FOLIO NO. [protected]. ULIP amount was maturing on[protected], after paying instalments for 10 years. By[protected] the cheque for maturity amount should have been recd by me as there was no change in the address. But instead of sending the cheque I was unnecessarily asked to give my consent. On[protected] I wrote a letter which was handed over to branch office at Jeewan Bharati Building New Delhi. As I did not get any cheque I enqired from the same office on[protected]. There I was told that the cheque dated[protected] is lying at Jhandewalan office as Courier has returned it back due to some address problem. I could not understand why this cheque was not delivered at the same address where I am getting other correspondences regularily from UTI and moreover the house is never locked. I was told that cheque can be collected from the same office after two days. When I went to collect the cheque on 1-7-2009 at Jeewan Bharati Building I was told that the cheque's validity is already expired it has been sent back to Hyderabad for revalidation and it is revalidated can be collected from the same office after two days. On 6-7-2009 when I again went to the UTI office I was told that it is being revalidated and can be collected after one week. On[protected] when I again went to collect the cheque I was told that cheque had not come and no further commitment was given. As on date I do not know when I will get the amount.

Actually, the process of redemption is never clear. The agents also are confused.At UTI we are sent from desk to desk.

I too have ULIP 1971, which matured on 12.6.09. I would like to know the correct process too.

I have submitted my certificate at Vadodara Office o[censored]TI, and got a acknowledgement of submission of Certificate. Till today I didn't got cheque of maturity value. Cerificate Maturity date was 31st march 2009.

ARS BOND-64 — Non receipt of Interest & maturity payment of ARS Bond

1. Interest payment from 01.10.08 To 31.03.09 of AXIS Bank cheque was dishonoured by the same bank. I have dispatched the same to UTI. Till date I have not recd. the payment.
2. After maturity of ARS Bond on 01.04.09 I have deposited the ARS Bond certificate duly discharged to your office on 24.02.09. Till date no maturity amount is received. Legally you have to give additional interest on delayed payment. Please note. Thanks.

in June, 2009 followed by two remindersbut I have not received any reply nor my money from UTI.

So far I have not received any Maturity Intimation nor the Payment of the said ULIP though it has Maturied on 18 / 02 / 2010...
My payments of instalment not been acknowledged in spite of my sending them a copy o[censored]TI receipt dated 6/2/2008. These payments were made together by Cheque No. 111845 (Rs. 7500/-) and by Draft No. 554562 dated 4/2/2008. Even after making dozens of phone calls and sending copies of the proof (UTI receipt) over the last 6 months (to UTI Manager, Shimla), the UTI has not responded nor sent the maturity amount.

MY MEMBERSHIP NO. IS UL[protected] UNDER UTI'S UNIT LINKED INSURANCE PLAN, 1971. THE DATE OF COMMENCEMENT WAS 3.2.2000. THE PLAN HAS MATURED ON 3.2.2010 FOR PAYMENT. BUT STILL PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED.
