[Resolved]  Times Of India, Goa Edition — NON RECEIPT OF SUBSCRIPTION COPY

same here, its been 2 days n we hav not yet received the Times of India, Goa Edition.. my order no is GAB0006047... im from borda margao...
this is a shame on the coveted Times group... is this a case of Mass Negligience or A FRAUD case?

Its d same on my side...we still havent received it in Taleigao...My order no. is GAA0003710 ...repeated calls to their office...has shown no results...who are we supposed to turn to????

I am also the sufferer. When can we expect our copy? I am loosing my trust on times group.

I am also the sufferer. My subscriber copy has to be collected from the News paper vendor Kunde newspaper agent, near Keni Pharmacy, Cuncolim, Salcete Goa. If I do not collect the copy personally, thecopies are piled and whenever I reach the newspaper agent shop, I collect it. Can something be done? Or should I approach the consumer cell with my complaint? as it is gross violation of the basic purpose of the subscription. Do something at the earlist or all the consumers will be forced to go to the consumers court.

I Sharmila Landge from Porvorim is a International Tennis Ball Cricket player and have represented India in the International Triangular series in India. I have been regular member of Goa Tennis Ball Cricket women team for last 7 years wherein Goa state team have won 5 senior women Gold and 8 federation Cup gold for the state of Goa.

As per my information, Tennis ball cricket is a recognized game of Govt. of India and Govt. of Goa and all facilities pertaining to other games are enjoy by Tennis ball cricket in Goa and is ranked 2nd best in the State of Goa after baseball.

But I herewith want to tell you that all the newspapers and electronic media are giving valuable coverage when our team wins at national level or conduct championship in Goa.

But as per my knowledge your paper covers only football and cricket in you newspaper for last one year giving 80 to 90 % of the pages to above games denying other games of Goa such as baseball, tennis ball cricket, taikwando, boxing etc which are performing at the highest level.

I here request you sir to kindly look into the matters and give equal mileage to all the sports and sports personalitities irrespective of games they play.

Please do the needful for the sake of poor man's games of Goa

Since then i have been receiving a lot of phone calls and people tease me .which is really offending ..

this is not a complaint but its a request to the editor of times of india, goa to print an article regarding the hostel of goa dental college.The new hostel of goa dental college which was inaugarated on jan 25th 2009, has not alloted to the students still.the new hostel is just lying there like a show piece.the students of gdc are in a need of hostel.since most of come travel from far off places lots of time gets wasted and we dont hav much of time to study.
i kindly request the editor to look into this matter
