptil is activation and as pointed there could also be a possibility of someone calling for a sports pack. If the caller verifies each detail than the agent is bound to proceed and in case where money is involved or alloting a tech visit the caller alongwith the registered user is verified. So someone (may be in your family) having access to details may be placing an order for the mentioned options namely Showcase, 'Sports Platinum' package.The agent can proceed on a secondary no. only when the caller verifies account details and in the case where money is involved like a tech visit appointed primary account holder permission is required. There could be a family member with account deatils who must have placed an order for the service or else ask for a new id to secure your details.

                          Tata Sky — Not Getting Service

                          Are you not getting channels or video? Since you have mentioned you have balance is there any message displayed in relation to your account such as account blocked or any other such message that prevents you from watching. For basic troubleshooting in case if the problem is with the STB just try restarting it once and check if it helps or does it still show a blank screen or indicates error in network there could be several reason for not getting video to derive the exact cause and getting the issue resolved you could contact the customer care to check if there is an account related issue or a hardware or any other problem. In case of an hardware issue basic troubleshooting steps will be taken through on call and if the issue is identified and resolving it requires a tech visit it can allocate one on your approval.

                          I am the subscriber of Tata sky ID NO.[protected] in the name of Mrs.Jayanti Rani verma.From last two days my Tata sky DTH TV is not coming.I have complaint to Tata sky customer care regarding the problem but the response of Tata sky is not satisfactory.The response is that we lodge your complain and our representative will report to you within 24hours and you have to pay Rs.350/- for service charges.In my openion Tata sky cable TV is a service provider and the responsibility to given facilities and shourt out the problem of cutomer is his responsibilities then why they ask money for rectify the problem.As well as I have send SMS to tata sky on dated 30/04/2010 at 8.00PM they given responses through SMS to me we contact to you immedietly very shortly.I am very sorry to say you they didnot contact to me as yet.Please shortout my problem as soon as possible.

They are irresponsible, will not listen to the customer, and couldnt care less if the customer is put to inconvenience and made to pay more for their MISTAKES!!. Complaints made on line are not responded to, nor are we put on line with personell who are able to take decisions.

                          Tata Sky — bad maintenance of tata sky junction box

                          The tata sky junction box is being fitted in the wall next to the lift. The Pipes which has all the wires connecting other subscribers to junction box is broken since past 3 years. Due to which during rains water seeps in through the pipe and drips in , exactly near the landing of the lift door. If caught un awares there is chance of sliping and falling . I naveena shetty - subscriber number - [protected] has been complaining to tata sky a number of times. But when I try to register my complain , they disconnect the phones as they are not trained to deal with this type of complaints... After speaking to many people I was told Mr pratuman- [protected] will be able to help me. I spoke to him and he convinced me that he will see to the matter as early as possible . It has been 1 month since our talk he has not attended to it. Can you please guide me where i can get help from. Or before the rains I'll get it removed.                           Tata Sky — DELAY IN RELOCATION

                          I have a Tata Sky subscription since the last 3 yrs.SUBSCRIPTION NUMBER - [protected] - Initially when we subcribed and even when applying for Tata Sky Plus , we recieved prompt service. we never had any complaints.
                          But as we changed residence and asked for relocation , we are having an exasperating experience. We called on Thursday the 19 th June . They were asked specifically to call on the cell no. as , we were still shifting . They called on landline and landed up two hours before they were supposed to come. We had to send them back , and they promised to come back at 5.00 pm which was the earlier time fixed. Ofcourse noone turned up, and numerous call to the call centre number throughout the weekend resulted in no response. Finally a man named Amar came and saw , and was decided to fix a new dish. He said if not him someone else would come and do the needful. Iam still waiting today is the 2 nd July . They have been giving different times from 2.00, 5.00 and even as late as 10 o' clock at night . We wait up for them and they dont show up. I have even threatened them with giving this complaint earlier , but it has had no effect on them. Yesterday we contacted thier Pune headquarters, and after numerous calls was finally told in the evening someone MAY come on the 3 rd July.
                          It seems Tataa Sky is only interested in getting new customers , but are not interested in service of any kind. We cant even contact any Tata Sky officer to get a response from them directly . Calling the helpline number [ do they understand the meaning of HELP !!! ] IS ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF TIME . oNE OPERATOR DIDNT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ID NUMBER AND DIGICARD NUMBER !!!!!!!!

                          Tata Sky — Non installation after full payment 10 days ago

                          I had requested for an installation of TATA SKY HD on the 24th of June and was promised the successful installation within 4 working days.On the 9th day i get a call saying that my set top box would be installed at a given time.The enginers came 3 hours later than the said time and then also could not install the software and promised that they would return the next morning to complete the installation which is today 4th July.
                          I recieve an SMS stating the time of service and the mobile number of the service engineer.On calling the number after the said time had been elapsed i am told that he is on his way and thereafter his mobile number is switched off.
                          The sole purpose of me opting for TATA SKY HD was to watch FIFA and WIMBLEDON, the quarter final and women final respectively are already over.I have spoilt my entire weekend in WAITING for the engineers to come and merely INSTALL their product for which the payment has already been made.
                          This is the state of affairs during installation and i can only assume nightmares during their after sales.
                          I had booked TS HD on 21st June 2010, I was told that the box will be delivered within 24 hours. However, the BOX cam only on 29th June 2010. the delivery boy told me to call up TS helpline to schedule the installation. I was told by TS helpline that the installation will be done within 24 hours. On 2nd July 2010, I received a SMS from TS that the installation is scheduled on 3rd July 2010. But nobody turned up. So I called up TS helpline. I was told that the installation is on 6th July 2010. So I insisted that it should be done today. They told me that someone will call. But no one called. I am still without installation. The box is lying in my house unattended. God only save a brand name like TATA...I doubt whether TATA has the courtesy to read the feedback and will look into the matter.

                          Tata Sky — No signal reception

                          Tata Sky is having signal reception problem form last week. I have raised a complaint but no action was taken. Now for the past three days no one is picking the call in TATA Sky customer care; both the main number and the bangalore number.

                          Is there something that can be done. Dont know whom to contact.

                          I sent a message to 56633 on 19 Aug 2010 about not getting the signal when there was even a drizle. I received a relply the same day giving me the WO number which is Ns [protected] and informing me that the request is scheduled at 22 8 10 at 12 noon.On 19 8 10 at 5.07 pm from [protected] say it iswas pleasure to 'serve you' and asked me to inform them whether I am satisfied or not. Even without doing anything they wanted me to appreciate their work.
                          Till today ( 5-45 pm August 24, 2010) none from the Tatasky service team bothered to contact me nor attended to my compalint.
                          It is unfortunate to get such a shoddy performance from an organisation of Tata fame.
                          For this type of service you are charging the highest fees.

                          Can I expect any reaction either from you or your "efficient" service team? Can I expect a reply from you when will my complaint be attended and the porblem is solved?

                          If this is the attitude of your staff, be assured that you will definitely going to lose your customers.

                          We are a government of india office - PESB (Public Enterprises Selection Board), functioning from 5th Floor, Block No.14, CGO Complex. Tata Sky DTH connection was taken through M/s Sambu Shree Services. However, the TV shows "No Signal" for the last four days.
                          When the given telephone No.[protected] was contacted no satisfactory response is being given. The person attending the call first asked me to call on No.26692377 but there was no response. When contacted again he gave another No.49266666. But again there was no response on this number. Again he was contacted and i was asked to try No.[protected] but this number too none is attending. Now, when I am trying the first number, the persons is disconnecting our call.

                          We subscribed two TATA SKY DTH connection (ID No. [protected], Digcom No.[protected] and Dig Card No.[protected] in March-April, 2010 for one full year (all channels).

                          It is very unfortunate that a product of Tatas, being headed by the Shri Ratan Tata, is not giving satisfaction to the customers. We are sure, the distributors are not cooperating and perhaps interested in maligning the name of the Tatas.

                          Ours is a Government of India office and such response from Shambu Shree Services is disappointing.

                          I have just bought New LG LED TV so i got FREE TATA SKY as a festive offer,as per instruction sent the message on concerned number.Even they confirmed my connection also.Now its been 3 days but i no body has came yet to install the set up from company. Very poor slow Service from TATA company , it was not expected.

ON 24/10/10 WHEN I CALLED UP , AGAIN GOT A SUPRISING ANSWER FROM THE EXECUTIVE "NO SUCH APPOINTMENT:.

                          FED-UP WITH ALL THIS, SPOKE TO THE SENIOR AND LODGED COMPLAINT (complaint #[protected] AND WAS ASSURED AGAIN THAT THE EXECUTIVE WILL DEFINITELY COME ON 27/10/10. WHEN ASKED WHAT'S THE GURANTEE , THEY SAID WE HAVE A COMPLAINT AND EVERY COMPLAINT IS RESOLVED IN 24HRS.

                          ON 27/10/10 , TOOK LEAVE FROM OFFICE AS I HAD TO REMOVE THE GRILL AND MY PRESENCE WAS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION. CALLED UP CUSTOMER CARE AT 3PM AND WAS ASSURED BY THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT THE EXECUTIVE WILL COME AT 5PM AND COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION.

                          AT 4PM CALLED-UP AGAIN AT CUSTOMER CARE TO CONFIRM . BUT WAS SUPRISED TO HEAR FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT THERE WAS NO SUCH APPOINTMENT . I WAS ZAPPED, ASKED THE EXECUTIVE TO TRANSFER THE CALL TO THE SENIOR . THE SENIOR AS USUAL ONLY HAD TO SAY THAT WE WILL TRY OUR BEST. SHE WAS MORE HAPPY TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION AS THAT WOULD HAVE ENSURED THAT THE SLA IS NOT BREACHED AND WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE RAISED A COMPLAINT FOR CANCELLATION REQUEST AND HAD DISCONNECTED THE CALL.

                          HAD CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN AS THE CONVERSATION WAS INCOMPLETE HOWEVER FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE GOT TO KNOW THAT THERE IS CANCELLATION REQUEST. WHEN ASKED WHO WILL BEAR THE EXPENSE OF ALL THE TROUBLE THAT HAS CAUSED TO ME, THERE WAS NO ANSWER. HAD FORCED THE CUSTOMER CARE TO CANCEL THE CANCELLATION REQUEST AS I WANTED TO ESCALATE THIS TO THE SENIORS.

                          I WAS TOLD THAT I CAN ESCALATE THE COMPLAIN THROUGH MY TATASKY.COM HOWEVER WHEN TRIED TO LODGE THE COMPLAIN THERE WAS NO SUCH OPTION .

                          WE'VE ALWAYS GONE BY TATA BRAND WHICH ACTUALLY MEANT :"TRUST" HOWEVER I'VE REALISED THAT WITH THE CHANGING TIME TATA'S HAVE ALSO CHANGED AND ARE NO MORE TRUSTWORTHY.

                          ASK ANY INDIAN ABOUT TATA'S THEY WOULD STRONGLY RECOMEND TATA'S AS THEY CAN BE TRUSTED HOWEVER THE IMAGE IS CHANGING AND I CAN SEE THAT.

                          Tata Sky — Zero Service

                          I am a subscriber of Tata Sky DTH. Because of the Big names involved & their big promoses and 'Mr. Perfectionist" as their Brand Ambassador, I had no doubt when I decided to become a subscriber in 2008. But, recently when I faced some technical problem, I had a bitter experience and found their service is just like any next door cable operators. After three days since I lodge my complaint I came to conclusion that their service is just opposite to their slogans " Isko laga dala to life ....... ?" . I would request everyone reading this message that "Please, please donot get carried away by their misleading promises like me". I have recommended many since I become a subscriber, but now I will tell everyone / pass messages in every possible way that "Tata sky is not in a position to replace a DIGICOMP of a subscriber residing in a capital city and at a distance of 2 kms away from Deputy Commissioner's Office even after 82 hrs of lodging the complaint". So, " Beware anyone who intends to become a Tata Sky Subscriber residing in rural India. It may also be stated that they have not stopped debiting my account even though they have failed to execute required service after 82 hrs of lodging the complaint. This is simply "DAY LIGHT _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ." Necessary action from concerned authority for stopping such harrasement is highly appreciable.

                          Tata Sky — Misleading advertisement & Promos

                          Dear Sir or Madam:

                          This is to bring to your kind notice the misleading advertisements & promos being done by Tata Sky for marketing their Add on Packages. The package is called "ADD-ON PACKAGE" but you need to sing up for it for a minimum of 3 months. This was not the policy in the past & one could subscribe to an Add-On pack for a month. So, if I want to watch the India-NZ series on Neo, I need to sign up for it for 3 months at a minimum which is an absolute rip off of the consumers money. Why can't I subscribe to the channel for a month? I understand pro-rated doesn't really work as consumers will activate only for the days they want to watch cricket but a month's time is good enough. Why do I need to sign up for 3 months at a minimum?

                          Pls look into the same. I am sure there are many others like me who are facing the similar problems.

                          and opted for optional package for sports and active package for one month,
                          once activated they dont have a system to discontinue and they start deducting extra package per month.
                          once the balane reaches zero,
                          still their system dont stop and they make it negative,
                          with a message that your transmission is disturbed due to rains,
                          whether you have rains in the city or not.
                          then funny sms and messages start to appear on your regeistered mobile no and tv screen.
                          THE CALL CENTRE GUYS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BOOK A COMPLAINT TILL YOU HAVE A POSITIVE BALANCE.

                          Tata Sky — Pathetic Service, Strong Procrastination

                          Hi,

                          I have had some trouble with a Tata Sky Set Top Box, the box has not been functioning, I have filed a complaibnt for replacement one week ago, I have had to call them everyday and keep requesting but no body responds, the customer service desk is unprofessional and needs training in soft skills they have no direct connect with their service/techincal teams and keep procrastinating, I was committed 2 hrs, then 24 hours and then 72 hours and now a week.
                          Most times they just hear me out and hang up, I stressed with their behaviour and moreover have not had access to television for a week, it seems like were living in some stone age time where I have to keep begging a Company to provide me with a replacement for a product which I have paid money for.

                          I wish therer would be strong action taken against them

                          Hi,

                          I have been using tata sky connection for quite sometime now. Just a little while ago I got Sony Max added to my pack which worked fine for sometime and started giving problems. After numerous calls I was told there is some problem with the set-top box and the engineer would visit and rectify the problem. For a channel that costs Rs 30/- month I paid another Rs 350/- only to get it work. The apathy didn't end there. Later on I was sold the Advance Cricket Pack (New Sports & Cricket - Rs 320/-) on the pretext that it's gonna be hassle free and I won't have any problems. After numerous calls and follow ups the problem remains the same. I can't all these 3 channels working on my set-top boxes.

                          After numerous follow ups a new engineer paid the visit on 17th Nov'10 and changed the part. The engineer revealed that the part changed earlier was substandard and low quality and now he has changed this with a new part.
                          I was assured by Mr.Manjunath from Bangalore office that no money would be charged this time but even then Rs 350/- has been deducted from my account.

                            I hav purchased a TATA SKY DTH from the above mentioned address on 16th sep.2010 @ Rs.1500. And with this pack they offer me 3months free "SUPER VALUE PACK, SUPER SAVER PACK N LIFESTYLE GOLD PACK" around 130 channels. But when I got installation I found only "SUPER HIT PACK" in my account n even for that I am being charged Rs.5.26paisa/day.

                            Whatever they promise me Im not getting even a single pack. And I purchased this DTH only bcoz I'll get these benifits(those 3pack).

                            Second thing they charged me Rs.1500 for set up box, but on the same day. company price was Rs.999. Here again they cheated me... I hav the bill with all the details.

                            When I contact to the K.C.O.P(Shop) they told me,sir ur package will be later upgraded. So u dont worry.
                            But when I conf. this with "TATA SKY CUST.CARE" they denied from this and told me, sir there is nothing like that Ur dealer is miss guiding u.

                            So, now I dont want to use this TATA SKY any more... becoz they hav cheated in price as well as in packages.

                            So plz help me sir as I am not getting satisfactory response from the cust.care too.

                            Please Suggest me sir what to do. I am very frustrated wid this. I dont want to use this. I want my money back.

                            Tata Sky D2H — Cheated by TATA SKY

                            I have been a TATA SKY subscriber (subscriber id: [protected]) for over 1.4 years.

                            I have to emphasise that I have been cheated by TATA SKY.

                            My TATASKY digicom box was being hanged numerous times (my apologies for not able to recollect date) I registered a complaint the very next day, no one responded. Registered a complaint again on 2nd May 2011 vide reference id No. 1-[protected] (tata sky customer service lines are perpetually busy and people leave you on hold for long time)

                            They investigated the problem and the engineer who visited my house next day, brought to my notice that my digicom box is not functioning well and needs to be replaced by some other subscriber’s repaired digicom box. Which was not acceptable by me?

                            When I purchased a new connection, during the installation your engineer insisted me to go for AMC. He said for next one year from the date of expiry of 1 year additional warranty if any problem comes across than TATA SKY will replace a new digicom box free of cost.

                            But when engineer was installing an old digicom box in replacement, I stopped & asked him to install a new digicom box as conveyed to me earlier. He refused to replace a new box and connected me to his manager Mr. Sanjay Chaurasia on his cell number [protected]. He misbehaved and talked so rudely over the phone & I couldnt believe that something like this could happen? He said he can only give repaired box in AMC.

                            I am very seriously agitated by this whole act (if I could call it a fraudulent practice) It is a very ridiculous practice that these guys talks like anything with their customers now I am very serious about draggin all of you to the court if I don’t get a new digicom box within 10-15 days.

                            I want this to be taken seriously and want to expose tatasky in public so that this doesnt happen anymore.

                              I have ordered tatasky though phone booking (order: 1-[protected]) on sep13th morning 8 30
                              They made promise to install it within 1day or maximum of 48hrs. Even after repeated calling they insisted the same. Now after 48hrs of booking they say they will respond as soon as possible on this. No one is bothered to give a callback on the same. They are raising complaints and saying they need 2-4 hrs to resolve that. The time seems to be creeping up but no one is there to install the device. This is pathetic customer service. I am now regretting of choosing this DTH service.

                              I had asked for relocation of my TATA SKY connection in the same suburb. The request was raised on 2nd July 2011 but the same has not yet been completed.I had made more than the required payments before raising the request. However, every day I am promised that the work will be done and then the engineer does not turn up and I end up waiting for them at home wasting every evening.

                              In fact they have closed a work order withouth completing the same on 18 and opened a new one on 20th. Even for this new workorder no one there has been no progress.

                              I want a refund of my money so that I can get the services of another D2H provider.

                                In my house tata sky setup box is not working. On 1st Sep I called to Customer care to complete for tata sky they said today or tomorrow we will come to see.

                                After two day I given call again they said u not given any complete on 1 st sep i said it’s ok take now, that times also same answer today or tomorrow we will come see.

                                After few mint one SMS come in my mobile the service will do on 9th Sep.

                                Again i called to Customer care I said on that day we are not there so please please the need full so they said ok. We will come on Sunday that was 5th sep. on Sunday fully day we are waiting for anyone will come anyone will come but no one is come we are waiting like .

                                On 6th Sep Monday called to tata sky same answer, finally the person come on 9th Sep only. That day they said in setup box some problems are there so we will come tomorrow.

                                Today is 15th Sep till a day no body comes to see every day I am giving call to Customer care.

                                The tata sky service was very worst service I am requesting to all people please please don’t take tata sky take any other disk

                                  Inspite of repeated calls and follow up for a NO SIGNAL problem, TATA SKY has not responded. The service call is to be completed within 48 hrs of complain registration at Tata Sky Helpline. But, this is never abided by. When I called again at their call centre, the senior manager talks but, only assurance is given with no commitment to completing the work.

                                  Such bad service and lack of commitment to customer service is not expected from a reputed company like Tata's.

                                  This is with service request reference No. 1-[protected] to my e-mail dated 02/06/08.

                                  I am facing sound noise problem for which I tried on[protected]/3 times. After attending the call, there was no response from the divert extension for 5 to 10 minutes. Sir, finally I came to the conclusion that instead of wasting calls I tried to approach you thru' e-mail.

                                  After '3/4 days call from your side came on my Mobile explained the procedure if visited at site. I told him very clearly that if for visiting Rs.300 is chargeable. Please don't attend the query which is not affordable to me.

                                  Again on 06/06/08 your mechanic visited to my residence .After checking the digicomp he told us that the problem of noise is because of old TV. Problem remains unsolved. He asked us for Rs.300 which we could not afford. My son signed on slip that we will not pay Rs.300 even though it was told clearly not to attend the query.


                                  Since installation to up till now there were no problems & no question of visit of your mechanic arised. If I am not willing to pay such heavy visit charges which explained it before attending. However, for the same Recovery from your side is implemented promptly. My Recharge card was due on June 25, 2008 however, on 10/06/08 message started showing that "your digicomp is not authorized" – pay Rs.101 and reactivate.

                                  Sir, I feel that this type of customer service for the unresolved problem is not fair. You are requested to regularize the transaction and hope that you will not force me to seek for other alternatives for entertainment.

                                  Customer service is one of the factors tht makes tata sky stand out from the crowd.. i have had my tata for 2 years now and have never had a complaint unattended.. ur case seems to be the unfortunate one.. i am quite impressed with their service..

                                  I agree. Poor services. Customer Care believes only in making PEP TALK calls. For example, I have complained that NDTV Hindu is not coming as advertised in the pamphlet while purchasing the digi box.
                                  Complaint was given by email. The customer care rang up only to say we have to go to NDTV 24X7 site and press RED button. Then NDTV Hindu will come as a small screen. Not Full screen. This was never explained in any of their literature. The reasons are not known. Customers are misled.
                                  Sometimes while watching Gemini TV, I observed that picture is constant but audio will be progressing like radio.
                                  The signal strength shows only 40% and no one is interested to record.
                                  The customer care only telephones without knowing actual problem
                                  The customer care contacted us to renew the contract and when we highlighted the service deficiency, simply he renewed it for one more year without our consent. Every thing is oral and no SMS or call was made from our RMN.
                                  We sent a mail to TataSky. So far still action is awited.

                                  My set -top box not changed in 7 days while they claim the service within 48 hrs. Do not opt for TATA sky as this is probably not having the TATA image which we know.

You know that Astha, Sansker etc channels are being telecasting 24/7, i respect them, but why is so much partiality for us. The transaction money has also been withdrawn by the company. I was promised that the installation would be done within 72 hrs. However, to my utter dismay nothing has been done till now (5th Sept, 2010). Repeated calls to the contact number provided have also been futile with the company postponing the installation date again and again. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

                                      Tata Sky HD — Delay in Installation

                                      I bought an LG LCD TV on Friday 20th May'2011 from Reliance Digital where they said that you'll get Tata Sky HD connection free(which was actually across payment of 1000Rs. but it wasn't worth mentioning for them) with the TV and installation will happen during that weekend itself. As a customer, we bought the idea and made payment. Post payment they told us Taka Sky HD is out of stock and thus might get delayed by 4 days. Now we were stuck, as payment was done. On Saturday 21st May'2011 we get a voucher saying you need to register for activation once you get set top box ( which Reliance Digital DM said will be delivered by Monday 23rd May'2011) so on Monday I went to Reliance Digital where they told us, set top box will come once we register on Tata Sky Number and then in 72hrs your connection would be active(How convenient, they could have said the same initially..but again no proper info sharing).
                                      Finally I registered with them on Monday 23rd May'2011 and got a Subscription ID..and them waited for installation call. Finally when after good 48 hrs no one called. So I got in touch with their Customer care, where I either got false promises (You'll get call in next 2hrs, Person will be there by 5pm etc) or rude people.After some 4 calls and more than 72hrs of wait, today I got a reply that their is some work going on in your area so it might take another 24-48 hrs..!!
                                      Why can't they share this information when I was paying for the TV..?? Why I have to wait for 7-8 days for something I can get in 7-8hrs if I opt for other service providers or to say local cable connection will be even better. Worst if false commitments by everyone involved and one customer care executive even replied you've to wait, come what may. Great service, isn't it..why I have to suffer after paying 52 grands..??

                                        8:34mins giving him detail of sub id [protected] & phone no with other set top box
                                        digicomp[protected] i was concenerd about how i can get adaptor so,he ask me few question but i could not understand much so i request him to repeat, he get frusted whatever reason may be he wisperd an abusive language which i heared on my mobile
