The set top box is not working for more than 3 days. I scheduled an appointment with the engineer, and on the first day he said over phone he does not have adequate apparatus to solve the problem. On the second day, he promised that that he will come between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. I called him and confirmed the appointment and left office early to attend him. When he did not show up until 7:00 pm, I called him again and he said that he is on his way and will be reaching in 30 minutes. However, he never showed up, and when I tried calling him at 8:00 pm he stopped answering his phone. His name is Mr. Rahit (most probably) and number is [protected]. I tried calling the 24-hr helpline which seems to be down after 8:00 pm. Next day morning, I called again and talked to Mr. Ravinder, Ms. Mahinder and their Manager, Mr. Ratish. I was told that someone will be in my place between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm - no one showed up. I called again and I was told that someone will be here by 2:00 pm. Again no show. I called them minutes before typing this, and I am told someone will be here by 3:00 pm. I am still waiting.
Can anyone do anything / help about this? How is the service of other providers like Big TV or Dish TV in Delhi NCR Region.

Tata Sky — Fraud Packages
Hello sir,I would like to complain about the fraud packages provided by Tata Sky. We had bought the set-top box worth Rs. 3500+Rs 1000 for 3 months of subscription about 18 months back. We chose to take the pack with all the channel called Jumbo Pack - later on they added few more channels and said we need to pay more to watch those channels. That still made some sense since it could be company discretion to give some channels in a particular package. But in my package we had all the sports channel - other then Neo - including ESPN, Star Sports, Ten Sports. All of a sudden they have gone off air for my package without any intimation. Now they want us to pay Rs 75 Per month for the same channels. This is simply not fair trade practice. They are trying to make money on the hook since we have paid INR 3500 and it is not easy to switch since i loose the money on the set top box.
Seek your help with appropriate action against such fraud packages.
