Is it possible to extend the CHENCOTAH- BANGALORE SERVICE TO PUNALUR? (50km away from SCHENCOTTAH).If it is possible it would become a great solace to the commuters of tamilnadu state. Please look into this matter and do the needful.

Several SETC buses towards ERNAKULAM from TUTICORIN were plying via Thenkasi, Kollm, Alappuzha. Unlikely KSRTC is scheduling their EKM-TUTICORIN VIA Punalur, KONNI, PATHANAMTHITTA, KOTTAYAM, and VAIKOM. Also KSRTC is conducting chain services between Punalur –Kayamkulam in every 10minutes. Very often TNSETC is plying from PUNALUR to KOLLAM in empty. In this regard requesting to reschedule or divert possible Express services towards ERNAKULAM FROM TUTICORIN

This is Prabakaran from tindivanam. We need Direct buses from All major cities/towns from Tamilnadu(Chennai, Villupuram, Pondichery, Thiruvannamalai, Trichy, Salem, Kanchipuram, Vellore, etc....) to Tindivanam. Tindivanam is the one of most important Town in tamilnadu. Its a Main Junction on NH45 and NH66. Daily more than a lakh passengers traveling from/in Tindivanam. But there is No direct Bus routes to all majore cities. On festival days or Week end days bus conductors are not allowing tindivanam Passengers to travel on the buses (which bus going Via-Tindivanam). Per day thousands of Buses crossing Tindivanam. But not allowing Tindivanam passengers. Tindivanam Having TNSTC - Bus depot. But it's not having enough buses to run for tindivanam. In this Depot not have to full fill Local buses also. So many we give complaint to All the Officers Still no one take action. All the daily news paper also Publishing regards this issue.

Enjoy with bedbugs at SETC

There are lot of bedbugs in SETC UD and A/c buses, No maitenance at all.

I was travelling from bangalore to tirunelveli on 21st aug and 24th aug 09 (upward and down ward) .hence there is no train or buses i opted setc bus, it is horrible full of BED BUGS.Compare to setc, other buses are too good friends, please dont choose setc.If They(setc) are unable maintain the bus means why they r charging and runing the buses.Stupid authorities to maintain amenities for passengers.IRRESPONSIBLE AUTHORITIES

In between Salem & Bhavani bus route there is a stage called Muniyapan Kovil. Recently bye-pass road has been laid for this place and most of the buses started going through bye-pass skipping this stage (i.e Muniyappan Kovil bus stop). Initially we complained to the TNSTC office at sankari and RTO has also advised TNSTC to stop at Muniyapan Kovil bus stop. But none of the Moufssil buses ( both TNSTC buses and private buses) are stopping at Muniyapan kovil bus stop, all the buses are going through bye-pass, we are finding very difficult if we need to travel to SALEM, as only Moufssil buses will be going up to SALEM. Please take action as soon as possible. It could be great if we get details about the person whom we need to contact in transport department for this complaint.

dear sir i travelled from sirkali to mayiladuthurai.in mayiladuthurai the bus does not come into bus stand and asked passengers to get down at a place 0.5km away i.e., near st., paul. hr sec school. causing hardships to all. irequest to take action on the conductor

I had taken a private bus from Bangalore to Chennai on 4th August 2009. The private bus was stopped at Thituttani bus stand saying there was a technical problem and the bus won't go further. The driver disappeared from the scene and came back in 5 minutes in a TNSTC bus bound for Chennai CMBT (Bus No TN 21 N 1103). (this is a separate complaint) and asked us to board the bus and said he had paid for the 7 passengers who had to shift from an Airbus to the TNSTC bus.

I had asked for the tickets from the TNSTC bus conductor as this would help me file a complaint against the private operator. The conductor said that the tickets are with the TNSTC driver and we can get the tickets only when we alight at the final point. I had insisted for the tickets twice and he refused. I had asked for the complaint book and they said they don't have one. I feel that the Government is losing revenue because of the collusion between such crooks (private bus operators and greedy government conductors and drivers)

I did some research on this issue and found that there is a collusion between private bus operators who stop their buses at some point and ask them to take the Govt. buses and Govt. bus drivers and conductors who make money by not accounting for such tickets.

i wanted to file a complaint and till date I couldn't find the appropriate authority who will heed to my complaint. Please let me know whom I should i get in touch with

ON 04/08/2009 I WAS TAVELLING FROM KOYAMBEDU TO CHENGALPUT, AT ABOUT 8AM ANOTHERBUS OVER TOOK OUR BUS INTHE WRONG SIDE (LEFT SIDE) AND HAD A SMALL COLLUTION. BOTH DRIVERS WERE CONSULTING FOR ABOUT 15 MINIUTES, AND FINALLY REG NO TN 21 N 1236 ROUTE NO 201 CHENNAI TO TIRUPATHY DRIVER GOT 30/- RS. FROM THE
CHENGALPUT DRIVER. INTHE MEANWHILE ALL PASSENGERS WERE DALAYED BY 20 MINIUTES, THEY ASKED THE CONDUCTOR OF ROUTE NO 201 (TN 21 N 1236 CHENNAI TO TIRUPATHY ) HE IS A SENIOR MAN WEARING BLUE SHIRT AND PANT, BEHAVED VERY BADLY USING VULGAR AND FLITHY WORDS. HE WAS NOT WEARING ANY BATCH, .SO IAM NOT ABLE TO INFORM HIS NAME . WE FEEL VERY SORRY BEHAVIOUR OF THAT STAFF. PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ADVICE HIM ACCORDINGLY. DRIVER SPOKE VERY POLITELY ..EXPECTING UR FEEDBACK. THE CONDUCTOR SHOUTED AND TOLD THE PASSENGERS SHOULD SPEAK NOTHING AND USED FILTHY LANGUAGE. FIRST ASK ALL THE STAFF SHOULD HAVE THEIR NAME PLATE VISIBLE.PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND DO THE NEED.

I am from perambalur Dt and working in chennai.Perambalur is a district but no delux or semi delux buses are there from perambalur to chennai.only one bus starting at 10.30 is there reservation is two days before.

But the drivers and conductors themself reserving some tickets and giving that to known persons.People like us was terribly affected from this and missing buses and going late to chennai.

Please provide more DELUX bus between PERAMBALUR and CHENNAI.It will be more useful.Please please take necessary action and provide DELUX OR SEMIDELUX BUS from SETC AND WE CAN BOOK IT FROM CHENNAI ITSELF.

Take necessary action to this problem.

This is Arunkumar from walajapet .I am working in private concern in chennai sir everyday am going by TNSTC Buses to chennai. just you see in a walajapet morethan 2000 Peoples traveling to chennai everyday

Otherwise in a weekdays of Monday morethan 5000 peoples traveling to chennai usually Bus Nos 102, 102B, 84, 89 its coming to walajapet, other buses of Having walajapet stage but conductor & Drivers

Avoiding the walajapet.and Avoiding bus routes : 303, 528, 202, 123 Main avoiding bus depots Tirupattur, Arcot, Arni.it is one side Conductors are using voulgur words to passengers. don’t come to bus this bus will

go by Byepass only

That day we are asked the question why sir you having walajapet stage suddenly that conductor was replied me you are not officer i will not answer for your question where ever you can go and compliant me


Lot of Buses avoiding the walajapet.please take action for this peoples are so far very disappointed in these cases.

now a days you are displaying "EXPRESS" board in some (ALL) buses and collectting extra fare.
but those buses are half the speed of private buses. some passangers are taking money from home only for ordinary fare. they are really getting trouble. Due to the disel & spare parts rates this type of techniqes (EXP, PP, NON STOP) you are handelling. simply announce the rise of fares to puplic.Don't cheat them for a long term...

I travelled in the bus number TN-29-N-2038 around 11.30pm on 15/06/2009 which is from tirupattur to dharmapuri.The conductor behaved in very rude manner.he spoke very indecently.The incident happened because the conductor switched off all the lights because televison was switched on and some movie was running.I told the conductor to switch on any one of the light or even any small light because ladies feel very uneasy to travel in that bus and it was unsafe.
He refused to do so and told me to get down from the bus on the mid way from tpt to dharmapuri.I really felt very bad on that day night.Hence i kindly request you to take necessay action on that particular conductor.I asked that conductor name, but he refused to give and moreover he didnt wear his batch on that day.

I had the misfortune of travelling by a state transport bus TN 32 N2961 from tiruvannamalai to tambaram (tickect no 53904 for Rs.55). the bus left tiruvannamalai at 1.00pm and just before olakkur stopped at a wayside hotel"aachi mess" for lunch; I donot understand the logic behind the buscrew stopping the bus at a wayside hotel whereas they could have finished the lunch at tvmalai itself; the bus was there for about 35mts in the scorching sun; normally express busses to tvmalai donot ostop at wayside hotels; but nowadays it has become a regular feature; earlier the time taken to reach tambaram to tvmalai was three hours and now a days it is more than three and half hours; and to add insult to injury the prices at the wayside hotels are exorbitant to say the least; one litre mineral water bottle costs 17/- rupee(original cost 12 or 13 rupees) and one bottle of soft drink is Rs.30/-(origisucnal cost 20 rupees). I am giving the prices of items charged at the Achi mess. I donot understand what pleasure or consideration the crew get by stopping the bus at such hotels and subject the passengers to such mindless fleecing.
grateful if the authorities concerned advise the buscrew to not to stop the bus (esp express buses) and subject the passengers to such tortures.

This happened on 16/04/09, when my wife & myself are returning from Munnar after our honeymoon in a TNSTC bus from Munnar to Rajapalayam. we enjoyed our entire trip but when we are about to reach, just 1 hour drive from Bodinayakanur, bus break down due to tyre punture in ghat road. driver & conductor told that they have spare tyre But never had jockey. It was almost like 6.30 pm. children, old people are shriving & stranded for more than 2 hrs. conductor told he can't arrange for another bus from Bodi subdivision, because his bus is from different subdivision. at last after 2 hours halt in ghat road, another TNSTC bus took to Bodi, which was jampacked. TNSTC should take steps to avoid such incident hereafter.

Complaint1 : I am college student.. my native place is Cuddalore and am now doing my B.E in Coimbatore. I will travel to cuddalore in SETC bus service available from cbe to puducherry.

There are two routes to reach cuddalore
1.cbe->salem->virudhachalam->cuddalore->pondy (bus route no:839UD)
2..cbe->salem->panruti->cuddalore->pondy (bus route no:842 and 842UD)

i went to cmbt to get bus for my return to trivallur on[protected]wednesday evening 9.30 pm (21.30 hrs).while entering the cmbt terminus one bus passed across me route -97 (from cmbt to tirutani) i show my hands to stop the bus, but the driver has not stop bus .after that i went to platform no 26, 27 where tirutani and trivallur bus stopping .there i cannot find any bus to my route, simultaneously i move to tirupati bus standing platform, there i find three buses standing on there two ordinary buses route no -201 (chennai to tirupati)and one setc bus.while entering to the bus no :tn- o1- n- 1203 route no-201( from chennai to tirupati) the driver who standing on the front steps of the bus ask me where are you going. i replied iam going to trivallur, suddenly he told me not to enter the bus, your bus is on the other side (he shows tirutani bus platform).and i said there is no bus available for my route so i have to use the bus only sir.then he told to me you must wait on the platform.you will enter bus at the time of bus moving from the stand and you must not be seated .i ask the driver why you are telling like that sir.the driver told me that he must gave preference to the ticket Rs-62 only (chennai to tirupathi)not for ticket Rs-17(chennai to trivallur) its my wish only you cant ask any question on me.wherever you go and gave a complaint.on the same time another one passenger named-srinivasan has came and told me he had faced the same problem.while arguing on that issue the driver suddenly use volgour words (you respect will be spoiled, i just beat you on my shoes, unnecessary he scold my family members also.he use very harsh words also.simultaneously the conductor also come and join with him.while arguing the driver he put his hand on my neck and push down from bus.they just try to beat me by calling another two drivers with him. its very shame thing the very bus terminus in asia the driver treating the passenger like this.i totally upset on the drivers behaviour. while complainting the bahaviour of the driver to the time keeper they also told the same dialogue what driver has said, they simply laughing and taking dinner, he cannot response properly to my complaint.nearly i have wait at platform more than 25 minutes (9.35 pm to 10.00 pm when the bus starts) its very big shame for me where the whole passengers in the bus will saw this. KINDLY NOTE:normally the bus will run in the route via(vadapalani, guindy, porur, poonamalee) but the driver will enter through koyambedu market and came through madravoyal, velapan chavadi route.even he cannot go to poonamalee busstand also.only two passengers me and mr.srinivasan only came from chennai to trivallur.he cannot stop even a single stop on the way also.herewith i gave my ticket no-099982, 099983 only. these you will refer on you ticket machine.it shows the driver will totally unfit for the job, he cannot know how to treat the passengers.the department will held full responsible for those things.herewith i request you take steps against both the driver and the conductor who is on the duty of the bus no give above.i expecting some big punishment must be given to the driver, and it must be a lesson to other drivers treating passengers like these.the behaviour of the driver shows the bus and the department is not a public sector.it shows the bus belongs to single person, even in private buses also they are treating very well .expecting your reply on one week with proof .we are ready to come and join your enquiry you made at any time .we will fully co-operate with you. Subject: TNSTC villupurum transport bus not stopping at busstop.

On Friday, dated:[protected] Time(10.00AM) journey (from pondicherry to chennai), the bus from Pondicherry to chennai of TNSTC villupuram transport Bus No: TN32 -N - 2375, did not stop at the new Ekaduthangal busstop. I argued to the conductor there is a stopping at Ekadduthangal and even the SETC buses are stopping and there would be a time keeper even. The conductor refused to accept and didnt stop at the required stopping. They forced me to get down at the signal before the required stopping. This was even brought before the Time keeper who was standing there, and he was not ready to respond properly.

Why should we plead the conductor to do his duty.
Would welcome if this complaint reaches the rensponsible incharges.
