[Resolved]  Times Of India — DELIVERY ISSUE / VENDOR MISCHIEF

Hi,

This is Sathish. I took 1 Year subscription from TOI. But i got cheated by YOU. I am Not receiving paper from TOI for the past 3 weeks. I contacted the customer care but they were not responsive and answering my questions. Instead they were telling like "They will call me later?". Is it a way to treat your customers. I really got pissed off. I contacted my are paper dealer and they were telling like "They didn't get the paper".

It is not a correct way to get profit for TOI. Don't know if you are doing the same way for all your customers. My GOD...

I paid my money in advance by thinking that you will give the paper without any cheat. But you are not deserving.

I know you cant arrange for paper anymore. Instead of paying money to call you daily for paper i will get paper in a nearby shop. It will be more profit to me. So, could you please tell me how to cancel your useless subscription and get my money back. Please do this at-least.

My sincere request please don't cheat anyone anymore. Because we are not printing the money we are working hard to earn the money. Hope you know the value of money.

the problem is that when ever any sample is given inthe new paper either the sample is removed or the whole sheet is missing from the news paper and that happens with all the houses of our lane.

please take some quick action.

Times Of India — NON RECEIPT OF MT ALONG WITH TOI

THE VENDOR HAS STOPPED GIVING MT WITH TOI ALTHOUGH I HAVE PAID 6 MONTHS SUBSCRIPTION FOR MT & TOI VENDOR SAYS TOI DOES NOT GIVE FREE COPY TO HIM . WHEN CONTACTED TOI SALES GUYS THEY SAY THE VENDOR GIVES THE FREE COPY TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER . TOI SALES SHOULD ENSURE HE GIVES THE FREE COPY TO THE PERSON WHO HAS PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION .
CAN ANYBODY HELP IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE .

Dear sir,
i'm S.Meenatchi sundaram, staying at R.no 120, sindhu hostel,IIT madras, Chennai-36.I paid money for one year subscription (on December) for TIMES OF INDIA newspaper to M&M News MART,(No.54 Bajanai koil street, Palliapattu, chennai-113).The dealer didn't give me the proper bill, they gave their own bill for one year subscription.They stopped supplying paper from march, with out any reason.I have many times called TOI's customer care, they said me that this is not a valid bill to make a complaint .The paper vendor is still playing hide and seek game.please do something for these kind of frauds.

Times Of India — not receiving paper

For the past 2 years am reading times of india under annual subscription.i hav changed my residence twice in those 2 years.till 2 days back ,i had regular issue of news papers.last year on october i hav renewed my suscription.when i cald the service agency, they are not giving proper responses fornot supplying.i am residing at virugambakkam,chennai,the newspaper service is star services,sanjai gandhi colony,k.k.nagar,chennai.
Till september 2010, the coupon is valid.let this complaint reach times of india office and let them take necessary action.

I have subscribed for TOI, Hyderabad for 6 months under " Dhamaka Offer-I" on 1-June-10 onwards. Last week we had shifted our house. We had already informed regarding the relocation to the TOI office on 9-july-10 itself. But till today we haven't received the paper at our new house. from last 3 days, we are daily calling them and as usual we get the reply as "tomorrow onwards you will get the same and give us some 15 - 20 mins, we will call you back with the exact status" But 15 - 20 mins never comes till now even tomorrow never comes for them...
We have a doubt whether anyone is looking here or not...
I hope it is just an eye wash...
This is the worst service... Never expected this type of service from TOI...

Hi,

In Times of India dated 21/07/2010 I saw movie show timing in delhi times which was showing one show for INCEPTION (dubbed in hindi) at 7:45PM in TGIP, Noida.

So I bought one two tickets and what I found in theater that movie was in english and I also came to know that there was not asingle show in hindi. I had wasted my Rs. 300 + 3 hours + 5 hours tension.

Kindly tell me who is responsible for this mistake ?
Who's paying for this mistake and who should pay ?

If any news paper can not provide right information than at least it should not provide wrong information.

If any email required in this matter kindly inform me. My details are mention below.

I am staying at Adipur, gandhidham, Gujarat last six months but your deler is selling the news paper double the actual cost.YOUR DELER IS NOT TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS.actual peper cost Rs.98 only but your reprasentative demanding more than Rs.150 from customer.please take care of customer.

I am residing in village Bharthal, Sector 26, Dwarka, New Delhi. I was getting my Times of India News paper for the last 20 years through Udar Paper Agency, Bharthal but for the last some time the vendor becomes very careless and supply the newspaper at 8.30 a.m. or some times at 9.00 a.m. which is useless for me because at that time we left for our office. I humbly requested him to come early atleast upto 7.00 a.m. so that I can read the news papers. Instead of my repeated request he did not supply the news paper in time. When I again ask him to come in time he stopped the supply of my News paper. Sir, I am feeling helpless and could not get the Times of India for the last one month. Please let me know what should I do to get the Newspaper supply at my home. If there is any other vender in our area, please let me know. The owner of the Udar Paper Agency is very rough speaking person and challenged that you will not get the News paper at any cost. Hope, you would kind enough to take some immediate action and help me in getting the News paper at my home. I booked one year subscription for Times of India on July 24. Times of India agreed to deliver news paper from 1st of Aug. I reminded on 31th Jul, 1st Aug and 4th Aug to respective vendor. I was not any response from vendor. Then I called to times of India chennai Nandam office on 4th Aug, 6th Aug, 29th Aug and 31st Aug, they said every time, we will come back and paper will come from tomorrow. But today also I was not got the paper. My order No: NAD079992

Dear Sir,

I would like express my dissatisfaction in the way my case has been handled.

I had shifted my residence from 1st June 2010 to the new address

The local vendor has been delivering me the newspapers at my new address, and until 2 weeks back he is demanding Rs.140 to be paid to him for 2 months and told me to renew the subscription by paying additional Rs.299. I called up the customer care and I was told to email to you about this matter.

Therefore I request you to pls arrange for the needful to be done, such that I continue to get the daily copies until my subscription gets over by Sept 16th 2010, without haviing to pay any additional amount to my present local vendor at my new address under the current subscription.

Times Of India — Paper undelivered at my door

Hi,

I have ordered for one year subscription for Times of India English daily news paper in Chennai. My order no is NAC 050210. For almost last three months nobody is delievring the paper at my door. I have called their office many times and also registered complain regarding the same 5times. All the times I calling one lady from TOI end is replying "I will talk to my manager and solve the problem so that paper will be delivered" but the same problem continues. Still I am not getting the papers.

In that it is reported that Sachin scored double ton against Sri lanka, which is incorrect. Sachin scored

double ton against South africa.

Times Of India — Failure of Service after taking money in advance

I have subscribed for TOI for a period of 12 Months starting from
1st Nov. 2010 and the Order No. is 031818.

We were residing at Valasaravakkam earlier and recently shifted to
Moulivakkam. When TOI Person came to our old house for Renewal
we have informed him that we would be shifting soon and he wanted
us to fill the renewal form with the new address and also gave the
contact number of the DRE Ashok @[protected]. When we called
Ashok this morning he said the delivery boy is on the way, even after
2 hours the boy did'nt turn up and when we called the DRE again he
wanted us to sms the address and also told that he can only organise
delivery from tomorrow.

This is gross service failure on the part of TOI and when they cannot
maintain the service level / commitment why did they collect money
in advance ?

Times Of India has just started its distribution at Coimbatore from 14th feb.I have taken 1 year subscription.For 1st 2 days i got paper at 6:0 am after that i didn't get any paper.Now the situation is that every time i have to call the Vendor and he will come at 11:00 am to give paper.If i don't call Vendor will not give paper.These days i am not getting my paper.Its embarrassing moment for me.If time of India can't maintain the distribution correctly than why they are taking money from the customer for subscription.

Whether anyone is there who can resolve this problem.
