I had booked a Tata Sky HD connection vide request no. 1-[protected] and subscription ID no. [protected] on 31st Aug, 2010. The transaction money has also been withdrawn by the company. I was promised that the installation would be done within 72 hrs. However, to my utter dismay nothing has been done till now (5th Sept, 2010). Repeated calls to the contact number provided have also been futile with the company postponing the installation date again and again. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

Tata Sky HD — Delay in Installation

I bought an LG LCD TV on Friday 20th May'2011 from Reliance Digital where they said that you'll get Tata Sky HD connection free(which was actually across payment of 1000Rs. but it wasn't worth mentioning for them) with the TV and installation will happen during that weekend itself. As a customer, we bought the idea and made payment. Post payment they told us Taka Sky HD is out of stock and thus might get delayed by 4 days. Now we were stuck, as payment was done. On Saturday 21st May'2011 we get a voucher saying you need to register for activation once you get set top box ( which Reliance Digital DM said will be delivered by Monday 23rd May'2011) so on Monday I went to Reliance Digital where they told us, set top box will come once we register on Tata Sky Number and then in 72hrs your connection would be active(How convenient, they could have said the same initially..but again no proper info sharing).
Finally I registered with them on Monday 23rd May'2011 and got a Subscription ID..and them waited for installation call. Finally when after good 48 hrs no one called. So I got in touch with their Customer care, where I either got false promises (You'll get call in next 2hrs, Person will be there by 5pm etc) or rude people.After some 4 calls and more than 72hrs of wait, today I got a reply that their is some work going on in your area so it might take another 24-48 hrs..!!
Why can't they share this information when I was paying for the TV..?? Why I have to wait for 7-8 days for something I can get in 7-8hrs if I opt for other service providers or to say local cable connection will be even better. Worst if false commitments by everyone involved and one customer care executive even replied you've to wait, come what may. Great service, isn't it..why I have to suffer after paying 52 grands..??

    I just dial customer care nos of tatasky which was attented by one of your representative named prakash at about 2:20:36 pm i just talked him about
    8:34mins giving him detail of sub id [protected] & phone no with other set top box
    digicomp[protected] i was concenerd about how i can get adaptor so,he ask me few question but i could not understand much so i request him to repeat, he get frusted whatever reason may be he wisperd an abusive language which i heared on my mobile
    at time of request .so kindly some severe action against him my mobile no through which i made call to him was [protected].i also wanted to know my sub id
    for given set top box provided by above digicomp no.so i hope some action will be taken against prakash or i will change my dishconnection dth.

      I am writing this just highlight the sorry state of affair of Tata Sky services in Thane(W). Your call centre people or local service support office hardly providing any services to the consumers. My connection is not working properly since 08-Aug-10. I have made repeated requests, written e-mails, called n no of people at your call centre but there is no response and your local office is not ready to attend it.
      And to my surprise today I received a SMS(form [protected]) that my complaint has been attended and closed, where as nobody has visited to attend and problem still persists.

      Further to my mail below, finally one service engineer visited on 17-Aug-10 and resumed the connection.
      Now my connection is connected with dish of my upstairs’ neighbours. Now my Tata sky works only when their digicom is switched on.
      Again on 18-Aug-10 I contacted your call centre spoke to one Ms Sushma my complaint was registered (no 1-[protected]) with same tall claims of providing service in next 24 hrs. But till today i.e. 20-Aug-10 (21.00 hrs) nobody has turned up.
      If you cannot provide service kindly discontinue my connection.

      This is further to my mail dated 11-Aug-10. I am again sending the date & event diary for the
      # On 8-Aug-10 complaint lodged for no signal. Got the assurance that it will be attended in next 24 hrs. But nobody turned up for next 48 hrs.
      # Again I contacted on 10-Aug-10 and there was the same standard reply that ‘will attend it within next 24 hrs’.
      # Again I contacted on 11-Aug-10 call centre at 17.00 hrs, and I was assured that at least I will get a call from some higher up in next 4 hrs. Nobody contacted even in next 24 hrs.
      # On 12-Aug-10 got a contact with one of your service engineer (Mob. No.[protected]), but he said because of personal reasons he can not come but will send somebody from his office. But again nobody turned up. Again called on your helpline no. and with the Mersey of TATA SKY I was connected to one SENIOR of your call centre “Mr. SAGAR”. He again assured that I will get a call in next 4 hrs. But as usual again there was no call back.
      # Again I contacted on 13-Aug-10 at 17.00 hrs, spoke one Mr. RAHUL and repeated the whole story, also requested him to connect me to MR. SAGAR, he checked and refused to do so, but assured that my complaint will be attended in next 24 hrs and also I will get a phone call in next 4 hrs.
      Guess “Did I receive a call ? Answer is very simple “NO”.
      # Finally on 14-Aug-10 with great Mersey of God and Tata Sky, one service engineer came. He worked in his own style. Wire was broken from one or two points. We asked him to replace the wire ( I am ready to pay for this ). But without listening he went on putting the multiple joints. Resulted in solving the problem but with poor quality of signal. But still I was thankful to TATA sky for solving the problem.
      # Now to my surprise today on 15-Aug-10, the problem is back to square one. Again the link has broken, there is no signal, again TATA SKY is not working.
      I am feared of going through the same pain for one full week again to contact and get the problem solved and that too just for few hrs.
      My question is :
      (1) Is this the way of working of Tata sky?
      (2) Is this the standard of service support of Tata Sky?
      (3) Is this the attitude of Tata sky call centre people, service engineers and above all the SENIORs?
      (4) Is there anybody in this whole organisation who is really concerned about customer care?

      Its better to get rid of Tata sky and disconnect the connection for ever.
      Kindly look in this matter seriously.

      We shifted to new location about 25 KM away from the earlier location.
      We requested for reinstallation of the disc and service at Kottur on 12th Nov 2010. Promptly a SMS was received saying the call would be attended on 13th at 1320 Hrs.
      We were glad and immediately arranged to shift the Disc and modem urgently and waited for the mechanic to arrive.
      Nobody came.So on 13th we contacted the call centre when they clarified that it would be on 15th.
      !5th passed.16th to 24th also passed.we were contacting the call centre almost dailt two times when they said SORRY for the inconvenience and promised it would be attended the NEXT day.

      We are still waiting for the NEXT DAY .
      Only solacxe is that they promised that the period will be given additional to the available days.

        Since 20 days i m not the getting the proper signal quality from my Tatasky. Picture blur, installs, overlap and ultimately message comes out of that digicomp is not receiving any signal. Many times complaints at customer care tollfree no. but of no use. Problem continues to occur. No satisfactory response from Tatasky.

        GUYS do not buy TATASKY no good signal in early and afternoon hours all lies. Tatasky should increase their bandwidth and signal level like it was in 2007 and 2008 early.
        [protected] is my subscriber ID with Tata Sky. I've been a customer since 4 years now. I've been repeatedly complaining about poor signal since the last 2 months now. There is a problem of poor quality in the monsoons when the skies are overcast but the same problem is now existing in the winters too. Now they proclaim that it's probably due to wind conditions.
        They don't seem to register your complaints accurately.
        They send or outsource their technical work to some local people who have no clue about what needs to be done but very promptly the charges will get deducted from your account irrespective of how un satisfied the customer is.
        There is no way to speak to someone senior when you want to register your complaints. The same toll free number and always a different customer care executive on the other end.
        After reading some complaints on this forum I rechecked my package and realised that packages like everywhere tv are going on without my knowledge and I'm also being charged for it.
        It really looks like Tata Sky is taking their customers for a ride . Their only interest is the sale of the set top box and no concern about after sales.
        It would be helpful if you could look into the matter and intervene. There should be some way to wake them up instead of customers just having to bear with the standards that they are offering .

          I HAVE USED TATA SKY FOR FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS NOW , I HAVE SHIFTED HOMES SO I CAME UNDER THE RELOCATION ACT , I REALIZED THAT I WAS NOT GETTING HALF OF THE CHANNELS , SO I CALLED UP THE TECHNICIANS , AND HAD TWO DIFFERENT ONES WHO CAME AND COULDN'T GET THE JOB DONE AND I WAS REFEREED THE HELP LINE NUMBER WHICH DONT WORK HALF OF THE TIME , I MANAGED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE OFFICERS FOR 3 DAYS IN A ROW AND FELL FOR THEIR ANSWERS THAT I WILL GET HELP WITHIN 24 HRS AND I REALIZED AFTER 3 DAYS THAT ITS JUST A SCAM , THE OFFICERS JUST LIE EVERY TIME AND GIVE FALSE PROMISES , THEY JUST TRY TO INCREASE U R PHONE BILL OR FINISH THE BALANCE IN U R PHONE ..... DO NOT BUY TATA SKY .

          TataSky — NEVER BUY

          Bought tata sky in SEPTEMBER 2007 with the scheme of 6months free for Rs.4000. Thinking that all the channel will be available. After that Tatasky started reducing the no. of channels by putting tem into packages like lifestyle silver life style gold, sports package etc.for this you have to pay more (appx. 40-50rs per package)This is making fool out of people. Buy reducing their price to Rs.260/ they have infact increased the price.For example.. If I opt for Super saver pack it would cost me Rs.260. without the channels which are in lifestyle silver and life style gold and sport gold pack. Now if I want to see all the channel I have to pay Rs.30 per package that make another 90Rs for all 3 packages so the total comes to RS260+90=350per month.And all the packages have some important channels like lifestyle silver has BBC in it. And what about the people who bought tatasky under diff. scheme. Like I bought it under 6months free. Tata sky is chor The suck. I am getting it removed Secondly there is a lag in tatasky. And also some stupid numbers keep on apprearing right in the middle of the screen.
          exactly the same thing also happened with me..i want to move to a lower package ie from rs 260 per month(super saver pack) to rs 200 per month(family pack)..but instead of calling customer care several times and holding the line for a very long period no one is turning up and my mobile bill is also decreasing swiftly as they dont have any toll free service for customers...moreover i logged on to my tata sky to change my package but to my dismay there website also does not work and they r telling to call the customer care..i even dont know whether i will be able to change my package.they r cheating their customers...what a nice service tatasky is providing to their consumers...disgusting and disappointing..

          Tata Sky — DO NOT BUY

          Please don't buy tata sky. they are very geedy. they will provide such a package which will not fullfill your requirement. you have spend Rs.275 per month. let me prove myself.
          I want to see Colors/Cartoon Network (one of best family channel and another one is best kid channel). in basic package (Rs.160) will give you Colors, but not give you CartoonN. you can't purchase kids add-on(they don't have kids package). now you will think about medium pack(Rs. 200), now CN comes but colors will not. now you can purchase LIFE Style GOLD add-on in 45 rs. means spend 200+45 every month. when a person spend 245, why should not spen 275 for all channel? all these channel comes in Videocon D2H in 136 Rs.
          say bye-bye to tatasky!

          Tata Sky — Do not buy tata sky ever

          Tata sky the most pathatic and riduculous DTH service all over india.I had issue with singnal,whenver it used rain i was not able to see any chanel except 1 or 2 channel also i had a problem with Ten sorts from da day i got tata sky earlier days i launched complaint for ten sports and a engineer came but as i was busy he has to go back.ya!!!its my mistake however when after some months time i launched the same complaints no responce moreover they started to ask service charges i am really unhappy and upset with tata sky and gonna dumb it now such a riduculous service. a small advice for all the users who is planing to go for tata sky in coming days pllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!!!!!!!!!!!!do not buy it and waste ur valuable time

            It is highly painful to realise that a reputed company like TATA sky is so irresponsible and unproffessional. I want to upgrade my package and have been trying to contact the customer care through all possible means spending around Rs200 on my mobile, and precious six hours, but of no avail. These irresponsible people should be sued in the consumer court for their callous attitude and all people should be advised to not to subscribe TATA sky, but to go for other better options.

                i am a coustomer of tata sky since last 4 years at Dharmanagar, Tripura. Very recently i am being tranferred to Belonia, Tripura.Before my departure i had personally contacted to disconnect earlier connection and necessary formalities for reconnection at the new place was made. ID No;[protected] was assigned on 18th july and i was told that within a day or two the installation will be made. Very surprisingly the work is not yet done till today i.e.6th August,2010 . this is really heartening from a professionally managed company like TATA SKY LTD. I hope the team would come forward for ensuring better services in future.

                  TataSky — non delivery on the digicom

                  sir i have purchased a digi com on the 1st of nov i was tolld that the same will deliverd to my place within 48 hrs but it was not done so inspite me calling the call center i was informed that itold them to delever the digicom on 4th nov but ihave never said them to so the id no is [protected] please try to keep up the promise and do not spoil the name &fame of tata

                    I had told my local dealer to recharge for Rs 1100 on 28/04/2010 for which he gave me a slip and said that recharge will be done. Today when my tv was disconnected i got to know that he had not done the recharge don't know where the money went. On asking him he said he had done the recharge and the amount is used already.
                    When i made him speak to the tata sky customer care, the customer care said that the recharge is not done and the dealer said he'll do the recharge now itself.
                    I told him that i do not want the recharge now i'll move to the consumer court as its been 3 months since i have asked him to do the recharge..

                    We are bonafied customer as we taken Disc connection with Digi-camp of Tata sky 3 month ago, now we required two more connection in the same building at A E-27 New town AA- I Kolkata - 700156.from your dealer M/s. Sunshine, Kestopur, Kol. Your dealer representative Mr Ranjit came and installed two connection out of which one at right place and other in place were we did not asked to install. Therefore, one connection is working and another is cannot be use on account of install at wrong place. We paid Rs.2000/- and extra Rs.200/-. Now when we calling to rectifying the wrong connection he is refusing to do the same, as when ever we phone he is saying he will come tomorrow.since 11.12.10, but till date he has not turned to rectify the same. We have spoken to Ms.Soma Das at Sunshine, and spoken to Mr.Ranjit who is refusing to ratify the mistake. We presume the reason for his indifferent behavior is as he asked Rs.500/- for extra connection ( add-on).

                    Kindly arrange to do the needful. It is our earnest request to take proper action against the dealer. As they jeopardising your brand name.Kindly look into the matter on priority basis.

                      I didnt recharge my Tata Sky TV for 2 months as i was out of country. when i am back i just wanted to ercharge. but saw that there is no signal coming to my receiver. so after a great struggle i called Tata SKY customer care and reached mr. rajesh (from ccs). He reached my ID through my mobile number then he said some steps to repair the problem. but didnt work. As there is no signal coming. He then asked me to recharge my ID number as they will cut 350 rs for a visit of an engineer. I asked why shoul i pay a default of Tata sky which i am suffernig. he replied after 1 year warranty ends and customers should pay for these visits of engineers. It was an amazing conversations with this gentleman from Tata sky while i was insisting him why do i pay of a visit of an engineer in my own even we dont know what is the problem. then he cut the phone. i hope it was recorded and any other executive will see this rude service! to a customer. and i suggest my delhi collleagues to not to gp for Tata sky tv services as they will suffer. I will stop using Tata sky services and will buy immediately an another service provider.

                      I know someone who faced similar problem and the following step may help you out there is a service offered by Tata Sky which is called Temporary suspension - in which subscribers can suspend their viewing services temporarily for a minimum period of a month and a maximum period of three months. You should check whether your account status is active or not it is mostly recommended to go for Temporary suspension on such occasions (vacation, travel, exams etc). The customercare will try their best to resolve the case on call itself because technician visit also cost the Co. alongwith the subscriber as most of the technicians are third party. Under AMC tech visit is covered and so for the first year warranty period tech visit is for free but after that charges will be applied and this is applicable to all the DTH providers. If your account is inactive they can definitely set it up from their end you will only have to subscribe to a pack of your choice and there will also not be any need for a tech visit.

                        Before some days i'have forgetten to take topup of my tata sky so company dis countinue my services but yesterday i have diposited amount for 6 month recharge sceme service to tata sky exprience zone raja park jaipur but still my services not start so we all are very angry becoz customer care executive not attanding call about that so pls try to take any action aggaint tata sky company or can we submit the complaint to Jaipur cort if tata sky company will gave me help asap so i agreed but if not take extremely action so i'll be choose legal action.....

                          I am customer of TATASKY sevice residing at Mulund/ Mumbai city. My next recharge to the TATA SKY was due on may 2011 but my service was discontinued by TATA SKY on 22/07/2010 with unknown reason. TATASKY's IVRS number is hopeless. There is no responsible person available in TATA SKY who can solve my problem. I have spoken to many numbers of people on TATA SKY on [protected] like Ashish, Anil etc etc. but they will not solve your problem. It seems that I have invited trouble by paying money to TATASKY. I did blunder taking TATA SKY service of DTH. They have cheated me. They are 420 people.Before complete disconnection at random (even though i have lot of balance amount in TATASKY account) they have suddenly disconnected four movie channel. On asking the reason for this they kept silence.I feel like lodging police complaints against TATASKY service for cheating me as there is nobody in TATASKY for redressal of complaints.

                          I too have taken Tata Sky subscription. Recently some new software loading started automatically on it & after that it is total black out. I have lodged complaint at their helplines no. but total irresponsible answers saying - 'our engineer has attended your problem, etc." I asked where's my sign, they became quite. On further questioning they only say - 'hmm, hmm, hmm.' . They only give dates thru' sms but all false hopes & lies.Thus they are making mockery of the customers & also of themselves. 10 days have passed to my complaint, but nobody turned up till date.

                            I have recently bought a Tata Sky Set-Top Box along with my new apartment in Sector 4 Vaishali, Ghaziabad. I had called uo the Tata Sky customer care no. on 10.07.10 and requested them to install the Set-top box at my residence. A Tata Sky Engg. came and cheked the system but he did not install the system reasoning weak signal and that he does not have the required instruments to complete the installation. He promised us to come back the following day. Since then, it has been 4 days and I have been calling Tata Sky Customer Care No. every day for completion of my installation, but everytime they are only giving some or the other excuses and committing it to be completed within the day.
                            No body from Tata Sky has reverted back so far.

                            Tata sky is most unprofessional company in the dish tv business. They are the most cheater. I have purchased a Tatasky digicom bearing sr. no.[protected]days before. But still date they have not installed the same in my place. Everyday they are promising to come and install, but all in vain. I have made so many calls to them, but getting standard answer engineers already taken slot for installation, but not yet come. I have taken 3days leave for the same, but their peopel have not yet come. Please do not buy Tata sky dish else you cry all your life.

                            Tata sky is most unprofessional company in the dish tv business. Customer Service is on the Top of All. I have recieved Setp top Box on 2nd June08 & committment was to install the same immediately after 24hrs of information to Tata Sky. but the gimic behind the story is on[protected] which is supposed to be 24x7 service with associates, i am not at all getting connected to associates after 5 minutes longers auto answering. Since Monday onwards i had not less that 20 to 30 call holding for Associates to help me out. My children are getting frustrated as based on committment of Tata Sky, i have not gone for local Cable connection. This is highest disgusting situation in the Tatas- Group companys going for ISO & TLPs.

                            Tata Sky — after 4 days not installed dish

                            tata sky first instruments they delivered within 6 hours after requesting. for installation of dish they are continue saying our customer will come today and making daily greate promised but they are not come yet, even they are not attending the phone also, if attending then simply say this is wrong/giving another answers. in my whole life did see like that poor services. i will never suggest to anybody take tata sky new connection.

                            I have purchased tata sky online on June 2, 2010 after the transaction was done I got my transaction ID. But, after that I have never received any call from Tata Sky confirming my payment. I called them on June 3, 2010 and accessed my records and told me that it will be installed in a couple of days. I again called on June 4, 2010 they asked my phone number ([protected]) and accessed my records.

                            As today (7 June 2010) is 6th day after my order, I called them up and now they are saying that there is no record on my name with the given phone number (Automatically all my records have vanished!!!). There is only inquiry request. I tried to convince them that I have placed my order online after 20 min of discussion and waiting time, they have accessed my record somehow and now they are saying that they will again process it and it may take upto 7 days to get my set top box and installation, and given me service request number- ds[protected] to communicate further.

                            This is a total rip off from them, as I can definitely not wait for 7 days again with keeping my new TV in box. I suggest you to take some appropriate action asap.
                            Update: I got my tata sky set top box in mail, but still not sure about whats wrong with their call center
                            It has been unfortunate for you, my personal experience has been very good. The sales team were very co-operative with me and called me before sending the delivery. To solve your issue you should connect to the customer-care and report your grievance of non-installation and also provide details of the previous engineer. I am sure they will definitely assist you in the installation process. Weak signal may be the case if the dish is installed in a low reception area. hopefully your problem should be sorted.

                            Tata Sky — Installation of TATA sky

                            I called TATA sky on 19th August to get a connection. on 20th august i recieved 4 phone calls from them to pay the entire amount. I have paid up 4049/-. I followed up with them on 21st (friday) Saturday, sunday and 23rd (monday) to install the service. still no one has come to install the service
                            - call center executives are most unhelpful and refuse a refund and dont give a time when I can get my connection
                            - I want all my money back and I want to cancel the connection
                            -Tejaswari your call center executive had promised me a full refund if the service was not installed in 48 hours
                            - Sachin Tikone has promised the same.

                            Today an engineer came to my residence and left the box without installing it … PLEASE CANCEL MY CONNECTION AND GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK

                            TATA SKY SUCKS!!!!! we decided to get a Tata sky connection on 22 Oct...so we cald JUST DIAL & asked fr sum options.....immediately we started getting several calls from companies selling TATA sky.....we choose a J.S ELECTRONICS..who sent his rep wt an installation brochure...the guy insisted on cash payment before installation....a practice which seemed strange as you would normally pay after services provided ....he took a cash payment of rs.3050 & agreed to send a technician at sharp 11.oo am fr installation ......after several calls from 11 to 1.45 pm...a technician arrived & on inspection the area ..said that it would not b possible to fix as he had not carried sum equipment.....strange again as he ws supposed to come prepared fr the installation....spoke to sum one by the name of Rakesh Cahturvedi who promised that the technician would b here at 5pm to do the needful...its 5.45pm....& there is no sign of the technician.....A WORD OF CAUTION TO ALL WHO WISH TO FIZ A tata sky CONNECTION.....DO NOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT TILL THE JOB IS DONE.......THEY ARE BIGGGGGGGGGG CHEATS....

                            My complain in writing was like this.

                            I am a user of Tata Sky since 2009. I relocated on 24-25 Apr 13 and contacted CSR Delhi for a second set top box. The CSR (Himanshu I think) told me that relocation charges would be waivered for me. Incidentally it was only fitment of antenna. I recharged Rs 100 on that day. Subsequently I recharged Rs 514 again. When I later saw my statement I realised that Rs 300/ has been debited from my account contrary to what was promised. On 11 May vide complaint No 1-[protected] I raised a complaint to erroneous charging for installation. I was told someone would revert to me. Till 16 May no one did. On 16 May I again contacted CSR (Altaf) who told me no such complaint existed. On asking him to lodge a complaint he refused and also declined to give a complaint no. after a lot of persuasion and wait he connected me to a supervisor by the name of Aaron who not only was rude but also un-willing to listen. Aaron refused to do anything about the issue and suggested that I can raise the issue at any level but Tatasky will not credit the amount to my account. He did give me a C No 1-[protected].
                            I fail to understand as to why a company cann’t decide on it’s policies and the customer service personnel cheat the customer’s by sugar coated poison pills. Rs 300 is a small amount but it is the ethics and policy which is in question here.

                            Can you please revert to me on this issue at the earliest before I raise the levels.

                            this is what happened on 18 May 13

                            Some one called Rekha called he up on 18 May 13. and to my horror she disclosed that both the c nos given by me are not registered. which can only mean that either the call centre in delhi is not a authorised call centre or Tatasky is giving a c no but not registering it in their system. both of which are not only against the law but in my opinion they are anti customer.

                            she also very apologetically said she could not revert my Rs 300. which is understandable because if the company has decided to do fraud it will in any case, and the customer has no way to find out how it does because the call centre people don't give any written confirmation nor a confirmation by mail or SMS.

                            i hope some one in TATASKY take some action on

                            a. returning my Rs 300
                            b. its employee who have taken my complaint, given me a fraud complaint no.
                            c. assure that the no. of call centre in delhi given on their web site is correct.

                              Sir,

                              I had booked a new DTH connection, of Tata Sky, online on date 02/07/2010. After booking I have not received the hardware until I called to Tata Sky, after that I received the hardware through courier on date 09/07/2010 (8 days after booking). The hardware I received, was already registered to another person in different city. So when I tried I was unable to online register with that hardware (with Digicomp and Digicard No.). I also have called so many times to costumer care (around 2.5 hrs talked) but still problem has not been solved. I have complained about this problem to local Gwalior Dealer (From where I received hardware). He said that there is no problem, and advised me to complete my installation, after that he will solve the problem. He sent an engineer and completed the installation on Sunday 11/07/2010, and also gave me subscribers ID [protected], but again when I tried to register with this subscriber ID then againm I found that this ID has already been registered in the name of some other person whose name is Prateek Tyagi. Now after all these headaches I would request you to kindly have a look into this matter as it has been a matter of tension for me. Its an earnest request to resolve out the matter as soon as possible.

                                My name Is Aditya Sharma and I have been using Tata Sky as my DTH service operator for the past 2 years.. my account id is [protected]. It has been 10 days since my digicom is not working..had been notified to the customer service thru emails and phone calls but nobody has come yet to rectify it and Tata Sky has been charging my daily rent for services which I am unable to see.. my digicom was replaced in April 2010 and I had to pay 500 rs for that now they are again asking me to pay this amount in case if there is any fault in that.. also I got my account recharged for 500 on 30june which shows 74 negative balance on 12july. There is a deduction of 350 for visit charges which never happened.. there has been several cases o[censored]nnecessary charges in last two years.. Nobody bothers in customer service and field team to take action to fix these problems..keep saying that it will be done and reversed..field team says somebody will come in 48-72 hrs whenever they communicate with me.. I m sick and tired now cause of these services..like to get rid of them at the same time like to teach them a lesson so that such stealing from customers can be stopped.. please advise..                                   We have installed the Tata Sky digicomp provided by the Society which was purchased about one and half year before. But on installation the digicomp never started. We have lodged the complaint with the Tatasky Help line attended by Ms Varsha (?) on 28/06/2010 at about 22.30 hrs and the Complaint no [protected] was given to us, saying that the engineer will attend the complaint within 24 hours. Nothing has happened since then. My old age parents are waiting for the TV to start. We are facing lot of loneliness and hope that our Complaint will be attended at the earliest. Or we may have to escalate to elsewhere ..?

                                      Hi,

                                      On 13th of June 2010, I had requested a connection on Tata Sky at my Rented Flat (Details of which are: Flat No.3, Plot No.32, Vishal Sneh Society, Bombay Sappers Colony, Wadgaon Sheri, Pune - 411014.).
                                      I had been asked to made a payment of 1599 INR which I made Immediately through my Tata Card - Credit Card on Phone at around 19:15 on 13th June 2010 itself and I had been promised that installation will be completed within 48hrs and I will be contacted for appointment also.
                                      Till the evening of 15th June 2010 no appointment was made, installation was still a distant dream. When I started calling customer care on[protected] from the morning of 16th June 2010 response was not at all pleasing despite the Service Level Agreement – SLA (Committed 48hr) was well breached and on every occasion my call was put on hold for long durations and minimum 10 minutes of hold seems to be a regular affair. When I started complaining about it, respondent promised me to call back but even that didn’t happen.
                                      Today on 17th June 2010 at around 10:20 AM I received a call stating that I will again receive a call from installation department for appointment and installation will be done in the next 48hr, since they have received the request on 16th June 2010.
                                      Now, no one seems to be taking the responsibility of breaching the SLA. Its look like Tata Sky is offering me a favor by giving me a service despite receiving money from my side they no shame for giving a pathetically slow service.

                                      TataSky — no hardware installed

                                      I had paid Rs 4049/- on 2nd September 2010 towards a new installation of Tatasky and a 1 yr subscription on the condition that the system would be installed within 48 hrs. However much to my disgust and inconvenience I was subsequently informed by a person at their Pune call centre that the 48 hrs is equivalent to 6 days . According to him the working time per day is 8 days and hence 48 hrs on prorata basis is 6 days. All my complaints to the respective enquiry section and to their CEO remain unanswered till date. It is rather sad to learn that a group company of Tata's who are so disciplined and known the world over for their sincerity is behaving in such a unprofesional manner.
                                      Mr Ratan Tata pl intervene .not for my sake, but surely in the interest of reputation of your esteemed group.

                                        Antenna fell down from its place. Complaint not recorded by Mr Rakesh and his Senior Ms Tanvi by disconnecting the phone.(Tel No [protected])
                                        I have paid for AMC and was clearly told over phone that all types of repairs would be done free of cost.
                                        Only my dish antenna got unfixed in our society. Whose reponsibility would it be if it fell on someone ?
                                        Such famous companies should keep commitments
                                        The antenna is lying unattended outside and the responsibility is that of tata sky. They should get it repaired within 24 hrs
