Hi,

I had purchased TVS Wego in the month of May 2011. First one year everything was good but since last 3-4 months bikes performance is gone down drastically.
1) Engine oil leakage started and couple of rounds to authorized service station also not helped issue still persists
2) Mileage never crossed 40 KMPH since purchase
3) Service quality is pathetic and not customer friendly

can someone please help me to overcome from above problems?

Purchased TVS Wego in May 2011, since then it's having Engine oil leakage problem. Every time when I left my vehicle (TVS Service centre Hebbal, Bangalore) for service I did asked centre owner to solve the issue, though he pretend to solve it by changing one or the other things but issue not resolved but I have coughed heavy bill.
Same issue is brought to the Sales Manager who shown personal interest to solve the problem infact I left my vehicle for 2days for test drive also but issue not resolved.

With my curiosity I inquired various other TVS service stations whether they are receiving same complaint and surprised to hear that it’s a manufacturing fault and one in thousand vehicle has same problem.

When there is a genuine problem is there then why TVS service stations are not instructed for replacement or providing permanent solution.

    I had purchased a TVS Apache RTR 160 bike. And the battery which came with the bike happened to be a faulty one. When i inquired about it with the dealers they temporarily solved the issue by just repairing it ( where as it required a complete replacement). When the battery started causing problem again i went to the main dealers on 30-11-12 and they sent the faulty battery to the Exide godown to replace it under warranty. Now after 20 days and almost 7 visits and 100 phone calls they seem to be just indefinitely postponing it further giving some lame resons. I'm frustrated by this unprofessional behavior by the service team of TVS and I'd like to register a complaint against the Bommanalli Branch of TVS, Bangalore.

      Because improper servicing done by MAHESH AUTO and their mechanics my bike have all those problems.
      Performance of my also gone down cause of that its milege is reduced now.

      I buyed my TVS APACHE RTR180 from MAHESH AUTO,Aurangabad. From past 4-5 servicing those guys are not doing servicing properly of my bike.I told them about this but they didn't responded me well.Cause of this there are some problems with my bike started like knocking of engine vibrations in engine parts.

        SELF START BATTERY DEFECT
        PURCHASED TVS WEGO ON 30/08/10 FROM FATEHPURIA MOTORS,KOTA, NO. IS RJ20/SN 2142. VEHICLE STARTED TROUBLE ON SELF START AND IN 5/6 SERVICE ( NEARLY IN FEB 12) IT WAS TOLD THAT VEHICLE HAS BATTERY PROBLEM SO BATTERY WAS REPLACED. AGAIN THE SAME PROBLEM ARISED IN AUG 12, THE COMPLAINT LODGED ONLINE TO TVS, IT WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT AND COMPANY REPLACED BATTERY AGAIN. WHEN ASKED WHAT IS THE PERMANENT SOLUTION, IT WAS TOLD THAT COMPANY HAS CHANGED THE BATTERY ALONG WITH ITS MODULES IN NEW VEHICLES BUT FOR OLD VEHICLES THE BATTERY WILL BE REPLACED.
        AGAIN THE SELF START PROBLEM STARTED FROM 1st OF NOV-12 AND THE ONLINE COMPLAINT LODGED , REFERENCE NUMBER IS 20752 DT 05/11/12. THIS TIME COMPANY SAID THAT THE OLD DRY TYPE BATTERY HAS TO BE REPLACED BY THE NEW LIQUID TYPE BATTERY WITH ITS MODULE AND BECAUSE 2 YRS WARRANTY HAS BEEN FINISHED THEY CHARGED RS. 1236.00 FOR THIS CHANGE.
        IT IS SUBMITTED THAT DESPITE KNOWING THE MANUFACTURING BATTERY DEFECT, COMPANY REPLACED THE DRY BATTERY TWO TIMES DURING WARRANTY PERIOD WHILE THE SAME PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED IN NEW VEHICLES . AS SOON AS THE WARRANTY PERIOD FINISHED COMPANY CHANGED THE MODULE & BATTERY ON PAYMENT BASIS.
        IT IS REQUESTED TO GIVE DUE RELIEF FOR THE TROUBLE AND MISCHIEVIOUS CUSTOMER CARE KNOWINGLY

        Further got call from TVS through Mr. Subramanyam Sinha on 17/11/12 and then on 19/11/12 and he told to contact to Mr. naushad at Fatehpuria motors, Kota for submission of battery and bill for rectification of complaint and any problem. I submitted both the items today 20/11/12 at 10:15AM, but the further decision was hold because of mail requirement from TVS.
        But it is my bad luck that today when i opened my seat for handing over the old battery A crack was noticed near three bolts in utility box where the mounting of new liquid battery bolted. When I told Mr. Naushad that this has been developed during replacement, he said that it is due to customer fault.what a pity?
        Will attach the photo of that crack later as instantly no camera was available.

        My part complaint resolved but remaining part pertaining to dealer M/s Fatehpuria Motors, Kota remained unattentive.

          Speedometer malfunction

          I Purchased TVS Wego from SBM TVS Motors, Peravallur branch during Jun 2011 ,and exactly after running 1000kms the speedometer stopped working and everytime i complaint during every service it was fixed but i was charged for the cable change along with labor charges and taxes extra,but it did not last for longer period till date the speedometer cable (Warm cable or whatever they call it as) has been replaced 5 times and everytime...

          Therez no proper timing and coordination in madhaveli service station, people are not giving response properly to customer
          also they are not providing vehicle on time, just free service taking 2 days with out any problem, paid service they are ready to provide one day.
          Once person saying service got finished end of the day, another person saying itz take time two days, very disappoint about person them responsibility

            Change of battery taken under waranty period and payment taken refunded yesterday 03/12/12. But i think that for the remaining issue i have to lodge another complaint.

              This is to inform you that I have purchased TVS Wego on 5th May 2011 from Chaudhary Motor, Gurgaon.
              It has started giving trouble since within the six month of its purchase.

              The major issue at the moment is the Rear Tyre Cracking at multiple location and Uneven Tyre Wear.
              I want the faulty tyre replaced and the wear problem should be resolved.
              Other complaints are:
              1. Two times battery replaced for starting trouble and still the starter not responding in a single time while starting from stop light.
              2. Once the kilometer stopped working for that the meter gear has replaced.
              3. TVS sticker at meter has dis located by itself.
              4. Tyre wear and Cracking issue.

                  Dear Sir,

                  Am living in Chennai but my family resides in Virudhachalm. I wanted to buy a bike for my brother and since TVS's preferred brand in our home, i had gone to Sri krishna Motors, Virudhachalam to enquire about the TVS motor bikes.

                  But people present in the showroom had treated us so badly and were not even answering properly our enquiries.

                  They told us that they dont know and owner(Mr RT. Ananth) is unavailable and asked us to speak to him. On calling him up, he shouted back at us for disturbing him and told us to get the info from the shop.

                  If this is the way, TVS distributors treat their customers and that too in such a competitive market scenario when there are so many brands like Mahindra, Vespa available, TVS will surely loose its loyal clientele and valuable marketshare.

                  After such an experience, am off TVS motorbikes brand

                      Dear Sir/Mam,

                      I have purchased my TVS Wego Last November i.e 2011 since than i have done three servicing at Pune & my bike was
                      running fine without any problems.
                      Now I did my fourth servicing at Ak Ghandhi Nagpur after which my Electric start has stopped working, so every time i
                      decide to go out I have to Kick. This is causing problems as I dont want to kick & also I dont know whom to approach
                      as they may treat this problems differently
                      i had purchased my tvs wego last year july i, e 2011 since then i have facing problems about self start and since last 6 months my electric start has stopped working, so everytime i decide ti go i have to kick..this is causing problem to me as my leh has been operated last 2 yr back and my leg is so weak, i dont know whom to approach as they may treat this problems differntly..pls solve my problem as soon as possible..

                        i have bought the tvs apache rtr 180 from the dealer of tvs company in kadayanallur-627751, with full cash. the service is not good , and i have problem in my digital display the setting were automatically changed during long drive ,,,, and lot of vibration,. . i have mentioned this problem to the dealer during last two services they trying to convince me and they are not ready to solve the problems.........

                          I had purchased TVS Star City at Triton Motors, Ganganagar, Bangalore on 18/2/2012.
                          Within in first 500 kms the bike started giving numerous problems which are as follows :
                          1) During first 500 kms The engine started getting overheated whenever I touched the speed of 40 Km/hr as a result of which engine used to stop.
                          Things turned to hell when it was unable to start in the first 600 kms. so I took the bike to Triton motors. The showroom people did'nt bother about the problem & no one was listening to me as they said they were busy. Anyways, I sent a mail to customer care of TVS motor company regarding this. After that Triton motors called me & registered the complaint.
                          They kept my bike with them for 3 days & returned. After that its was OK.
                          But again after next service the bike started giving poor performance.
                          Now I am planning to sell the same & switch over to Bajaj.

                                This is to bring to your notice i had done several follow up with you and your office still no feedback from your end.
                                daily I am calling to your office they are Postponing the delivery schedule . 11th i called to Mr. santhosh he told me you can take the vehicle without rectifying the problem . you started through battery and then i called service no. i am coming to your office for taking the delivery then they says no sir your engine dismantled after received the parts from TVs company only we can take the vehicle from us this can happened on or before Saturday . I called sat nobody taken the call . ( i have the when i called to your office they taken and answered to me but i don't have you are not taken my call )
                                on 17.09.2012 i called mr. santhosh he told me ( i called around 09.20 am 17.09.2012) i am on the way to office i will update the status still the time i am not received any call from your end . then i called to your service no. [protected] around 12.30 pm they told me don't call this no you call [protected] i called that no nobody taken again i called [protected] they says your vehicle to be deliver on 18.09.2012 .
                                I GAVE MY VEHICLE KICK START AND SELF START NOT WORKING COMPLAINT BUT YOU ARE TAKING MORE THAN 10 DAYS WHAT A BEUTY FOR DOING THE SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER .
                                I COULD APPROCH THE LOCAL SIDE MECHANIC THEY COULD HAVE THEON THE SAME DAY .( THEY REQURED PARTS NO. K6080750 AROUND COST RS.250/)

                                i give the above vehicle service on 10.09.2012 i calling regularerly they are saying next day next day postponding the vehicle delivery time . i call them sat nobody taken my call as per they given nos . i very much affried within one month i foud this problem - finally they says K6080750 PARTS NOT AVALIABLE WITH THEM DUE TO THEY NOT DELIVERY THE VEHICLE STILL TO ME . A SUCH REPUTED DEALER DON'T HAVE THIS PARTS AND I AM SUFFERING LOT WITHOUT MY VEHIC LES A SMALL REPAIE I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MPORE THEN TEN DAYS I SO VERY MUCH AFFRIED .
                                PLS LOOK INTO THIS . I AM NOT FACING SERVICING PROBLEM WITH THEM THIS IS NOT A FIRST TIME WHEN EVER I GIVEN SERVICE ANY ONE COMPLIAT NOT ATTAEND OR SERVICE NOT DONE PROPERLY

                                  we purchased tvs wego from one of authorized dealers Sri sharada tvs 0n 06/07/2012. there was trouble in oil leakage and it was rectified after 3 visists to the dealers work shop. after it developed starting trouble engine does not start at all on 14/08/2012, it was rectified after i towed it to the workhop. from yesterday the same problem has started. if a vehicle shows such problems in begining what will happen after 1 year or so. i think the vehicle is faulty
                                  very bad did not expect such faulty vehicle from tvs

                                    Petrol Pipe Leakage

                                    I have purchased a new TVS wego on 04.09.2012, till yet 14.09.2012 I have not got even a purchase invoice from a dealer . Every day after running some distance petrol pipe heavy leakage problem is faced . Total fuel gets vanished in minutes . Petrol pipe quality is very poor and even no lock or clip is provided to make the Pipe stable and not to get out from its place...

                                    Hello,
                                    I purchased Tvs Apache 160R on dec'2009. starting bike condition was good and day by day get lot of problems with the bike.
                                    when i approach servicing center they just replace the parts with new ones thts it. they dont resolve the problem. i came to understand there is no good mechanics in Gopal TVS. (Mechanic means they resolve the problem but ther just replace with new part) and they billed for every customer.

                                    I already given complaints to TVS but no one responding from few days. what to do now ?
