I have purchased Fortuner in August 2010. It has done 20000 Kms. Mostly on pavour roads the braking system of this vehicle is not working properly. The Infinium Toyota, Ahmedabad dealer has checked the vehicle for 4 times but he was not able to solve the problem, He has reported that brake disc has worn out, I believe in such a short running it is not possible unless there is a grave manufacturing defect. This has to be looked after by you. As at this stage I do not want any tempering with original parts. If they are found defective company should replace them free of cost and pay me the compensation for harrassment. As I am a Retd. Govt. Officer, my sources are limited. The car is not stopping immediately. There are all posibilities of Road accidents. Twice I had faced this problem. Sometime Right Front Wheel makes noise while braking where as sometime it does not make any noise. Overall problem is that the car is not stopping while braking at speed of 100 kms. I have been told by private mechanic that there is something wrong with system. I do not know how far it is true? I request you to arrange for special check up by some well qualified mechanic as I am not satisfied with the performance of the braking system of the vehicle. If problem is not solved I will have to take further steps to protect my right. I am reporting this problem to the dealer since 1st service but none of them there is paying proper attentiom. I had reported the problem to the company but the company is not kind enough to reply me in this matter. Please suggest me suitable remedy.

This is with reference to the Toyota Innova car having registration number DL 4C NE 6719, which was purchased on October 2010 by my company Indicus Netlabs Pvt. Ltd. Unfortunately the stationary car was hit in the rear by a speeding tanker truck 12/09/2009. The passengers, especially a four year old child sitting in the rear on a car seat, escaped unhurt due to the wonderful safety features of the car. The safety aspect was one reason of our purchasing the vehicle.

Subsequently, the vehicle was sent to the Galaxy Service Station at Motinagar, New Delhi for repair purpose and insurance claim on 13/09/2009. The photographs of the damaged vehicle are attached for your reference. I would like to inform you that my experience with the workshop has been very poor and I feel that we have been cheated.

Firstly, the workshop was informed that no welding should be done as it would reduce the safety aspects of the vehicle. I was informed that the workshop as an authorized Toyota service center only replaces the parts and does not do any welding to parts. However, when we got the vehicle we have been informed that welding has been done to certain portions.

We want to get a confirmation from Toyota that does it authorize its workshops to do welding of beams. If so, does this welding compromise the safety aspects of the Innova Car, especially the GOA Body, the high rigidity frame, and the side door impact beams.

Also, if no welding should be done, then why was the welding of the beam done during repair of our car. Why was not the replacement done, and the information shared with the insurance firm so that we could have processed the claim accordingly and if it was beyond repair the same should have been stated to the insurance firm.

Secondly, the workshop informed that it would take between ten to fifteen days for the repair. However, I got my car on the 7/10/2011(almost one month). The repairs delayed for various reasons. Thus for almost a month I have not been able to use the car, while I have been paying the EMI on the loan for the car.

Thirdly, the workshop informed that the car was ready to be delivered, but the delivery will not happen due to delay in processing of the cheque by the insurance firm. However, after five days when we did get the car it was in a poor condition. The spare wheel was missing, certain portion on the sides which were also damaged had not been repaired, the rubber lining on the roof from one side was missing. The car had not been cleaned properly. It clearly shows that a very shoddy job had been done by the workshop and we have been denied adequate compensation due to poor assessment by the workshop.
I believe I have been provided a much inferior and less safe car after I had given it to the Toyota Authorized workshop and I have also been denied adequate compensation from the insurance firm due to the workshop. I request that the car be replaced and I be provided with a more secure and safe car.

Further the delay and the treatment has been impacting my work at office and causing me a lot of inconvenience.
I request you to kindly investigate the matter and resolve this issue ASAP.

as mentioned above i have purchased a Toyota liva diesel on 23rd of October 2011 from anand Toyota solan Himachal Pradesh.
On the first service when i visited the showroom on 31st October 2011 i had complaints regarding the reduction in the air pressure. it was 24 psi when checked by the works manager which was suppose to be 32 psi as mentioned in the chart. as directed by the service engineer at the showroom the rims of the vehicle were leaking out air pressure. all he suggested was he will try for the replacement.
At the time of service at 5000 kms on 4th January 2012 when i complained regarding the noise from the front wheels and the air pressure issues the engineer just conveyed that he has already placed the complaint and i will receive i replacement from the company as soon as the stock is received by the showroom.
at the time of paid alignment on 18th Feb at 7000 kms when i visited the showroom the engineer told me that they will maintain the air pressure and check the rims again at the time of alignment the engineer on the machine also told me that the chamber of the wheel is not perfect and out by 27 degrees negative which is not adjustable also the tyres will be worn out at low mileage, also it was told that the air pressure is to be checked after a weeks time.
when i visited the showroom after a week at 10000 kms the engineer again checked the air pressure and told us that the rims are bend and cannot be replaced and no positive response was being received till date.
what the industry says that Toyota's are pioneer's in their service, quality and customer satisfaction which after this incidence i will never trust this brand again. what cheap kind of service and what cheap kind of products does the company uses. it would have been better if i wouldn't have purchased a Toyota liva. i would have gone in for a Suzuki swift because maruti is best in their services and customer satisfaction at maruti is 100%.
now although after waiting for a month's time i have replaced my rims with alloy wheels but i can never trust a brand like Toyota.
if any one in the near future asks me about the perfomence of the car i will make sure that i do-not recommend your brand to any one.

but neither dealear point nor your organisation have responded with any frutfull answer . We are really annoyed with such co-ordination failure about such a big concern like toyota.

With regret we would like to highlight few issues regarding your one of the dealers here at Durgapur (West Bengal, India).

We have booked one no of Toyota Innova Car from this point, the payment is also clear.Now since 19th September 2012, we are trying to take possession of our car, but your dealer is insisting us to register the car from their side and only then they would release our Car.

At the time of submitting quotation to the bank, the dealer had given us the quotation only for the ex showroom cost of the car and there was no mention of registration charges, which is already submitted at the bank and they have sanctioned the loan amount accordingly.We do not agree for the same as we need choice number which is not feasible at the dealer point. Sir, we have clarified all these points to your dealer, but they seem to pay least attention to it. Previously also we have taken few cars from other dealers too, but all those were our self registration.

Now while everything is clear and the payment is fully paid then, just at the time of CAR delivery why such harassment to us ?? Why do they insist of registration now, which is futile issue ?When do we get OUR CAR? Who would take the responsibility for the same?

Incase this is the rule of your company to deliver the car only ex-registration from your showroom then :

1. Please give the same in writing.
2. Or Cancel the booking and return us the entire money with pennel intererest.
3. Or We would approach the Consumer Forum.

We are visiting your showroom for the last 10 days, but they seem to stick to their point. We are awaiting a quick response from your end. Incase you fail to give us a written confirmation or deliver the car within next tommorrow, then please return us the entire money with interest at the earliest, lest we would be forced to knock the doors of the Consumer Forum.

Paint Peeling Complaint

Sir !

I purchased the above car on 13.09.2013 from your Madurai agent M/s. Anaamalai’s Toyota but I had taken delivery after two months only because of getting delay in fancy number (TN 64 F 786) from RTO. The car is not much used and sofar it has done only 13746 km.

Recently while I cleaned the car, I found some black dots as paint peeling on some parts of the body. Immediately the next day on 15.09.14, the car was sent thro’ my driver to your agent workshop for the remedy but I was not given proper response. Throughout that day my driver roaming from pillar to post to find out the right person for complaint lodging. In the evening my driver was sent with a blank report that the paint peeling is not manufacturing defect without specify the exact reason. When I contacted the customer care, I was told to wait for two more days.

On 16.09.14, the paint peeling was developed in some parts also which was duly informed to your agent’s customer care by mobile as well as by mail. The next day two staff from your agent office came to my house where the car is parking for inspection afterwards no words from your Madurai agent office.

Further, when the car was sent on 15.09.14 in first instance, thro my driver, I was told that somebody scratched the paint with blade. If so, how the peeling complaint developed in some parts in next day ? Anybody’s damaged their own vehicle by doing such acts? Why your Madurai agent responded in such a way.

Please register my complaint and do needful urgently because I am having freusdous metal agony sir.

I had purchased a toyota altis in 2011 from pioneer toyota chandigarh bearing registration no. Ch-01 ah-5558 . The vehicle was runnig fine untill i had a service of the vehicle from radiant toyota, ludhiana on[protected] vide their tax invoice no. Tax[protected]. After taking delivery of the vehicle in the evening, the vehicle had a starting problem, next day also i.E.[protected] the vehicle had a starting problem since i had to go to gurgaon so i had my vehicle checked at mgf toyota gurgaon where a person by the name of manoj attended to my car and he informed me that a pin of ecm has been broken due to the negligence of service people at radiant ludhiana and asked me to take the vehicle back to radiant toyota ludhiana
Finally my ordeal starts now, i took my vehicle to radiant toyota on[protected] where a person by the name of quidinder attented my car and said that the ecm is damaged and it will cost rs. 9000/- to get it repaired from outside but my contention was that since the vehicle starting giving the problem after service so i am not going to bear the expenses and then after i have called the toyota helpline no. [protected] atleast 10 times since[protected] everytime a different person takes my call ( mr.Sanchit, mr.Amar, mr mobin, mr. Ahmad, ) everytime i call up i have to relate whole of the incident and they promise to do the needful but nothing has happened till now.
I was satisfied with the performance of toyota altis that is why i had bought another toyota altis from radiant toyota in 2012 bearing registration no. Pb-10 dd 0060 in the name of m/s nav bharat goods carrier, but the a vehicle is to be judged in terms of after sales service and that is where i am having a bad experience, i hope toyota lives upto its name and reputation and needful will be done

The payment was extracted in advance and but I have to get the commitments. The behaviour and the service part is poor. Even MD Mr. Mohan Singh has not bothered to care for the complaint and even their so called helplines no. are mere eye wash. We feel really cheated.
Quality and integrity is A BIG QUESTION MARK as has been shown and promised.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR CHEATING TACTICS.

It is really extremely unpleasant experience with TOYOTA TAG.
We will move the court with all the papers and recordings.

      problem in clutch and low average

The car in question is suffering from few problems like problem in clutch/gear box as there is sound while putting reverse gear and low average.       I've only 2 years old Toyota Innova. Recently I sent it to Authorized Service Center at Himmat nagar (DIST: Sabarkantha). During the service they have disconnected central locking wire. After servicing, during delivery I found that my central lock is our of order & I asked to check it but they have refused to check the same, saying central lock system is not our responsibility so we've shown the same to service provider & found that central locking system was okay but wiring connected to central locking was disconnected during service. So, the private central lock system agency had done it good, there is some problem in battery charging after the servicing at Toyota Himmat nagar. I've reported the matter of frequent battery discharging but they said that there is a problem is battery. I further requested to check wiring but Toyota Service Himmat nagar refused to check wiring and advised that wiring is okay and only battery is failed then I've replaced the old battery by new one from another agency after 2 hours of battery failed then I've further requested the provided to replace the battery with new one further within 2 hours new battery failed then I contacted Himmat nagar Toyota service & requested to check wiring & they refused to check wiring, giving reason that you've not bought battery from Toyota service himmat nagar so we're not responsible for wiring.
      Toyota Service Himmat nagat is not responsible for battery but responsible for wiring & due to bad wiring during innova service they are also responsible for battery too. Innova service center is asking to deposit 30,000 INR for checking of whole wiring & repairing. Aren't they cheating on day light. So please don't buy any Toyota vehicle & car from Toyota service center & dealer Himmat nagar, DIST: Sabarkantha.

Due to various personal reasons I have cancelled this car as I have found better car and good price and given a request letter dated to Mr. Santosh, Team Leader,M/s Radha Krishna Automobiles P. Ltd. for Refund of the booking amount Rs. 50,000/- but regret till date they have not paid.

          ITS 3rd day of complain . NO responce from TOYOTA

          The Sorry status of having relationship with TOYOTA –thru Etios G – MBJB2ZBT[protected].

          The vehicle is not starting and there are manufacturing defects in the vehicle and TOYOTA service personal are LYING on the problem. From 0840 Hr,29-Aug-2011, the complain is register in almost all available TOYOTA channels. Result is pathetic.
          1st they bully customer by saying that its all your mistake, you don’t care for switching off light so vehicle not starting.- THE BLAME –what to do with it
          2nd they say you don’t know how to upkeep vehicle that Etios has very special design in-built which requires daily start for 5-10 min, if you don’t do that, you will land up in starting trouble very often------ WHAT special design ??? I kept asking –no reply from super TOYOTA techies.
          3rd Some other people checked again and said –The battery is low and it could ONLY be recharged /rectified in workshop. This was high point, I asked the situation of battery replacement/recharge market dynamics, where all manufacturers come and replace battery on spot. I offered to give them cost of battery to get the replacement done at my residence, although it is in warranty, if there is problem of battery ONLY. TOYOTA personals not agreed on the same--- THE reasons unexplained yet.
          4th ,Now the call comes from Ramakrishna( or HareKrishna – don’t know exactly) of Grace Toyota, Now he says there is a problem of trunk switch and same needs to be replaced , so car needs to be called to service center. He told other switches also need to be checked etc etc…
          THIS IS THE BIGGEST CONCERN – WHY THERE WAS FALSE COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMER?????
          I clearly told Mr Ramakrishna that I have lost all faith in TOYOTA and can give the vehicle only after getting a detailed report and request for the happenings done on vehicle by TOYOTA personals as there is fear that in service station, they will do many bad things with vehicle and also if they don’t give me my vehicle back ( as they are have more muscle than an ordinary customer) ,then where I will go …
          I have lost my all money as the vehicle is BAD and useless if not starting, but the way these TOYOTA personal are talking/behaving and blaming, why should I put myself of risk of having physical injury from these guys???
          I offered them to get the vehicle back and give me money in tune of Rs 570~575K to get rid of the TOYOTA. I can bear these losses BUT at least I’ll be safe……I don’t know what is in their mind --- WHETHER THEY WANT TO TAKE MY VEHICLE FORCEFULLY ……There is severe concern of having a TOYOTA vehicle.
          They have not come back with a letter or any proposal till now………..
          Another issue, where they have given me either wrong number plate or wrong bill, not even clarified by them on writing. In any case, it is illegal and I doubt, these TOYOTA personal are really doing something mischievous with customer. They want to do everything on hay-way basis with no written communication to it ( I insist on written communication as that will be only proof against any misconduct done by TOYOTA to me).
          Not giving the bill at the time of payment is minor issue against the above but in fact it is too a MAJOR concern. If customer is paying, he has all-right to get the bill for the equipment he has purchase, But I don’t know what is TOYOTA WAY to work on ????
          Delivery of new vehicle with dust and spots on exterior body of vehicle is something ,,I guess needless to mention… a due cleaning of vehicle if expected by customer is something a distant dream --- they refute it by saying that vehicle was standing under tree so it got spots ,what is an issue they said---get the cleaning done?????? IS IT A WAY ????? I don’t know….
          What I know, till the time you have not paid money to TOYOTA ,its all OK Once they take the money they world change for TOYOTA and buyer become THE MOST UNWANTED thing to them… no single personal is there to listen…all are there to blame you and make u fear from TOYOTA..
          The vehicle is not started yet…………….and No one from TOYOTA has having concern for the same too…..
          I do firmly believe, Its not the dealership, but the TOYOTA that made my life worst as much as possible…… NOW I WANT A CLEAR YES /NO from TOYOTA --- SHOULD I FORGET HAVING A TOYOTA VEHICLE AND SEND IT FOR THRASH AND BEAR THE LOSSES OF NEARLY INR6 LAC + ?????? NEED CONCRETE ANSWER IN NEXT 18Hr from TOYOTA ONLY……

            I am senior executive handling India operations for a software organization. Time is valuable for me, but it looks very cheap for RADHA KRISHNA Toyota service Staff. They have hardly any regard for the customer's time...Good example is my latest experience with them...

            I have been a very loyal customer to RADHA KRISHNA TOYOTA, Hyderabad. after an accident, i submitted my vehicle at the service on Thursday last week (25th August) . They had asked for time as the insurance surveyor (HDFC ERGO) was supposed to estimate the damage. I was told by Mr. Prashant, Service advisor at Sanatnagar Radha Krishna toyota service centre that the surveryor is not turning up in time and that he doesnot have his contact number. After pursuation, i got the surveyor number yesterday from him. When i talked to surveyor, he said, the service centre have not come back to him after he asked them to dismantle the damaged portion of the vehicle. Prashant mentioned that he got it dismantled yesterday morning and when i spoke with Surveyor again, he said that the service guys did not dismantle and he inspected vehicle instead of mine and returned yesterday. He received call today from service centre that it has been dismantled today and asked him to visit. It took almost 5 days for the service centre to open up the damaged portion. On top of it, Mr.Prashant claims, he needs another 6 to 7 days to get the vehicle repaired....

            If the service centre cannot service the vehicles quick enough, why do you even take the vehicles for repair. This is not the first time i am experiencing negligence from the staff. I have run out of patience and i am gonna report this all over..

            My strong recommendation to the folks, You may like INNOVA or TOyota vehicles, but donot buy at RADHA KRISHNA Toyota showroom atleast...

              I really feel SORRY to get associated with TOYOTA . In just 15 days , The product "Etios G" failed to get started. On call , they tried to bullyed me rather than offering help /service. If this is TOYOTA WAY, They must not focus on Indian market.
              2nd Issue: Either number plate is wrong or Bill is wrong as different temp regn numbers are appearing. On query ,they say don't accept that there is a mistake. When I firmed that the difference is number is clearly visible, they take it casually and say may be ,they get it checked, The apathy is such that they try to ignore the things which is clearly visible to customer.
              At this point, I feel SORRY for selecting TOYOTA for my 3rd Car.
              I will keep posting the issues. BUT I don't know how to send these issue to TOYOTA headquartes as these dealers play foul and never allow to get the same escaleted to right authority.

              Toyota ETIOS has been designed on a new platform and the designing of the vehicle is not appropriate. The basic designing of any car has the following parameters for the design engineers-
              1) Use the best quality material available in the market.
              2) Use the best technology.
              3) Take care of Comfort, Safety, Luxury, performance, looks, design.
              4) Above all meet the basic criteria for usability of the car.
              Make car affordable-keep the price economical without compromising on the above parameters.
              In any of the conditions
              Quality - Good and Price -High = Engineering Design Fails.
              Quality -Poor and Price-High= Engineering Design Fails
              Quality -Poor and Price –Low= Engineering Design Fails
              Quality-Good and Price-Low= Engineering Design PASSES.

              Designing a car with 4 wheels and 1 spare wheel, steering, seats, dashboard, bonnet, boot etc can only make a car not a Good car. In Toyota ETIOS I do not find a single feature or quality where I can say that it is “TOYOTA” product.
              But in my Toyota ETIOS, I do not have any of the following design parameters. I have spent my hard earned in buying the Toyota ETIOS because of the faith that I had in their Quality and Customer support. But I am not even let down in both the fields but I feel cheated that Toyota is inconsiderate to my problems.

              It appears that Toyota is interested only in making the ETIOS and selling it to me and not caring for its customer and problems. “Toyota” thinks that they have produced a car and it has to be the best. This reflects the over confidence of Toyota in their products. This can be there because Toyota has produced some vehicles running successfully around the globe. I also appreciate Innova, Qualis, Camry, Corolla etc which are built as per International standards and are running successfully all across the globe.

              But in Indian context ETIOS is a disaster and the vibrations and noise in the ETIOS make it feel like passenger is sitting inside the tractor. Weather gaskets missing from all 4 doors. Noise from engine and road inside the cabin. Low fuel economy, stepney is not alloy wheel, single remote unit, single wiper which does not cover the wind-shied adequately. Singe reverse parking bulb makes it difficult at night. Reverse gear produces noise. Brakes take delay time to completely apply. Etc.
              ETIOS unhappy customer must be refunded his hard earned money by TOYOTA.

              I have lost trust on the Quality of Toyota. I don’t want to pay for the incapable and poor design by Toyota.

                    im siddarth sharma from mangalore. i had purchased the new Toyota Etios which was booked last year OCT-NOV and got it delivered by April this year. after a considerable drive and months of driving we are gettin a very poor milaege which is not at all near to the milaege specified by the company i.e., 17.4km/ltr. we are currently getting only 8KM/ltr. after complaints and checks and tests by the company people we are not properly satisfied by the test they took and hence demand for a proper and a better way of testing and solving our issues.

                    Quality-Good and Price-Low= Engineering Design PASSES.

                    Designing a car with 4 wheels and 1 spare wheel, steering, seats, dashboard, bonnet, boot etc can only make a car not a Good car. In Toyota ETIOS I do not find a single feature or quality where I can say that it is “TOYOTA” product.
                    But in my Toyota ETIOS, I do not have any of the following design parameters. I have spent my hard earned in buying the Toyota ETIOS because of the faith that I had in their Quality and Customer support. But I am not even let down in both the fields but I feel cheated that Toyota is inconsiderate to my problems.

                    It appears that Toyota is interested only in making the ETIOS and selling it to me and not caring for its customer and problems. “Toyota” thinks that they have produced a car and it has to be the best. This reflects the over confidence of Toyota in their products. This can be there because Toyota has produced some vehicles running successfully around the globe. I also appreciate Innova, Qualis, Camry, Corolla etc which are built as per International standards and are running successfully all across the globe.

                    But in Indian context ETIOS is a disaster and the vibrations and noise in the ETIOS make it feel like passenger is sitting inside the tractor. Weather gaskets missing from all 4 doors. Noise from engine and road inside the cabin. Low fuel economy, stepney is not alloy wheel, single remote unit, single wiper which does not cover the wind-shied adequately. Singe reverse parking bulb makes it difficult at night. Reverse gear produces noise. Brakes take delay time to completely apply. Etc.
                    ETIOS unhappy customer must be refunded his hard earned money by TOYOTA.

                    I have lost trust on the Quality of Toyota. I don’t want to pay for the incapable and poor design by Toyota.

                    I am also getting under 10 kmpl from my Etios G that has been run only 3000 km because the car makes so much noise.

                          Hi,

                          I am John Paul K. I own a Toyota Innova. I observed that it emitted black smoke and the emission light started glowing on the panel.
                          1. I took it to the service center "Toyota Service Center, Nettoor."
                          2. They took 1000 Rs from me and told me that everything is fine. Later I saw that the light is still glowing and black smoke still coming.
                          3. I called them , they told me they need time to fix it. I said ok.
                          4. I had filled half tank diesel. They had drained off that also. When I asked them on that they denied.
                          5. Later engine would'nt start on the way. I called them they took the vehicle and charged me 300 Rs for it. I told them about the problem.
                          6. They said they need time. I said fine you keep the vehicle. They kept the vehicle for 4 days and they said they replaced the diesel filter and charged me 4000Rs and said problem is solved.
                          7. When I verified they hadnt done anything. Black smoke is still coming and the emission light is still glowing.
                          8. I asked them. they again said they need time. I took the vehicle back to them.
                          9. Today they called me and told that they need to open the engine and they need 40000Rs for that.
                          10. I asked them will everything be fine after that. They said they have no garentee on that.

                          Now i am helpless. I brought my vehicle back.
                          These people think that money is grown on trees. They have great computer systems and they do nothing.
                          They are cheating on us. Fooling us around. I can provide you with all the proof's and service details.
                          The vehicle has run only 80000 km.

                            This is to bring to your notice the inconvenience and harassment caused to us by your dealer Millennium Toyota ( Vile Parle, West, Mumbai).We had booked Innvoa 2.5 GX 8 Seater Silver colour on 04/7/2011.at booking time i paid 50000 advance amt.at that time the person who can book my car told me that you will get your car after 5 weeks. on 1st august morning he will call me and said your allotment of Innvoa is in this month and you will pay full amount before allotment this is our policy and i will give you date of receving of your car on 5th august.then i transfar full payment on 2nd august.when i call on 5th morning their person sundllely told me that you submit your address proff and other document beacuse your approvel is not come from TKM. i m socked suddenly after geting payment delar not pick up my call also. i register compalin their banglore office also but last 5 days they also not reslove my matter. My point is they have no rights to use our money how they can colletct money from customer they will make us full. Now all these things have caused a lot of inconvenience and tremendous harassment. So kindly look into the matter and give us a suitable compensation failing which we shall approach the Consumer Court to get justice.

                                This is to bring to your notice the inconvenience and harassment caused to us by your dealer Millennium Toyota ( Vile Parle, West, Mumbai).We had booked ETIOS GSP (Harmony Biege) on 25/6/2011.After having booked the car the person in charge there told us to make full payment so that they can block a beige colour car for us and get a speedy delivery i.e. within one week from the date of full payment. Keeping in mind the TOYOTA’s reputation of Customer satisfaction first, we put full faith in the dealer and we made full payment on 2nd July 2011. However till date the car has not been delivered. After repeated inquiry by us we were told that car shall be delivered to us on 29th or 30th of July. We had no option but to wait and wait. Then on 27th July we get a call saying that a Biege colour Etios is not available we have inquired with the Banglore factory. They only gave us long explanations and stupid excuses. Then they asked us to either change the colour or the variant to have car delivered on 30th. We were not ready for either options. A customer after spending so much amount will not and cannot accept a lesser choice.In fact it was only when there were heated arguments in the showroom in presence of other prospective customers, did he agree to deliver the car of my choice. Also our old car TATA Marina was taken by them on 26th of June saying that we shall get our ETIOS within a weeks time. Now all these things have caused a lot of inconvenience and tremendous harassment. So kindly look into the matter and give us a suitable compensation failing which we shall approach the Consumer Court to get justice.

                                Since you have booked your choicest car with your hard earned money and great passion. I can only request you to show more patience. Since you have ordered a color which is not liked by majority of the customers and Toyota may be producing fewer quantities of the color required by you. This can not be attributed as the fault of the dealer because dealer is only the agent in between the customer and the manufacturer, who sells the vehicle for some commission.

                                Where as sometimes these dealers delay the sale of vehicle on receipt of the advance or full payment to create the false impression on the customer. This hype or the unrealistic delay in supplies is used to demonstrate that the manufacturer is full of orders and our new vehicle is in great demand than the supplies. This is to create superficial que of orders.Whereas I am sure if you will visit the warehouse of the dealer which may be in outskirts of the city, you will be surprised that a dealer normally holds 200-400 vehicles at any point of time.

                                This superficial delay in supplies created after receiving the partial or full payment is also a guarantee for the dealer that you will not change your decision of buying some other brand vehicle.It also ensures to the dealer that the customer will not demand any free accessories or discounts in the pricing of the vehicle.

                                In your case all the below mentioned points clearly show that you are vulnerable to above mentioned points.
                                1) Advance Payment for booking 25/06/2011
                                2) Taking your TATA marina by the Toyota dealer 26/06/2011
                                3) Full payment made on 02/07/2011

                                Now when you have given full amount of new car and the old car is also withe same dealer this is very good for manufacture and the dealer as you will only ask for new car and no discounts. You can be made happy only with the delivery of the vehicle. All your negotiating expectations are subdued.

                                Final advice, please wait for your delivery and later enjoy the ride.

                                i have recently bought TOYOTA ETIOS LIVA DIESEL 2 weeks ago and when i checked the car at my place i found that the body line of the car was not in proper shape, ( fender, door and railing below doors were not aligned properly) there is a manufacturing default in the car and then i went to your dealer in dwarka from where i bought the car, they started giving me vague answers that we dont know any thing about this its a technical issue, may be workshop people can help you in this. As the dealer agreed himself that there is a defect in the car but still he was just making excuses and throwing the ball in the others court and now i have to deal with your workshop people.

                                i havnt driven even 100 kms and you can even check that there is no fault at my end.

                                  Toyota Etios common Problems faced by owner.
                                  I would once again like to mention my problems as follows-

                                  1) Engine Vibration at Idle/ Neutral position.
                                  When the vehicle ignition is switched “ON” the vehicle shakes heavily and produces noise.

                                  Hello,

                                  I have purchased a toyota Etios car this april and i am not satisfied at all with the breaking system and i am getting this problem from very first week of purchase of car. Whenever i press the break pedal of the car the sound of something hitting with the tyres comes with a big noise. it comes everytime whenever i perss the breaks which is very annoying and not expected from a new car.
                                  I also went to the service center in jahangirpuri where they took 4 hours to check my car and they also not able to find out the problem of this. I am very disappointed with the brand toyota. This is not expected at all.
                                  Also, the paint on body is so thin and delicate that it is very easily taken out just like that. I am facing the problem with htis also as i was given the satisfaction for the body paint after doing 3M coating on it.

                                  The average promised by toyota for Etios is only a dream for buyer which didnt come even closer to what was promised.

                                    i recived mail from toyota company for winner prize of 500000 GBP AND car
                                    they told our diplmat henry bob call you when recived in delhi
                                    bob [froud] contact me and told me your parcel recivied from uk
                                    and money ,i going in rbi for convert in INR
                                    please deposited money in sbi bank and ICICI so i deposited one by one upto 1100000INR after complted all work i am coming pune[all process i had complted]
                                    but after 29th 2011 his phone switch off no replay
                                    this type company take action and give me my money back
