This is one aspect where the passengers are not at fault. In general, the railway authorities tend to showcase their powers by negotiating over unwanted issues and not charging bill over it.

coupons — inconvenience caused due to non functioning of the CVMS
I & my friend were travelling through local train this morning; we punched our coupons from the 1st bridge ticket counter of Cherny Road Station. We got down at Dadar station, were a ticket collector caught hold o[censored]s, we showed him the ticket but according to him the timing mentioned on our ticket was incorrect and we were suppose to pay the fine.My point is that my responsibility was to take the right ticket for the right station, how am I liable to pay the fine if the machine is not functioning. It’s the railway authority’s task to keep a check on it.
He took us to his office and the argument went on forever, in the span of 2 hours I realized the amount of torture one faces.
Ultimately willingly or unwillingly this is what leads to corrupted India!
