Dear sir,

I had complaint about your address on 31-12-09 regarding excess amount charged in ordinary bus from Madurai to Chennai.I had mentioned the bus no and tickets nos in my earlier mail..The concerned conductor receieved Rs.200 per head (5 tickets totalling Rs.1000/=)in ordinary bus which was superscribed in front glass. I asked you to refund the excess amount at earliest to my above address.

I am ramkumar from sadivayal (Siruvani), my complaint is about irregular bus timings from Sadivayal (Siruvani) to coimbatore (Gandhi puram). this is a rural area moreover there is a very rare bus facility in our area. In morning we have a moffussal bus (TN 38 N 1384) at 7.50am from siruvani to coimbatore. my complaint is about this bus irregular time service by drivers Mr.Krishnasamy and Mr. Kuppuraj. They both in thier shifts are not following their regular bus time. they are departing eary in advance at 7.40am from sadivayal to coimbatore, and also in the evening 7.15pm (7.30pm regular time) coimbatore(Gandhi Puram) to sadivayal, already we hae
complained to TNSTC coimbatore division but no action was taken .

i am travelling from bangalore to gudiyattam every week end days gudiyattam 444g . i am catch the bus at electronic city the bus fare was 117.o only but the conducter 128 collected around 11 rs.extra the stage was introduced electronic city . i complaint many time this regards to gudiyattam branch but there is no action . we request you sir please look and slove ASAP this is againts Transport law.

it will be most helpful if the TNSTC-VPM bus operation made during the night hours from chengalpet to broadway (or) tambaram with all stop service, though the bus fare made twice than the daytime fare. Thanks in advance.

I'm also a passenger like others, my complaint issues may be funny but we've to think of it. I have Reserved two tickets journy date of 20th of Oct 2009 4:00 O'clk bus from Nagercoil to Bangalore.
When we entered into the Bus Conductor told us to change the reserved seats. We have not agreed for the same, since it is reserved one.

When we have reached Bommnahalli(Bangalore) next day early morning 4:30am. We (husband and wife) asked driver to stop in Bomnahalli Bus stop, They Intensionally did't stoped the Bus over there, because we have not agreed to change reserved seat.
As per my knowledge need to suspend both stupid drivers from Transportation.
If it leads like this, nobody will look into SETC. Private is far better.

Pondicherry - Villupuram, express buses has been arranged by TNSTC, bus normally run in the same speed of buses that are running route number 248.

The only thing is, it wont stop in any bus stops. They neither obey traffic rules nor responding the opposite side counters. This is a seriou issue. How to handle the expresses buses in the opposite direction

Sir,
Requesting to start some additional fast passenger services from Thenkasi to Punalur and vice versa as the meter gauge train service had been cancelled for the gauge conversion. Nowadays commuters are forced to depending parallel services to reach their homes from both places due to the lack of buses. It is a great solace to the commuters if provide additional buses s in these routes (THENKASI-PUNALUR)

I am Requesting to extend some long distanced services commencing from Schenctotai such as Bangalore, Chennai, and Coimbatore to Punalur, Kerala State. Punalur is just 50km away from schencottai and the permit approval can be resolved by entering into a new interstate agreement by the both state transport authorities.

I would like to inform your kind attention that the ERNAKULAM-TOOTHUKKUDI services run by SETC are mainly plying through Punalur KOLLAM, ALAPUZHA instead ofPUNALUR, PATHANAMTHITTA, KOTTAYAM or PUNLUR, ADUR, KAYAMKULAM, ALAPUZHA.
The same route run by KSRTC is choosing KOTTAYAM, PATHANAMTHITTA PUNALUR because this is the main route towards EKM from Punalur(25 KM lessthan Via KOLLAM) and is connecting KTM CHRY PTA. Please look into this matter.

i m using vodafone prepaid connection for 5 years but in my area(murugesh palaya) if i go inside of room
there is no tower signal.in rainy season we r not able to come out

All of you know about this, to day i travelled by tnstc bus from avnashi to tirupur, Ticket no :VRP-19 62659 for rs.4/-. I saw this that the bus went to new bustand only in S.A.P stopping some passengers waiting to go to new busstand they enquired to go to new bustand the blady bostard conductor lied it is not go to newbustand. i shout the bladdy but he not heared my words. so you dont use tnstc buses the drivers and conductors and the transport officials may go to take a mud pot to beg their food in the busstops who the peoples are waiting for the private buses.

Instead of taking SETC UD bus please take karanatak sarige...There are lot of advantages of going by sarige.
Advantages of Sarige:-
1.Dont have bedbugs.
2.Maintenance is good compare to SETC UD bus.
3.TV is not there.So no disturbance.
4.Atleast u can sleep for 3 hours.
The only disadvantage by going this bus is We have to sit straightly for our whole journey.
Now come to SETC...We will see disadvantage first...
Disadvantages of SETC:
1.Lot of Bedbugs.I[censored]silamani(actor) travels in this bus then he will change to ooma kuchi narasiman(actor)
2.No maintenace..
3.TV will run up to 1 0'clock...After 1 o'clock bedbugs will torture us.
4.Seat smell is good.I dont know what perfume they are using.What a smell apppa...We cannot turn and sleep.
5.Some window glasses are broken and i dont know when it will fall.
6.Curtains are not porper...
7.etc...
Advantage:
1.Ticket will be available even 2 days before journey...The reason is we dont have online booking facility...

S.E.T.C bus services is more economical and comfortable, so we preferred that one.
But Buses from Bangalore to Chennai or Vice-versa having more bed bugs. Not even a single bus escape from this problem.
So we can’t able to think about the setc bus travel for journey.
This problem is not fixed from so long back.
so no use of this site...

Every bus from Chennai-Bangalore is having this bed bugs problem. It is just sucking the blood. Just because it is economical we use SETC. But after travelling i had to spend another 200 for doctor. This is the real situation. Worst worst worst maintainence. What are the officials doing without even maintaining a basic insecticidal issue. Fed up with this service. I prefer only KSRTC. It is economical, safe, bugs free, faster and comfortable journey.

The following are the negative points in SETC and Tamil nadu transport

1. BOOM TV world worst tv channel.
2.muttapuchi in seat
3, just for Name sake time keeper. Every bus starts late. Poor customer service.
4.using bad words by the conductors.
5.poor bus condition.
5. Stopping in between some worst shop . wer every thing will be costly without quality.

Why not you can ask help from KSRTC (karnataka)because they are really good. other wise ask them to take care of our bus service.they are super.

Let me tell some buses have the problem

1. Kanya kumari to vellore- Schedule time to reach madurai at 9.00pm. but they will reach at 12.00pm. traveler better they can travel next day.

2. Bangalore- Chennai A/C -ticket rate is rs.215 ...he got rs.230 from me.(A/C doesnt work)

3. yesterday i travel from vellore to Bangalore- traveling time it tooks 7 hours.


I am the person enjoy my life in travelling. Because of your transport facilities i hate travelling.

Above everything happened within 3 month


Please keep some spy. I think you will improve .other wise people will lose the hope in SETC.

TN SETC doesn't maintain anything at all.. Its completely waste of that setc bus service.. Main issue in setc is BEDBUGS are major prob.
Atleast ADMK govt. should take step with this bus service and should provide good soln for this service..

TN SETC maintenance is worst. I have reserved online from Chennai to Hosur at 11 PM setc bus on Sunday. But I get down at Vellore because the Bus has lot of bed bugs. The peoples especially wih kids travelled in that bus suffered a lot and I assure they won't come again for travel.I beg the ADMK govt to provide solution for the same else the Transportation will go in loss.

Not only in that route. In all the routes, SETC / TNSTC Ultra deluxe is full of bed bug.

Nice to see your complaint sir, but who is going to look onto this? BM of Sirkali? He will be sitting in the Cholan Shed near old bustand and the time keeper will be sitting inside the 'cage' in new bustand!

Dont waste your time and this precious internet which they are not aware!

BUS DOESNOT ENTER INTO BUS STAND [DATE:27/07/2010]
Dear sir, I am the regular passenger travelling from chengam to Tirupattur.In Tirupattur, the bus does not come into bus stand and asked the passengers to get down at the bus depot without any valid reason causing hardships to all particularly aged people and women with their children.This practice is still in process.This practice automatically decreases the number of passengers travelled in that bus.
I request you to take necessary action against the bus driver and conductor. Route No:285, From TIRUVANNAMALAI to TIRUPATTUR
Time(Morning) Starting time [at chengam] - 6.40 AM
Reached [at Tirupattur]-7.55AM

SUB : Compliance againsts Gingee depot driver - Not stopping and used unnecessary words

I am vijayakumar working for Siemens Information services ltd at Electronic city - Bangalore.
I was plan to travel from Bangalore to Gingee on 28.08.2011 and thought to have the bus from Electronic city.
On that day around 2.50 pm i reached over there and waiting for the Gingee bus(direct bus- Gingee Depot & Bus No :Tn 32 N 3472).
In the same bus my friend got in at Silkboard and informed to condutor to stop the bus at Electronic city, as five of my friends were waiting there and
he agreed and he himself ask to stop the bus to driver, But the driver didn't stop at electronic city bus stop,
even the bus has more than 8 vacate seats.We all ran to catch the bus while it crossing the stop even other corporation
buses were stoppped there(Salem, Chennai, etc).While the time three more buses are stopped in the bus stop but that driver seen us
and doesn't stop. More than 15 people were waiting for that bus.After crossed that stopping my friend ask to that driver
but that driver scold my friend and the way of treat is not good and he used unnecessary words to him.After Osur only the bus got full if you have doubt please
the report on the day service.

Because these kind of Employers only your corporation is going down.

i am living Mari mangalam village route of arakkonam to ponnamalli via parambakkam. i am working in sri perumbudur. last three months the bus no '138B' not coming at the bus time it always coming the late time and the bus first and last single not going to kappan kotur village. passengers are not going to our office time. so please take the necessary action as soon as possible.
