Bus conductor mis behaves with the passenger.

it was vizupuram controlled bus Red colored hosur to chennai,bus no 303 starts. it was around 10:30 night on friday 10 th april. Conductor refused to take passengers of vellore. he wanted only chennai passengers,
i asked him WILL IT STOP AT VELLORE, HE SAID NO. BUT IN THE NAME PLATE IT WAS WRITTEN, IT WILL GO VIA VELLORE TO CHENNAI. I again insisted him but he started abusing me and he was dare enough to say note this bus no and lodge a complaint against him.

i made a complaint at the hosur depot, they said it under vizupuram control, they are always like this.
even depot checking ispector was unhappy about vizupuram transport controlled buses.

i myself facing this misbehaviourin attitude with vizupuram bus conductors many times.
is really Vizupuram transport corporation gives this much liberty to the bus conductors?
are they only concerned about the collection money?

i have already lodged a complaint for the same. now i am going to RTI act and wanted to know about the actions they have taken.

i would require progress for this complaint also.
i am ready to attend any calls to my mobile regarding this complaint

Conductor miss behave with me
I ask to sethiyathope cross road ticket for me. The conductor said bad words and said go back any other private buses
root no. 399 is non stop chidambaram to chennai bus no.TN21 N1440 time at 7 pm in out of chidambaram bus stand of way pulled down me and other 2 passengers from the running bus. Take action immediately to the conductor.

OVER SMOKE

Respected sir, In Coimbatore city the vehicle no.TN38N1940 bearing Bus route no.2J is running with over black smoke. It spoils the health of passengers and general people going in road. Kindly take immediate action.

    I travel from Tiruvallur to Chennai everyday to office, I come by Tamil Nadu State Transport corporation. Today I travelled by a bus from Tirupathi to Chennai (bus number 201). The bus came near the Koyambedu bus stop and the driver stopped the bus before it entered the station. For 15 mins it was standing at the same place, when asked y is it, he told the conductor went to buy the breakfast for them. This happens regularly, the buses come near the koyambedu bus stop and they go for breakfast and come after 10 or 15 mins.

    Can action be taken on this, please let me know.

      Today Morning i ll travel by bike from chengalpattu to santhome (6:30 onwards) in the time near to Vandalur, one of the SETC bus driver will drive the very poor condition, he will beet me by two time and the driver is using the bad word to me.

        lack of bus services from kanchipuram to chennai during full & No moon day, since diverting all buses towars tiruvanamali & malmalaiyanur as special service. for example: on 15 march from 6.30 to 7.30 not even a single bus to chennai in all different routes(76b, 76c, 79). Only MTC 576 & Vellore depot 276 or 130 available with huge rush.
        people are facing more dificulties, please take necessary action.

        HI,

        I hope transport service persons doing well-job. eventhough i want to convey my suggestions and request to transport service.
        1st thing is they should be response properly when public ask any questions that regarding bus departure and arrival.

        2nd thing is i m in nigh-shift. i cant catch 12'0 clock of 130 bus that goes from koyambedu which towards kanchipuram and cheyyar. so, 2nd thing is my selfish only. but so many public was waiting still early morning which if that 12'0 clock bus miss. so, i m requesting that plz change that 12'o clock bus timings to 12.45 to 1'o clock. and also i m kindly requesting that for kanchipuram u can leave bus for every 1 hour which its necessary for public and also u can appoint drivers only for that night shifts means drivers can work also shift basis. again i m requesting transport service persons doing good job. i m just requesting to solve our problems also. bcoz i cant able to catch 12'o clock bus, so here what i m asking arrange alternative for that which not only for me also it will help all the public.

          I am Ram Kumar Maity. I work at Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research at Kalpakkam. I am a resident of Pondicherry and travel by TNSTC every Sunday evening from Pondicherry to Kalpakkam via ECR. However every Sunday evening all the buses are reserved for Chennai passengers, forcing all the passengers travelling to places like Kalpakkam, Mahabalipuram etc. to travel standing in buses. I find this grossly unfair as there are no other buses other than Pondicherry Chennai buses to make these journeys. Therefore either there should be some buses earmarked for carrying passengers to intermediate destinations on ECR or there should be a quota in each bus for such passengers.

          can't stop in the bus stops

          I am travelling from palani to dindigul at daily. I am travelling in government TNSTC bus TN57N1856. In this bus driver can't stop in the proper bus stops and can't give respect for students also. So please take a proper action

            Dear sir,
            I would like to log a complaint against the conductor on the TNSTC bus from Salem to Chennai on 21st Feb 2010 night.
            Even though I asked specifically for a ticket to Tambaram, he gave me a ticket to Chennai which costs RS.9 extra. When asked why, he just said 'appadi thaan' meaning 'thats the way it is'.

            The reason I want to log this complaint is not because I can not afford the RS.9, but there are a lot of people (for example my parents who do farming near Mettur) strive very hard even to earn 1 ruppee and even if government employees take away the money like this, where is honesty and justice?

            The bus number is Salem 0878. My ticket number is AJ61658 (issued at 21:00:02 hours on 21/02/2010 from SALEM to CHENNAI). I did not notice the conductor's name, but he wears a spectacles and is a middle aged man.

            I would like to know if this is acceptable.

            It is not acceptable. Either post a complaint with TNSTC senior manager leverl eople or handle it your own to get justice. Do not allow anyone to take away reason and justice.

              Hi,

              I was travelling from Villupuram to Chennai in my car on 14 Feb 2010. I started at villupuram by 5:10 Pm and reached Vikrivandi Toll Plaza at around 5:30 PM. When i was to enter one of the way to the counter a TNSTC Bus (TN 32 - 2871) Side No. 19/VPM, Thittakudi to Chennai bound, crossed on my way suddenly without any horn or signal and entered in my way to counter. I have to apply my brakes at full swing to stop my car. That driver does not mind the speed breaker also. He is not aware that he is responsible for the life of all the passengers throught the journey. This negligence and carelessness of the driver irritated me, even the executives at the toll plaza was shouting at him. But that Driver was cool and said in tamil "Naan appadithaan ootuven" (meaning: I will drive like that ony!!!!). After that i noted the number and made a complaint with the Time Keeper at Thindivanam. I was willing to give a written complaint but the time keeper was refused to get that and promised me that he will take necessary action against the driver.

              I dont know what action he took? but I would like to bring this rash driving and negligence of the driver to the following persons:
              1. The Managing Director , TNSTC Villupuram
              2. The Branch Manager, TNSTC Thitakkudi

              An humble request to the drivers of public transport: DONT PLAY WITH THE LIFE OF PASSENGERS ON BOARD AND OTHERS ON ROAD!!!!!!


              Will TNSTC take action????? or they going to support these kind of drivers??????

              TNSTC-Villupuram — Request from a Passenger

              Dear Sir,

              Most of the TNSTC Buses from Pondicherry to Chennai and Chennai to Pondicherry never stops at valid bus stops even when there is enough seats availability. But they never fail to stop at hotels at Kadapakkam/ Marakanam/Kovalam for more than 15 Mins, since they (Driver/Conductor) get free food and etc. These hotels are not so hygienic at the same time they charge heavily from the passengers.

              None of the passenger likes to stop the bus at these hotels.

              There are many passengers & working people who use these buses for going to office, are suffering every day. Hence I request you to look into this issue and help the passengers.

              I am gubendiran.r. working as postman at mundiyambakkam post office. my humble request you to pl u take steps to stop (Somasipadi) the stop at bus route no. 158 from tiruvannamalai to pondicherry. So many peoples want to take treatment at pondicherry jipmer. They wait at bus stop in morning time but your busses r not stop that stopping regularly. That village peoples r already take action and get request stop. but till now nobody cant stop your corporation bus. pl. u take necessary action and save that peoples life. All privat busses r stop that place. Otherwise you to take to stop 122 service in timingly. i awit your reply (i full confident to u sir).

              hello, sir today[13.12.2011] 8:40am the bus no. is 1A route of villupuram to kandamangalam the conductor is not good because they use very vulgar words to passenger and not given the balance amount . they told always no change no change.and driver is not stopped in stopping, so i unable to went the college.

              Dear sir, I am narayanan on 10.5.14 I boarded the bus no.TN 32 N 3798 TNSTC villupuram chennai puducherry bus at Mariamalai nagar bus stop at 4.32 pm. Since I don't have change I gave rs.100 for ticket to koyambedu and requested him to issue ticket. He scolded me in unparliamentary bad words not considering my age and not gave change and challenged me if you have guts get the balance from anybody. He has signed in the backside of the ticket. I am very much pained and suffered severe mental agony due to this. Kindly take necessary action against the errant conductor, compensate for my mental agony caused and refund the excess amount collected and render justice. I submit the proof whenever necessary

              Dear sir,

              Psychological Stress is one among the factor that causes cancer and other health disorders.

              I am one among the sufferer who gets anxiety when we have to travel from pondicherry to chennai via tambaram in the monday mornings.

              the anxiety develops for us right from the beginning of the weekend that whether we will get a seat to travel on monday morning. The reservation for ECR is wonderfully done but for passengers travel via tambaram they have to fight to get a seat in the morning.

              I request to provide reservations for travelling atleast on monday mornings. I have seen people quarrel in bus from the beginning till the end of journey.

              there might be reasons for not availing reservations but troubling the people to start their week with a frustration and irritation is a pathetic state in our country.

              I know government corporations take these issues very light. The incidents of quarrel and fight to get a seat among passenger happens every monday, a quick action is the need of hour before serious crimes occur.

              நான் மே மாதம் 28 ஆம் தேதி சனிக்கிழமை மதியம் 2.30 மணிக்கு காஞ்சிபுரம் பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் உள்ள திருச்சி (TN21 N 1695) பேருந்தில் அமர்திருந்த போது நடத்துனர் உள்ளே ஏறி வயதான ஒருவரையும் இன்னொரு பெண்ணையும் கீழே இறங்கும்படி அநாகரிகமான வார்த்தைகளால் திட்டி பெரியவரை இழுக்க முற்சித்தார். அந்த பெரியவர் இந்த வெயிலில் எப்படி நிற்பது என்று பணிந்து கேட்ட போதும் தவறான வார்த்தைகளால் கடிந்தார். அமர்திருந்த நான் எதற்கு இப்படி நடந்து தவறாக நடந்து கொள்கிறீர்கள் என்றதற்கு என் மீதும் கோவமாக கடுமையான வார்த்தைகாளால் பேசினார்.வந்தவாசி செல்பவர்கள் எவ்வாறு செல்வார்கள் என்று வினவியதற்கு அருகில் இருந்த நாராயணமூர்த்தி தனியார் பேருந்தில் செல்லுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார்.மறுத்ததற்கு கையை நோக்கி அடிக்க வந்தார்.புகார் அளிக்க இருப்பதால் பெயரை கேட்டதற்கு பெயரை தெரிவிக்க மறுத்து உன்னால் என்ன செய்ய புடங்க முடியுமோ புடுங்கு என்றார் பின்பு நேர காப்பாளரை அழைத்து வந்து இறங்கும் படி மிரட்டினார்.இதை பற்றி விழுப்புரம் பொது மேலாளரிடம் அன்று மாலை 3.39 மற்றும் 4.46 மணிக்கு நடத்துனரின் தவறான செயல்கள் பற்றியும் பெயர் பலகை அணியாதது பற்றியும் விரிவாக [protected] தொலை பேசியில் புகார் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது பின்பு திங்கட்கிழமை 30 ஆம் தேதி மாலை 3.44 மணிக்கு நினைவுக்கு கொண்டு சென்றேன் இருப்பினும் எந்த பதிலும் இல்லை. தவறு செய்தவர்களை தண்டித்து சமுதாயத்தில் தவறை முற்றிலும் அழிக்கும்படி பணிவன்புடன் வேண்டுகிறேன்.

                we have booked a bus ticket from tuticorin to chennai. The bus was scheduled to start at 620 pm. Due to some reasons there has been a delay in the schedule, however other buses on the same route are on time. It has not occurred to the corporation to intimate relevant passengers neither reallocate any other bus for these passengers. No one is taking responsibility for this. It is high time they change this attitude towards consumers.

                  My son, who is a first year college student, was travelling from Walajapet to Kancheepuram by Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation bus (Route No.156; TN 23 N 1789) on 08 Feb. 2010. He boarded the bus at Walajapet, but took a five minutes time to ask for a ticket (Ticket No.027832 with RT No 501). Though he asked for the ticket, he himself voluntarily, the conductor abused him vulgarly and shouted at him using bad language for the delay. Though he expressed sorry and requested him not to use bad language, he continued it for some time. During the travel when he asked some details from the driver, he also joined the abuse.
                  Who gave them the right to use bad language and abuse badly for the mistake he did inadvertently? Is this the way for the public servants to behave like this to the younger generation? This kind of attitude and approach by the crew towards the growing young generation is totally wrong in my opinion and it is also much harmful to the society indirectly in general.
                  My son was offended by this very much and wanted to know the way to express his anger towards their behavior. May I request the authorities concerned to take note and do the needful to provide facilities to express their grievances to ventilate and also to train their crew appropriately to deal with the passenger.

                  I never forget, one day a government servant wiht his wife came to koeam bedu. on the way at arumbakkam he was checked by the TT .The officer gave proper reply and he got ticket to his wife and one thirty rupees ticket to him.The TT didnt accept his ticket and pulled him down with furious infront of his wife.But the gentle man again asked the TT why you behaved like this and made me shame.TT replied that dont ask any thing pay Rs 500/- atonce and go with your wife otherwise you be here and send your wife . i will not accept your ticket . The office r replied i am a government servant.He didnt accept and made his shame.
                  i dont know what happen later . after 10 minutes we moved but the government servant was ashamed. He alone knows the fact.

                    I traveled from Madurai to Chennai in a SETC bus on 9th september 2010, The bus started its journey at 2.45PM from Mattuthavani bus stand, Madurai. The bus reached Koyembedu, Chennai at 1.30AM (Midnight). What a wonderful journey it is.

                    If you guys want to waste your time, energy then you all must travel in a SETC bus. If you are going for an Interview, travel in a SETC bus.

                    If you guys looking for the same experience what I had, then please book your tickets today in a nearby SETC ticket booking center.

                    Please do not forget to watch Boom TV. What a wonderful channel it is. (Surely you will have headache before your destination arrives)

                    Guys go ahead travel in SETC and please do not forget to share your wonderful experience.

                    It is very worst to travel in SETC. The very irritating thing is watching the Boom tv. Not at all good songs or comedy sequence are played. they play some worst scenes and songs from the films which are certified mostly 'A'. If you are traveling back within two days you have been put to watched the same worst things.
                    It creates some psychological problems, like you get irritated when we forced to watch or hearing things which we offense.

                      Dear Sir,

                      My native is S.S>Kottai in Sivagangai Dist., Every bus used to stop here for Pick up & Drop off except some express buses. I was travelling from Madurai to S.S.Kottai on 16th Jan 2010, the cinductor told me that the bus will not stop there in SS Kottai & he refused to give issue the ticket. The travel tie is approximately 8:30 PM from Madurai Mattuthavani Bus stand.We were four includes my aunties & brother. I was asking to conductor to give in writing this bus will not stop in SS kottai & also the control room telephone number to contact and ask them why this will not stop?? He refused to do both. He gave ticket up to Melur & he went off without response.

                      This kind of non responsible conductors and the TNSTC Team should avoid the behaviour. They should have inmplemented the 24Hr Call center number for probelms in bus itself.

                      Hope we need to fight with this government bus systems and priblems to sort iut.

                        I had traveled from vilipuram to trichy by bus number TN 63 N 1195 on 15th Jan 2010.We experienced huge inconvenience since the travel time took about 3.5 to 4 hours due to very slow movement by the driver.Given that all o[censored]s have busy schedules,this is a matter to be looked into.The driver was going at a rate of 30 kmph on a highway road almost free in the afternoon.When asked about it the driver did not reply properly.He blamed the bus for not being able to speed which is absurd since the bus was destined from vilipuram to madurai.Given that the driver was also old, it is the role of TNSTC to ensure that fit drivers undertake a long distance driving as a job and not cause such problems to travelers.

                            Normal bus charge is Rs 3 and Express bus charge is Rs 5 and this is a express bus stopped at all the stops but the charge is express charge.

I asked you to refund the excess amount at earliest to my above address.

                              I have travelled Yesterday[protected]from RAJAPALAM TO CHENNAI Avadi through TNSTC ultradeluxe bus. I have reserved my tickets by paying Rs.320/- from the counter. When i was boarding conductor took my reservation ticket and iisued me Ticket for Rs.305/- Instead of Rs.320/-. I asked the conductor that you have check and return only the reservation ticket to me because i am a regular passenger of TNSTC,SETC bus. He was informing me that he will give tickets worth Rs.305/-only in a rude manner and explaining me that is the rules. Then i told him i am on a official visit i have to submit my ticket if you are giving me ticket for Rs.305/-then how can i claim Rs.320/- from my office.

                              He was informing in cruel manner that he will give ticket for Rs.305/- only. If you have any thing to say you may get down. I informed him this is not a good note dont talk like this Rs.15/- is not a matter to me but i have doubt on you . He simply saying that you may comlaint to anybody. Another co-passenger who is also transport employees of the same branch informing me that if you are going to compalin him. It will not work because the concerned branch manager is very close relative to him. And he is from RULING party trade union.

                              After some time he was coming to me and informing that if you want you come or you may get down at here .That area is dense forest.

                              He made my travel in a bad way.
                              Now a days they are also behaving very abnormal to the passendger.That s why all are prefering to go by OMNI or Travels Bus.

                                I am frequent traveler in SETC from Bangalore to Tirunelveli and Tirunelveli to Bangalore. Recently I came to know that Route No: 874 UD is been cancelled which starts in Bangalore at 5PM.

                                This was running in a convenient time and most of the time reaches Tirunelveli before 6 AM. Stopping this service is forcing people to travel in the private buses. So kindly reintroduce this service again or modify the time of route no 873 (Udangudi) instead of 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and convert this service as High way Rider so as to reach Tirunelveli before 6 AM. Most of the offices gets over by 5 PM or 5:30 PM and the buses which is starting before 5:30 PM are not very much useful to the common public who wants to travel from Bangalore.
                                2) This bus which was starting from Tirunelveli at 6 PM is also cancelled. Any bus which starts later than 6 PM will not help the people who want to go for duty. Kindly re-introduce route no: 874 or modify the timings of route no 873 to start from Tirunelveli at 6:30 PM and reach Bangalore before 6:30 PM.
                                3) Opening for online – booking to public will be very helpful and reduces the rush and the manpower in the reservation counter. This also helps SETC to plan and introduce special services during festival season.
                                4) Kindly introduce another boarding point near St. John’s Hospital at Bangalore similar to the Electronic City boarding point.

                                  I travelled on 22/11/09 from Koyembedu Bus stand to Coimbatore by TNSTC A/C 10.00PM bus.


                                  While sitting in the but itself at 9.45 PM it was notice by the passenger and driver of the bus that the A/C was not working. When the passengers complained to the driver and the conductor they initially said that it will be alright after we start then latter they said there is a problem and it will be rectified after Vellore. But nothing was done. Entire night all the passenges travelled with sweat and soffaction.

                                  After paying Rs.450 /- for a/c fair we had to travel without sleep in soffaction. We could have travelled in a non A/C bus comfortably with lesser fair if they could have disclosed the truth before staring from Chennai.

                                  My seat number was 32.


                                  No refund of money was offer. When asked the conductor said that we have to contact the booking office from where the ticket was taken.

                                  Please forward this complaint to the concerned authority and request him to initiate action against the resposible person who has decided to run the bus without a/c instead of making an alternate arrangement.

                                  I am ramkumar from sadivayal (Siruvani), my complaint is about irregular bus timings from Sadivayal (Siruvani) to coimbatore (Gandhi puram). this is a rural area moreover there is a very rare bus facility in our area. In morning we have a moffussal bus (TN 38 N 1384) at 7.50am from siruvani to coimbatore. my complaint is about this bus irregular time service by drivers Mr.Krishnasamy and Mr. Kuppuraj. They both in thier shifts are not following their regular bus time. they are departing eary in advance at 7.40am from sadivayal to coimbatore, and also in the evening 7.15pm (7.30pm regular time) coimbatore(Gandhi Puram) to sadivayal, already we hae
                                  complained to TNSTC coimbatore division but no action was taken .

                                    i am travelling from bangalore to gudiyattam every week end days gudiyattam 444g . i am catch the bus at electronic city the bus fare was 117.o only but the conducter 128 collected around 11 rs.extra the stage was introduced electronic city . i complaint many time this regards to gudiyattam branch but there is no action . we request you sir please look and slove ASAP this is againts Transport law.

                                      I boarded in a TNSTC ( Gudiyattam depot ( vilupuram zone) ) bus going to Chennai in Gudiyattam.

                                      In normal days the bus fare is around Rs 55 to koyambedu from gudiyattam
                                      further in normal days there is stage in ponamallae,guindy,Koyambedu.

                                      But today they collected Rs 70 to koyambedu further they told that there is no stage for ponamallae,guindy only koyambedu

                                      They told that even though if you get down in ponamallae you have to pay Rs 70. When we asked them they told that the officals in the TNSTC told them to collect fares and indulge in such act

                                      Sir I feel that the fault is with the conductor ( they are acting on there own to show more collection during festival season ) because one person got into bus in ponamallae he got ticket to guindy stage

                                        Hi,

                                        On Friday, dated:[protected] Time(3.40.00PM) journey (from pondicherry to chennai), the bus fare from Pondicherry to chennai (Thiruvanmyur) is only Rs.48/-. But the driver took Rs.55 and arguing that even if we get down at Mahabalipuram, we need to pay Rs.55. I told him that even last week I paid only Rs.48 but he was constantly arguing with me saying if I have to travel I need to pay Rs. 55 else I can get down and catch the bus which takes Rs. 48.

                                        I didnt note the bus number. Bus started at 3.40 pm from Pondcherry bus stand. Usually all buses from Pondicherry to Chennai on Sundays from 3 to 5 pm will be reserved on the spot for Rs.5.

                                        It will be helpful if this complaint reaches the reponsible person.

                                        it will be most helpful if the TNSTC-VPM bus operation made during the night hours from chengalpet to broadway (or) tambaram with all stop service, though the bus fare made twice than the daytime fare. Thanks in advance.
