Times Of India — Improper charges from customers

Times of India has been notorious about charging Customers for no reason:
1. In September, they printed an Edition and said it is FREE. Paper Boy said that they are not told about it so we had to pay for this FREE Edition.
2. In the past, TOI sent DIVA magazine with TOI and charged for it, even though Customers did not want it.
3. In the past, TOI sent SPEAKING TREE with TOI and charged customers even though customers did not want it.

Is Times of India a Govt organization that can charge for Free Publicity?
Strict Action should be taken against Times of India about this fraudulent practice on an ongoing basis.

I am residing in the address 5, 7th main road thirruvalluvar nagar chennai -118 in the area of sharma nagar at last more then a week iam not receiving the news paper. I approached the area news paper agent. he told the news paper times of india dealer canceled for the whole area. I already paid the payment till august 2012.

can you take a action on this issue so that i will receive the news paper in regular. So that i will not go for an legal action.

TOI — Delivery issue

I paid an amount of Rs.299/= by cheque (SBI) on 21st August 2011, to your vendor whose name is Raja of Vadapalani ( his mobile number is [protected] ) under RRE code C R 3990. For reasons unknown to me he is not regular in despatching the news paper to my address. Inspite of me repeatedly calling, there is no response from him, hence the present complaint to your good selves.

I am residing at sector -23, Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad. I used to purchase of Times of India 2- 3 days in a weeks. I have observed that many of vendors not selling complete paper/total pages of paper. Even hockers are also not dropping complete paper . When i ask them, they told that it is not given by the back end. We deals in Real Estate as channel partner and our builders are giving advertisement for their projects and they are not reaching to public after paying huge amount. Please cross check at the sellers of sector -23 and Rajnagar and arrange to resolve the same.

I have enrolled myself for the HT newspaper and told my vendor to stop Times Of Ondia. My no is HT 0938271. But my vendor has not supplied the news paper for long time.after so many pursuation he started delivering but not stopping the delivery of Times of India. But I purchased the coupon on condition that i ll discontinue the Times of India as i dont requied two newspaper at a time. But the vendor is not at all listening and he is going on continuing the news paper. The voice of the vendor is very harsh and it is impossible for a qualified lady to talk with them . My husband is now these days out of station. My son is vewry small. Where did i go?

The point of mentioning here above matter feels because unless some body will not take such type of checks & action on the govt. servants, people will not be justified & corruption will not be controlled. In olden days King Akbar were used to take a round every night to his capital to check the people, their lifestyle, their views regarding their king and Sardars. During the visit if he find illegal matters, he used to take an action next day in his darbar with his chief adviser Birbal. In those days there was no mobile, CCTV, fast moving cars or planes, computers to control all such matters but still kings were managing to control their kingdom.

Today leaders act like a king once they elected by the people and then they considered the people are like their slaves. Many MLA’s, Corporators become billionaires within a short time in India. There is no proper tool which can control them in Indian constituency. The culprit people are caught sometime after they make the huge scam. No body knows where and how they manage to hide the property & black money. In such cases even if they get caught they insured that they & their family can survive the remaining life with black money without changing their lifestyle.

I am senior citizen retired from one of the private company in July.2008. The employer was very particular regarding any payment to be paid towards, Provident Fund or any sort of Govt.dues. Therefore I will not blame the employer.
However, since 2008 I have not been paid by the Provident office VASHI (NAVI MUMBAI) in spite of giving number of reminders on phone or sending the consultant appointed by my company. I have a mailed copy sent by P.F. office where they have mentioned that they will send the fund to my account by end of March, 2012 but in vain. My retired life is ruined as I have no any other source to maintain my family. The concern person of P.F. office who look after my account is always remain absent in the office due to sickness or some other reason as he informed me on phone. There is no any other person to take his charge if he remain absence as he told me & now he is not sure when my money be paid.

I have checked the various site, & found that there are many people like me who have not received the P.F.money since many years.
Can any body will help me to guide how to take an action on the P.F.office and their staff for their such a irresponsible behavior. It will be great help to all people.

Times Of India — Not receiving papers for the past 2 months

I have taken Times of India News paper Subscription for One year, but I am not

getting paper for the last two months. I have called the customer care

many times and I didn't find the correct reason why they have stopped the paper.Could any body help regarding this issue to

Times Of India — Non delivery of service in spite of full payment

We subscribed for TBO scheme in the name of pooja singh (my wife). Newspaper delivery was supposed to start from 16th september, but we have yet not received newspaper delivery. We gave cheque to M.Rajendher (mobile [protected], rre code: 02201) and now he is also not picking our call.

This is cheating and not at all expected from a brand name like timesgroup. I want my money back and not getting any channel how to take this forward. I had been a regular toi reader, but this incidence has made me lost my faith. Worst print media ever seen.

Overcharging

I am situated in Vapi, Gujarat. I subscribe to THE TIMES OF INDIA. The proce mentioned on the paper is "PRICE Rs 5.00 ALONG WITH MUMBAI MIRROR OR THE ECONOMIC TIMES OR MAHARASHTRA TIMES. My vendor charges me Rs 8.50 for THE TIMES OF INDIA + THE ECONOMIC TIMES. On asking him he says this is how BENNETT, COLEMAN & Co. LTD wants it to be charged and all in Vapi are being charged this amount. I would like to know from you

1.is what my vendor saying correct?
2. If yes why you are overcharging customers in Vapi?

There is a newspaper vendor in South City 1, Gurgaon with the name of Pratap Newspaper and Magazine Agency..He makes a lot of discrepancies in the newspaper bill and charged individually for TOI and ET even when we had ordered those newspapers in combination.

I had courier one parcel on 28.Nov.2012 from Mumbai to Vadodara Hooghly DTDC franchise at Parla (west), Mumbai. Miss Dakshata of DTDC had advices for express delivery(next day delivery) charges were Rs 315 and for ordinary delivery it was Rs175( three days). I chose for express delivery and paid so.
The courier did not reach for 2 days and franchise was contacted on phone and in turn they informed us for delivery of the parcel on 30.Nov.2012. I took the snap of online status mentioning the same.
This created panic and my son approached DTDC OFFICE in Vadodara on 1.12.2012 and found parcel lying in the office and was taken by himself.
I requested to refund the amount (Rs 315-175=145) and logistic charges of my son travel to Mr.Sunil Dhore of DTDC franchise from where it was parcelled.He refused to pay obliquely mentioning that he is waiting for his boss to return from leave and at least 15 days you would wait.
The FAKE DELIVERY details from Internet are reproduced in snapshot attached.
please advice for further action.

I hereby complaining to u on the topic donation. we stay in Kurla (e) and have 1 daughter of 3yrs, we have to put her in good school, so i heard the name of gregorious school which is situated in chembur that it is a reputed school. we fill the form and drop the form in the school letter drop and we were call on 19th december for interview and in the interview they mention that they will call till 30th jan. i waited till 30th jan 2013, then i call on 31st of jan they told me wait till 5th feb i again wait and call on 5th feb, they told on 5th feb wait till 15th feb if call comes then ur child has been selected and if doent come then ur child has been rejected. then i personally visited the school on 11th and asked they told call has got ended. then from somehow we got to know contact mr. tambhi the trustee of school he can help u. again we were haveing little hope. then when i visited to his home he was not there and the poen of his told me (there is no use of putting the forms in the drop box of the school you should have bring the form over her sir may have help ur child to get in the school. next day i again visited the same thing sir was not der. again on 3rd day i visited at that time sir was there i requested sir he asked me and my husband for donation of 5 lakhs. in short those who ever got the call they have given him donation of some amount to get in the school.
i jst wanted to know that is this a correct way to select the child on basis of donation.
And pls i request u that tell the school that if they r selecting some cheats of the name of child then pls open in front of parents and not personally. and i[censored] also wanted to hear abt mr. tambi's word then u can also visit to his house as a parent. i dont know how a school trustee can own a huge property this is all about donation.
so i request u to pls take action on Gregorious school chembur... and let my child get admission without donation..
