Dear Sir, I am residing in Chennai - Sholinganallur - Devaraj Nagar Area. I have subscribed to the Times of India (TOI) News paper for the one year time period. My subscription started on 1/12/13 and its valid till 1/12/14. For the past 6 months of time, the news paper was delivered to my home without any problem. But the problem of non-delivery of news paper started 2 weeks (9/06/14) onwards. I have initially raised the complaint on 10/06/14 with the TOI-Chennai customer care[protected] about this non-delivery of news paper to my home. They have taken the complaint. But even after 2 days there was no action taken and i was still facing the problem. Later i have mailed the ToI cusomer care to their mail address - crm.[protected]@timesgroup.com. But even then there wasn't any action taken even after 1 week of time. Later i have approached the ToI Chennai Delivery section Manager to report all these issues. They assured that this will be sorted out with in a day. But even after more than 5 days i am still waiting for the problem to be solved. As a prepaid user, I am really very depressed and disappointed with the way the TOI people are taking the complaint. Can you please help me to resolve this complaint as early as possible ?     I subscribed for one year plan two months back. The field persons of your team (I do not know his name but he is providing in Nungambakam Area) had delivered regularly for 1 months. but after 1 month he is not delivering regularly. In a week, he is delivering for 2 or 3 day only. Today I called this no[protected] for giving a complain regarding this but always busy.
    I hope that this problem will be solve very soon and further it will not happen.

          Hi, I have registered for 12 months subscription and i received the Coupon too. But no one is supplying daily paper and my area THE TIMES OF INIDA supply agent is not even picking his mobile, when i tried to reach him. Could you please let me know, could you people supply the paper regullary or not. Post confirmation we will take decision that whether do we need to continue with THE TIMES OF INDIA or switch to any other news paper. Note: We have missed all important general election news and other important news since i subscribed to TIMES OF INDIA for past one month.

            Over charging & Late delivery By Times of India Vendor(choudhary news agency) in Vasant Kunj New Delhi area . TOI have no control over vendor . The guy came for payment have a attitude "aapko paper lena hai toh etna dena padega " No combo offer and charging for delivery as well . Is there any complain board where we can directly complain to TOI official . He deliver the newspaper after 8 PM, which are no use for us as we go out for office.
            poor service by news paper agency in vasant kunj are . Every one have same complaints.

              I have subscribed to Times of India (subscriber id:[protected]. But the paper is not being delivered to me. I called the helpline[protected], which no one answers. After nearly 100 attempts, I got through. My complaint was registered with ticket number 923750 and was told that some one will contact me in 48 hours. Not it is more than 10 days and no one has contacted. When I try their helpline, no one answers. This is a very bad experience. Please do not subscribe to Times of India in Chennai.

                    Dear Team, Subject Regarding: Poor delivery paper & arrogant behavior by agent: From date of issue of chequein name of time of india there is very poor response from your end. After getting clearance of cheque & we have receivedcoupon, but they are not all delivering the paper properly. if we ask the agent & he in not responding usingabusive languages & he is responding that u can complain to any one nothingcan done. This is arrogant behavior from the agent. & his name Pannerpattabirram agent [protected].As you mentioned in your statement it will be doordelivery But till now theythrowing the paper in some place, some of the days are not even delivering thepaper, we are paying money not for freeof cost if this continues in samefashion &action will be taken legally My order no mentioned below.                         I've have a prepaid annual subscription of TOI+Mumbai Mirror under the name of Pranav Deshpande(my husband, mob no [protected]). Having paid Rs.1050 by cheque through Adrash paper stall at centuary bazar, worli in November 2013, I shifted to Thakur complex, kandivali(e) in Feb 2014. I put a request of transfer of my subcription on 18th Jan with the Times consumer assistance with MS. Seema which according to me as well as her was well in advance. To this date no such transfer has happened. I am paying again for the newspaper over here for the last two months.. Even after various reminders all went on deaf ears..I even provided Ms. Seema with the code of the kandivali paper agency guy... still she always told me that the request has jus been forwarded ahead and the concerned department isn't responding.. Why should i pay double when i have already paid in advance. How much time does Times need for a simple transfer. Yours sincerely, Sampada Deshpande

                          I am subscriber of 12 months subscription of Times Of India and Economics Times in OLD MIG, BHEL, Hyderabad. I did not receive news paper from last 5 days. I informed in the Times Of India office about this change and they assured me that I would be receiving paper from tomorrow. It has been 5 days since I made first complaint in the office about not receiving paper but till now I have not received. Daily I call both the area executive and Times of India office and they assure me saying that from tomorrow onwards I would be receiving paper. But their tomorrow is never coming. Now area executives are not picking up my phone.

                            I am a subscriber of Times of India and Mumbai Mirror since last 6-7 years. Recently after Times of India launched a campaign allowing Economic Times to be subscribed instead of Mirror, I informed my vendor (Surendra Parab, Lalbaug, Mumbai) regarding this. Even after repeated phone calls and following up, he is not providing The Economic TImes instead of Mumbai Mirror. I have already paid for year TOI subscription.

                                I had ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Pebble Blue color) via order number [protected] from Indiatimes online shoppingon 23rd Dec '13 using a flash promo code offering flat 12% off.

                                The order was sucessfully booked and confirmed. The order status showed Verified and mentioned an expected delivery date of 30th Dec '13. Also, SMS was received from the credit card company that your transaction has been converted into EMI scheme with 13% interest with effect from 24th Dec'13.

                                Today, I got a call from Indiatimes shopping call centre telling me that the product is out of stock and they wanted to confirm with me if white color would do instead of the pebble blue color I had ordered. However, my contention to them was that why was the product available for online shopping when the product was out of stock? Why was the order booked? Why was an ecpected dated told to me? Why was the EMI transaction arranged with the Bank by Indiatimes? If the product was out of stock.

                                From this event it seems that Indiatimes Shopping goes overboard in giving out offers which they cannot fulfill snd so they need to depend on all such excuses of "product out of stock" and their other terms & conditions which are forced on consumers to safeguard their interests.

                                Finally, they offer you a cheaper alternative or a different color variant without compensating the consumer for their loss of another opportunity to buy the same color product at cheaper rates than the current rates being offered by them.

                                Worst, when you wish to speak to their customer care before confirming on order cancellation, they go ahead and cancel your order and then tell you to rebook at the current rate which is definately higher. What more you loose out on the other online offers during the period you are expecting your delivery from Indiatimes to face the agony of your order cancellation on account of product stock out later.

                                It has been a really bad experience wonder whether Galaxy S3 is really out of market. Can see them in all stores selling mobile phones in the vicinity of my residence, then why can't Indiatimes source one from them and save having a dissatissfied customer?

                                  R/sir Myself is Dr Rajesh Kapoor who brought the services from Times assisted Matrimony (a matrimony assistance from Times of India, simplymarry.com).I was initially contacted on phone from their side and was lured and impressed from their representative Mr. Gaurav and was told to buy their services worth Rs 5000 after which i was told to be provided with 40 profiles of bride of all of my five preferences in one month (10 profiles every week).I made an online transaction (order ID TM516985) and deposited the money on 19th oct.I was assigned Ms Poonam Verma as Relationship Manager, who were to assist me in providing the profiles.After that i waited for 12 days and I contacted them back regd the services. Only after my call she posted me a mail with six profiles only and that too with unmatched preferences .Next she called me with the words that they dont have enough profiles of my preferences.Then about after 25 days of my 1st day of transaction, i got a mail that my relationship manager has left the job and i will be assigned a new Relation ship manager in the name of Mr Ravi Kumar who called me and assured me to contact on coming monday.again I waited and a call was made to me on Saturday.My whole Month was lost in all their activiteies.I am a Doctor and I have somehow adjusted my month to made myself free for any arrangement If i had to made to meet the bride party.But all time was wasted unproductive.I was contacted again by Ms Neha and was told to start again.During all this, nearly 2 months were gone.Till date I have been shown only those unmatched Six profiles only.I asked for the refund as i now have lost faith and time.But their side has keep on wasting my time and never refunded the money.I had been contacted thereafter by Ms Jhilmil, Mr Shankar, and Ms Ritika.I have mailed them again and again requested multiple time on phone that I don't want to go legal and they should only refund my Rs 5000 back but not surprisingly they haven't resolved the issue. Sir It is not all about the money, I have been made fun of by my relatives and friends regarding this online partner finding concept.I have felt so embarrassed facing such nonsense again and again. I want to take a legal step against them and I wish that they must learn a lesson so that people like me get a sense of relief that No one can simply gets away after cheating you and playing with your emotions. Please guide me that How Strong Can I go in this regard. Thanks

                                        Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a vodafone mobile prepaid card from my mobile device dealer of mulund, mumbai, india after submitting the required documents duly signed on 22.11.2011. I got it activated after 2 days after verification from concerned vodafone authorities. On 24.10.2013 I got an sms (don't even called me and informed) from vodafone stating that 'you have to submit your documents to your nearest vodafone gallery, otherwise service will be terminated'. And on the same day within hours itself my vodafone mobile services stopped. I submitted my documents on 26.10.2013 to your vodafone gallery in mulund, mumbai. They told me to wait for 10 days to get it activated. So I waited for 14 days, but nothing had happened. So I visited 2 times again to the same gallery, got a simillar reply 'very sorry, your number will be active within 2 hours'. But nothing had happened. Anyway finally it got activated on 16.11.201 (a long 25 days without mobile service to get my documents verified.). And above all my balance in account is nilled by vodafone. I contacted vodafone customer care and got a reply saying that 'DOT rejected my documents hence, number got disconnected. However after submitting fresh documents sim services are activate on 16/11/13. The balance from the prepaid account has been forfeited and won’t be carried forward.' Can anyone tell me where I am in fault... DOT should punish vodafone OR me. Can vodafone answer my questions... 1. How will I know whether the mobile dealer did / not submit my documents to vodafone?. If not how could they activate my number? 2. And if they did not submit the documents to you, why you did not inform me in the last 2 years period? 3. How much time did you give me to submit my documents? Why there is no oral communication to me in advance?. (Please note that I submitted the same documents which i submitted with local mobile dealer) 4. Why your person took 25 days to activate my service? So responsibile you are???? 5. I could not find a single mistake from myside, then who will compensate for my lost 25 days service and who will re-imburse my lost prepaid balance in my mobile number? And now I afraid that the simillar issue can happen with anyone or even with me again and dot will stop and my balance will be foreited even though I submitted all valid documents. Is it a way of earning additional income by vodafone. Why Vodafone who is keeping my documents made this mistake and not getting any punishment from DOT. DOT should punish vodafone for such an irresponsible behaviour? DOT punished me who is not in fault or not aware that my documents are not with vodafone. HOW CAN I RELY ON VODAFONE.
