[Resolved] Times Of India — Irregular and Late delivery of Newspaper | |
Hi, This is Lakshminarayanan from chennai, residing in Chromepet. I am a retired Headmaster and a lover of times of india. I had subscribed for the annual concessions scheme and had paid the entire amount for a year. Unfortunately, i get the newspaper delivered at my house either late(Never before 9am) or never. My repeated enquiries with the local distributor has resulted in vain. He even asked me to complain to his higher-ups. That is how the circulation of times of india is being managed. It is my fault to have subscribed for the whole year after stopping the popular and prompt newspaper "The Hindu". I feel this is daylight robbery by the newspaper concerned. I somehow got the mobile number of the circulation manager of my region Mr. Krupa. Invariably, the phone is either switched off or always engaged. I have decided not to buy times of india henceforth and have started telling my friends about my woes, which may also affect the people concerned. I hope the management of times of india will take appropriate steps to redress the grievences of customers like me. Otherwise, it would lose its charm in chennai. Was this information helpful? | |

I am a resident of Flat 101, Saiya Co-op. Hsg. Soc. Ltd., Plot E/1, Sector 12, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. I am a regular reader of Times of India. In Kharghar there is a vendor problem. Each one of them Monopolises
Building on mutual understanding with the result other vendor cannot put paper in that building. This also results in readers finding it difficult to change a vendor on irregularities commited by him as other vendors are not ready to supply paper. With the result I am finding it difficult to get a good vendor fot me to get Times of India paper at my doorstep.
You are requested to inervene in this matter and solve it as ur circulation is affected by the above monopoly of the vendors.Thanking u in anticipation,

The TImes of India — Late & Irregular supply of news paper
I have subscribed Times of india newpaper vide consent no. 2288289 on 09/09/2008. Accordingly, I have paid Rs. 199/- vide cheque and same was debited from account. I have told that the paper will be delivered from 18/09/2008. But I am not getting the same.I have started getting the newspaper from 01112008. I doubt it is my vendors fault also along with you people.So I would like to change my vandor. Pls let me know what is the procedure asap I have tried several time to their helpline no.[protected]/22137085/86, but no body even think of picking the phone.
