Times Of India — Non-receipt of TOI

Sir,

I have subscribed for TOI in the scheme of Rs. 299/- from 16 July 2009. Initially, for two weeks I received the Newspaper from 31 Aug 2009, I didnot receive newspaper. Already, I made an e-mail on 03 Sep 09. I spoke to agent as well as TOI complaint cell. But so far no reply. Please try to solve the problem. If am not getting any reply, there is no alternative I have to go to court. Please intervene in this matter.

The TImes of India — no coupon till date

I had paid 475 Rupees vide cheque no 017681 dated 05/07/2009 for The times of India and Economic Times combo via dealer Ramesh ([protected]).I have not recieved the coupon till date inspite of repeated reminders.

i am Arivanantham, a resident of 1/482A, Murugesan Nagar, Thoraip[akkam, Chennai. Till three months before, we were availing the newspaper facility properly.But for last 3 months, we are unable to get the newspaper facility at home. Newspaper venders are Mis-using their monopoly and with no sufficient grounds, they have decided not to deliver newspaper to us.Actually a conversation was happened between newspaper vendor and us, and the matter was not substantial one. it was related to few bad deliveries of newspaper by newspaper vendor and instead of accepting his mistake, he decided not to deliver newspaper to us just because to prove his power.
Already I complained nearly 12 time to your Complaint Number.Mr Rajan is attended my phone, but he was asked my complaint but he was not tokk any steps for this problem. He told "i will tell your area representative he will deal the problem" but no bodies call me. last three months i was not received my paper. Agent Name is Mr Thirumurugan, Area : thoraipakkam, My Subscription number is NAB 038972 My Mobile Number is [protected]. Please take necessary steps for my problem.

TIMES OFINDIA — NON RECEIPT OF SUBSCRIPTION

Dear all,

PLEASE DO NOT SUBSCRINE TO TIMES OF INDIA!

Kindly note that we have been a regular subscriber of TOI for the last two years, from 1st of Dec ’10 the news paper vendor has suddenly stopped issuing the daily to us, in spite of taking one time payment in advance they have not obliged their credibility. Hence all that we can suggest is please it’s always better to procure paper from local vendors than subscribing to corporate who do not even have a courtesy to al least call you and find out the problem.
