[Resolved]  Times Of India — DELIVERY ISSUE / VENDOR MISCHIEF

I had subscribed one year and my order number is NAB-049243. Complaint no-177653 on 22.04.09 & 175232 on 17.04.09 Always thay are saying our people will call still i have not recieved paper from last 25 days. No one is bothered to call whether i am getting papers or not. Last year same thing happen 30 days i didnt recieved paper. How many times people should complain such a useless company they are running without any co-ordination company running.

I have purchased a portable hard disc from Anupam stationary on 17 of may 09, The shop keeper has swapped 10400 Rs for a mobile phone from my card which was not purchased by me.

Although he has given me a void sale receipt but i will get my money back after a long time of 35 days.

As this is a mistake made by shop keeper i wish to sue him for the misuse of my ATM card.

Kindly give your suggestions

I had subscribed to GOOD Homes for One Year where they were offering Magpie Bar Set and Times Watch. I had paid Rs. 1, 200 for full one year subscription. I paid on 31st December 2008 through my Master credit card. They commenced my subscription on February 2009 and told me that subscription gift would reach after 4 weeks of commencement of subscription. But till date I have not received the of said above mentioned gifts. I have been following up with them for quite long time but no response.

I am stying in dahisar [e] mumbai and one mr. shushanat jadhav is my paper vendor, at the time of booking subscription for six monnths for 475.00 Rs. He promised t give times + either of mah.times.mum mirror or E.t. now he plays mischief saying that, the scheme is for only toi for either of the cpaper i have to pay extra. it this is so .. how i am benefited? is this not a breach of trust. of ignorance on the part of vendor ? pls clarify

I was a regular reader of Times of India in 2007 I subscribed yearly subscription- renewed subscription on August. Cleared by Chq no-171299 dt[protected] drawn on Bank of India Rs-199/-. Till date I have not received Coupon. I have complained several times from Nov-2008. I have not find your subcription. Please inform me about your newspaper subscription. Also I went to your office but no response.

Dear Team,

We are not receiving the times of india paper from 14th June 09, my order number is NAB 015282.

This subsription was form was taken from a person named LOGESH, i don't understand why this paper was stopped all of a sudden from 14 JUNE 09.

I contacted Logesh, and i was given the contact # of Satish Kumar, who promised that it will be delivered with in a weeks time, then again he comitted it will be delivered from 1st of Aug 09.

In between i called up Subscriber's helpline #[protected], and spoke to John, then again on 1st Aug i spoke to Reena, but everything resulted in vain.Till date i have not recd the paper from Jun14th.



Rs:300/- is not a big amount, but i never expected this from "Times Of India" as i am your customer from last year.

We live in Silver Oaks society in Gurgaon and I was subscribed to TOI since last 3 years. My vendor never gave us combo offer with ET saying it was not avilable in Gurgaon. In past few months he started bringing old bills saying we'd not paid them. On arguing, h e said produce proof of paymnt which we never took. He started behaving badly and has now stopped delivering us newspaper at all.

Our full year Mail Today coupon are also with him. In our society they have made a monopoly and are not allowing other to deliver too.

Can something be done to rectify such business practices?

I paid 1 year subscription amount to Times of India full news paper to marketing executive Sai Kiran Mob num:[protected]. Since 1 week I am not getting the paper. I called lot number of times to Sai Kiran he is not lifting his phone. I called lot number of times to customer care Ph.Num: 23254223 & asked them to connect me to senior officials then they told me that officials will come to office only after 2.30 PM. They have given me complaint numer 208907. They have given me to talk with RRE Samson (Mob Num: [protected]) who is responsible for this area. I atlked to Samson he promised me he will solve the issue then after i received the paper only for 2 days.I tried to reach them but they are not lifting the phones.
Again I called to customer care then they have given me Guptas number who is an senior executive .I ried to call him but his number is always switched off.
I request the senior managemnet to refund my money & I dont want to continue with this offer. This is happening for our whole apartment.

I stay in a building whose construction was completed in 1998 but till date did not receive Occupancy certificate. Whenever I approach the builder, he give one or the other reason and slips out. Please suggest whom to approach.

Times Of India — No newspaper for the given money

We have isssued a cheque of Rs 390/- to Bennet coleman & Co. on 4/9/09 for there "so called" offer for subscription of 12 months newspaper. But it has been almost 3 months now, and we are yet to receive this. They actually called us and provided this "so called" offer. But after getting the cheque from us, they have never responded to us. We tried calling to their office on the given numbers. No body ever received the call. They are such big cheaters !!!

If newspaper aegencies will start cheating in this this way, then who knows the news they publish is how much authentic!! they must be taking bribes from others, even they have noe let us( ordinary public).

I am not receiving my times of india paper regularly and and every day delayed deliver around 8.30am to 9.30am. i am seriously complaining to the vendor and Times of india representative but no major action is taken. when ever he dont supply paper (may be due to shortage) he keeps telling me that your paper might have been stole by other in the appartment.

I have subscribed for the The Times of India, Chennai Edition, in NOV 2009. I am yet to receive my first copy as on 06/02/2010. My order no is NAC062557.
I have lodged complaint & reported the issue to customer care (Comp. No. 266990), also send an email to crm.[protected]@timesgroup.com. After several followup calls, I was told to contact Area Exceutive Mr. Muthu, he also gave me false commitment & never turned up.
I am spending more than cost of news papaer every day by calling these dumb & careeless people. They dont even have or not willing to give the escallation metrics.
