From the day i bought the scooter i am facing the "engine off while riding" problem regularly. Every time they say they fixed it but it still persist. The service is very very poor and they lie every time. Being a girl i have little idea about engine problems. Please help me. The dealer is far away from my home and it is a pain going there and waiting the day long and they don't fix the problem, just lie that it is fixed. I was about to meet with an accident because of this problem. Waiting for you help.

    reallly...never think of tvs..
    i have got this tvs wego after seeing many reviews and promise made by show room person... but i had so many disappointment about this bull-sheet wego...the very first problem is battery and service this vehicle.. i have changed two battery within a year.. and every time when you left service foe this vehicle they simply made water wash only..no brake drum cleaning, cable adjustment not done...one more very very important draw back about this scooter is driving dynamics...i promise you that u cant drive this stupid scooter more than 50kmph.. very very poor braking and control...another important issue is suspension... very very bumpy on normal indian road...s please donot choose this scooter even i[censored] get it for free..

      Dear TVS,

      I have purchased TVS APACHE RTR 180(MD634KE68C2D26241/OE6DC2152800) from HEM TVS, Satara on 25th May, 2012. I went to many other company showrooms and then decided on purchasing TVS APACHE RTR 180 based on the presales service I got at the showroom. This is because I did not see the same service from other motor company showrooms. Specially Mr. Mhaske at the showroom gave me all the details about the bike and even offered me a test ride without even I requesting one, which made the difference and affected my purchase decision.

      I was a happy owner of APACHE RTR 180 for last one month, but seems like my honeymoon with my bike was only for one month. It changed into a Nighmare when I went to get the first free service today morning. I was there at the right time that is 15 Min before 9:30 as they don't take the bike for servicing after 11:00 A.M and on Sundays. What I found out that there was no one at the service reception counter for almost half an hour. After half an hour some one came to the reception and starting filling out the Job Cards and taking notes of the issue faced by various customers including myself. When my turn came, I told him that this is my first service and I am facing the below mentioned issues and everything else is fine,

      1.) The kick start lever was very hard to use rendering it useless.
      2.) The left side Mirror was not remaining in it`s place and use to rotate for no reason.
      3.) When we start the bike in first gear the clutch was to released completely so that it engages.
      4.) Also suffered few fake neutrals between 4-5 gear.
      5.) I also requested to adjust the handle bar so that it is some what towards the rider if possible
      6.) I also requested for the rear Mudguard fender which I thought was an optional accessory, but it seems to be otherwise.

      I was told to come at 1:30 P.M for getting the delivery of the bike. I cam at around 2:00 P.M and requested for the delivery of the bike as well as asked the guy there about the rear fender the nice guy at the service station told me that I should have received one at the time of delivery, which I didn't. The guy then arranged for the fender and gave it to me. I then requested him is it possible to attach the fender, this was when the nightmare started. He replied very rudely that he will not do it as there are other bikes to be services. I said ok i no problem, I will try to do it myself or bring it tomorrow or during the next service and get it attached.

      This done I then requested for delivery of the bike and paid the Rs. 375 /- bill(oil+oil filter) and took the delivery challan. I then went to the security to get my keys. He gave me some keys which I instantly recognized as not being mine. I told him the same, but i got the response that as the key has got some token number 36 attached it is my key. I then very politely told the security guy that this is not my key and it seems to be misplaced and let me check. I went through the box and found out the correct key.

      I thought it is fine and this may happen some times so not a very big issue. I then went to my bike and tried to start the bike, I tried both the starters (Kick as well as self start) but it didn't start. I then told this to the nearby mechanic and told him to look at it. That guy then starting fiddling with the bike pulling the choke and trying to start the bike. He then very harshly pulled the spark plug and blowed some air by his mouth into it. I was shocked to find out that there seemed to some water on the spark plug which is not expected. He then put the spark plug into it`s place and tried to start the bike once again. The bike was starting and stopping for which he then pulled the throttle at the extremity, which I don't suppose is right for a new bike.

      The bike then somehow started. Seeing all this ill treatment to the bike I just wanted to leave the service center, which I did as soon as possible. Just to check if everything is fine I then rode my bike for a while and it seem to be fine. I came home and thought that may god help me and the bike is fine.

      In the evening I once again took the bike for a ride and what i came to know is that there is some kirr. kirr sound from the rear part of my bike. Now I don't know what to do as the bike was almost fine till the first service. I am very afraid to go back to the service center and increase the ordeals I am already facing.

      The after sales service of HEM TVS is very disappointing. Additionally now by bikes`s front is wobbling like hell at the speed range of 50-70 KM/s. Now I fell like robbed and dont know what to do next.

        I have purchased a TVS Wego on feb 8 212 From Mumbai TVS Yash at Marol Andheri (East)The day i bought the bike thought its best in the market but i was wrong. Initially the Dealer told me that you will get an average of 50-55/Km But until 2nd service i used to get an average not more than 25Km/litre and i use to run the bike on highway after each service the dealer used to ensure the average would get increased gradually but it never happened...

Road, Khanna Mandi gobindgarh Punjab.now spare parts are not available.my bike LED is broken now i need L-KEy bolt & LED of back light of my bike which is not available in your chandigarh,mohali,khanna stores,this is realy strange.if you will not able to sought i willbe raising this concern to consumer forum.I have chased some where aroung 5 Different-2 spare parts store TVS but not available.(I will suggest every body think 10 time before purchasing TVS two wheelers) regards jatinder kumar .[protected]@yahoo.co.in

          TVS WEGO Complaint - Battery, Starting and Engine problems

          We had purchased TVS WEGO from SPEED MOTORS CO.LTD. on 17 July, 2011 with Chassis number MD626AG48B1E60490 with engine number OG4EB1164249 with Registration number UP 32DV 1126 . Since purchasing the vehicle we have been experiencing battery problems and electric start problems. Also problems with Starting ,Speedometer reading, fuel gauge and engine noise of the vehicle has been quite high. Since first free service itself these problems have been surfacing. Presently 3 free services has been completed but still all the above problems have not been clarified.
          But the dealership at Sathya Motors has not been able to bring the vehicle to correct running condition. The reason given by them is non-availability of parts. And they have asked us to approach the company by mail for replacement of the vehicle. Or we have the only option of going for a legal remedy.
          So we request the concerned authorities to provide us support in this regard and provide appropriate replacement of the said vehicle. Please do the needful.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            Reference to above subject mentioned, i would like to inform you that , by MISTAKE my wife purchased A TVS-Wego from M/s. Tayal-TVS,Neelam Bata Road, Near Hotel Delite, Faridabad (Haryana)121001

            From the very first day after taking the delivery from the showroom, it is my unfortunate, that the purchased scooty, found the Silencer of the Scooty, was damaged and we get it repair after marathon attempts ( 5-6 continuous visit to show room).

            Later on at the time of First Service, found 2-3 dents at scooty's mudguard and asked them for the same, initially they were agreed for replace the mudguard but later on they stated for repair of the same, we agreed for the same. now after this episode after taking the delivery found some scratches on the body and fitment was not correct, because of poor fitment scooty was unbalanced and brake of the same were also very loose, for that issue , today ( 24/06/2012) re-visited the showroom and asked for these problems , the manager of the showroom has abused me physically & mentally and tried to hit me on my face.

            Now this has over the limit , would like to request you kindly do arrange to take necessary & legal action and update me accordingly and also kindly do get the replacement of scooty ASAP.

              After third servicing of my bike its smooth condition was totally screwed and rear disc of my bike was starting making noise. Even after i took the bike to the service centre twice the noise problem was couldn't rectified by the service centre which is very upsetting.

                  I am Balamurugan S serving in Army at Varanasi. I had booked my two wheeler No TN 39 BB 858 from Varanasi to Tiruppur due to my transfer in Train No 16360 Rajender Nagar to Ernakulam Exp on 15 May 2012 vide Indian Railways Parcel Receipt No P 03J 825115 dated 15 May 2012. After 12 days my two wheeler has not yet reached in destination. I have regularly contact with parcel office, some chaps said two wheeler was not unloaded at Tiruppur, likely to reach at Ernakulam. Request to trace my vehicle and do needful at the earliest

                    I have bought new tvs wego in january2012, till first service it worked fine with good average, the day it is being serviced for two times, it is being noticed that the vehicle stops in between while it is running at speed. It starts after some time ,wondering what has gone wrong...Second time it got off when the vehicle noticed some bumped in the road. I saw similar complaints on the post. I complaint the same on TVS site and within minutes i got call from siddhivinayak motor stating the curiosity and asking the vehicle for check up. I think TVS should give serious think on the issue.

                      This problem was happened totally due to improper service from thee dealer. Now I can't able to pay thee money to change thee motor . By warrenty period and thee name of your company confident only we are buying vehicle. But instead of theat I am getting worst service and irresponsible answer from thee dealer.                       iam karthick from coimbatore i gave my victor gx no. TN49M8875, for service due to some noise from engine and oil leakage to LOTUS TVS IN COIMBATORE they charged me rs.8600 i have paid the full amt and got my bike after one week but still there was a leakage of oil in my bike and a huge noise from my rear wheel and i visited LOTUS TVS again with those compliants but there was no proper response for me they got my bike for 4 days and i got it back but still my compliant was not solved. they just washed my bike and gave me back without considering those problems i believe that after reading this compliant u will take proper action on them

                        Hi,
                        1.I Have poor mileage issue since I have changed fuel injector in my bike.Its gives around 20-25kpl.
                        2. Gear Shifting is very hard.
                        3. Engine gets off automaticaly in running condition.
                        4. Engine vibrates more and produce some tapet sound even in low RPM.


                        Pls do the needful and suggest where I can find complete solution,actually I am not satisfy with bike performance and service provided at Rohtak.

                          I Purchased TVS Apache RTR 180 with ABS last ten months back at Sri Sai TVS - Lingampally , Medak district. Iam facing some problems from last two months, my bike rear wheel disk break was blowing big sound, iam informed and show the bike at show room,they are told with me this is Manufacturer defualt so we change it. iam visit show room many times they told that Next week, Next week......when i was visit show room Next week, Next week..........But no use.

                          TVS APACHE RTR 180 ABS — ENGINE PROBLEM

                          I am Jasim from kollam,I purchased Apache RTR 180 ABS.I have a lot of problem on my bike like head sound, vibrating,sound in back disc break etc Omraj TVS kollam workshop mechanic can't solve my problem .my contact no. is [protected].
                          Did you try calling TVS directly to complaint about the service center?

                          If no then do it. If TVS too cannot answer your query, then file a case against both the service center as well as TVS.

                          I hope you already have all the documents like a written & stamped receipt that Sri Sai TVS received your bike on this date with this problem and estimates time of delivery etc. These people are very smart. To show that they are not at fault, they postpone the date of bike submission in their records, so that even if TVS asks a question, then they say 'Sir abhi to bike aayi thi... aur itni jaldi isne complaint daal di... blah blah!'

                          We trust them so much, and they can play with u like hell.

                          When I went to book a car recently at Auto Vikas Chevrolet, Dwarka, Delhi; they cheated and got my signature on a non-cancellation form which says I cant cancel my booking. Booking amount was Rs 25K. Now you tell me, who will be such a fool to sign this form. I dont remember exactly, but I think when I inquired "what is this form" He casually said that it will help u cancel the booking.

                          I have got 20K of it back after much delay though. But ever since, I never trust anyone when signing on any document before I've read it completely and all the details are filled by me and insist on written receipts every time.
                          My vehicle APACHY RTR ABS 180 (TN 22 CB 6194), Left today for Monthly service @ M/s RamKey TVS Velachery Service Station.

                          M/s RamKey Service center Suggested / advised to replace Front and Rear Disk Pads and wheel bearing on against payment, Reason for having the problem with the rear disk, and front Disk and wheel bearing. The scratching sound is also coming and also facing pickup problem.

                          Reason: Due to Quality related issue / Manufacturing defects of Break Disk PADS

                          I bought 1 year and 3 months back and moreover I am a single person using this vehicle. Used only 9500 Kms.

                          How QC assessment /Test reports on Disk PADS Quality. Any advice from your technical persons? Any compulsion to replace every 9500 Kms. (Like Changing Engine Oil /sprocket chain assembly) There is no indication on user Hand Book about the Life Disc Brakes Life

                            Hi I bought TVS Apache RTR160 on 01/07/2010, from ANJANADRI TVS Kanakapura sub dealer of Bharath TVS Bangalore, I was giving for service regularly but I faced problem in engine gear box that called center Bering not working properly I dint run not even 22000 KM. Regarding this issue I have reported to TVS Customer Care center but no response from them this is worst service they are giving. Finally I spend Rs.5000/- from my pocket to solve the problem. My sincere advice to them if they are not ready to solve the customer problem better pull your shutter, and start some other business which cant harm to the customer.

                              bike has given me lot of dissatisfication due to so many problems in the bike.

                              we believe on TVS products and their group. So i need an immediate resolution for this issue.

                              i have owned the tvs apache rtr bike in the year 2013, the perrformance of the bike seems to be little good but the engine is, , when i travelled to a short distance for 10 km, my bike engine is getting very heat, , please suugest me, what i have to do, , to solve this
                              issue in my rtr 160

                              2500 rupi cheating

                              I have taken tvs sport byke by lfinance but . the finance d amount 35900 and the down payment is 20190 but the dealer taken 22500 as down payment . how can he take 2500 extra

                                This is Murli from Noida.
                                I had my worst experiance with TVS service service at Noida.

                                I had problem with my Engine so i decided to had work on it.

                                After a long thought i deceided to do it on TVS showroom at Noida "Aditi Automobiles, c-2, sector-10, Noida".

                                When i reached at the shoroom on (14/04/2012) and show my consern regarding the problem i am having with my engine and told them to complet engine work, the persone told me that i can get my bike by the evening which was duly conformed by the owner of the showroom and i was told to come in evening to colect the bike. They take 5000 rs from me in advance, stating that they required advance payment for doing the job.

                                I got a call in the evening that the bike will not be able to collect in the evening as they don't have some parts available at the showroom and will be available on Wednesday (18/04/2012).

                                Wtihout knowing the inventory they operated my bike and then told me that the bike will not be available till Wednesday.

                                Then on Wednesday when i called them to know the status of my bike they again told me that they still don't have the parts available at the showroom and again told that the bike will be available on 19th.

                                So i am still waiting for the day to come when i will get my bike back.

                                I would recommand every TVS users that do not go the Aditi Automobils, c-2, Sector-10, Noida.
                                They are not aware about their inventory available at the showroom and missguide the customers.

                                  Have purchased TVS Wego in May'2011. The scooter was running well initially & then since December'2011 there is a starting problem being faced in the vehicle. The service advisor suggested us to take it to the Battery Vendor , we took it there he cleaned the battery & then it ran fine for about 3 months & now again there is a starting problem wherein it was taken to the battery vendor again, they took it with them kept it for about 4 days & returned it back it ran for a day & from the very next day onwards the scooter refused to start with the self start button, we always had to start it with a kick which is not acceptable at all for a female like me. I always had to be dependent on someone to start a scooter for me & then take it to work & in case if it stops in between them i m just helpless so started travelling by auto.
                                  A scooter which is not even a year old, is not expected to function in this manner. This is really bad. Kindly let me know what shall be done with my scooter now as I m really stuck now & have to shell out the auto fare daily to travel to office.

                                  I purchased a TVS WEGO scooter about 3 months back through dealer Harbhole Automobiles. Since the day of purchase there is some or the other MFG defect. Almost every week I am reporting some complaint to them and am now disappointed with the quality of product they have sold. The very first day there were few paint scratches which they said its normal and will be touched up and till today its not done. From the day of purchase every 25 KM the vehicle suddenly used to stop and need to kick 10 to 15 times to start it again. I skid and met with couple of accident due to this while turning. The silencer was replaced twice within first 2 months. And now due to scratchs formed initially the paint is peeling off and rusting everywhere and looking at its trend am sure there will be lot more issues in store in the future. I want that scooter to be replaced or better my money back..
                                  Register a complaint in the TVS shop were you purchase the vehicle or even you can elevate the issue to the company

                                  Ever since I bought a wego on Sep 2010, I am having problem with the battery and subsequently starting trouble and while running when the acceleration is released, engine stops. As per the dealer, vehicle came with a defective battery and till today, after 6 services, the defective battery is not replaced. Yesterday I had a miraculous escape in rush hour as the wego engine stopped near a hump and the car behind me was about to run over me. Trijal TVS, Bangalore is considerate enough to charge the battery every time I complaint to them, but that is not sufficient. Better to avoid this and go with time tested Activa

                                  i purchase TVS wego 8 months back from local tvs dealer, after six month i am getting problem in electric start , also chock in not working
                                  always i have to kick start,
                                  also scooter stops inbetween many time while running
                                  i am totally upset about the service i am getting
                                  i dont know what to do what not to do
                                  please help me out in this matter.

                                  I purchased Wego two years back.troubles since then.-
                                  1]not starting easily either self or kick.
                                  2]average just 5 kms/1 lit.
                                  3]starter broken.
                                  Local dealer has been contacted many times without any appreciable result
                                  What to do now--buy back and give me another bike.

                                    it is with extreme disappointment, anguish and frustration that i am penning down this complaint. Just with the hope that things at cochin tvs motors would improve in due course of time. (my personal feeling though that this is highly unlikely). I have been having prolonged anguishing interactions with the staff at cochin tvs motors sales cum service centre. in fact, this is not my first mail complaining about the sorry state of affairs at thisoutlet. no action seems to be have taken on my earlier complaint as well!!!
                                    1. sales - i had the extreme misfortune of buying a tvs wego from this outlet in december. i had carried out extensive survey prior finalising on the product. how i wish i had done some survey on the outlet as well! The staff at the sales division is poorly trained (if at all any training is carried out at tvs, which i very much doubt now!) to handle customers. Besides the lack of language skills other than at malayalam, which is surprising since cochin is supposed to be cosmopolitan, the staff give an impression of extreme disinterest in selling any product. in fact, i even visited the mahindra outlet opposite this one and was impressed with the sales pitch there. how i wish i had bought their product! post sale relationship just worsens. i had to face a lot of hassles during the delivery with regards to registration and the delivery of the vehicle itself.
                                    2. servicing - this is the third vehicle i own, besides a motorbike from bajaj and a car from honda. and i have never witnessed such high levels of indifference at any other service station. no one seems to care for the customer. i cant imagine any other outlet treating its customers in this manner. coming to the specifics, i had given my wego for servicing on 13th apr, at 1020 hrs for servicing and was told that the delivery would be made at 5:30 pm the same day. at the appointed time i was shocked to find that the staff of two ladies at the counter was busy winding up for the day and gave no response what so ever to my queries regarding my bike. they just handed out a bill. when i enquired about the breakdown of the charges, no one could come up with any answer. moreover no one could communicate with me either in hindi ( which happens to be our national language) or english. finally i lost hope and decided to pay up the amount. when i flashed my credit card i was told that they don't accept cards! i was not surprised anymore going by the prehistoric mindset being displayed by the staff. when i proceeded to withdraw cash from the nearest atm, the staff had locked up the office and retired for the day!!! i was shocked to find all the shutters down!! this despite the staff being aware that i was withdrawing cash to pay for the servicing!!! and the next two days were declared holidays and i had no chance of getting my vehicle!!! finally, equally unruly behaviour by me with the last one on the staff who was about to leave ensured i got my vehicle yesterday!!! hats off to this organisation!!!
