I own a TATA SKY connection with consumer id number [protected] registered in my own name.
I ahd made an online recharge for Rs 600/ on 26 Dec 2009 through the web portal of TATA SKY through net banking in ICICI account[protected] which is also in my name.
The message of a successful transaction was displayed with transaction number from ICICI Bank as MICI [protected].
The amount was debited from my account even.
However, the same has not been reflected by TATA SKY till date and i have had to call and waste about Rs[protected] on their helpline numbers which are half the time playing recorded voices.
ICICI has washed its hands off saying that the transaction is successful.
However TATA SKY also does not accept the transaction.
I ahve made numerous calls and also mailed to both agenciews to solve this issue, however, both are blaming each other.
I intend taking legal action and sue both for the harrassment.
Kindly advise.

Hi. Sandeep Chanana,
As per you recharge of Rs 600/ on 26 Dec 2009 you have also received an approval for the same. In seldon cases ever will your amount be debited along with you receving an acknowledgement message that will say processed a successful transaction. Since you have a transaction no. it will be of great help to hold evidence of payment. What was the recharge for/ package? did action take place for the amount you have recharged since it must have been activated but not reflected in your subscriber id countercheck. The intial stage of each and every cuatomercare is directed to IVR. Major problem arises if you do not receive what you have recharged for. The customer care should help you out with the details of your account. The amount has been debited from your account bank transaction details too can help you bring out the area of expense.

    In my area recharge coupon availability is almost nil. You have recently discontinued the coupon card. I do not use credit card. Please inform me how I could recharge the rental. Also, please do not disconnect my line. I shall recharge at the earliest of its availability.

    I really agree with the complaints available in the net. I do not get some Bengali channels like, 24 ghanta, Rupasi Bangla, Tara musik, Tara bangla etc. Whether this complaints may be solved?

    also ITZ cash cardz was introduced to recharge account. These different modes offer flexibility in recharge. As of regional channels Tata Sky is on the move and gradually adding regional channels. Tata Sky has recently added new bengali channel SONY AATH and still more to come.

      Hi ,

      I recently renewed my Tata Sky connection which had an offer of a polo watch for 499 / - which says the worth of the actual watch is 3500 /- . This is a pathetic offer and a low standard business model by Tata's which i am surprised , i think the Tata Sky management is highly non professional .

      This watch is not even worth 300/- Rs and when it reached me it was without any invoice and was non functional , after several mails to [protected]@tatasky.com , there is no one who responds back . Tata customer support has no clue to this Polo watch vendor , this product is no where worth to be even displayed and used

      Shame on Tata Sky and Deal4all for this bad business acumen and not responding to the customers .

      Polo watch regd. MRP is worth Rs 3500 /-. Tata Sky promotions and offers are much more than just provision for channels they help customers to win loads of freebies, goodies and discount on sub-products. The option of participating in any promotional scheme is voluntary. These additional benefits make the brand more interactive as customers can obtain benefits from the Co. which inturn raises its goodwill. I am unsure of receiving gifts with invoice but incase of electronics it will be very useful to preserve invoice to get aftersale service. Since the watch was non-functional low battery could be the problem. Customer care must be aware of each and every Co. offers to handle such situations efficiently.

      I too fell for this offer from Tata Sky. My Sub Id is - [protected]. The Polo Watch delivered is a fake and a low quality product. Something which is not expected from Tata Brand, dunno if this hurts their reputation or not. After talking to their customer service manager, they arranged to take the watch back and deliever a working piece to me.
      And the main vendor @deal4all should be brought to justice if this fooling of customers has to stop.
      Why do people like TATA and SBI fall for such low level publicity when only their good service can win them a good rapport with their customers.
      All said and done its time that we refrain from falling for such gullible offers from reputed Brand Names like TATA.

      I underdstand that you too came across similar problem but Tata Sky works on ethics they did arrange to take the watch back and deliever a working piece to you. This is to protect the interest of the customer from third party as you are not entitled to warranty it is a benefit that you received a new watch. As mentioned providing only channels is not the only aspect Tata Sky aims at focusing as it expands and reaches out to customers with such secondary functions. Being voluntary in nature it does not compel the customer by any means. Offers and promotion help customer to get interactive with the brand and venture into new activities hence building & gaining regular updates and additional features the Co. has to offer.
      Even I experienced the same. Its really low standard watch. Please do NOT buy this.
      I too have a very bad experience with Tatasky on this POLO watch. They know how to cheat. I paid the money but they didnt deliver it till more than 2 months.Then when I complained, they said that vendor have cancelled my order & will refund the amount to my account.

      After reading your comments about that worst quality watch, now I understood that I am bit lucky that vendor has cancelled the order.

      Any way cleater is always cleater. They can cheat in many ways :)

        On Dec 26, 2009:

        1. Paid Rs 1500-00 for Second Connection in Previous I.D. i.e. Rs 125*12=1500 125*12= 1500-00

        2. Paid Rs 450-00 for Add on Life Style Gold Pack 450-00

        3. Paid Rs 3025 for the annual Subscription for Super Saver pack 3025-00

        4. Paid Rs 1599 for the purchase of New Digicomp (Set top box) 1599-00

        Total Rs 6574-00

        The installation had been made on 30th Dec 2009



        Kindly look in to the following factor:
        Current Balance as on Friday, January 01, 2010 is Rs 1,383=56

        Due Date is 03/12/2010

        1. About two days back the balance was Rs 1500/- and due date was of June 2011

        2. In one day it comes down near about Rs 5/- and due date remains the same of June 2011.

        3. On 1st Jan 2010 when I checked my balance it is 1383.56 and on TV Screen of TATA SKY it has been mentioned that Rs 100/- deducted for Unstandard installation. Though on the visit of installation to Second connection Rs 50/- had been collected by the Service Engineer and it has not been declared that it is NON-Standard installation and no approval from the customers are being taken if it is unstandard installation.

        4. Tata’s name has not ethics of business. You should reconsider thrice to opt for TATA’s product.

        5. Tata is a great cheater you should not blindly trust on them. They have made draconian laws of their own.

        6. You have to build clean image not to defraud with the customers by adopting cheap tactics.

        7. I made numerous complaints with TATA Sky that there are number of pixallations on the TV Screen. But it was not removed. According to The Tata SKY that if there is problem of pixellations then we shall get it checked. As it was a new installation and free of cost has been promised but TATA has dodged me by charging Rs 100/- for Non Standard installation and Rs 50/- in cash. Still my balance that how much I have paid is not mentioned on the Account Balance in my https://mytatasky.com/portal/auth/portal/subs/My%20Account/My%20Balance;jsession... Portal.

        i got my conection on last monday on 20th dec. the lady Vijeta who took the request promised me that connection would be done within 48 hours. butr i gave her date on 24th for installation.

        today in the morning i called up to find out 1st person promised me that sme1 senior wud call it didnt happen, nexct it was gaurav who promised that within 2 hours sme1 will call it didnt happen.
        after 2hrs i called up again to speak to amit, who seem to understand my frustration i had demand
        1. give me compensation or
        2. pay me back my money for delay right away or
        3. get a set top box from local dealer and give me connection right away, he said that he cant honor any of my demand he put the line to Ms vandana, who promised me that by 4pm 2day sme will call and resolve the issue. which didnt happen, when i called up at 4:20pm i was transferred to Ms Anita who banged the fone without hearing my complain.
        later some other lady promised me that my connection would be disconnected the no. was 1-[protected].


        i want to understand
        1. why do you promise if you cant deliver
        2. why your people run away from client who are upset
        3. do you think you are making TATA's very proud??

          I got new DTH connection form Tata Sky & unfortunately the digicom was faulty.Since it is under warranty,I requested the company to replace it with the new one,straightaway they refused,finally I got old one for new.I felt cheated,I paid for new & got old.
          2nd incident in the row,I got recharge with Rs8500,they started harassing me by calling every now & then to buy more & more package,I bought some & suddenly,the money was removed from my account & it was showing negative,again I was cheated.This was their marketting strategy,but customer is suffering mentally & financially.Plz do something,so that somebody else will not be cheated in the same manner.

          Hi Mr. Jagbir Singh,
          At the time of installation it is advisory to have a thorough check with the functionality and gain as much information as possible about its features. However, after some days if it goes faulty due to certain mishap and since, you are in the warranty period this should be backed up and you should receive a replacement for the same. You should not be entitled to charges until you are in the warranty and gain full advantage of the same. Terms & conditions of the offer need to be run through as in some cases the warranty falls an exception. Recharge is secured and amount cannot be deducted so easily unless you have applied. Customer has the choice and can make decision you have the right to choose or deny it is the Co.s duty to inform about the latest offerings and so on call it updates on the latest offerings and services.

            Third E-mail: SECOND REMINDER IN WRITING, IN ADDITION TO NUMEROUS CALLS.

            Subject: Pathetic Customer and Engineering Services of TATA SKY, THANKS FOR SPOILING THE DAY AND GOT GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR SERVICE.
            I am the old customer of TATA SKY. I took add on connection with my already running connection of TATA SKY and paid all the dues for one year in advance.
            1. Paid Rs 3025/- for annual subscription for Super Saver pack. The dealer has not provided any receipt to me for this.
            2. Paid Rs 1500-00 for one year Subscription i.e. Rs 125*12=1500. When in all the schemes the payment made in advance is customer friendly schemes. As in Life Style Gold pack if we pay for 10 months the company gives us the credit for 12 months. That is only Rs 45/- per month scheme. As I paid for 12 months in advance the company has not given any concession to me. Now I am entitled to claim for One year interest for the payment made in advance which the company has kept in its account. But TATA’s have great reputation and so if they don’t keep the interest of customers in mind then I am sure the company will lose its customers in long run.
            3. I got call from TATA SKY from its Service Centre No. [protected] that tomorrow the Service Engineer will come to your place to install the ADD –ON connection with Parental connection I kept on waiting for the arrival of the Engineer but no one reported.
            4. I got call from Tata Sky Bangalore office from [protected] and I told to the Madam on the line about my grievances that I am unable to register in TATA SKY and provided the details of my account. As I had previously maintaining my VSNL connection so my E-mail i.d. was [protected]@vsnl.net but from the last about one year I have opted the BSNL broadband connection so obviously me E-mail i.d. maintained with VSNL will also be inactivated. I narrated this grievances and told to the concerned Madam to make changes in my Biodata furnished with the new E-mail i.d. She made the changes as per her reply. But when today I tried to get the registration I could not do so. A great mockery of Customer Care. IT TAKE YEARS TO UPDATE THE RECORDS. The Woman who called me was asking when the Engineer will come to install the new connection? She needs updating from me and there is no body to confirm about the date and time of installation.
            5. I we keep on making complaints it seems that it fall on deaf ears. If TATA SKY has no provision to install the connection then also there is nothing to worry, kindly remove all the services provided with equipment and I shall willingly opt for the local Cable connection those can come to attend the complaint at a phone call even.
            6. If the Engineer has no time to visit then why he had committed to come tomorrow. Secondly there is not time when he will come. Thirdly there is Power-cuts and due to power-cuts it will not be possible to check the efficiency of the connection. So, keep in mind about the power running aspect.
            7. Keep in consideration the signal problem. Last time when I had installed the Dish there was very low signal and there were too much pixels on the screen.
            8. Tata Sky has no Engineer employed on permanent basis. They people pick daily wages persons those are not professional, and have no basic manners to talk and communicate even.
            9. Is there any solution with TATA SKY to my problems?
            10. Should I shift to Cable or to Airtel those have atleast good customer Care.
            11. Yesterday I kept on dialing to the Cusomer Care number 0172- the Chandigarh landline number and got a wonderful experience that your call in on wait, keep patience and don’t get frustrated as I got hold of 7 minutes to get connected, waited for 25 minutes of STD call for being directed from one man to another, keep on dialing one person then to another then the new number will be given to you to solve the problem.
            12. TATA SKY means the Customer Care is in the sky and the so called engineers are existing in heaven. To please them one have to meditate continuously for years.
            13. When my brand new box which is facing the dust will be installed. I don’t know. Someone angel will come from the sky to get it installed till then meditate for his arrival.
            14. Tata has not approached the customer to get his connection recharged, the facilities to recharge is available 25 Kms from our place. The payment made of one year in advance has no credit by TATA which is clear-cut violation of Advances received by the company under RBI guidelines. As the company has received payment for the preceding one without give any benefit to the customer.

            Tata Sky — Pathetic CC and engineering Services

            Hi,
            Folllowing is a mail i wrote to [protected]@tatasky.com..These guys are incorrigible to say the least...


            "This is a formal complaint regarding the poor QoS being provided to me by Tata sky.I have written to Tata Sky before as well and my complaints seems to have fallen on deaf ears.I sincerely request Tata sky to remove all there services and equipment (if any) and spare me for good.
            In case the one who reads this mail has some dignity and forwards it to the concerned people so that some thing positive comes out of it.
            I desire to publish this in various internet forums and discussion boards to make people aware of the ground realities.

            Following are few pointers which demonstrate that how pathetic the customer services and engineering services being rendered to the
            customers are.

            I have relocated from my current address to a new address and wanted a relocation of my Tata sky connection.After putting a online request fro the same I had to go through the following

            1. Had to call repeatedly the engineer to visit my place as it was weekend and the only time I could afford to stay at home.

            2.The engineer committed to come at 10:00 AM but after numerous calls finally turned up at around 2:30 PM .In the meantime I had to stay put at home waiting for the engineer and forgo any other commitment for the day

            3.The engineer told me that the relocation fee was Rs 600 (an exorbitant amount considering the services you guys provide) though they could not find any place to install the dish as their was some angle and signal problem

            4.The engineers hired or recruited were not professional at all and had no clue whatsoever as to how to go about the job.They didn't had any basic manners to talk and communicate.

            5.Though the engineers manage to put a wire through a multi point connection and i was able to see the signal coming and watch tv for good half an hour (please note that the engineer not installed any dish and the only wire they used was less than 2 meters longs and still I was made to sign a note saying that am willing to pay Rs 600).Had it been the end i would have been happy to shell out Rs 600

            6.Once the engineers departed ;i left for some personal work and in the evening when I came back and decided to watch tv;their was no signal.

            7.I called up the engineer and he promised to come on Monday and do check

            8.Nothing happened on Monday till the time I called up help line[protected] and this seems to be the worst helpline i have ever dialled to.
            The thing about tata sky is that they dont have any toll free numbers and every time you dial the helpline they eiher dont care or hang up the phone after picking it up.Incase you have the good fortune of someone picking up the call;he will talk endlessly all sort of crap except providing you the solution that finally you will hang up after an hour since you are paying for the call as well.

            9.I made numerous call to helpline and they finally agreed on tuesday morning to raise a ticket or the work order they call.
            They told me to call again when I am in front of my tv and agreed to send a engineer in the evening.
            As all of you must have guessed by now;no engineer turned up and when I called up from front of my tv using my mobile and navigated through to the IVR and erached the required person he kept me transferring me to some other department after listening to all my vowes for full 10 minutes .this happened not once, twice or thrice but four times and finally i lost all the hope I had.

            10.I tried the last trick by dialing the engineer who was supposed to be there and his reply just put the last nail in the coffin.According to him my new address was still to be updated in their records (which was done by tata sky only 2 backs and after charging 600 rupees) and some of his superiors name (finally i got one name at least) 'Chirag Sir ' has told him to do this some other day.

            This wins hands down the oscar for worst customer care ever...i hope to switch to good old cable soon or try may be some other vendor (Airtel should be good as they do have a slightly better CC in place already)

            I understand the recurring lodge of complaints and enlongated process of setting up your child connection has created a minset of not so up to date customer service. Sale is a lenghty process its scope has various interconnected channels for its smooth flow from manufacturer to end user. This is intricate although each and every step is taken by the CO. with due care one factor or barrier effecting its flow collapses the process. Usually if order is placed on call then a technician is appionted to get the connection set up at the desired location and the technician is in charge then onwards. However, any shortage, late arrival and misconception on the part of the technician is intimated by the customer to the customer care this is an exception and drawback to CC as the technician is the third party to the Co. and his actions of misleading are only brought to notice by the customer itself although not always. The complex of you issue need to be sorted part by part discrepancy in the amount paid and credited also resorts the matter to a recheck, it is mandate to ask for receipt on payment of any and every payment made it stands as a legal proof. To attain futher assistance on signal strenght you should check with the installer at the time of installation the where signal strength is at par. Towards your issue customer care will do best in resolving the depth of the matter also thank you for acknowledging the complaint.

              I have purchased LCD of BENQ 22,inch on 12th DECEMBER 2009., The mentioned assured free gift was TATA SKY CONNECTION I had sent all the necessary documents for caliming free DTH along with BENQMonitor TV to M/s SMPL. I had received an sms stating that " your form no : 289001for the free gift TATA SKY DTH (6 Months) in the scheme of Monitor TV BENQ. But the free gift not yet receivedSo kindly send me the present status of my application and do needful to send the same at the earliest.

              Dear tata sky,
              My subscriber I d is changing like, what we change the program channel .Every one or two week its change.I buy TATA sky but its showing me my subscriber number like bata price some time customer care say this no is from chatiesghad some time Chennai. Actually I am in mumbai.and every time showing me diffrent due date, due amount.. Now I don't know where to go. Call center is use less for such problem. I visited worli office . Last they solved problem. But each and every time I don't have time to visit there. Now last four day my subscription no. Change again.

                Dear Executive,
                My subscriber ID for tatasky is [protected]. It is in the name of my ward Mr. Pankaj Mishra. My registered phone with you is [protected]

                I am sorry to re-write to you that my problem didnot reconcile. I would like to discontinue/deactivate my service and relationship with Immediate Effect from Tatasky. I also request for refund due to following reasons.
                1. The Installation and service from TataSky was NOT satisfactory.
                2.Your representative and service engineers who visited my home are ROWDY and Non-co-operative.

                I would also like to mention that one of your service representative Mr GOVIND misbehaved who was called by Mr Sanjay who was here to attend complain to FIX NO SIGNAL. My complain remains un attended which was scheduled for 12noon today (20/12/2009).

                I would wait for your quick response and indisciplinary action against Mr Govind otherwise I may opt for FIR against him for his bad-conduct and misbehaviour on-duty from TataSky to attend complain.

                  I have two Tata Sky Plus connections (1 in Chennai - [protected] and 1 in Hyderabad [protected]). The Chennai connection has been giving me problems since installation with colours getting distorted. Despite several complaints and visits the problem has not been sorted out. I requested them to change the Digicom box as I suspect it is faulty but this has not been done. Since I do not live in Chennai (my mother does) I am unable to follow this closely. They are now insisting that I pay charges for the visit despite the problem persisting since installation. This is absolutely unacceptable to me. Please get this sorted out at the earliest.

                  Hi Arun,
                  Since you have two connection as you have mentioned you are only facing problem with the STB in Chennai. You must have visited the place to get the problem fixed but there could be a possibility that the reason of its colour diastortion arised due to the television. If possible try watching a DVD movie or with any other external drive (VCD) and see whether the problem still persists if it does than it is a TV problem and if it doesn't than you may have to allot a technician visit. Technician visit is charged by every Co. not only in Dth but other sectors too. If the problem is due to the digicomp and if you are in warranty it is you're right and you will deinately receive a new box for no cost however, out of warranty will be charged. Contact the CC and they will help you out.
                  The TV is perfectly alright - it is a full high definition Sony Bravia - there is no problem with the picture or colour when I connect through a DVD player, Blu Ray player or Sony Playstation.

                  It is ridiculous to pay for a problem which has existed since installation. I checked with my advocate who concurs with my view.

                    Hi,

                    Today I have topped up Rs 200 through Dealer. Is more than 2 hours gone, but neither I got the confirmation to my Mobile nor in Set Top Box. When I checked with Dealer, they told TataSky Server slow, but when I checked with TataSky Help Desk , they told that Dealer didn't have sufficient balance for customer subscription recharge.

                    Strange! I am stuck in between Dealer & Tata Sky Help Desk - I am not sure why recharge is too slow or whether my Rs 200 is gone!

                      Hi,

                      TataSky provides only "Star Ananda" as 24 hours news channel. There is "24 Ghonta" is is also equally popular in West Bengal - Airtel Dish Provides this bengali news channel.

                      Tata Sky also does not provide "Aat (8)" bengali popular channel, where as Airtel again provides it. If Tata Sky does not includes these popular bengali channel - I am planning to move to Airtel Dish TV after my annual subscription ends even before.

                        Hi,

                        I had subsscribed Tata Sky knowing that it broadcast "CeBeeBies" Kids channel. I was in UK for most of the time since my baby was 6 months old. He brought up seeing CeBeeBies Channel in UK. Most popular programs were - "Pip In", "Brum", "Role Moso", "Story Maker", so on. But here in India Tata Sky is bluffing its Customers as they repeat only few of programs.

                        Can I request to pass message to Tata Sky to review the programs they broadcast through their channels?

                        I dont agree this with this. the channels are given by the broadcaster. BBC is the broadcaster of Cbeebeies. It is in their hands as to what to show and what not to show. tatasky is a DTH company. It just shows these programs. They have no control over what to show and what not to show. For example, Tata Sky cannot has no control if channel stops a popular program or a saas bahu soap. Hope you understand the situation.

                        The channel "CeBeeBies" is provided by Tata Sky in the Super Value Kids Special Pack there are chances that the programs mentioned are dubbed and telecasted in India. Usually channel telecaster follow different pattern as the taste of different countries may be different thereby avoiding faux pas. In case of MTV international, Channel V international content is different as it broadcasts more of country specific content and entertainment which may be more viewed abroad but not in India. Also, local shows like V dare to date and MTV roadies are not internationally covered by many countries. However, roadies due to its international location coverage will be covered by few countries. So Tata Sky does not controll country specific content.
                        TATA SKY STOPPED AIRING CEBEEBIES CHANNEL WITHOUT GIVING ANY INFORMATION TO THE CONSUMER.IT IS A TYPE OF FRAUD !

                          I have never been a tata-sky customer. I have never subscribed to their services. Still i keep on receiving messages from the company (Ta-tatasky or tm-tatasky) about pending payment dues, recharging remenders, etc. On my personal mobile number. I hope this is total violation of one's privacy and results to mental harrassment.

                          Tata Sky — Delay in annual pack subsription

                          I am a TATA SKY subscriber and my id is [protected]

                          I had sent an SMS yesterday for subscribing to annual pack for Rs 2600. The TATA Sky dealer could not rechrg my a/c and told me TATA Gateway has prons and credited the money today morning, due to which I had to pay 2, 750 instead of 2, 600. Also your website was down till today 5 pm and could not be accessed for relevant changes. Due to probs at your end I am loosing Rs 150 without no fault of mine. This is a marketing gimick and wont last for long if you fool people like this. There are enough competitors now in the market and AFTER SALES SERVICE is all that matters for customers like us. Can you please look into this and help me out ? Quite a frustrating experience and would advise others not do the same. HELP !!

                          Your website is in a pretty bad shape and doesnt allow to put in more tha 60 chars in description whereas u have provided for 700 chars. !!!

                          This shows how much you care for customers. All your target is to achieve sales, I am sorry to say u people are zero on after sales.

                          Tata Sky — Full information not provided

                          Sir,
                          We bought the Tata Sky with big hopes but were throughly disappointed. The company has not provided any information about the length of the cable. Nowhere is it written that only 15 mtrs of cable will be provided by them. On ringing up your call centres they told us thst we have to pay for the extra cable. We had installed Tata Sky at my grandparent's house as well but never faced such a problem. Even though we had used some 30 odd mtrs of cable they never charged us I hope that appropriate action will be taken and that all information will be provided in the box.

                          Tata Sky — Chage of Location - service horrible

                          Hi,
                          The Customer Service and Engineering team are horrible in Tata Sky. I had given a request to change my residential address from CR park to GK2 using the WO : 1-[protected]. There was wrong information forwarded to start with. then after repeated chasing I was always told that it will be done in Next 24- 48 hrs . However when the engineer calls up he did not have the new address and also He bluntly says not my area. Being in a Service industry and with so many competitors . I think Tata will loose a customer me for any further purchase as it shows the companies attitude towards customer.

                          Absolutly right.. facing same issue.
                          I recently moved to salt lake city and called these Tata sky peoples. I was very worried if they will help me move house or not as my life really needs tv to watch. But thakfully tata sky people are very helpful and they helped move the connection in very less time. I so I think tata sky is really good. Maybe there is some misunderstanding or something.

                          While providing information I make sure there is nothing that I have left out from my end. I also crosscheck it with them to avoid confusion. My neighbours who have shifted informed Tata Sky about the relocation and the hardware was setup immediately. I too have Tata Sky and this product is really good the customercare is kind and helpful. Since it was an address issue hence the information was directed to the wrong engineer therefore you must have been facing such a problem. Give them the right address once again and your STB will be setup soon in your new location.

                          Nagpal Enterprises — Extra charges

                          I have baught a Samsong (Model No. 3500) mobile from Nagpal Enterprises and due to some problem i have to change it on very next day. i went to him to change the cell. firstly he refused to change the cell. when i requested him , he deducted 500 Rs from its Price.
                          and the other cell he gave me of Nokia 5130 Expressusic in 5400 Rs., but that time i didnt know actual price. but when i went home my cousin told me that this cell is of 5100.
                          she has also baught same one.
                          i asked the shop keeper but he denyed to give extra money back.
                          many people told me that he has done this thing to many.

                          Tata Sky — No response from the company after receiving payment.

                          My subscription id is [protected].I made payment on January 13 2010 for conversion from tata sky to tata sky+.They told that the installation will be done by January 15 2010 and gave me the following requisition no.
                          1-[protected].On being called today(January 16 2010) they made me wait for 15-20 minutes just to give me another requisition no. 1-[protected].On being asked about the date and time when the installation will be made, no proper response was given.They only apologize but do not solve the problem.They do not care for the customer once they receive the payment.The service is very slow.

                          The Boom of Tata Sky+ being sold at a fast pace with its ongoing offer upto its limited stock might have caused a slight delay. Since they reverted to you and provided the new requisition no. this indicates they are aware of your on hold order and show concern in getting you your conversion from tata sky to tata sky+ ASAP. As you have received your new requisition no it will not take long that you will receive the installation but to perform their best is what they look at however, this intimation resembles that they will act fast and get the order process completed.

                          HAVE USED 4100 TO THE FULLEST BUT ACCORDING TO TATA SKY SYSTEM IT SHOWS
                          MY USAGE HAS CROSSED RS 5000 WITH ONLY ONE SHOWCASE EVENT..

                          WHEN I CALL CUSTOMER HELPDESK THEY SAY MAAM YOU ARE CORRECT BUT ARE
                          SYSTEM DOESENT SHOW SO THEY DISCONNECT THE CALL EVERY TIME.. WHICH IS
                          INDEED VERY FRUSTATIN AFTER A LONG CONVERSATION OF AROUND 10 MIN....

                          I am one of your TATA SKY customer with Account no. [protected]. I like to draw your attention on behavior of your service engineers and technical support who visited at my place after registering my complaint. ( 1- [protected])

                          My digital box is not working even after I am still in warranty period. Two days has been gone and still there is NO ANY RESOLUTION PROVIDED TO ME YET.

                          Moreover your service engineer whose name is SITARAM [protected] and his senior Santosh/Siddhesh ( [protected], [protected] ) behaved very rudely and arrogantly with me like they don’t need any cust. even if they loses. Saying “JO KARNA HAI KAR LO”” is this a way to represent your service to your customer whose don’t have any fault??

                          I did a big mistake of beleiving on helpline sales boy(named Ankit, ref. call no-1-[protected]) and bought new HD set up box.He have given me wrong commitment and product info.He have just informed me about the HD cost but not informed me about the monthly charge to view the HD channels and also the hidden cost of installation cost for the cable as he said installation is free but hide the cost involved for the cable.Now I am asking either replace this HD box with the simple box or waive the monthly charge for HD channels.But they are not agree to both the condition.They are now saying that we cannot take back the HD box also and not waive the HD Gold Pack charge also. The helpline employee(named Varun, ref. call no-1-[protected]) are even very rude and arrogant as if now I have paid the money to buy the HD box so I dont have anyother option left behind and the ball is in their hand.
                          This is the trade practice they are using.I would not suggest any body to go for Tata sky and specially Tata HD setup box as there is nothing great about it and you have to pay more for this also without any reason and huge difference.All is same.

                          this TATASKY services are so poor then other operator and also charge for them and at end you get no result. There Customer care didn't know about anything and always give you wrong direction. ID[protected] I suggest you not to go for TATASKY.

                          Tata Sky — Company not giving me proper support

                          I am considering for a second digicomp and stood contacting Tata sky from 9th June 2011, Ever since I have been given complaint numbers one of the number is 1-[protected], however I am not getting any result and I am annoyed as a result, I know want to cancel the existing connection and want money back which was paid for the primary digicomp. Please tell me if that is possible?

                          tata sky DTH / HD — not provided 450 free viewing hours

                          I have purchased LG LCD TV in june2011,from The dealer JATINDERA ELECTRONICS SCO.2439,SEC.22 C CHANDIGARH.This dealer told me that ,tatasky HD is free this TV & you will also get 450 viewing hours free, so I have bought it along with TV. After installation of Tata sky HD,it worked for two,three days & stopped with message that recharge your account.at last I have to recharge it & till date no 450 viewing hours creditted into my account. They have given no responce till date.they have clearly cheated me.there is alot of diffrence between their policy & action.My tatasky ID is [protected]

                          We have been subscribing to TataSky + for well over two years and use both a primary and a secondary connection. We chose TataSky + as we wished to record some films to watch at a later date at our leisure.
                          On 22/5/11, we renewed our yearly subscription. However, since you had introduced a "choose your own package" option, we decided to do away with a number of channels which we NEVER watched or that we felt we didn't need. Being interested ONLY in news in English, English Movies and all Sports channels, we decided to go in for the South pack + English Movies pack + plus Sports Packs one, two and three available at the time.
                          Our first complaint is that no sooner did the Cricket season start, in the West Indies, that we found to our dismay that there were two new sports channels, not included in any of the three above-mentioned packs, without which we could not watch the West Indies series, and for which - of course - we would have had to pay extra.
                          Our second complaint is regarding the RECORDING FACILITY. We had recorded a few Classics such as "Guess who's coming for Dinner", Double Jeopardy (with Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones), etc. To our dismay, we found that these films still appeared on the PLAN list, they had in fact been wiped out from the digicomp's memory, with a message saying that "you have not subscribed to this channel". In effect, the channels in question were TCM and HBO, both of which we have indeed subscribed to since the beginning. On consulting your customer care executive, we were informed that "because you have changed your Primary pack to the Southern pack, anything taped earlier is deleted" and your executive claimed that we had been so informed at the time. Since we are an elderly couple, I cannot say for certain whether we were informed or not. It is not always easy to understand what the customer executive is saying. But in any case, we continued with the same CHANNEL and consequently should have been able to retain what we had taped. As for informing us, I recommend that such information can be conveyed by e-mail or SMS so as to garantee that the customer KNOWS. We are so upset about this that we are thinking of changing our DTH provider. Yours faithfullyt,

                          Tata Sky — complaint still not resolve -19 days....

                          I am Tata Sky Customer from long time having three set up Box at my place of all Tata Sky.

                          My tata Sky was stop working on 15 July .I have lodged the complaint regarding the same and they have told me that they will replace the same within 2-3 Days .on 26th July I have talk to them again and they have told me that they are out of stock and it will Take another two days.

                          What you Expect in todays time if some one is taking such a long time and giving a wrong Committment.I have never expected from the Brand like TATA this kind of service.

                          On 27th they have replace the BOX and when I check the Box in the Evening than I have found that the Box is Not working .

                          Today is 2nd September and No one is even bothered to Resolve the Same.I have got the call from the Customer care and they have told me that they are out of stock and will call me ASAP when they will get the Box.

                          Very pathetic Situation .Already been 19 Days my complaint has not been resolved and still waiting.......

                          Never Expected such things from the company like TATA.

                          We have been very old customer's of Tata Sky for more then 5 long years having a/c No. [protected]

                          I have below mentioned complains that i am facing and needs a immediate positive solution

                          1. I have called on Tata Sky today at 19.40 Hours & infomed Mr Manjunath in detail of my grievances While speaking telephone connection was disconected, Which made me again call back this time speaking to a new executive and providing all information again, Surprisingly line was transfered to a new executive the 3rd time making me repeat everything the 3rd time and was transfered to a senior official Ms Sharmila and again i was forced to repeat my query - In the first place the call says that the call is being recorded and can be clarified

                          2. I was not provided any solution which was very annoying and disturbing as i requested for a E-Mail ID's of senior's in Tata sky but was refused as Sharmila did not have the authority to provide the required information i needed as i understood that Sharmila was a ordinary executive

                          3. On the 28th August i recharged my account with Rs 1000.00 as i was told that either i can recharge for 6 Months or 1 Year only, Now on me calling Tata Sky to recharge for Rs 5000/- which would complete my annual mega package of Rs 6000.00 giving me 1 Month's free subscription and was very very upset with the revert i was provided to me saying that the Rs 1000.00 re-charged by is over in a Month's time which equals the Rs 1000.00 re-charged What Nonsence is this

                          4 Has Tata Sky lost all ethics and decided to blead thier customers like leaches ?

                          Well i have decided to stand my ground for good and incase i do not have a solution in the next 24 to 48 Hours would deactive and approach the consumer forum for harassment and cheating your customers

                          My Tata sky set-top box is not functioning properly anytime. I am fed up of the service received by Tata Sky. My set-top box has already been replaced 3 times and this is the 4th time. I have just given them the complaint. Every time they replace the Set-top box, and within a span of exact 15 days, again the set-top box stops working. Sometimes during watching TV, suddenly a software starts downloading and after that, the signal never comes back.

                          If you can replace my set-top box with a complete new set, I will be happy or else, you can take your set-top box at your home and enjoy viewing.

                          Please consider my problem on immediate priority and give me a reply soon.

                          Tatasky website http://www.tatasky.com/highdefinition talks of 1080i resolution, 16:9 aspect ration and 7.1 Surround Sound availability on their Tatasky HD.

                          For the information of potential Tatasky HD customers, Surround Sound is not available on the HDMI port of the Tatasky HD box. Not even 5.1 is available on the HDMI port.

                          It is unbelievable that a Tata company with Sky puts false claims and sells it's products to gullible customers.

                          If you wish to have 5.1 on an HDMI port, ask some other service provider in India.

                          Consumer court is being approached for taking this issue of selling with a false claim

                          Back ground: I have multi TV connection and subscriber no is: [protected]

                          June 2013 when I spoke to someone in call center to understand how much I need to pay to recharge my tatasky account for 6 months. I was told RS 4000 is the amount and with this I recharged my account with Rs 4000. Last week I upgraded my second TV’s normal box to HD box and then when I spoke to call center I discovered that I am being cheated. I am listing my issues as below:

                          1) I am told that Rs 4000 is required for 6 months recharge, however later I was told that 6 months recharge was for base TV and second TV is on monthly basis – this is not acceptable to me and I want 6 months package to be activated for both the TV
                          2) Even If I agree to call centers agents theory (which I am not agreeing) I am told that Rs 3300 is for base TV and Rs 180 for additional TV with normal box. My package was activated on 26th of June 2013…so till 2nd of Aug or so total charge come to around RS 250, which means my account balance should be around Rs 450 however my account balance was Rs 113 on 2nd August – where did my money go?
                          3) Your call center agent told me that some will call me with in 24 hrs – on 4th sone called me and I requested him to hear the call records as what is committed to me and then he said that he will get back till date NO ONE has reached back to me to provide the clarity and update
                          4) Yesterday again I spoke to two agent one after one and I requested both of them to help me talk to theit supervisors…first one transferred the call back to the board…second one said senior will call back in 2 hrs…again NO ONE called me till now…..first agent told me to recharge the account by 500 rs and then my HD box will run for 6 month….I recharged the account by 500 Rs and nothing changed..

                          Every time I speak to call center agents they tell me different-different stories not sure how to understand the true picture.

                          The first service call was a visit, I should say a courtesy visit from your service engineer. He visited my house, asked for the problem, checked the signal with one of the instrument, the signal strength in that was about 6-8. He again checked on TV, told that the TV is better now, I argued, I told nothing had changed. Wrote that on the signing sheet also, He told me that if I had to use the private services of the Tata sky personnel, i refused to that, believing that Tata name is there and there is no need to pay bribe to do things in private sector.
                          He went keeping the things as they are, which i wrote on the sheet too. But to my surprise i got a message that the complaint is closed. I checked with your online help, gave all the story to her, on which she took another complaint no.
                          I want to know how the second complaint was closed without visiting my house or finding the facts.

                          On saturday, 17th, the guy from tata sky called me, and promised the visit on evening. He didnt turn on at all. But to my surprise i got a call today from your 040 location based dept. The lady first told me that the services are not undertook as I refused to pay. I protested against this and told her what happened. She told me that she will call again. She called again and this time told me that my dish is faulty and I need to change the same. I am surprised to hear that. I asked if that is the case why she dint told me that in first time, she was fumbling to find an answer. But somehow told me that she will ask some guy to visit my place again to sort this out.

                          Then the service engineer called again, and asked me what was the problem, I suggested him to visit and find it out He told me that i need to change my dish there only without even visiting the premises.

                          I am surprised with the way the events are turned out to be.

                          I want to know
                          1. Does your people can ask money from a customer on the pretext of doing work externally as the first guy suggested, Should i say it is bribe in good old PSU days?
                          2. How come the first case was closed when I had clearly mentioned the status is same.
                          3. How come the second complaint was closed without even the guy visiting my house.


                          I clearly felt cheated and want to resolve this asap.

                          Hope you can resolve the same without taking a bribe.

                          My name is Sandeep V. I have been TATA SKY customer for over 4 yrs now.
                          I have one of the hopeless, 4th graded, cheap and sucking experience with TATA SKY.

                          There are not deserved for even one star rating.

                          1) I called TATA SKY on 6th Sep to recharge my grand sport and also to Change the set up box to HD.
                          2) TATA SKY people told me that there is an offer for HD box at 990 rupees.
                          3) I told TATA sky people to activate my grand sport and also deduct the money from my account for HD box for 990/-.
                          4) On Sat, 7th Sep, the installation people came and installed the normal box and not the HD box.
                          5) I called the same day to TATA SKY and told them the issue and the representative apologized for the mistake and told that TATA SKY forgot to place the order for HD.
                          6) I made the payment of 3000+3000+500 on the same day (on 6th Sep).. totally I paid 6500 over and above the balance that I had of 400+ rupees.
                          7) No one even activated my grand sport package until I called TATA SKY on Saturday
                          8) TATA SKY confirmed that Installation person will come on Sun to fix and no one came.
                          9) I called TATA SKY again on Sunday and shockingly they still did not place the order and no one came to fix it. I spoke to someone named pretty and she is saying nothing can be done. This sucks, coz this is not my mistake.
                          10) Then I was connected to escalation department, I spoke to someone called mujeeb or something…he also gave me wrong expectation and promised to fix the issue on Monday.
                          11) I got a call from Monday from TATA SKY and they are asking me about the issue. Why the hell I should keep repeating this again and again. Till Monday no one placed the order. Is it because they don’t want to give me an offer and take 1800/- from me? That is the intention of TATA SKY.
                          12) On Monday, again I called up and spoke to someone called Surya. He said he will get it fixed my Tuesday. But nothing happened. Today someone called and telling us that the cost is 1800/- and offered is over.
                          13) I again called up TATA SKY to check the sucking services. I spoke to someone called Naveed, he said, we will charge 1800/- and will adjust the money from billing department.
                          14) I don’t want this anymore. I want all my money to be refunded. I have one of the worst and sucking services. My Weekend and my Festival was screwed. Please go and check the logs from your system..how many times I called you.

                          I have subscribed (subscriber id [protected]) to Grand Sports plus TEN package, but i am not able to view TEN channels. The screen says "You have not subscribed to the channel".

                          I got a call 2 days back saying that you are merging the three TEN channels and offering a complete package at the same rate plus TEN HD which is to be recently launched. But since the time i have confirmed, it has deactivated the 3 channels.

                          Please look into it, as i am paying for them inspite of the fact that i am unable to view those channels. I am trying to call the customer care but i am sorry to say that their behaviour is very irritating. Half of them seem to be sleeping when they talk.

                          I need this problem resolved or else i will have to take steps to resolve my concern.

                          There hv been repeated complaints to Tata Sky for non functioning of the System since the date of Installation. The call's hv mostly been deferred for time as suited to the Technicians. Every time we call in we loose Rs 6.50 per call in the Call centre & unfortunately there is no one to take ownership of the issues. This is the state of affairs. My daily amount of the Pack is being debited regularly & that the System is Totally not functional.                           I realise, i have made a biggest mistake of my life taking up TATASKY. I took a multi tv connection on 10 September, 2013 after i was lured to a trap that i need to pay only Rs.1980 for an annual subscription and in addition i get a one month free subscription. Little did i realiase that I was never given any offer and my account was debited with charges @ Rs.5.92 on a daily basis. I Receive an status alert on TV followed by SMS that i need to recharge by 23/11/2013.

                          I spoke to the helpline. They said, they cant entertain any claim which is made by a reseller and I need to contact the reseller. I asked them how do they entertain a resellers authorization to deduct money from my account to deduct Rs.5.92 on a daily basis. Till date i dont have an answer.

                          I then asked them, will they give me an annual subscription for the multi tv for Rs.1980/-. They said, Not possible as there was price revision from their end. When asked about the revised norms, I was told to make a Payment of Rs.2200/- towards the annual subscription. I did a payment subsequently and asked for conversion of the same for annual pack.

                          I hear a reply, that they cant do a annual subscription, because i have a primary semi annual metro pack which is semi annual. I asked what was the solution, the gentleman said, he would do a semi annual multi tv for Rs.1133/- and refund the balance to my tatasky account.

                          The next day, 2 things happen.

                          1. My multi tv connection is cut
                          2. I cannot do a semi annual multi tv.

                          I made a request to cancel all my accounts and for the agony they caused me at 2 hrs a day for 4 days (telephone and chat, chat transcript screen shots are with me)

                          The next day, they deduct Rs.460 and odd from my account and say that it has been deducted for multi tv till 4th of February (the date until which i have a primary semi annual metro pack). I spoke to one Mr.Rahul at the helpdesk and asked him about the logic of charging me at over Rs.6 per day for a pack, while i am only deducted Rs.5.92 on a daily basis. The gentleman cuts the line. The next day I receive an SMS confirming that my request to deduct Rs.460 was successful.

                          For the past 3 days I made request for termination of TATASKY and each time i was given a request reference and promised that their team would get back within 24 hrs to resolve. This is my fourth 24 hr deadline.

                          The intentions of the helpdesk contradicts from the doctrines of any good practice, their intentions malicious, and their deeds against any basic human courtesy.

                          I would request readers to use my case as a caution and think twice before making any payment without a receipt from their side with all the fine prints. I have lost my health, peace and face mental agony.

                          And what makes me sick is the closing line from their helpline, "Apart from this, is there anything that we could assist you with"?

                          I am a customer of TATA SKY vide ID No [protected]. My set up box has been replaced by new MPEG-4 based on 28th Nov. 2013. Same day it was gone faulty at evening . Since then I am continuously lodging my complaints in tata sky toll free number but no body visit me at all. After Several persuasion, a technician visited me on 10 th Dec 2013 & declared that the set up box is faulty & need replacement.After half an hour later he replaced a set box & leaved my house telling that it take some time for loading the soft ware & it will run after 2 hours automatically. But till date no picture is coming to my television & after several calling, it is now replied by the technician that, there is no set up box is with us & your complaint cannot be rectified & you make a complaints to higher authority.
                          The SMS i received on 14/12/13 reads 'Your Tata Sky id [protected] will get deactive tonight'.I have sufficient balance to last till 7/9/14. If you can justify this SMS i will immediately dissociate myself from such filthy DTH service provider. Gautam Ghosh.

                          I have a connection of Tata Sky sience 03 years, My id No is [protected], But I am uable to view some channels due to upgradation of MPEG4 technology. I have called to customercare somany times(from 07.11.13) to change the set top box, but till date couldnot change of my set top box. When I contact to customercare, they are telling no stock of set top box in your area from first to now also but set top boxes available in this area, Shopkeepers are telling, if you'll give Rs200/- then we'll give a new set top box, so I have stopped recharge my set top box from last recharge, and also customer support telling, we'll refund from which date u are not able to view some channels. If Tata sky will not solve my problem in short period, I bound to buy an other connection.
                          I Mr.Sachikanta Routray had Joined through reference of Mr.Prakash Chandra Rout at TATASKY Branch office situated at 1st Floor, Archies Avenue, Infront of Girija Resturant, Kalimandir Road, Satya Nagar, BBSR on dt.09.10.13, I worked at office from 9.30am to 8.00 pm till 15.12.13. The company did not give any salary for my work.So I left the job.When Iasked for the salary to Mr.Prakash Chandra Rout, he told me give one weak the problem will shut out, when ever i called him or his boss they told me it will be shut out soon, but till now the problem didn't shut out, when i rigid for the salary an employee of TATASKY Mr.prakash Chandra Rout, Emp Id- scolded me in bad language and refused me not to give the salary, and told me what u will do u do.I will not give the salary.


                          I therefore request you to kindly shut out the problem as soon as possible.

On[protected] your Technical Executive Visited &amp; told us that wiring is faulty but I don't have wire there for I'm unable to replace it. He make Multiple joint in wiring. we are not satisfied with this kind of service from brand for TATA Sky. Kindly Look after on this matter. We want to replace defective wiring.

                          I made a mistake by opting for Tata Sky.

                          I believe that it's not a smart decision as the service of your call centre is absolutely terrible.

                          The test of a company's resolve for customer service stems from it's contact with customers. Often, customers get a taste of reality AFTER the sales is done. In your (TataSky) case, you fall short in a massive way.

                          My TataSky+ package is supposed to let me view and record programs. However, I am unable to do this sanely. This is because the picture is pixelatted, the sound is garbled at times and the picture goes off at times-leaving a blue screen. Since I travel extensively on work, I usually set my programmes for recording. It is extremely sad to notice that some programmes which are 1 hour long, have only 39, 31 or 43 minutes that have been recorded. When watching a programme, this is useless as one cannot understand the plot of the programme, not the dialogues or the story build-up, and it is FRUSTRATING.

                          Now this fluctuation has been happening for the last fortnight at least (depending on the programmes that I have recorded). I have not been getting my money's worth of service that is promised by TataSky. I have paid an annual fee for the streaming and recording (at my onset) of the programmes on the channels that are in the package. AND I AM NOT GETTING THAT. And this is not the worst part...

                          Just imagine that whoever calls your call centre, is in need of help. And when they speak with your officers, they really must need a lot of patience. I know that I have selected English as my language of choice, but whenever I call, I get the guys who talk in Hindi. And when they switch to English, its only the goodwill of the angels in heaven that can help me as the officers don't seem to understand what I am saying. They hear only few choice words and mash it into a sentence which they can identify and think that is what I am asking for.

                          Today I called up 3 times! About 15 minutes! Then about 11 minutes! And the third call lasted 58 minutes!!! These 3 calls are only for explaining my concern!!!

                          Your Helpline needs help! They don't seem to know the basics of customer service

                          Your officers provide wrong information. The first officer said that TataSky was providing upgrades and thats why I was facing issuesYour officers can't speak English for nuts. I had chosen the English line. But I never get on the English line. Why do you provide a language line option when you don't actually offer that service. Your staff need to understand that when a customer is ticked off and needs to speak witrh a senior, it is absolute STUPIDITY to let the officers hang on to the call with standard scripts like "I will help you first". Hello! When a customer needs escalation, it is because there is an issue and someone who can take a judgement call needs to be spoken with. Your escalation matrix sucks! I spoke with an officer, then a senior, then a Team Leader and finally a Manager. It not only cost me a lot in time and the phonecall charges, but it costs you far more in terms of customer's opinion of you, your brand name and the possibility of your service recovery when your customers pay for a service, you need to provide that service.Part of that is that I receive streamed channels in my package. It is unfair to talk about the customer paying for the technician to check what the problem is when YOU are doing an upgrade. Your competitors offer a better way of resolving this

                          Your officer (Raju) took 10 minutes to get a supervisor! Did he go for a walk in the park? After getting the supervisor, he said that he would transfer the call...something which took about 2.5 minutes!!! I though one can transfer calls in 5 seconds maximum. And Ravi in turn took over 15 minutes to get the Manager (Azam) promised that after little troubleshooting the channels would stream well. Well, it hasn't.I called for the fourth time and left a message for Azam to call back. Still waiting for the past 30 minutes.

                          The day is not far off. The signs are already there. Companies with poor customer service lose out. Brand names mean nothing. It's the service which is the game changer. For me, a much respected name like the Tata's is becoming low. Frankly, I don't care what the world thinks. My money will now talk. I will spend less...think more...whenever I see a Tata product. Its is sad. Sad for you.

                          some days ago tata sky has changed my setup box MPG2 to MPG4. Their telecalling representative said to me first I have to recharge my acc with 500Rs. And when I call them they will refund 500Rs. In My TATA SKY account after that I have call them many time but finally they have denied to return money in my accoun All conversation are available with them as recording.
                          Since 24th Dec'13, I am not able to view all the channels for which I am paying monthly charges. On receiving my complaint, you had send technician and deducted Rs.150/- from my account on 26th Dec'13. Inspite of your technician visit, when I could not see all the channels, he had told me that due to change of Tatasky software and set top box, I will be able to see all channels in due course. But I regret to inform you that till date, I could not able to view all channels. Moreover, you are regularly deducting monthly charges for the channels, which I could not view, since Dec'13.

                          If you could not permit me to view all the channels for which I have subscribed &amp; you are regularly deducting monthly charges, please deactivate it with immediate effect.

                          My Tata Sky ID is [protected]. I have got two connections i.e Primary and Secondary. I got recharged my connection on 28.03.2012 by paying online charges of Rs.6930/- for one year w.e.f 31.03.2014 to 30.03.2015 after speaking to one of the associate of Tata Sky. To my great surprise it is showing next due date for recharging is 11.03.2015, for which screen shot was taken on 29.03.2014.

                          In this regard I spoke to Tata Sky associate Sh. Virender and his Senior Sh Harshad on 29.03.2014 who informed me that the date will be corrected if I ring them after 2 days. And more over I was also informed that it is my duty to inform them for the correction of date and this is the Policy of the company. I want to ask a simple question from the MD of Tata Sky that even after making the full payment for one year is it the duty of the customer to remind them for the correction of date? What a ridiculous Policy of the company? Does a customer has that much time to remind them with no fault.

                          As such I request MD to refund my payment and no more I want to be with Tata Sky.

                          I would not recommend TataSky to any one. They are number one con artists and cheaters. They sign you up for higher costing packages without your permission and then have the audacity to tell you that as the customer had not called after the 30 day free trial period, to cancel the package, the customer is now stuck with paying the higher package price. This is very bad business practice. There is no written contract between the customer and Tata Sky. Their customer service is atrocious. You are given an option to select for assistance in a particular language. I selected "1" for English. All three times that I called I got a person that only spoke in Hindi. I am not sure why you even provide this option. Next try getting the manager!!!. It is impossible. He/she refuses to come the phone. You get passed from one "senior executive" to another. Mr. Nagpal as CEO of Tata/Sky you need to inform your employees that your company is a service company and as such your business really depends on you keeping your customers. Based on the messages that I have seen so far in the consumer complaints box, it does not appear that your company will have too many customers left. I for one will not be continuing with TataSky and I will make sure that my friends as well do not use your service.
                          sir, with regards I intend to fetch your kind attention towards Tata Sky, this company now-a-days is deceiving its customers. In fact company is activating ACTIVE SERVICE without customer's consent on a charges of Rs 1.50 per day with the locking period of 90 days.
                          In fact I am Tata-Sky user with Customer I.D. [protected] which is my bad luck, I recharged my account on 28/05/014 with Rs 351.On routine I checked my balance online, I noticed that it was not accurate and I found that two ACTIVE SERVICES ( ACTIVE ENGLISH and ACTIVE COOKING ) were activated on my connection for which I have neither made any call nor I have sent any SMS and also I din't receive any message for the same where as all activations and deactivations are communicated through SMS by company . I made a call to customer care I was very surprised that executive was unable to clarify the issue and my call was transferred to senior who disconnected the line deliberately.Again I made call and my call was again transferred to senior, she was also helpless, instead of telling me the cause of its activation she requested me like beggar "' Sir, 1 1/2 rupeey me aaj kaal kya atta hae, sir please aap band mat karvao aur aaj kal baher ka nahin khana chahiye aur english bacho ke liye bahut jaruri hae, agar aap tution rakhte ho toe kam se kam 500 Rs lagte hae.
                          I again again requested her to discontinue my Active Services with immediate effect.
                          Now, I request you to let me know that what right company has to activate services without the request of customer and why there is provision of Locking Period, normally customer can't monitor on company s such type of fraud activity, company should be penalised for such fraud activity.

                          This is very Sad to inform you that, I complaint on 1-JUN-2014 around 8:00 PM on Customer care for not receiving the signal's on my set box .

                          in response I was told that you have to pay RS. 125/- to get the signals and our technician will visit your place.

                          My question is when signal are not coming and my equipment's(box and dish) are perfectly working, why I need to pay visit charges?

                          Providing signals are provider responsibility or customer?

                          I have had extremely devastating experience with TATA sky.. The reason why I choose to subscribe is because of the credibility that TATA’s have. But to turn their business profitable they have lost their ethics. They promise for a great package offer but have given nothing but the basic. When enquired I was made to run from pole to pole.

                          The customer care is pathetic (I hope this is the only word I could get, some help me to put any worse word). Firstly they do not know to speak English or understand what we may need, just speak as they wish too.They do not treat customers as customer but dictate terms, also the CSR are unaware of the power of information, they say go to anywhere and blog anything, we are TATA NO ONE CAN TOUCH US

                          I placed request on 14th June at 4:30 PM for relocation and specifically mentioned that this relocation is to the immediate next house.
                          Today is 16th June, 6:15 PM. 48 hrs passed.
                          My initial request for relocation still has not been addressed, and all I get to hear after several calls to customer care is "Sorry for inconvenience sir, please wait 1 hour, you'll get a call back". I've spent the entire day at home taken unpaid off from my office just to get the set top box relocation done. But despite of several calls and assurances, I never got a call from TATA Sky, just false commitments. TATA Sky should straight forward commit that this can not be done till this day or this time. I'm going to consumer court now, to settle this, and placing a mental harassment case.
                          I purchased TATA SKY 4 months back now the set top box is dead and they want me to settle with an old used set top box which i don't know how old is and they say for the next time i will have to pay full amount.when i refused to accept it they started giving me a new excuse that there is a shortage of new boxes and i will have to wait for it it waited for 5 days still there is no box .if i will ask for an old one they will provide it .its hellish what cheat are they.

                          I am raise my complete with tatasky on 13Jun2014 Complaint id is DONMFXA and it's scheduled on 14Jun2014. Service engineer has called me and fixed to come 12.30 in afternoon. I took half day and come but he did not come even not informed when I called up in evening he said he will come around 8 pm else he will come tomorrow.I received massage in night call again scheduled for 15JUN I wait entire day when no body called and informed then i called again customer care for raising and asking why no body is attending call then he is saying this call is not correct you need to raise call again.
                          I raised call again he provide complete no DQUHSV1 and schedule on 17JAN but he has not come and he came on 18JAN i took again half day.He uninstalled disc from terrace without checking new location is have signal or not.He uninstalled dish and keep in my flat and want some where without discussing when we called up he has not pick the phone also.He also provided connection from my dish to flat no 501/C wing without my permission.This is biggest fraud when i am paying money for service and using some one else.
                          Today Tatasky cut 200 rs and close the complaint and issue still not solve.

                          I am a customer of tata sky and I am very disappointed by its services.It has worse services.I bought a hd connection of tata sky and used it for 2 years and now my setup box is not receiving signals.I made a complaint and the engineer said that setup box can't be repaired and I have to buy a new setup box.Now its been 4 days that no one is there to get me a new box, 2nd day they said that the setup box is not available they will send a new box when it will be available.everyday they just make a call that I will get my set up box today but it is not done.
                          When I needed a new connection they came the next day but now when I need my set up box to get repaired there is no one.
                          I just feel that I should throw their connection out of my window.
                          It was my mistake that I was convinced to buy tata sky.

                          2. I am in defence and posted in vizag (dolphin hills) rt now. I had installed the connection on 07 Oct 14 but due to the cyclone the dish got damaged and after that i have tried contacting the customer care and got the WO no.s FDVXBZW AND FFDTZD8..but no one turne up for rectification and gave a call to the helpdesk...i cm to know that the WOs have been cancelled without even the rectification and intimation..even you people are not bothered to inform the customer abt the cancellation of WO.

                          3.Moreover the person who is doing the installation service doesnt even know how to speak to the customers and is fully corrupt..he is doing the rectification of customers who are paying him extra cash and he is even installing new connection ...when i ask him abt the rectification...(without paying him extra)..he says come thru customer care ...which itself is an extremely inefficient organisation of tatasky.

I tried to use it after an hour but I got an error "The promotional code you entered has expired". So called up Amazon and they told me to call Tata sky so when I called up Tata sky they told me it will take 24 hours for voucher activation So I disconnected the call and waited for 24 hours more and tried using the voucher again same error "The promotional code you entered has expired" called back Tata sky they told me it will take 48 hours for the code activation talked to manager called Pallavi and she disconnected the call as I was asking for employee ID. I was astonished that why I was not told it initially that it would take 48 hours for activation. So tried using the code after 60 hours that is yesterday again got the same message when I tried to use it so called up twice and they disconnected twice while transferring it to senior agent now I talked to some one called Ranjith who told me I need to send email to this address "[protected]@tatasky.com". I was again astonished that why was I not told it initially itself and they made me call 6 times to Tata sky. Now I demand a refund of Rs.95 or recharge my Tata sky account as I called up 6 times and it was Tata sky’s mistake giving me wrong information to wait and they did not tell me initially itself to send the error message to [protected]@tatasky.com Now today again I get a call from someone called Swarna “Escalation agent” in day end asking me for snapshot which they could have told initially itself, so why are people wasting my time. For your kind information I am trying to purchase a lady's dress material which comes under apparel category so I am trying to use it correctly so don't give ma nayother reasons..

                          1. I am forced to approach inform you all due to continuous harassment by Tata Sky which is on increase since last 2-3 years.

                          2. Recent issue is of ID No [protected] which was recharged for one year for Supreme Sport Pack but since we were not able to see many channel, I requested to TataSky many time to change to South Special pack suitable to me but they have not and said it will be done after expiry of the present annual subscription which expired on 19 Feb 15.

                          3. When I had requested on 20 Feb 15 many time, than call centre told me to first recharge than it will be done. There new IVR system has become time waster of customers and it take 8-10 minutes to be able to speak to any executive of call centre, which can not be justified.

                          4. When I recharged with Rs 1991/- for annual subscription of South Special pack, my TV screen was blank and when I called up to call center, again they wasted my 20 minutes and said that request will be taken for technician to check the set top box. About changing of base pack, once again they had refused &amp; hang up the phone.

                          5. Such harassment of Tata Sky is on increase like for my another ID [protected], after confirming the call centre, I recharged for one year South Special Pack in Aug 2014, I was told that it is for less than six months.

                          6. Even whenever we forget the password to change the base pack on net, Tata Sky require about two hours to send new password. Which can not be justified in today's world of IT. This is another example of harassment beside wasting our money on unnecessary long calls.

                          7. May I request you all to approach Govt to take action against such unfair practice and necessary action will be taken to save millions of Indian from unfair Practices of Tatas (Although I used to praise Tata for their fair business practices but now it is in competition with Ambanies o[censored]nfair practices).
                          TataSky service is of average rating. TataSky should not increase channels prices on their own. TataSky is appx 7 minutes behind the actual broadcasting time. TataSky has a security number flashing on the screens always, which totally disables the remote control. The remote resumes its control only when that number has disappeared. I have spoken to TataSky customer care, but they are least bothered about it. TataSky should provide services according to the states of India. I am living in Maharashtra and 70% of my channels belong to different states, and languages, which is a total fraud and I am wasting unnecessary on those channel, which I do not use or see at all. If I ever get a chance to speak with the IBM, I will really scrutinize TataSky even if my voice stands one against thousands.

                          When i realised the increase of rs.183 in my bill, i called your call center to request them to discontinue... instead your sales person started insisting i continue it till some offer period till may. I kept telling him that i don't want it as do not have kids at home nor do i need it. He wasn't ready to understand my point and kept blabbering.

                          I have recorded the whole conversation with him (some Kuldeep from Pune). Kindly take action on the following:
                          1. Why the pack was added when i didn't consent to it. I can get my phone records to prove my point.
                          2. why do i get my call transferred no. of time and often dropped out of system when i call on your toll number. it is very harassing.

                          TataSky is good so long as there is no need for you to get their help in any way. If you have to call their help desk to get anything done, then you can start praying to God which I think gives you a higher probability of it getting done. Let me narrate one of the bad experience I had with tataSky. I shifted my house where I had a tatasky connection to a new house and since my in laws were staying in my old house, I took a new TataSky connection. After 2 months, I cancelled the old connection I had and put in a request to shift one of the set top box to the new connection. There started my problems. One technician came after some 5 calls and then said there is an issue with the receiver and then I never heard from him. I then got an SMS and the Work Order was closed. Over the next 5 days, everyday I tried contacting Tatasky and every time I spent an agonising 15 minutes at least explaining the situation to them. Every day, I will then get another call from the local tatasky folks asking if the issue is resolved - and I again have to spent another 15 minutes with them. Then nothing happens . This has continued for the last 5-6 days and I have given up and now want to cancel the third set top box. Unfortunately I paid for an year and so have to wait for that time. I have decide to switch over to Airtel as their service is far better is what I hear.

                          So long as you do not have to call them, everything is fine, else their help desk and support really is bad, so bad. And never ever attempt to shift a set top box from an earlier connection OR try and shift the connection to a new address - you will tear your hair in frustration.

                          Till today ( 07/04/02015 ) I haven't received you services for 7th day continuously . Last most it was two days and totally it was 9 days of service that I had lost which has to be compensated. Tata sky has become one of the filthy third rate company. I am not able to reach any of your call center or no one cares to give me a call back even after sending hundreds of mail for past 7 days . I am ashamed to claim that I have Tata sky as my DTH and will never buy any of Tata's products in future. You are totally irrelevant to customer service .

                          I'm getting irritated by your call centers response. They are treating like a fool. No of your service agent even called me in this 7 days. Even if you have a justification o[censored]p-gradation but how can you upgrade at my cost . Moreover you make the customers frustrated over this issue.                           On 6/3/2015 I called TATA SKY Customer care on [protected] and requested for a new connection. The very next morning someone came and installed it. It worked well for 24 days on the 24th day, that is 30/3/2015 The service got deactivated. I could no longer watch the channels. I tried calling the customer care on 30/3/2015, same number as above mentioned. One machine answered my call and said "This is not a valid number". I checked the Internet the number shown in the TATA SKY website was same as the one I dialed. I kept trying repeatedly one after the other 18 times, 18th time I got a pre-recorded message saying SMS NS to 56633 to rectify the complaint, I sent an SMS NS to 56633, did almost 20 times, in the 5 days. No response at all. I tried calling the customer care again, this time, the same as pre0recorded message says send NS 56633. I did many times, No use at all. On 5/4/2015 I got a message that the technician will soon call me to fix the problem. I have had no calls yet its been three days since the time I got a message. The damage I had was enormous. Being a strong Christian believer I was eagerly waiting since months to watch the documentary on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY "killing Jesus". I missed that being an auspicious Easter Day. I paid Rs.3000/- and got the new connection, not even a month's service. In simple terms I am thoroughly cheated, ZERO COMPLAINT REDRESSAL POLICY, ZERO AFTER SALE SERVICE. No numbers to call, no emails they respond. Its been seven days I am missing out on my Daily news, political debates and other documentaries. I am also raising a complaint to the TATA SKY CEOs Office, since I am cornered and have no other go. I have been Cheated by TATA SKY.

I tried nearly 100 times to their both Helpline numbers. There is no any other number to use instaed. In a nut shell Tata Sky service is "Just Pay and help Tata bygiving money." I am not even ready to give a single star to Tata Sky and I really repent with their worst service.

                          Tata Sky has turned into a bogus entity. Consumers are suffering like anything. No way to know what actually contributes to the problem, and how long it would take for resolution. Every option like customer care number, on-line chatting etc, have been turned into a frustrating and wastage of time activity only. In twenty first century when customer care and grievance redressal have been the buzz word for service sectors, this tata sky customer service is running in reverse direction. They don't even think of intimating customers about how long it would take. This is high time to switch into other service providers, despite of a monetary loss. Thank's to TATA PHILOSOPHY of customer grievance redressal... The CEO is to be honoured this time for GREAT ORGANISATION for highest customer satisfaction.

But till date installation was not done I had call customer-care several time (Daily) they told there was problem of local cable operator hence your account cancelled . I told them there is no problem for installation as in our building already two tata-sky connection. But my problem still remain so on dated 9/04/2015 I request customer-care if you think there is problem pls refund the amount.

                          Sir, You may please go through the detailed mail I had sent to your Nodal Officer which has not yet been responded. Further to it I had 2 online chat session today as mentioned below :
                          1) with Jayanth Nagaram Chat Ref ID 2263531 who informed that he had checked with the concern desk and they would call shortly. 2) lastly with RMohan Singh Chat Ref ID 2266386 who hearing my concern that why my account still not DEACTIVATED and a daily subscription still being deducted .He came with BEST reply being in service sector " THERE IS NO USE OF RAISING THE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME ISSUE".

                          You being the CEO of a service sector just explain how TATA SKY can accuse its customer (of last 8 years) for even raising complaints ?? As a customer until the issue resolved of course I would complain. RMohan Singh even DENIED to register any further complaint, hOW IS THIS ??? If the Chat had gone on record you can observe that he was not bothered at all with customer's concern and just giving patented answer "it will be resolved shortly" and on my query suggested to write to [protected]@tatasky.com.

                          In my mail to your Nodal Officer I have details of all my online requests started from 12/4/14 regarding de-installation, re-installation and lastly de-activation and the various chats I had with chat ref. ID and the name of person.From the last chat its clear all the chats/complaints gone ON RECORD but for some unknown reason you have decided to IGNORE all these. I DO NOT SEE ANY REDRESSAL/RESOLUTION coming from TATA SKY but you are very prompt in deducting the daily subscription when its on record that TATA SKY never responded to my re-installation request so I have decided to DEACTIVATE that is to close my account and was assured by Alok Kumar, Chat Ref Id 2248485 dated 30/4/15 that " I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOUR ACCOUNT IS TO BE CANCELLED BEFORE 1/5/15" . Looks like until the balance amount exhaust there is no other way to cancel my subscription.

                          YOU MAY MAKE A NOTE THAT I AM STILL PAYING DAILY SUBSCRIPTION TO TATA SKY FOR NON SERVICE AND ONCE MY ACCOUNT BALANCE COMES TO ZERO HOPEFULLY MY SUBSCRIPTION STANDS CANCELS . I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING TO TATA SKY AFTER MY BALANCE AMOUNT EXPIRES.

                          Dear Sir, I would like to bring to your notice the pathetic services from TATA SKY as per details given below:

                          1) Through SR[protected] on 12/4/2015 requested for de-installation since we were relocating on 15/4/2015 from Navi Mumbai to Hyderabad. Instead of requesting your customer cares it was not taken place and we had to do it personally. YOUR TECHNICIAN AND CUSTOMER CARE STARTED CALLING AFTER WE REACHED AND SETTLED HYDERABAD.
                          2) We had requested for 15 days Subscription holidays w.e.f 14/4/2015. Also had online chat with VasudevaReddy Reddy with Chat ref Id. 2192341 for cancelling your service thats closure of account and given request ref no.1-[protected] and till date do not know what happened to that.
                          3) On 29/4/2015 through SR[protected] we have requested for re-installation SO FAR NO RESPONSE FROM TATA SKY
                          4) Since we already had doubt about your re-installation service we also put a request for DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT through SR[protected] SO FAR NO RESPONSE.

                          Other than that I had online chat with Shilpa Kulkarni on 29/4/2015 with Chat Ref. ID 2243341 who had taken my request for Deactivation of account with immediate effect and given request ref no. 1- [protected]. When as per her assurance no one contacted by 30/4/2015 and rather found you deducting daily subscription from the account, again had online chat with Alok Kumar on 30/4/15 with Chat Ref Id 2248485 and he had taken complaint no.1-[protected] and mentioned " I would like to inform your account is to be cancelled before 1/5/2015"

                          But as on date still there is no response from Tata Sky and my account still ACTIVE and you ARE STILL DEDUCTING DAILY SUBSCRIPTION SHAMELESLLY WHEN ITS ON RECORD THAT SINCE YOU DID NOT RE-INSTALL WE ARE NOT AVAILING ANY SERVICE OF TATA SKY and as per Alok Kumar the account has to be closed before 1/5/2015. As per record I had requested THRICE to deactivate my account. First on 14/4/2015 during online chat with vasudevareddy reddy, Sceond on 29/4/2015 through online chat with shilpa Kulkarni and Thirdly on 30/4/2015 through online chat with Alok Kumar. But still so far no action from Tata Sky. So you may explain for what you are charging and when you are supposed to get back to your customer with confirmation of the deactivation and refunding the balance amount in account.

                            My account # is [protected]. I had asked Tatasky to shift the connection within house. During shifting the engineer is supposed to change the cable, which he didn't on top I was charged 100 Rs extra for additional cable required.
                            Second incidence, after shifting I was not able to view TV properly, the signal strenght & quality was poor. After registering complaint, Engineer was sent & the fault was in Dish. According to the Engineer I was not supposed to be charged. Still I was charged Rs 350.
                            I think those who are not checking there statements regularly, Tatasky must be charging left right and center.

                            This is a unfair trade practice.

                            Hi Mr.Rahul A. Deshpande,
                            Internal shifting can be done by oneself provided you know the dish alignment. In case if you are in warranty hardware will not be charged however, technician visit is charged. Additional cables are not provided free of cost. If the engineer said you should not be charged that means he does not want his pay as I have mentioned technician visit is charged. There could have been a problem in the dish but was it only after shifting because you did not purchase a new dish so it is the engineers job to get the matter fixed. Unlikely, the charges were not irrelevant as you have been appropriately charged for technician visit and additional cables. Tata Sky has good customer relation and would like providing better service.

                              Hi Mr.SACHIN ARORA,
                              On engineer visit it is very important to take down their name and no. for future reference. This will help you to give a reminder in case they have forgotten or even hold the technician responsible for unresolved cases. Technical problems do arise due to digicard getting corrupt. Hardware shortage is a rare phenomenon. The second connection needs to be checked in the first place by having a technician visit in case the STB has become obselete only than will you require to opt for a new STB. Your problem will be solved, as Tata Sky does adhere to after-sale service.

                                i am a tata sky subscriber for since the launch. my subscriber id is [protected]. recently we booked two additional tata sky + through their customer care by paying 4999 and 5999 via online transaction in their pre diwali scheme of 2009. one box is yet to be delivered after one month of paying up. one box that they have delivered is faulty/defective as per their installation engineer. we bought new connections by paying full amounts but they have listed connection in their computer as replacement for old and disconnected our old set top box. repeated request to their senior supervisor Mr. Avtar in north region customer center has not yielded any result even after one week. we also requested for refund of our money as they are neither providing the box and also the box that has been provided is not being installed. they have clearly refused to refund money saying there is no policy for refund.

                                request all those who are buying tata sky to be more careful as you might end up losing money with tata.

                                Hi Mr.Mukesh Aggarwal,
                                Good move by booking a Tata Sky+ connection during the pre- diwali offer period. The one that you have not received will not be charged for as your account will not be activated. There has been a massive sale of Tata Sky+ STB during the offer period therefore resulting in slight delays. There must have been some misunderstanding as the engineer appointed may have committed a mistake as they often carry refurbished STB's and set it up for you. You can call the customer care and address your issue as you are rightfully entitled to the connection. The refurbished STB can be given back for your new connection. My personal experience with Tata Sky customer care has been good your pending case can be solved by providing case no.s and they can pull the history of the issue rather than going through the entire step once again. The new STB will be provided as I have found the CC very co-operative and they listen to your issues.

                                  THE ABOVE PROBLEMS ARE SINCE BEGINING AND TODAY I TALKED TO ITS CUSTOMER
                                  CARE FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS BY PAYING MORE THAN RS.400/= AS STD CHARGES TO
                                  THE FOLLOWING EXECUTIVES :-

                                  SHERRY, PROMOD KUMAR ANAY MONIKA one by one on transfer of
                                  calls by them to their seniors. As no further senior was available and the problem could not be
                                  resolved but they offered me a special movie as a special case.

                                  I did not want any special stature for me and requested them to treat me as a ordinary consumer
                                  but give me my rights and not any donations. All executives simply expressed sorry but no resolutions to my long pending 03 years old problem.

                                  I need justice and this may be problems with many more consumers. As there is no local office or
                                  service centre consumers have to call on STD and call transfer system consume lot of man hours and money but no solution to the problems. As these executives have no power to sort out the problem but to direct their unskilled technicians (they call it engineers) and debit consumers Rs.350/= for no fault of the consumer.

                                  Needs an early solution.

                                  Tata Sky charges as per its packages. It is advisable to go through the channel packgaes offered. The channels are clearly listed which include latest channels added.all the channels mentioned DD 1, STAR 1, STAR PLUS, STAR UTSAV, SONY, SAB, ZEE TV, SAHARA ONE, are present in the base pack so there is no chance of charging for channels that is not telecasted. There seems to be a problem with cartoon channels but you could get a technician visit as this problem has to be looked into by a engineer so that he can find the cause affecting its video telecast.Tata Sky covers India its contact details are as follows:From MTNL/BSNL lines: [protected]

                                    i m a customer of tatasky and also deler of tatasky.my complain for tatasky is its recharge start form minimum 200 rs.this is a very high rate for customer.

                                      This is to bring to notice of that I feel cheated by the way tatasky people operate. I bought one connection for tatasky for my inlaws on 14th Ocotber 2009 as a diwali gift. I was told wihtin 48 hours it will be and running. The equipment came on 22nd after lot of follow ups. Finally it got installed on 31st Ocotber 2009. 3rd November no channles and My account went into -500 balance. I bought this package with one month subscription and free installation. Within three days services were withdrawn and was told by customer care to recharge with 500 rupess. I felt cheated and the way tatasky provides services. My inlaws already got the cable connection disconnected. Now at the age of 70+ how do they follow up with these smart people.

                                      I have made payment through credit card and would like to have entire money refunded.

                                      Will never advise any body tatasky.

                                      i agree with ur view its just unjust for tata sky to do like this. just suggest how to make a move against them.

                                      Tata Sky — Felt Cheated

                                      When I got TATA sky installed at that time there were no packages announced as such and on enquring withTATA sky executives it was communicated to me that whenever the packagesare made we will be placed in the best package. So will get all channels

                                      But now its the GOLD package which receives the all the channels and we are placed in someother package. Now we are told to pay extra monthly toview all channels.

                                      My issue is that, why we are not placed in the GOLD package as aggreed during theinstallation. If they are changing the polices then why should we suffer.

                                      I feel same must have been happening with others also.
                                      I feel I am cheated too. Exactly same thing happened with me.

                                      I think consumer forum should take strict legal step to stop this kind of offence.

                                      Earlier I too tata sky on seeing the list of channels they were providing. That time there was no clause in their advertisement or anywhere that they will add packages and can add or alter any package.

                                      Now in their website they are making new rules - to cut their customer's pockets. The complain section of their website also provides complains only in 60 words - huh.

                                      Whoever thinks that they are doing "good-intelligent" job sitting at tata-sky office - please not that this is not a intelligent work at all - rather a dumb idea to sabortage your own company !!

                                      I have a tata sky max connection for the last one and a half years where I am paying Rs 450/mth. every time they come up with new packages and charge more for each channel .This is ridiculous I think we need to go to consumer forum since Tata Sky is cheating us.The customer service is very poor with the customer service agents not solving the customers problem but showing attitude.Something has to be done about this .
